Payment budget not checked in MIGO against last years PO

We are using Former Budgeting. We have customised specific tolerance (OF23) to generate error message when budget exceeds 100% against payment budget. (not commitment budget).
Now we have a scenario: Purchase order was created in the last year. Good was received in the current year. There is no budget against the commitment item in the relevant fund center. I expect the system to throw error messsage and stop good receipt posting. However, system does not give any message and goods receipt is posted. I would like the system to stop processing of goods receipt.
Appreciate any help in this regard

Hello Ajay
Thanks for your reply. I could not get back in time since I was on holiday.
We do not carry specifically execute carry forward of PO commitments step (PMJ2). System automatically carry forward the commitment. Question is not about the commitment budget. We have configured the system to give error message only when the payment budget is exceeded not at the time commitment. Because the budgeting is done based on payments (actual receipt of goods).
For example:
Fund center budget : 2013          1000
                               2014          100
PO created in  2013 for 800.
Good receipt in 2013 for 600.
In 2014 good receipt done for 200 (remaning value of PO). I expect the system to give error message for payment budget since 200 is more than the budgeted amount of 100. However, no messages are issued and GR is posted.
Appreciate if you can throw some light on tis.
Thanks.
Cheers

If by any chance you have made purchases with more than one account, you must check for past purchases separately for each account.

    Hi Eli,
My basic issue is no payment budget value should be exceed than commitment value, like MIGO,SES,MB01,ML85 and ML81N value should be check available budget before post document.so that budget should not be negative. This is the critical requirement of my client.
system: EA-PS, release 600,SP level 24. Budget with BCS
Please recommend, Is above note applicable?

  • Excise Invoice Tab not appearing in MIGO against STO

  • We want to stop Budget AVC checks for MIGO & MIRO in Live System

    HI Everyone.
We are using Funds Management (BCS) and at the inital stage we are checking the budget at PR, PO, GR & Invoice level.
Now, due to the functional constraints we've decided to remove the Budget AVC checks for GR (MIGO) and IR (MIRO)
Note: At the movement we are not using any activity groups w.r.t tolerance groups, bcoz if we specify the activity groups for only PR & PO, system wont check the budget at GR & IR but, system will post the negative values (FMB_PT01)
So, as a work around, we've defined derivation steps at business transaction level (RMWE & RMRP) by assigning commitment item which is having financial transaction 40 & commitment item type 3, where system wont check the budget.
But, system is not performing the derivation based on this rule in PRD, where with the same config system able to work properly as we desired in DEV client and able to bypass the MIGO & MIRO.
Can anyone, give some suggestions or best way to achieve the said requirement of avoiding the AVC check @ MIGO & MIRO level.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Raja Sekhar

    Dear Mar,
I've maintained the Pre-development parameters in PRD and it is working fine as per my Derivation rule.
Can you tell me is there is similar kind of parameter, for service entry sheet also for the same purpose.
i've tried by maintaining parameter FLG_SES_OVERWRITE in FM01X, due to which in ML81N system taking the fund center as per the derivation, but when i am creating PO for services, system is not able to derive the fund center,
where as previously, before maintaining the above parameter, system use to derive the fund center based on cost center, which is not working after this maintainance.
    Any suggestions on this.
    Thanks for your support

  • Cenvat determination and vendor excise details are not checked in MIGO

    Hi experts,
I have created one PO with Zero excise duty amounts (No excise duty) and following problem observed at the time of MIGO -
System doesnt check any vendor excise details (excise indicator marked as ZERO in j1ID) even without entering excise invoice No and date in MIGO system accepts the entry with ZERO excise duty amounts.
hence a fictitious part 1 No is generate by system for which no point taking part II.
    Kindly suggest
    Regards,
    Pawan

Check  SAP  Note No 1282447-  check vendor excise details in MIGO .
While capturing excise invoice along with the goods receipt process through
the transaction MIGO, the system does not validate the existence of the
excise details of the vendor master.
This note introduces the error 8I 565, 'Excise Details are not maintanied
for Vendor MIGO', when the vendor excise details are not maintained in
    J1ID.

  • Internal Order budgeting not checking at the time of FB60

    Dear All Experts,
    Very Good Morning !
I have configured IO budgeting with Overall Planning ticked budget profile. I have assigned budger profile to Order type also.
In KO23 I have given limit also of Rs.10,000 /- for overall and yearly 2011 Rs,5,000 /-. In define tolerance I have maintained two entries as below : 1 is with 01 Group wich will check PO's and 2nd one is 04 Group which will check Financial account document. ( I hope this correct, If not please rectify me ). In tolerance limit I have given 3 as a error should throw.
I refer this thread [Internal Order Budget - Availability Control|Internal Order Budget - Availability Control; from our SDN forum. I activated budget control from KO23 and referring KO30 now system is showing GREEN Availability control is active.
Now when I am running FB60 with assignment IO, system is not throwing any error, warning , it remains normal posting is happening.
If anybody has gone through the same issue, experts inputs / guidance will be very helpfull.
    Regards,
    Revati Joshi.

    Your tolerance limits are fine
Let me put you some points here.
    Creating IO
       1. Investment Profile is mandatory for Capital projects
       2. If you are using Investment management, then check IM32, & IM52
       3. KO02 - Check  - Investments tab - IM Program and Position ID assinged or not
       4. Need to assign the budget in both Controlling area currecny and object currency (KO12, & KO22)
       5. Availability control should be Active - KO30
       6. Planner plofile - KP04 - Just press F4 and check - if there are any created for your controlling area
       7. Check if you have any line itesm already posted to the IO - KOB1, KOB2, KOB3
Now, the actual plan is - KPF6 and KDF6
Here you need to input the below details
    Version                    0
    From Period               01
    To Period                      12
    Fiscal Year          2011
    Order                                           input the order
                      to
             or group
Cost Element                              which Cost elemtn you are going to post in FB60
                      to
             or group
Enter those details and in next screen - give the amount for that cost element.
Now o and post in FB60
    Hope it helps
    Thanks

  • Payment method not check in payments

    Hi
If I set some payment method (P) in vendor master data and leave blank payment method in dodument item then F110
create proposal (P) for payment for this document.
Is it possible to turn on checking document items for payment methods when is blank?

    Dear Kosmo,
You should delete the payment method into the vendor master data.
Then during the proposal the documents without the payment method will go into exceptions.
    I hope this help.

I downloaded the recent Pages update but now I can not open some documents done in the past year.  I get an error saying that I need to download a newer version of Pages.  I am running version 4.3.  Do I have to purchase an update of Pages?

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.

hi guys i stop zooks from jan this year and im not a member anymore with them , and u overcharged me this morning 109.99
can u refund the money pls
    thanks

You're not speaking with Apple when you post here. These are user-to-user support forums. So no one here can make any refunds.
As to your question, did you unsubscribe from Zooks via this procedure?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
If you didn't, then you didn't cancel, you just stopped using the app. Your subscription, however, continued and apparently automatically renewed. You first need to cancel the automatic renewal. After that, whether you can get a refund I don't know, since the official terms of sale is that all sales are final, but you can go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store and ask.

  • Unable to Control Half-yearly & yearly Budget in Payment Budget

    Hi Expert,
Our Client's requirement is to control the FM Budget on half-yearly as well as yearly in payment Budget category.
Here they want that system will enable to make PR & PO for entire year but at the time of MIGO or ML81N if half-year budget get exhausted it will stop.
Example: They will create PR for SAP Service AMC for full year as 100000*12 month = 12,00,000. But at the time of MIGO or SES system will stop to make any SES if budget will exceed for half-year(100000*6month = 6,00,000).
Which is might be impossible because once budget get consumed at PR level it will not asked for budget again @ MIGO or SES.
I can do the same if activate the commitment budget but they want only payment budget not commitment budget.
    Kind Regards
    Shyam

    Hi Eli,
I agreed with you and it's 100% correct but for the same I raise the OSS and I got the below reply:
But I have one doubt as below which I got the reply from SAP against OSS 457351/2014.
SAP has provided below three option for this issue.
    1. Use Budget releases
    2. Use different budget type, or even different AVC Ledger
    3. Use Budget period as FM Dimension.
I use option 1 & 3 issue is not resolved but if I use the option 2(use Commitment Budget), then issue will get resolved which is not correct because our requirement is to control the budget by Payment Budget only not from any other Budget category.
    Please suggest.

  • Item 010 Fund Center/Commit Payment Budget Exceeded (FM)

    Hi Expertise,
Our user executing FMJ2 transaction to carry forward purchase requisition (PR) / Purchase Order (PO) from 2014 to 2015 (April to March) by that time getting the below error message, but budgets are available for 2015.
Item 010 Fund Center/Commit Payment Budget Exceeded
Another user also facing the similar issue while create new PR in the current FY-2015 with different commitment item & fund center, still getting the same error, but budgets are available for 2015.
Kindly share your views and ideas, its urgent.
    Thanks,
    Jammy

    Hi Jammy,
Please check the following hints about this matter:
    1) To be on the safe side, please run report RFFMRC04 in test mode, to see if there are differences between the line items and totals table.
If errors arise, please run it in update mode, whithout other budgeting/posting activities occurring at the same time (otherwise you may encounter differences). Then, please reconstruct the AVC totals (FMBV for Former budgeting, FMAVCREINIT for BCS).
    2) Reassignment during fiscal year change also uses the Derivation strategy for reassignment (transaction FMYC). Please verify if you have defined in FMYC a different FM account assignment (funds center and commitmente item) than the one that you are expecting.
I am not sure if you have Former Budgeting or BCS, therefore consider also the following:
    3) IF you are using Former Budgeting, I guess you are getting BP629. Please check report BPINDAN2_NEW and  if the 'Assigned budget' is same as the 'Commitments/actuals' the values are ok and budget is missing. If the values are different, you must run report BPINDX03 (FMBV) first to correct it.
    4) IF you are using BCS, I guess you are getting FMAVC* message. For this, use transaction FMAVCR01 to verify your budget consumption and make sure that the budget was updated for payment budget not commitment budget (as per the error message that you are receiving).
    5) Please check how this UOM (unit of measure) is defined in transaction CUNI.
In this transaction, you can set the Value-based commitment indicator.
This indicator controls whether commitments for the chosen unit of measure are
recorded on a quantity basis or a value basis. If the indicator is not set, the
commitments are managed on a quantity basis. If you set the indicator they are
    managed on a value basis.
For value-based updates, the reduction of purchase order commitments occurs
with the maximum of goods receipt and/or invoice value. For
quantity-based commitments, the reduction of purchase order commitments occurs
with the maximum of goods receipt and/or invoice quantity.
    Example:
You create a purchase order with the quantity of 1000 at the price of 10.
You post a goods receipt related to this PO with the quantity of 500 at the
    price of 9.
For value-based updates, an amount of 4,500 is updated.
For quantity-based updates, an amount of  5,000 is updated.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards, Vanessa.

  • Creation of Budget using Last Years Actual budget

    Hi,
    1) Is it possible to create new budgets using copy function to copy last years' actual budget to create a new budget.
    2) Also copy budget from one fund center/commitment item to another fund center/commitment item
If it is not the standard functionality then how this can be done.
    Regards,
    Jyoti

    Hi,
You can copy budget via FMCYLOAD - Generate Budget Data activity. You can define reassignment strategy restricting it to CBV year-end process in FMYC, and thus, making available copying from one budget address to another.
    Regards,
    Eli

    Hi,
if you want more flexible, you could try this modified Istvan's query:
    SELECT top 10 T1.ItemCode, T2.ItemName, T3.ItmsGrpNam,   SUM(T1.Quantity) as "Total Qty Sold",
      SUM(T1.TotalSumSy) as "Total Amount" ,

             and r.ItemCode=T1.ItemCode) '2007 Sold',
(select sum (r.TotalSumSy) from ODLN h
         inner join DLN1 r on h.DocEntry=r.DocEntry
         where h.DocDate>='[%6]' and h.DocDate<='[%7]'
