PCs not showing in Collection/Queries Config Manager 2012 R2 - Direct Rule

Hello,
I have been creating some collections and queries using a direct rule or manual entry of the device and the PC is not showing in the collection. 
Example:  Created collection for a .NET 4.5.2 install that I rolled out.  Manually added the devices that need the application and of the 40 PCs 2 or 3 will not appear in the collection, thus they are not getting the software push.  The PCs
that are not showing up are pinging able and I can RDP into them just fine.  Config Manager shows they have the Client, are active and getting policy requests.  
I thought maybe it there was an issue with the collection I was creating but I tried adding the same PCs to other collections and they do not appear in those collections either.
I did a manual query as well with the same results, the same PCs I try to add to the collections are not showing in my query even though they are hard coded in.

I deleted the collection for our "Insurance Department" which the suspect PCs were in.  I no longer needed the Insurance collection so I deleted that just to see if that was limiting the .NET collection.  Now those PCs are showing in
the ".NET 4.5.2" collection.   
That is good and everything but going forward I will need to have a collection for the "Insurance Department" that will be based on a query that looks for our Insurance Application in Installed Applications64.  How can I prevent this new collection
from limiting any PC in that collection from being put into other Software Install collections?

    I am having a problem pusing out the config Manager 2012 r2 console with The App-V Management infrastructure.

    Has anyone seen this issue and if so what can i do to resolve. I am not seeing any errors in the event logs either. I tried running a procmon and saw nothing standing out as the culprit. all the prereqs are installed.

  • Config Manager 2012 R2 Update Failed - Now What?

    Starting Environment:
    Windows Server 2012 VM
    Configuration Manager 2012 CU1
    SQL Server 2012 Enterprise SP1 installed on a separate 2 node cluster 
    We have been running this setup for Config Manager 2012 CU1 for about a year now with no issues at all.  In an effort to deploy Windows 8.1 I ran the Configuration Manager 2012 R2 Update.  The update failed halfway through.  From the ConfigMgrSetup.log
    it looks like it wasn't able to connect to the database and this is why the update failed. Problem is after the install failed I am no longer able to connect to the database when opening the CM console.  I get the "Configuration Manager cannot connect
    to the site" message.  Here is the error from the SMSAdminUI.log:

    I have tried running the R2 update again but am now faced with the following 2 failures during run check:
    Current SUM configuration uses virtual locations for some of the active SUPs. Please remove any virtual locations from the existing SUM configuration.
    There is an active source hierarchy configured for migration. Please stop data gathering for each source site in the source hierarchy.
    I do not know how I can fix these errors without being able to connect through the console.  
    Does anyone have any ideas on how I can reconnect the console to the database and eventually successfully run the R2 update?
    Database itself seems fine. No errors.  Database mounts fine.

  • Manually Installed Agent is not showing up in the Operations Manager Console Under Pending Management.

    I submitted this question because I'm a bit stuck with SCOM 2012 R2, I'll try to explain briefly what is happening right now in my environment,  we have a DEV SCOM Deployment in which all the roles are installed in a single server, this servers is a
    VMware machine running Windows Server 2008R2.
    The Initial installation of the SCOM Operations Manager and all the other components was not performed by me but by a co-worker, unfortunately he doesn't remember much about the initial configuration. So i had to pickup where he left things about a year
    ago, neither of us are SCOM experts, and we have almost no previous experience with previous versions of this application.
    Now the problem that I'm facing is the following, all the DEV Servers are Domain Controllers and one of the indication within the "Guide for System Center Management Pack for Active Directory for Operations Manager 2012" states the following

    After my first review I notice that our servers were being monitor by agent-less mode and given the above statement from the Operations Guide the only way that we could ever get those domain controllers monitor by SCOM would be by installing the agent on
    each server, so I read somewhere (Can't remember where) that in order to install the agents in all the servers I should first remove them from the Agent-less node, which I did. Then I tried to use the discovery wizard to get the agent install in all of them
    but it didn't matter how many times I try the servers never show up.
    I read in a Tech Net Article that you had to modify the security settings so SCOM would let me decide if I wanted to approve it or not.

    I performed the suggested steps from the article but still the servers were not showing up, not even if I run the Discovery wizard, so I decided to go and perform the installation manually in a couple of servers I was able to install the agent in one of
    the Domain Controllers, I configured the agent to use a service account that has Domain Admin rights. An hour after I installed the agent I went back to the Operations Console Manager and I check under Pending Action but the Server was not showing up. So i
    went back to the Internet to try to find out if someone else had experience the same problem, and in one website some mentioned that if the servers were not showing up it was probably because they were still register in the SCOM Database, now I have no idea
    of how i can check that or How can i remove them from there to have them available again, but what troubles me the most is that even after i installed the agent manually the server were not being recognize.

    Not sure if this is related to the problem that I'm facing right now, but , I make sure that the RPC Services were running and also the related dependencies too. There's no Firewall enable in any of the servers and DNS seems to be working properly.
    Ports 135 / 5723 are open and listening so since I ran out of ideas, I would like to know if some of the experts in this field could perhaps give me some guidelines.
    There's one caveat that I haven't mention yet and that is related to SQL, I checked and my user just has read access to SQL i'm not sure if that could affect this but i think is worth mentioning.
    My main goal is to have all the servers showing up in the Operations Manager Console.

    So you can ping and nslookup from your ms to these agents and vice versa right?  I wouldn't do a manual install, I would push the agent from the management server.  You can uninstall the agent manually, or use cleanmom to get rid of them.  Then
    do an install from the console.  When you initiate the install from the console (management server), should it run into any issues it will dump out an error which will give you an idea of where the problem may be.

  • Third party Certificate not showing up in SQL configuration manager drop down box

    Hi,
    I have an SQL instance that needs to use a third party SSL certificate for all communications to that SQL instance. I have installed my third party certificate via MMC and it is showing under the Personal Folder.
    However, when i go into the SQL configuration manager and right click the instance name > Properties > Certificates, it is not showing in the drop down box.
    I am currently using MS SQL Server 2008 R2, which is installed on Windows Server 2012.

    If the certificate cannot be used for SQL Server and hence will not be visible in SQL Configuration manager. Check the validity of the installed certificate. It may not has the correct DNS name.
    I suggest you request a new third party certificate from the vendor with the correct DNS name. Install it on SQL Server environment, then you should see certificate form the configuration manager dropdown box.

  • Labels Not Showing Up Correctly in Workflow Manager Web Page

    I have installed the Workflow Server 2.6.3 on Red Hat 7.2 against the Oracle 10g database. When I go to the Workflow Manager web page and login, all the labels appear between brackets "[]" and have incorrect names such as the following:
    WF_WORKFLOW_TITLE
    WFA_WTITLE
    OPEN_NOTIFICATIONS
    WFA_FINDTITLE
    WFRTG_FIND_TITLE
    etc......
    I ran the Configuration Assistant again and this didn't solve the problem and I've also verified that the mappings in the server configuration file are correct for OA_JAVA, OA_DOC, OA_MEDIA. Looked through workflow installation log and no errors appear. I installed the web server (Oracle Apache Standalone downloaded from OTN in a separate Oracle Home). Any ideas how to fix these incorrect labels or why they're not showing up correctly??

    Hi,
    I've not seen the problem myself, but it seems that the language has not created the correct lookups in the WF_RESOURCES table.
    If you look for a name of (for example) 'OPEN_NOTIFICATIONS', there should be an entry for the language you are using (US) which translates the prompt for you. If it's not there then you will probably need to add a language through the installer - I don't think there is a SQL file that you can just run to do it. Alternatively, install it in a new environment and then just extract the resources you need from that system and insert them into this one.

  • Certain PR is not showing in collective release ME55.

    Dear Experts
    My clients is experiencing one issue at the time of collective release of PR using T. Code ME55. Certain PR is not showing at the time of  executing  with  giving required input Release group and release code, however if the execution is done by giving input  Release group, release code and Purchase Requisition the same document is showing. can any one tell me the possible reason for the same. Why the PR is not displaying for release using release code and release group in ME55.
    Below Investigation has been done.
    1. For single line item single PR is created  through PS route using T.Code CJ20N.
    2. Account assignment for the PR is "Q" Project Make to Order.
    3. Line item not deleted for the same PR.
    4. Status showing as 03 In Release (In Status tab).
    5. in "Quantities/Dates" tab Closed check box in not activated.

    Hi Dev,
    By default system is taking "Sort Indicator 1" Sorting by Purchase requisition number & item. with the combination of  Release Code & Release Group.
    I have tried with giving input  Release Code, Release Group & Purchase Requisition Number
    10032658 & 10034951after executing the sysem is showing Only one PR Number i.e 10032658  with 2 line item.
    Here system is showing duplicate entry for PR. 10032658 of the first line item and ignoring to display the 10034951 details.
    Final conclusion is that, system is not showing last PR Number. Instead of that 2nd last PR is displaying with duplicate entry.Please see the screenshot.
    1. PR Number : 10034951 Delivery date is 30.08.2014 (Which is not Showing in ME55).
    1. PR Numebr:   10032658 Delivery date is 10.07.2015 (Which is showing in ME55)

  • Add table list does not show database view in Configuration Manager

    I am trying to add a database view in the table tab of the configuration manager. The view does not show up in the list of available tables in WCM 11.1.1.6 version. This is possible in the 11.1.1.4 version. Anyone else facing this issue?

    I think what is being asked is "How do I expose a database view as a schema table in Configuration Manager?"
    This is accomplished by creating a database view within the WCC database schema (and with the WCC schema user as the view owner). The view then will appear as a table in the "table" tab in Configuration Manager.
    One caveat in 11g is that the user created by RCU does not have any privileges to read/create views in its own schema. You may need to grant privileges to views for the WCC schema user before this will work.

    I've set the interaction mode of my form to non-blocking. I then ran a long query which takes about 5 minutes to display the results. The Cancel Query popup that everyone is talking about is still not showing.
    What should my settings be to make the Cancel Query dialog popup? My client wants to have the option to cancel a query while it is still processing.
    I'm using Oracle Forms 9.0.4.0.10 and Oracle Database 10g.
    Any help with regards to this will be highly appreciated.

    We have one central site server and three primary site servers in SCCM 2007 and completed the SCCM 2012 migration as single hierarchy.
    During the migration, We have configured SCCM 2007 Central site server as source hierarchy for data gathering process and configured the "Enable distribution-point sharing for this source site" to make SCCM 2007 distribution points
    as SCCM 2012 content shares to serve SCCM 2012 migrated clients. Now we are facing a problem that one of the primary site server's data gathering process did not gather SCCM 2007 DPs even though we configured "Enable distribution-point sharing for this
    source site" but data gathering process is completing successfully.
    Is anyone have idea, why these SCCM 2007 DPs did not appearing as SCCM 2012 content shares under "Shared Distribution Points"

    Earlier all the shared DPs are showing under  Shared Distribution Points ? Or since starting itself these DPs are not showing down? Have you checked migmctrl.log for some clue?
