PCA report rolling figure

we are extending S_alr_87013326  and create a new ABAP report to include  rolling 6 months of actual number.
can we use GRR3 or report painter, which library is S_alr_87013326 belonging to?
if we use ABAP code, then which table we should use to get rolling 6 month figure?

please don't create a new ABAP report
instead copy the report/form to a customer report/form and extend the fields there
transaction GRR3 is for viewing reports
you can also execute them here, but you do this trough report groups (tc GR55)
maintanance for report painter reports is GRR2, for report writer reports GR32, for drill down reports (your case) KE82

  • Report painter.....PCA reports & historical data issue

    I need to create a report painter PCA report for P&L that will do the foll:
    --> Consolidated P&L for 2 company codes
    --> Company code 1 - YTD figures to include full year
    --> Company code 2 - YTD numbers to include only 2nd half year as company 2 was acquired in middle of year
    Problem is we are migrating the historical data for the last two years. I do not want the report to pick up this as part of the report.

  • PCA Report Query

    Hello Experts
    The PCA report (KE30) in our systems is only showing the Sales and the Standard cost of the Products. I want to allocate my Total Cost of different cost objects to all the products shown by the PCA report against the sales figure, rather than the standard cost. Is it Possible through PCA Report, If yes, Than how?

    Hi Prashant,
    KE30 is not a PCA report it is a COPA report to analyse the contribution margin, Sales oriented point of view.
    Costs are allocated to production order of a product and this is reflected in fi & co after period end process or settlement of the PO.
    you can see the cost allocted to the production order in CO03 (COR3 for process order), in menu goto>costs>analysis.

  • GL not appearing in PCA report S_ALR_87013336

    Dear Experts,
    For acct XXXX, there's balance & we can view line item thru FI (tcode: FBL4N). We can see PC been assigned to those line items, but the GL XXXX not reflecting in PCA report (tcode S_ALR_87013336).
    GL XXXX is a Balance Sheet GL (not a Reconciliation GL). This GL is not added to 3KEH. There are other GLs too, which are not added to 3KEH, but still those are appearing in PCA report S_ALR)87013336.
    If you can please advice about this discrepancy.

    After adding 'trip type expenses in the layout' in the layout, save the layout as a variant and give it a name.
    Next time when you run the report, put that variant and then run
    Values will come

  • Statistic report with figures that will not change when rerun months later

    Hi,
    Is there any good practices that we can follow to create statistic reports with figures that will not change even when rerun after few months later?
    My scenario is my statistic report is generated based on data that is "alive" which means the record will get change after a period of time. So, if you generate the statistic report in for January 2006 in the month of January and regenerate in May for the January 2006 statistic, the figure is different. But what I want is to be able to get the same figures.
    I know in this case looks like we need some sort of summary tables, so posting this to get advice on the best way to design such summary tables. Please comment if there is other ways of doing it.
    Summary tables may work for statistic report, but how to support detail report listing where the records are required to be the same when it was generated few months ago.

    What happens, when you execute a report today is the following: a select statement is fired at the data base and the result set is displayed in the report. The data can change after the moment you launched your report. What you could do to keep the result set the same, is implementing a user parameter that fills your date discriminator.

  • Currency difference in PCA reports

    Dear All,
    I am facing an issue in PCA report. When I run t code: S_ALR_87013326 for a particular profit center values are showing in the PrCt currency ie. SAR. Later, if I want to check the company code currency (e.e. EGP) by selecting currency translation and select EGP as currency and choose "default for drill down report. Here the value is showing as below:
    Later, come back and check for actual line items, the value is showing different as below:
    What I have observed is, I have checked the currency settings. Till 20.05.2014, currency translations was 1 SAR to 1.86 EGP. From 23.05.2014, we have changed the exchange rate as 1 SAR = 1.90 EGP. Today, I checked the profit center report for March 2014, it is converting the local currency (EGP) value with today's currency exchange rate i.e. 1.90. Actually it should be calculated based on 1.86.
    How to achieve the above scenario?

    Hi Ajay,
    Actually, when we check the report, initially values are in SAR. Later, when the user going for currency translation as shown in the below and select the local currency in EGP and choose "Default to drill down reporting" value is showing is converted with the today's rate i.e. 1.90 and the value is 76,612.90.
    But when I come back and double click on the item to check actual line item with "In company local currency" from change layout, value is showing only EGP75,000.
    Here, client wants when he checks with the currency translation as shown below, the value the value of SAR40,322.58 should be consider the exchange rate 1.86 (which was there at the time of posting the transaction in the month of March 2014). But its considering the exchange rate as 1.90 which is for today's rate.
    How to achieve this?

  • Reconcilation Accounts are not updating in KE80 PCA-Report

    Hi,
    i have executed all balance carry forward to PCA transactions,Still the reconcilation accounts balances are not updating in the KE80-PCA report.I have maintained all reconcilation accounts in 3KEH transaction.Is this the reason,to not update the reconcilation balances in the PCA report?

    Hello,
    There is no need to maintain the reconciliation accounts in 3KEH.
    You only need to maintain the additional balance sheet accounts in 3KEH.
    If you further interested to determine on various level, you can write the PCA determination in 3KEI
    Please remove reconciliation accounts from 3KEH.
    Execute F.5D (Balance Sheet Adjustment)
    Execure 1KEH, 1KEK, 1KEI and 1KEJ reports. (Make sure that you have removed test runs)
    Useful transaction code is KE5T, where you can see the difference between FI and PCA

    As far as i know COPA is config at a operating concern level but the reporting can be done at company code or even a product or customer of a company code.
    PCA is more at a controlling area level.

    So the Cunsumption account hit the Profit center.
    If i see the GL document profit center assigned at line item, but i couldnot able to view the PCA report for Balance sheet account

    We are in ECC 6 and New GL is not activated.
    Clssic PCA maintained PC in 3KEH.
    Assigned PC in Material Master  consumption entry   Consumption (P&L) to Inventory (B/S)
    Consumption (P&L) updated with Profit center and PCA document created
    Inventory (B/S) line updated with Profit center but PCA document was not created.

  • Classic PCA reports in New GL environment.

    Hi,
    We have now implemented New GL.  Also applied EHP3 .  In EHP3 enviornment, there is a facility by which we can convert classic PCA reports (report tree : KE5A) into new GL, that is, practically changing the tables from GLPCT to FAGLFLEXT.  This helps us in not re-creating those reports.
    I have converted two reports into the New Tables.  But, I am not able to see these reports seperately.  That is, classic PCA reports can be accessed through KE5A transaction. What about these convered reports ?
    Please advice me how to access these reports (New GL converted reports).  Is there any transaction code like KE5A?
    Till, classic PCA is deactivated, both will run parallelly.

    Hi,
    old PCA report painter reports can be migrated to NewGL reports under certain circumstances (see SAPNET note 1555535 for details).
    As the NewGL PC reporting bases on the data available in the new GL tables FAGLFLEX* I think that you will miss some infos in NewGL PC reporting compared to infos available in classic PCA reporting (eg object type / object class).
    Nevertheless it is possible to add fields toFAGLFLEX* but I doubt that this will be helpful in your case.

    You could try an SAP query based on table GLPCA for basic information on sales order, material, value customer etc. For additional information, you could add on relevant table or extra fields to get your information. Bear in mind, since this accesses transaction data, this could take a long time. Suggest to try in production. If you have frequent production copy being made , you could try it out there.

  • Exporting PCA Reports to Excel

    This question is in regards to the report: PCA Report Profit Center Grp: Plan/Actual/Variance - Tcode S_ALR_87013326.
    When exporting this report to a spreadsheet I'm getting different results in my development environment vs. my production environment.  In development the export moves the data into Excel as expected.  In production when I go to export to a spreadsheet my list object goes to SAPoffice.  Any feedback on what controls this behavior would be greatly appreciated.  My thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi Paul,
    First you need to find out which report group your report is using. You can find this in GRR2. Then go to GR55 and execute the report group.On the report seection screen: for profit center enter 8217320, then go to Environment - Options - Office Integration - excel.
    This should solve the issue.

  • PCA report can't include customized library

    I want to create PCA report and execute under KE80
    I use GR21 to create a libray Z80 by copying standard library 8A0. in KE84, how can I create form under Z80 library , so I can create PCA report under Z80 library, I just don't want create customized report under standard library? thanks

    Libriaries are used for ReportPainter/ReportWriter reports (RPRW) TC GRR2 and GR32 respectivelly.
    KE8... transactions are intended for Drilldown reports where you don't use a library,
    Instead you have a Characteristic list to choose from and I don't know if you can add new ones.

  • PCA report drill down

    Hi,
    When I drilldown PCA report S_ALR_87013343 to look up the original document, it takes me to PCA_FB03 transaction and gives an error "Enter Document Number". I imported all the reports and generated them again. Still the problem continues. What could be the problem?

    Hi,
    This report displays receivables balances as per the reconciliation account. For reconciliation accounts, no line item display will be selected in GL Master. I think probably, because of that this report is asking to enter document number.

  • Issue with Bex report - key Figures not populating correctly.

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue with a Bex report. There are three key figures of data type DATE having "Dec - Counter or amount field with comma and sign" datatype. After executing the query, in the report, for some sales documents the key figure fields are coming as 'X' and rest others are coming correctly in the date format as mm\dd\yyyy.
    When i check in the cube, these key figures shows values in decimal format and not in date format. The conversion is happening during execution.
    Pleas show me some light on how to identify the cause of getting 'X' for some Sales documents in the report eventhough some are coming correctly.

    Hi,
    The infobject has been defined with datatype "DATE" only. It has also been mapped from datasource to infocube correctly as these key figures are populating correctly for some of the sales documents in the report. It is not like that for all the sales documents the key figures are not converting properly.
    Some Sales documents are not converting into the date fields but for some conversion happens properly in the BEx report. This is the issue.
    Please guide accordingly.
