Pb sending data to SLD - no RZ70 transaction

Hello,
I want to send data from an R/3 system (4/6 C) to the SLD. There is no RZ70 transaction in my R/3 system.
Does anybody know how to send data to the SLD without using the RZ70 transaction ?
Thank you
Benjamin

Hi,
From my side i will be suggesting couple of options.
1>Create a custom program and then you can read the data from CDHDR and CDPOS tables or there are standard function modules avaialble to read the data from CDHDR and CDPOS tables. Then call the proxy method in the program and send the data to XI. You can schedule the job running every one hr or 30 mins and what ever the changes to Standard tcodes(like Me21n) are taking place you can send the data.
2>Create a custom program and have selection-screen as date . Get all the records for that particluar day and then call the proxy method in the program and send the data to XI.You can schedule the job running every mid-night. So that for each day the interface will run once and send the data to XI for that particular day.

  • Send data from FrontEnd to MII Transactions

    Hello Friends,
    I am trying to find out which is the best approach to send data from Frontend (Browser, Android/iOS/BB devices) to MII Transactions.
    Following are couple of the approaches I found and need your inputs to decide the best one. Please note I would like to run the GUI's on mobile devices as well.
    1) GUI->Servlet->XacuteQuery-> Tranactions
    2) GUI-> Transactions directly
    I am using MII 14.0 version. Please lt me know if you have any other better apprach other than which I mentioned above.
    Thanks in advance

    I don't know what is wrong.<br>
    I have configured:<br>
    - SLDCHECK work properly,<br>
    - none of the users PI* type not lock,<br>
    - password to the PI* users in exchangeProfile entered correctly,<br>
    - In VA in the JCo RFC Provider I have properly configure: AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER, LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI_SID - from the ABAP I can connect to this programs ID<br>
    - In VA in SLD Data Supplier I have properly configure bookmarks HTTP Settings and CIM Client Generation Settings. CIMClient Test is OK<br>
    <br>
    I do not know what else I can see, what else I have properly configured ... I looked at the notes:: 936093 jak i 721548...<br>
    <br>
    <br>
    2. I can't send data from XI to SLD, ie makes me a system definition in Web As Abap and Web as Java but nothing appear to me in Exchange Infrastructure. Exchange Infrastructure is empty - what is wrong??<br>
    I carried out the recommendation by 764176 and 1031321 notes<br>
    <br>
    I restart below applications (no effect)...<br>
    com.sap.xi.directory (Integration Builder/Configuration)<br>
    com.sap.aii.af.app (Adapter Engine)<br>
    com.sap.xi.rwb (Runtime Workbench)<br>
    com.sap.xi.repository (Integration Builder/Design)<br>
    <br>
    Can I ask for help and guidance in these topics?<br>
    <br>
    Regards<br>
    RP<br>

    I increased logging in the NWA (Configuration -> Log Configuration) - and increased the some things here to log ALL. So that from the NWA (Monitoring -> Logs and Traces) I see a little more information (but does not follow that with which the user is a problem).<br>
    <br>
    Here are some interesting logs ...<br>
    I was most rash or irritation of those that say about the lack of credentials u2013 I must use Viusal Administrator and set good service ...<br>
    <br>
    What do I have done:<br>
    In the Visual Administrator -> Cluster -> Server -> Services -> SLD Data Supplier<br>
    I have set in the HTTP Settings tab the host and port SLD, the user name and password is also entered as it is in the SLD. To be sure, already have set for the user entered here such roles as:<br>
    SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER<br>
    SAP_SLD_GUEST<br>
    SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER<br>
    Maybe we are talking in this place about a different user?<br>
    <br>
    Similarly, when it comes to tab CIM Client Generation Settings - here's all the same thing done. CIMClient test shows that everything is OK.<br>
    When I click the button: This trigger the transfer of data to the SLD gets the message that everything was shipped correctly. Indeed, I received an instance of JAVA in SLD<br>
    Also clicked on this icon: Assign application roles to user group - got information that everything is attached properly.<br>
    <br>
    By ABAP side, the connections: INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, SAPSLDAPI, LCRSAPRFC, AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER and AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER work correctly, ie I can perform the test - which means that programs ID are properly positioned in JCO Provider in VA.<br>
    <br>
    Puzzling is this message:<br>
    The SLD data is inconsistent.<br>
    <br>
    Strange also that the message (from the ABAP everything is available in SMGW no errors):<br>
    Connect to SAP gateway failed<br>
    <br>
    And what is this error:<br>

  • RZ70 Abap to push data to SLD not working

    Hi All,
    Recently for one of the staging system we moved from physical server to VM. Instance number got changed from 01 to 00 - just to keep in sync with other SRM systems. (SAP SRM 7.0).
    Now to push this data to SLD, RZ70 is not working. its spinning for unlimited duration.
    Had a check on SLD_UC and SLDNUC, working fine.
    SAPSLDAPI - working fine
    SLDAPICUST and SLDCHECK - working fine
    Job keeps running which I can see in SM37 and SM66, however for respective WP nothing is getting updated or no change when I check in SM50 specific WP - by double clicking in it. like Roll in, Roll out and memory details nothing is getting changed.
    The program name is : _SLD_ASSOC
    Any one has any idea, what more to try?
    Found this link: however its unanswered :   SAP_SLD_DATA_COLLECT getting hanged
    Regards,
    Haseena

    Hello Gaurav,
    We are higher version of SRM, so note cann't be applied.

  • Tech System in SLD and RZ70 in 4.6c and 4.7 systems

    Hi,
    We have two legacy systems R3 4.6C and R3 4.7 Systems in our landscape and we are using PI 7.1.
    we are setting up configurations for IDOC communications
    1) between 4.7 and PI
    2) between 4.6C and PI
    for registering 4.7 system in SLD, we used RZ70 transaction in 4.7, and the tech system (of type AS ABAP) got created in SLD, so we could proceed with creation of Business system for one of its abap client.
    but when we tried the same thing in 4.6c system, when we tried executing RZ70 in 4.6C system, it says "Transaction RZ70 does not exist".  Since 4.6C does not support rz70, how can we register the corresponding Tech System in PI SLD.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    The ABAP-based SLD data supplier (transaction RZ70) is available for all SAP systems as of SAP Basis release 4.0B.
    For details see here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/EN/11/0dfe55e0c8fc4e910706a47ca6859b/content.htm
    Are you sure you typed in transaction code correctly?
    If everything does not help open a CSN at SMP and in the meantime - as a workaround - you can maintain the SLD manually for that system.

    Volker

  • Using RFC Function Module to send data to NON SAP Application

    Hi friends,
    Please guide me how can I send data from SAP -> Dotnet Applcation using Dotnet Connector through RFC function module from SAP side. In my scenerio, I Run Z transaction  to executte RFC function module which create some data to pass to dotnet connector.
    Regards,
    Rajesh Kumar

    Hi,
    You can make use of Dotnet connector to read the content of SAP RFC .. (eaiest of all)
    The RFC can be executed using connector , and can read the data simultaneously.. u need to code in dotnet for this..
    else create a webservice and read it from dot net ..

  • Getting error while try to send data to matmas05 idoc

    hello frnds,
    i m working on a scenario in which i m sending data from xml file to matmas05 idoc of R/3. here i have done all the required XI settings. at sender side i have used file adapter and at reciever side IDOC Adapter. while i m executing my schenario at that time i m getting green flag into the sxmb_moni transaction but m not able to see any idoc generated at the receiver R/3.
    can anybody tell me that what might be the problem? is it the problem with R/3 receiver or it is the problem with XI configuration itself..
    Regards,
    Hetal

    hi,
    if the flag is green you can check in SMQ1, SMQ2
    for any waiting entries
    I hope you've activated the queues in SXMB_ADM

  • Sending Date value to SAP R/3

    Hi,
        I am trying to send Date value from Text box (javascript) to SAP R/3 thru transaction and BAPI. But it is not accepting it. In SAP it accepting time value but it is not accepting date value. It take default date (current system date).
    But when we give date value directly in transaction it accepts.
    what is the problem. how to solve it?
    Regards,
    Senthil

    Your text box is a string.  If you assign it to a Local (or Transaction) Property of type DateTime, xMII may properly interpret it and allow the DateTime value to be populated.  However when you try to map it to SAP, it will most likely fail as it is of datatype DateTime (which is actually xml datetime).  You can assign the text box value to a Local Property with datatype String and format it from there.  Or if your Local Property is correctly interpreting the string from the text box and is updated, then you can explicitly convert from xml datetime to string type.
    functions which might be of interest or applicable are:
    datefromxmlformat
    dateformat
    stringpart

  • Problem in sending data to BW through XI

    Hi all,
    I am using "How to..push data to BW from XI".
    There a javascript code is given for sending data to BW using XI.
    But when I use that code for sending XML file it is showing a java script error:"Automation server can't create object".
    I think it has something to do with ADODB.Stream object.
    As given in the microsoft document I have deleted the registry entry which disables ActiveX component ADODB.Stream object.
    Even then it is showing the same error.
    Can someone figure out what is the problem.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Anand

    Hi Anand,
            Sure, first i tried to send hardcoded data by using a report in bw, and refering the classes from transaction sproxy.
    The code was:
    REPORT  ZZ_TEST_XI_POC.
    *& Report  ZZ_TEST_XI_POC
    *& start of code by Anirban Ghatak , 14/03/06
    *& This Report will send data to sap xi
    *& start of code by Anirban Ghatak , 14/03/06
    DATA prxy TYPE REF TO ZPUSHCO_PROXY_INTERFACE_OB.
    CREATE OBJECT prxy.
    DATA it TYPE  ZPUSHPUSH_TABLE1.
    TRY.
        it-PUSH_TABLE-EMP_NO = 'Anirban'.
        it-PUSH_TABLE-EMP_NAME = '393'.
        it-PUSH_TABLE-DEPARTMENT_NAME = 'NetWeaver'.
        CALL METHOD prxy->execute_asynchronous
          EXPORTING
            output = it.
         commit work.
      CATCH cx_ai_system_fault .
        DATA fault TYPE REF TO cx_ai_system_fault .
        CREATE OBJECT fault.
        WRITE :/ fault->errortext.
    ENDTRY.
    *& End of code by Anirban Ghatak , 14/03/06
    then execute it , this sends data to xi.
    Refer /people/ravikumar.allampallam/blog/2005/03/14/abap-proxies-in-xiclient-proxy
    this can send data from bw to xi.
    Try have a look and see if you can replicate, actually mine is a POC so i have a little bit of flexibility but if you are working on a live devlopement reconsider the solution.
    Anirban.

  • I want to send data from One server to another

    Hi all,
    My requirement to send data from one server's  application server path(data in one directory in Al11 of the source server) to another server's application server(TO another directory in Al11 transaction of the destination server).
    What are all the ways to achieve this task.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Raja

    While the FTP option mentioned above is workable, both servers should have some form of FTP service running with reference to this solution.
    I suggest two more options, just to give you an idea. I am not getting into details as it is important to get the big picture first before working on details.
    1: Through RFC destinations:
    You can define two RFc destinations, each pointing to the specific application server. Assuming the server names are SOURCE and TARGET, you can have two RFC destinations where you differentiate the servers by specifying the host name or IP address.
    Once the destinations are defined, you need to develop two RFC enabled function module, one will be used to read the file and return it in form of internal table. The other will be get the internal table as input and should save it on server (using abap commands open dataset etc.)
    Now you can have an ABAP program where you first call the function which is reading the file. In call function you mention the RFC destination of source server.
    Once the file is read, you than call the second function module with destination to target server and save the internal table to a file.
    2: Through Background job programming
    While scheduling a background job, you can specify target system which forces the background job to run on that target application server. The basic idea here is to have two abap programs, one would be used to read file and export it to database table like INDX (we can call it ZPRG1), the other will import from the table INDX and write it as a file (we can call it ZPRG2).
    Now you can define a job through SM36, using ZPRG1 as program, and target system as the first application server. This job you can schedule to run periodically.
    Also define a second job through SM36, using ZPRG2 as program and target system as the second application server. For this job, the starting condition you can put as ‘After completion of job1’.
    Another method one can be by using FMs used in tcode SM49 but for that I think your sysadmin might have to create a batch file/script first. Which you can later call from ABAP.
    Cheers.

    Hi,
    check this link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/21/e9c97ceb1911d6b2ea00508b6b8a93/content.htm
    this is for processing inbound IDOc through XML-HTTP(Inbound) port
    like this there should be an option for reading files placed by HTTP_POST.
    in SICF transaction there should be a service to do that.
    defaulthost -> sap-> xi-> adapter_plain. i know you don't have XI in your landscape but this is the component which be responsble for receving messages over HTTP_POST.
    look for a program which can access messages from there.
    please check with your basis team

  • Deadlock issue while sending data from PI to JDBC !!!

    Hi All,
    We are getting below error while sending data from PI to JDBC (Database).
    Error - JDBC message processing failed; reason Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'store_order_details' (structure 'Order_details_Statement'): com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Transaction (Process ID 61) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.
    This is happening when more than one PI message is trying to deliver data at the same time to database.
    Can anyone let us know the root cause of this issue and how we can rectify this.
    Is there some setting which we can use to do parallel processing as Delivering one message at a time to database is causing performance issues & taking lot of time.
    Thanks
    Neha Verma

    Hello Neha,
    Strange but can please get below information.
    Please check with the DB admin about if the user is getting locked or is there any hanging threads related to user.
    Also confirm with DB admin if the exclusive lock is on table or on the row when you try insertign or updating information.
    You can share the user from the receiver channel.

  • Cannot Lock and Send data to an Essbase cube

    Hi all,
    One of our customer is executing a Macro script to lock and send data to the essbase cube from an excel sheet.
    They reported that in several cases where users will submit their data, and later discover that their changes are not in Essbase.
    The calls to EssVRetrieve (to lock the blocks) and EssVSendData are both returning successfully and there is no error message received while executing the above macros.
    I reviewed the application log file and found the following message:
    [Mon Nov 24 18:59:43 2008]Local/Applicn///Warning(1080014)
    Transaction [ 0xd801e0( 0x492b4bb0.0x45560 ) ] aborted due to status [1014031].
    I analysed the above message and found the user is trying to lock the database when already a lock has been applied to it and some operation is being performed on it. Because of that the transaction has been aborted. But customer says no concurrent operation is being performed at that time.
    Can anyone help me in this regard.
    Thanks,
    Raja

    The error message for error 1014031 is 'Essbase could not get a lock in the specified time.' The first thought I have is that perhaps some user/s have the 'Update Mode' option set in their Essbase Options and thus, when they are retrieving data, they are inadvertantly locking the data blocks. If that is the case, you will probably see this issue sporadically as the locks are automatically released when the user disconnects from Essbase.
    To make it stop, you will have to go to every user's desktop and make sure they have that Essbase Option turned off. Further, you will have to look at any worksheets they may use that may have an Essbase Option name stored on it. The range name is stored as a string and includes a setting for update mode. Here is a sample that I created for this post where I first turned 'on' update mode and then turned 'off' update mode:
    A1100000001121000000001100120_01-0000
    A1100000000121000000001100120_01-0000
    Note the 11th character in the first string is '1' which indicates that Update Mode is 'on'; in the second string, it is 'off'.
    This behavior, particularly with update mode, is the only one of the behaviors that I disliked in Excel and pushed me to design our Dodeca product. In Dodeca, the administrator controls all Essbase options and can either set individual options to the value they want or they can allow the user to choose their own options. Most of our customers do not allow the user to set update mode.

  • Sending data from R/3 to XI in real time

    Hi All,
         How do u send data from R3 to XI in real time??
         out of 3 methods which method do we use frequently(exe prog,message cont,chan pointer).
      Do we send master data to XI in real time at all??
       How will the transaction data sent??,please explain.
    thanks in advance
    srinivas.

    Srinivas,
    whether to send data to XI or collect them in the source system and send them once all , depends on your business needs. There are situations, where this is needed instatly - for example synchronous scenario. User worx in one application and needs to receive information from another one - this is done "in real time". But if u want to use XI for some kind of data replication, u can do it for example just once a day.
    >>which method of 3??
    Depends on your needs. How would you use exe prog for r/3 data sending? It can't be done...
    >>master data replication
    well, master data are exactly the thing, which is not necesserily replicated in "real time". But it depends...
    Please, place your problem in more detail..  These are very generic questions..
