Payroll retroactivity log

Hi,
does anyone know if there is any table or transaction that traces what modification or process has motivated a retroactivity calculation of the payroll?.
I'm trying to find what has caused a retroactivity and i'm not being able to find the reason.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Basically this is the Class which is responsible for Retro calculation - CL_HRPA_RETROCALC
Try with this class. you can debug and know whats going on.. T-code for class is SE24.

  • Sap Payroll error log report

    Hi All,
We are developing Report on SAP Payroll log with the error message . Is any table exist in SAP where we can get the standard error message repositery and then convert it in the User freindly error message ?
    Thanks

    Hello hg,
Before developing report on SAP Payroll error log I suggest taking a look at below blog. There is a new functionality from SAP to improve payroll data validation and they are calling it "Control Center Add-On".
This is going to be a free add on for anyone who is on EHP7 and NetWeaver on 7.4 release. The general availability is June 2nd 2014.
Improve payroll data validation with SAP Payroll control center add-on
    Hope this helps.

  • Help Needed : Payroll Schema - Function P0014

    Dear Experts,
My scenario is as follows, I have an employee whose July Payroll was processed. Thereafter there was a change in basic pay w.e.f from 1st July. Now while evaluating August payroll, retroactive accounting is triggered and both months are processed, and the difference is carried forward.
The function P0014 along with a PCR is being used in the payroll schema, and by looking at the payroll log, I can see that in July's processing it works fine. However when it is called in August's processing, P0014 appears to be empty, and as a result the PCR is not called because there are no wagetypes selected. I want P0014 to be evaluated for August as well, so that the recurring payments are processed twice, in both July and August.
Would really appreciate if anyone can help on this matter.
    Regards,
    Talha

Yes the employee has an infotype record dated from 1.1.2014 onwards to 31.12.9999, so it should be valid for both months.
I think I am missing something with its evaluation, in that the wagetypes loaded through P0014 can only be processed once.
From my testing I have seen that function P0014 loads the wagetypes only in the first month of evaluation; i.e. if I run Retroactive further back from June; P0014 loads the wagetype while in June Payroll, and is empty for July and August.

  • Require 9i Primary and Standby redo logs files same size?

    Hi,
We have 9.2.0.6 Oracle RAC (2 node) and configured data guard (physical standby).
I want to increase redo log files size, but i can't this do same time primary and standby side.
Is there a rule, primary and standby database instances have same size redo log files?
If I increase only primary redo log files, is there any side effect? However I try this issue on test system. I increased all primary redo log files(if status='INACTIVE' drop redo log group and add redo log group, switch logfile,...)
, but i couldn't changed standby side. So the system is work well. Is this correct solution or not? How can i increase both sides redo log files?
    Thank you for helps..

Thank you for your helps.. I found this issue answer:

Consequently, when you add or drop an online redo log file at the primary site, it is important that you synchronize the changes in the standby database by following these steps:
If Redo Apply is running, you must cancel Redo Apply before you can change the log files.
If the STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT initialization parameter is set to AUTO, change the value to MANUAL.
Add or drop an online redo log file:
To add an online redo log file, use a SQL statement such as this:

  • How to get data of reti or reto table from payresult for retroactive

    Hi all,
is there any of you have an experience in retrieving data for RETO or RETI (payroll retroactive accounting inflow) table in payresult?.
It is usually retrieved using pc_payresult t-code by the functional guy. RETO or RETI appears where there is a correction in the employee's wage. for instance, in January, the employee's wage is $3000 and he got a promotion so that he get $4000 monthly. but the payroll has already been posted, and the $3000 has already been transfered to his account. So that the salary raise ($1000) will be added in February and he will receive $5000 ($1000 + $4000) in February and $4000 in the next months. Using pc_payresult, in January, there will be created a RETO table which contain $1000 while in February there will also be created a RETI table which contain $1000.
In the ABAP HR code I am using PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT function mdule, but I didnt manage to find the table (RETO or RETI). If you guys have solutions regarding my problem, please have them shared with me.
    Thanks before,
    Irsyad

    Hi Peter,
The FM HRCM_PAYROLL_RESULTS_GET works well but it still cannot show me the RETO and RETI table.
The RT table you mentioned above with betrg field is the total take home pay, which I already knew hot to get it.
My problem is when using tcode pc_payresult, if I click on each of the records I will get several tables such as:
    WPBP
    RT
    RT_
    CRT
    BT
    VERSION
    PCL2
    VERSC
    TAX
    INS
    RETO
    TAXCU
    MODIF
    Please notice the RETO table.
but when I use several FM, it only get me RT, WPBP, BT, CRT,... but not RETO table.
I need this RETO table because I want to get the data in it.
Do you know how to get the RETO table?
    Thanks,
    Irsyad

8.3.5 Adding or Dropping Online Redo Log Files
Changing the size and number of the online redo log files is sometimes done to tune the database. You can add or drop online redo log file groups or members to the primary database without affecting the standby database. Similarly, you can drop log file groups or members from the primary database without affecting your standby database. However, these changes do affect the performance of the standby database after switchover.
    Caution:
Whenever you add an online redo log file to the primary database, you should add corresponding online and standby redo log files to the standby database.
For example, if the primary database has 10 online redo log files and the standby database has 2, and then you switch over to the standby database so that it functions as the new primary database, the new primary database is forced to archive more frequently than the original primary database.
Consequently, when you add or drop an online redo log file at the primary site, it is important that you synchronize the changes in the standby database by following these steps:
If Redo Apply is running, you must cancel Redo Apply before you can change the log files.

  • Dropping log file in standby database

    Please,
I need a help for the following issue:
I'm making a technical documentation on various event that occur on dataguard configuraation, right now I drop a redo log group file on primary database, and when I try to drop the equivalent log group file on standby database I got the following error:
    SQL> alter database drop logfile group 3;
alter database drop logfile group 3
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01156: recovery in progress may need access to files
this is the current state of the redolog file on standby database.
    SQL> select group#,members,status from v$log;
    GROUP# MEMBERS STATUS
    1 3 CLEARING_CURRENT
    3 3 CLEARING
    2 3 CLEARING
Eventhough I do the following command on standby I also get an error.
    SQL> ALTER DATABASE CLEAR LOGFILE GROUP 3;
ALTER DATABASE CLEAR LOGFILE GROUP 3
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01156: recovery in progress may need access to files
Can someone tell me how to drop on dataguard configuration the redolog file on primary database and their corresponding on standby database
I'm working on 10 release 2, on Windows
    Thanks you

Oracle Dataguard Concept and administration release 2,ref b14239: is my source but it doesn't work when trying to drop stanby group or logile member.
For example, if the primary database has 10 online redo log files and the standby

    ■ To add an online redo log file, use a SQL statement such as this:
SQL> ALTER DATABASE ADD LOGFILE '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/prmy3.log'

    SQL> ALTER DATABASE DROP LOGFILE '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/prmy3.log';

You will find this only in live payroll old log, because old log will not appear in live payroll,Old log takes much time in live payroll to display and system gives timeout error. If you want to check the calculations than run it in simulation.

  • Link between control record and infotype 0003.

    Hi all,
Can anybody explain me, what is the link between control record and infotype 0003?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Lucky.

    Hi,
Control record is a heart of payroll area(pa03)
Conrtol record alswa based on payroll area where it determines the current payroll period for the exact date
It defines the payroll past for retro active accounting recongnation.
It lock the master data and teh time data to prevent changes from being made during the payroll run, this lock is valid for the paryroll past and the payroll present changes with effect the future can still be made.
It determines the earliset retrocatice a/cing period.
In simple control record is to control the payroll status of the employee
    Payroll Status:(IT 0003)
The Payroll Status infotype (0003) contains data for Payroll Accounting and Time Evaluation.
The system automatically creates this infotype when the employee is hired. In general, the system updates the infotype and writes the changes to the payroll past.
You can change the payroll status of an individual employee using Payroll/Retroactive Accounting and Time Evaluation.
    Thanks
