Payment Consolidation Feature

Hello --
We have several accounts where we use the Payment Consolidation feature in the Accounting Tab.  We would like to be able to see the total sales generated by these accounts (i.e., the sum of all the individual accounts that are consolidated with this main account).  What is the easiest way to see this?  Thanks.
Mike

Mike,
Use the Sales Analysis Report for this.  When you open SA Report, the BP Properties are available as a selection to filter results.
Using this you should be able to get what you are looking for.
Simple query to find all consolidated BP.
SELECT DISTINCT T1.CardCode, T1.CardNAme
FROM  [dbo].[OCRD] T0 INNER JOIN [dbo].[OCRD] T1
ON T1.CardCode = T0.FatherCard
WHERE T0.CardType = 'C' AND T0.FatherCard IS NOT NULL
From the result, click the Yellow link arrow to go the BP and Mark the Properties

  • Payment Consolidation error

    Hi,
While creating Payment consolidation in BP following error is raised.
"Cannot concatenate summary cards [Business Partner - BP Summary], 'BPcode' [Message 3502-1]
    What could be the reason.
    Can anybody help on this.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,Jitin Chawla
Actually we assigned Consolidating BP. I think because of consolidating BP only its showing error.
Ex:C00001 customer code we assigned Consolidating BP C00002.both Customers has different Control accounts.
User added out going payment through this C00001 with out bill ref, itu2019s generated automatic JE like
Bank account credit amount and C00002 account debit amount here line level projects are not updated hence user is trying to update line level projects but itu2019s showing error is Invalid code [JE rows-account][Line 2] '1040104001 '[Message 173-36]
This error is showing only consolidating BPu2019s and this type of entries also not reflecting in Reconciliation. Wethere both customersu2019 control accounts should be same? And both customer groups are same. What is the reason for this problem?is there any setup we need to do for this consolidating BP?please advise me.

  • Set "Payment Consolidation" for BP after we have added invoices for that BP

    Dear Experts,
    Currently, I have 3 BPs; bp01. bp02, bp03.
bp01 is the payment consolidation parent for bp02 and bp03, so I have also setup as accordingly in bp02 and bp03 to point to bp01.
However, my problem was... before I set the setting above, I had already have couple of invoices posted for bp02 and bp03. Now when I go to Incoming Payment and browse for bp01, I don't see the invoices for bp02 and bp03.
I understand that I had done the setting only after the invoices were created, that is why the invoices for bp02 and bp03 are not showing. But is there any way I can show all the invoices anyway when I want post incoming payment for bp01 now??
    Much Thanks!
    Warmest Regards,
    Chinho

    Dear Gordon,
Reversing the invoices is not an option because there are thousands of invoices in my case, however I have found a good enough workaround.
My objective is actually on how I can key in the Incoming Payment in SAP in my case, whereby the Parent BP really pays the invoice for her Children BP. Here is what I do:
    1. Using the Parent BP, key in a "Payment on Account" Incoming Payment.
    2. Then, go to Main Menu > Business Partner > Reconciliation > Manual Reconciliation
    3. Tick checkbox "Mutiple BP"
    4. In the list, browse for the Parent BP and all the Children BP. Then reconcile the incoming payment from step1 with all the relevant open invoices
    5. Click on "Reconcile" to applying the payment
    Hope it helps!

  • Payment Consolidation and Delivery Consolidation - BP Master

    Hi,
BP Master has an option for Consolidating BP under the Accounting Tab. There are two options that follow: Payment Consolidation and Delivery Consolidation.
Can anyone help me by explaining how this option helps and where and how does the effect take place?
    Regards
    Sudatt

    Hi Sudatta......
    Read the below text......
There may be cases where you will need/want to consolidate the business activities carried out with
several business partners to specific business partner.
    Example
You have a customer who is chain store. Each branch is a separate business partner with whom you do business
(receive orders, issue deliveries, etc.) but the payments for the goods you deliver to the different branches are
received from the main office of the chain store. In this scenario, the consolidating business partner is the business
partner master data record that represents the main office, and the consolidation method will be Payment Consolidation.
As a result, the A/R invoices you issue for the different branches, will be assigned to the main office business partner
    to pay.
    End of the example.
Specify here the business partner to consolidate the transactions of this business partner.
Payment Consolidation Select to display invoices of business partners that are linked to the same consolidating business partner in the Incoming or Outgoing Payments window.
When the head office pays for all invoices sent for its branches. In a specific payment document, you can select the branch business partner directly.
Delivery Consolidation Select to display deliveries of business partners that are linked to the same consolidating business partner in the Invoice window.
When the head office is invoiced for all deliveries shipped to its branches. In a specific Invoice document, you can select the branch business partner directly.
In short this option is used when transactions involved more that 1 party.

    Rahul

  • Incoming Payment Consolidating BP Error

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to ask if anyone has encountered the same error in the Incoming Payment. I can't post the transaction and a system message will appear.
"The consolidating bp behind one or more of the selected invoices is different from the current consolidating bp. [message 3524-74]"
I have checked my customer and its consolidating bp and they are correct. What could be the possible error.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to show a BP's payment consolidation partner's BillTo address in PLD?

    Hi,
I have created a new invoice in PLD, and there is a customer group which has payment consolidation partner, and it's the payment consolidation partner which should receive the invoice. So I need it's BillTo address to show on the invoice, and not the customer which originally placed the order.
Any ideas how to fix this?
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to do payments consolidation

    Dear Experts,
How can i add incoming payment via DIAPI for consolidating BP?
For normal payment - without consolidate BP is ok, can add successfully.
But , for consolidate BP, its only work for BP on Invoice, not the consolidate BP.
But, I need to post incoming payment for consolidate BP (invoice is point to other BP).
    Thanks in advance.

Actually my query got problem, after further checking, i find the answer already.
    Thanks all.

  • BP consolidating feature

    Hi all,
I'm trying to use the Consolidating BP feature with Delivery Consolidation option enabled.
Unfortunately, it seems that it doesn't work for goods receipts posted before the activation of that fucntion.
Is that correct? Does a workaround exist?
    Thanks
    Fabio Tombesi

    Hi Gordon,
    and thanks for your feedback.
In this case the reverse method isn't applicable. We have a quite complex organization and I cannot reverse a goods receipt just because the invoice has been issued by the parent company.
I'm wondering if SAP can modified this feature. It would be really very useful.

  • Incoming payment - Consolidating BP problem

I am trying to input an Incoming payment but getting an error message as follows:
"The consolidating BP behind one or more of the selected transactions is different from the current consolidating BP"
I have tried removing the consolidation from the Accounting tab of the BPs master data but it still won't let me post the payment.
How can I work out this problem? I don't know when the consolidation was set up. The BPs would have been set up separately and it is likely that some invoices were issued before the second BP for that company was set up and invoices may have been issued from the second one before the consolidation was created between the 2..
I tried looking at the individual invoices to see if they have information about the consoloidation when they were created but I can't find any..
    Thanks for any advice,
    Karen

    Dear Karen,
Dit you check the history report of the busines partner(s)?
    Tools > show history...
In this history report you can check if and which consolidated BP was filled in at the time the invoice was created.
When you change these settings accordingly on the BP you should be able to process the payment.
    Kind regards,,
    Charlotte Jansen

  • Payment consolidation

    Good morning,
Is it possible to consolidate part of the payment.  Suppose I have raised an invoice for business partner A , want  business partner B  to partly pay the invoice for BP A. Is it possible to partly consolidate the payment ?

    Hi Wendy,
I am little confused on your question.  Could you please explain little more. If you are asking about partial payment yes we can do the partial payment for the invoice.  SAP providing the options to make the payment partially (Partial , Residua and full clearing).
    Thanks

  • Transfer invoices as a branch to the account of consolidation of payments

    Hello.
I set the tab for the financial account consolidation payments. But I need to transfer invoices (all the sales documents) to the parent account. is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.
    Oscar.

Invoices cannot be transferred once they are created.
If you have setup consolidated BP, then when you create an Invoice for the Child the JE is created on the parent BP.  This is the function of consolidation.
Only new invoices that are created after you marked Payment Consolidation on Accounting Tab will the Incoming payment show the invoices for all the children when selecting the Parent

  • Double consolidation

We have a client from furniture industry, and he / we have a problem with his client-structure.
The company has clients with independent branches (e.g. BP no. 1), treated in SBO as business partners. The branches receive the goods, but the invoice must be sent to the headquarter (e.g. BP no. 2), also a business partner in SBO. So we use Delivery Consolidation in Business One.
The invoice for BP 2 is created using "Copy From" the consolidated BP. Everything OK. But : Additionally the headquarter is a part of a Purchase Alliance (in Germany Handelsverband (also an BP in SBO, w.g. no. 3)), which is paying the invoice of the headquarter. So, normally we would choose the payment consolidation, but SAP Business One does not allow "Double Consolidation".
BP 1 : Delivery Consolidation to BP 2
BP 2 : Payment Consolidation to BP 3  <-- error.
Anyone an idea how to solve this problem ? Anyone who knows WHY there is such an veryfication (and the error) ? A chance to get this feature in future versions ?

    Hi Raju,
Thank you for the answer but it don't help me, this was setted.
    Any idea ?
I saw another new tread with the same problem: Consolidation package multiply the amounts introduce on group currency
I related this to SAP, if I have some news I post here.

  • Imported Invoices to a Consolidated BP does not reflect Aging correctly

I imported some service documents and the file had all the correct BP codes but they were set up in SAP with a payment consolidating BP...now when I look at the account balance for these, they are all blank and all documents reside under the Consolidated BP account. Has anyone had this issue before and is there a reason why it did this?
If there is a way to fix this easily through the aging report, or if anyone has recommendations on the best way to correct this I would appreciate it thanks

  • Payment cards : authorization not received on certain days

    Dear fellow SAP users,
We use the payment cards feature but we do not need to connect to a clearing house because we know that the credit cards are actually valid.
In order to by pass the connection to a clearing house, we copied the standard CCARD_AUTH_SIMULATION function and kept only the "approved" part.
This works fine except for the sales created on certain days (namely Saturdays).
For these orders, it looks as if no call is even made to the function module because the call status in the sales order is blank ("Not relevant").
Could this be due to the factory calendar (Saturday is not a workday in the calendar we use) or something similar ?
Your help is highly appreciated because I am getting crazy with this issue !
