Pbm with document name while generating URL for created document

Hi Gurus, 
 
When we upload a document and generate the URL for that document, and then while we paste the same in the explorer window to access it, I was able to see the dialog asking me whether to save or open the document with the actual document name. 
 
But, when I create a document using the template which we uploaded in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN, and then generate the URL for that document, and then when I paste it in the explorer window to access it, the dialog now asks me to save or open the document, but it is not with the name of the actual document, but with the name of the template. e.g Business_Blueprint_template. 
 
Can anyone say why such a problem? and how to solve it.

so i cal slect the doc and right clcik onit and select the SEND URL....so tha it gives url .
BUT my req is : whenever a doc is created my wrokflow starts from BADI......here inthis BADI...itself I want to find the URL foe the document which is being created now.??

Deadlock with thread issues while generating reports with Crystal Report XI

We are facing deadlock with thread issues while generating report with Crystal Report XI
Version Number is 11.0 and the database used is Oracle
In the log file on line number 74350 by 2008/12/16 13:35:54 there is a dead lock with Thread: u20184u2019 is waiting to acquire lock for 'com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.av@15214b9' which is held by the Thread: '0'.
And a dead lock with Thread: u20180u2019 is waiting to acquire lock for 'com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.av@15214b9' which is held by the Thread: '4'.
Exactly after 10 minutes we can see the thread 4 and 0 are declared as STUCK by 2008/12/16 13:45:54 .
Is this an existing issue with Crystal Report?
Is there some solution for this problem?

I'll clarify.
You have two threads, both entering ReportClientDocument.open(...) method.
Thread 4 is waiting to acquire 'com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.av@15214b9'
Thread 0 is waiting to acquire ''com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.av@12e0415'
So I'm thinking ??? are they the same objects?
My specific question concerning the ReportClientDocument is that both are calling open - i.e., trying to open a new report. You wouldn't be trying to open different reports using the same ReportClientDocument - so was wondering if you've cached the RCD and trying to open two different reports at the same time on the same instance via different threads.
You'd normally tie a ReportClientDocument instance to a HTTP Session, to ensure each user gets their own copy.

Need help
I am trying to transfer F8 to GTS 10.1 and getting following message in GTS Transfer log for export:
Customs document type cannot be determined for external document Type F8
New implementation
GTS 10.1 running with SP 12
ECC side Plug-In settings are fine. BAdi is Active.(There is no document mapping for F8/CUSDEC as it is not required in 10.1)
GTS side configurations are also fine. Checked several times by 4 sets of eyes!!
(Include general settings configurations, Customs communication configurations:)
(Defining technical medium, conditions/output parameters, defining messages for communication process,
defining determination for activity sequence and control settings for communication process)
Despite this I am not able to trnasfer F8 successfully
Can someone throw some light on this issue please?

1) Legal regulation is activated. - Yes Activated
2) Process template assigned to the legal regulation - Yes Assigned
3) Activity Sequence determination - Yes done
4) Open the activity sequence in under Control settings for Communication processes and check if there is a document type assigned to it. Table- /SAPSLL/TLEPAF - Yes done.
It is really puzzling.

Normally, you post a reversing document in the same period you posted the original document. The period of the original document must be open to post a reversing document. If the period is not open, you can overwrite the posting date field with a date in an open period, such as the current period.

Yes, that can be done. But note that all administrators will have the same right to print, so you need to make sure the users are not administrators. You can include a macro to disable printing, but if the users disable macro, they can print the documents.
Hence, there is no foolproof way to prevent printing documents. If you still need a foolproof security, PDF format provides password based security (viewing doesn't require a password) that can be implemented to prevent the document from printing,
which doesn't require any special scripts and is tough.

SAS Token failed with 403 error while generating for each request using ARR module

Hi,
We are doing an e-Learning application, which plays a course on the browser (inside a div control). The course contains list of static contents such as html, js, css etc., and media files .mp4. We are hosting the static contents (.html, .js, .css etc) into
Azure blob storage and media files into Media Service and CDN.
When user triggers to take a course, the browser first request the Web Role with landing page (Ex: FirstPage.html) and with Course Unique Id - Ex:
https://cloudservice1.cloudapp.net/course/courseid/firstpage.html. We have written a custom ARR Module (http://www.iis.net/learn/extensions/url-rewrite-module/developing-a-custom-rewrite-provider-for-url-rewrite-module),
which receives the request, parse it and generate blob storage url with SAS token using C# code for each file. Then route to blob storage. (we have already passing storage account details to ARR Module using Web.config)
For single user, the course plays fine. But we do the load testing with > 400 user load (with 5 instances), we are getting many 403 errors (and not all files). If the load is less than 200, we don’t get such issue.
Also, we are using REST code to generate the SAS token. When the SAS token expiration time extending more than 60 min, getting error “Access without signed identifier cannot have time window more than 1 hour”. As the code is exist in ARR Module, unable to
refer the Storage Client assembly. This 60 min time interval is for each file request – so there could not be an issue on expiration, but feeling this might be an issue?
Can you please point me what could be the issue and how to solve this. Is the ARR Module caching the SAS token and providing the same even after the expiration time?

Hi,
I have created a survey (using the survey suite). I have saved and activated the survey and now I want to generate a URL for the survey. In the pop up that appears I have to fill in a "get file" and a "Send file". What should be filled in here? Are there any other steps that need to be done before a URL can be generated?

In the Survey Suite, you have a Repository Custuminzing Bottom (My Systen is down to check the exact name), there you have to create a XML's Parameter, depending if you are going to wotk with HTTP or HTTPS.
You have to download one of the standard files, and with a XML editor, you can create a new one with your server URL.
When my system goes uo, o tell you more detail.

Getting Error of Runtime Exceeded while generating OTF for PDF in smartform.

I am getting a error of runtime exceeded while generating OTF file for PDF in smartform through FM. The report is taking too much time before giving the output...and most of the time going to dump saying report has exceeded the runtime. All is working well till the Smartform FM reached. I debugged this FM and found that the TABLES parameter is having problem, may be there are too many tables in that parameter.Please help. Below is the code-

Yes as Eltan says you need to consider there are two blocks of abap program:
- the first one is the driver program (but it seems there's no problem here because it called the smartform quickly)
- the second one is inside the smartform (It's possible to write abap routine in the smartform), and it seems the problem could be here
The variable c_form_name has the name of the smartform, you can manage it by transaction SMARTFORMS
but now it's not possible to say you why the print takes too long time, you need to do a trace

In my WebDynpro Application, i have a EXCEL file ("Test.xls") and it is kept in the below mentioned location.
Project->src->mimes->Components-><my component>
This is the code i have used to generate URL.
IWDWebResource webRes = WDWebResource.getWebResource(wdComponentAPI.getDeployableObjectPart(), WDWebResourceType.XLS, "Test.xls");

i have assigned the URL to context element which in turn is assigned to LinkToURL UI element.
I always get this error "Invalid URL=/webdynpro/resources/local/RigsOnMove/Components/ndc.maintain_rigmove.MaintainRigMoveComp/Test.xls".
Please let me know your solution(s) to the above mentioned issue/problem.

your code seems to be correct! Probabily your file is test.xls (NOT Test.xls with the first letter in uppercase).
Try to write:
IWDWebResource webRes = WDWebResource.getWebResource(wdComponentAPI.getDeployableObjectPart(), WDWebResourceType.XLS, "test.xls");

How to get "Synchronize with database" to compare/generate changes for database 'contexts'?

Using SDDM 3.3.
How does one get to synchronise changes/differences in 'contexts' (defined in physical model - Oracle DB)?
I have tried to synchronize both ways, i.e. model to db and db to model, but never does it show the DDL necessary to create the missing context.
Yes, Context is selected/ticked under preferences for Oracle DB synchronization preferences.

If I use the "generate DDL" option from the toolbar, it does generate DDL for the context I have in the physical model. I can select/deselect them in the DDL Generation Options window.
Why then would it not generate DDL when comparing the model with the database, i.e. using the "synchronise data dictionary to model" option? It successfully generates a 'patch'/change script for tables, views, packages, etc.?

Security for creating documents.

Hello Folks,
I have a question on security/authorization for creating/accessing documents on the Bex Query level? I would like to restrict a set of users to create/view/delete documents and another set of users to just view the documents and not create/delete them. But currently on our system, anyone can create documents at the query level even if the Info-objects are not configured to be document relevant.
I played around with S_BDS_D* and S_BDS_DS* and none of them fetched me this functionality. Any ideas and thoughts would be appreciated.
