I have made a website with adobe muse. How do let the user of my paypal button choose a quantity of the product?

That's not something you can do this way. If that's required, the user will have to input this info on PayPal directly.

IWeb not publishing PayPal button widget

As per Burns Media (see below). I have taken the proper steps to insert a PayPal button. However the button does not show up on the published site. I've done this in the past and it did work but not now. I have the latest update to iWeb and running OSX 6.4.2 Is there a problem with these updates or am I just missing something?

PayPal buttons for iWEB 1.1.2

Hi,
I am new to iWEB, and I made this really cute website with some of my art, but I have run into a problem with getting it to show PayPal buttons. I have read posts for other versions, and I cannot find any kind of HTML editor, or HTML Widget to use in this version I have. I have tried just pasting in the code right into the page, but when I publish the site, I see the code, not the PayPal button.
HELP!!!!! I need to get this finished up and please do not tell me that I need to buy another version! This is Apple software we are talking about! Where's the HTML editor??????!!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am DESPERATE!!!!! What to do?!

PayPal buttons appearing on detail page

I've added Paypal links using the HTML widget to a photo page in iWeb. If you click on the photo to enlarge it, all the Paypal buttons (from the other photos) show up on the enlarged image. Is there a way to avoid this or set up another kind of page so that just the image selected shows up? Thanks.

You will need some additional javascript code in an HTML snippet to get what you want. Cyclosaurus has posted a solution to that.

Paypal Buttons Malfunctioning

I have set up a trial site using Muse that has Paypal Buy Now buttons to sell a product.
I want to sell the product in different countries and so I have created different web pages for each country. On each of these pages is a Paypal Buy Now button with the relevant country setting and currency. (The code for each button having been individually generated on the Paypal site). So far so good.
So I inserted the different bits of html code from Paypal into the different country pages. I previewed in Muse and all looked good. Then I published to a trial site on BC.
Now when I visit the trial site, all the Paypal Buy Now buttons lead to a single checkout page that shows the same currency and the same country setting regardless of the button I used to get there.
All the buttons started out a different bits of html code so I'm not sure how come they're all generating identical checkout pages now.
Is this a Muse problem ? A Paypal problem ? Or is it me that's I malfunctioning ?
Any ideas or insights most welcome! Thanks!

Just to isolate the issue, can you try to use paypal button from widgets section , setup different currency and then check if that works.
This would isolate if there is any problem with the generated code which you are using.
Also the seller account should be set to accept the currency selected, which is done from Paypal end.

PayPal button

I've added a PayPal button to my iWeb site using the HTML widget. It displays fine in iWeb but when I upload it to my service provider the button shows up with an "Oops!!!" message. When I spoke with PayPal and service provider they could not see the code in the script. How can I get the button to work?

I'm not sure though how to add my code. With iWeb I just added it to the HTML widget and it appeared in iWeb. I don't write HTML so wouldn't know how to add it to the code.

PayPal Button missing after upload on iWeb 8

I've created a page on iWeb with a PayPal button. I created the button on PayPal and added it to my page using the HTML widget and it shows up fine in iWeb. When I upload it to my server the button and look at the page on the web it shows this message:
When I spoke with my server provider they said they could not see the HTML code. I'm not sure why it's not uploading.
A publishing error message also appears after I upload the page:
Although I got this message all my pages were uploaded on my site and they looked fine except for the area where I placed the PayPal button.
Any ideas how I can get my PayPal button to upload and work?

I uploaded the entire site again and now the PayPal button is showing fine and working but a few of the other jpgs that I use for links are missing. This is how it looks in iWeb:

At least I know the PayPal button works now. Just need to figure out why the other files aren't loading properly. They were prior when the PayPal button wasn't uploading correctly.

How do I add a PayPal button to a page in my site?

My client has a PayPal account and they would like me to add a button that enables visitors to click the button and submit donations.
Is this something that is supported by Muse?

Yes - you can add a PayPal button using arbitrary HTML.
Create the donation page in Muse. If desired, you can also create a second confirmation page, that thanks the visitor for their donation after it is submitted.
Publish both pages.
Log into your PayPal account on their website. Use their system to generate the donation payment button.
Copy the source code for the button.
Return to Muse and go to Object > Insert HTML..., paste the code in the HTML Code area and Click OK.
Position the HTML block where you want the button to appear on the page.
Publish the page again and click the button to test that the button works as expected. It should jump from the Muse donation page to the PayPal page where the visitor can enter their donation into your client's account.
You can style the PayPal page to look more like your site's design, which creates a more seamless appearance. If desired, you can also configure the PayPal payment page to redirect to the confirmation/thank you page you created in step 1 after processing the transaction.

PayPal button not visible in Firefox, but IS visible in Internet Explorer. WHY??

I was trying to make an online purchase & the yellow PayPal selection button wasn't visible. I called the company to make sure they accepted PayPal, (they do), & they opened their browser & made a test purchase so they could tell me where the PayPal button was. On their browser the PayPal button was there...on mine it wasn't. I closed out Firefox & restarted it, but the PayPal option button never appeared. I decided to try to make the purchase using IE & the PayPal button was right where the company told me it would be!!! Do I have to change one of my settings somehow?? I avoid IE like the plague...I even deleted the Desktop shortcut for it on my laptop...I had to do a search so I could use it to test this issue. I really don't want to have to use IE for anything!!! Help will be greatly appreciated!!

Dynamic Paypal button for PDF fill-in form

Hi there,
I need help with adding a Paypal button to a PDF fill-in form. The Paypal button should feed through the Invoice Number field (a text field) and the invoice total amount (also a text field) to Paypal and add this to the Paypal cart (not ‘buy now’, but ‘add to cart’ so that more transactions can be added after that)

I’ve tried to add this Javascript action to the button in Acrobat but it doesn’t work.

How to Use an Image to Customize the Static Button Widget

Can I just get someone to help me figure out how to use an image to customize the static button widget, please?
I have tried using several different types of images, but none of them seem to actually change the appearance of the button.

I tried to use the tools within the widget itself - it offers you the opportunity to use an image (see screenshot below).
I also opened it in Flash and tried to replace the images for one of the button styles there w/ my own, but in re-publishing the SWF from there I broke the widget. When I attempted to use the edited widget, there were no customization controls available after I inserted it (see screenshot two below).

Gallery with Paypal buttons and drop-downs on the index page?

I'm looking for a LR gallery where I can have thumbnails with Paypal buttons and drop-downs on the index page.
I would prefer to keep my galleries interface streamlined and don't want to clutter it up with dropdowns and cart. I would like to have 1 page for ordering that has all my images as thumbnails with drop downs for price and size, rather than right-clicking on and image which opens in another page like the LRG Gallery with Paypal.
I don't have a lot of experience messing with code, and none with .js. I did make a drop down in Paypal and have the code, but I think things would be pretty unwield it I designed a page as a table like I would in MS Word.
I'm familiar with LRG Complete gallery, but don't see that it has the ability to not require a right click to order.

Maybe some could try this out, and has experienced the same problem.
It is on the site http://www.fonetix.biz
and then push the German flag in the top Right corner, and further click on the Button "Contact info". It will give the eroor.

Adding an image to the Static Button Widget

Hi all
I managed to convince my client to let me do my own navigation instead of using the by default navigation bar and its limitations. I finally will be able to do branching and customised feedback on several slides! Great. BUT. There is a but. I need to make the new buttons look like the current ones: Pause/Play, previous, next, TOC and Exit.
I was happy to discover that I could use a static button widget on my master to deal with my previous and next buttons for all my standard slides. But when I try to add an image of my button the way I want it to look, it looks like that:
If I resize the button the picture remains at the same size:
I don't get the Image feature here at all and I wonder if it's possible to customise the button with our own pictures...
Any success anybody?

Alright thanks for your suggestions. Yes I am publishing to a slightly different location and I pasted the picture at the root of the published folder. The pic is found but it appears tiny:
It should replace the button by default but it is added to the button actually, by its side.

Trying to add a paypal button in actionscript 2.0?

So the company I work for wants to add a paypal button to the website (not a buynow or a shopping cart). We received the html code but the flash doesn't accept it. So I've been creating an actionscript for it without luck.
I've tried:

PayPal buttons inside table scramble Design View in DW CS5.5

I developed my web site using Dreamweaver 8:

As you see, I have PayPal buttons inside table cells. I did this using Design View, putting the insertion point in the table cell, going to code view, and pasting the PayPal button code at the insertion point. This all worked fine.
I just upgraded to DW CS5.5. and now when I try to use the same procedure, the Design View image gets scrambled after I paste the button code in code view. The table format is no longer in place, and I can no longer see where the cells of the table are. However, when I go to Live View, everything looks fine including the table and the buttons.
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this problem? As it stands, I cannot use DW to work on my web site, which is a major problem for me.

With DW CS5.5 when I try to insert a PayPal button into a table (which I always did with DW8) the table in Design View gets scrambled, making it unusable. Please would one of you out there who is much more knowledgeable about DW than me try it and see if there is a solution? If you create a new HTML page in Design view, create a table in it, place the insertion point inside one of the table cells, go to the code view and locate the insertion point there, then paste the PayPal button code at that point. Here's the code:
