PCUI:Adding FIELD(Rejection code)

I am very new to PCUI.
My Client has copied and named application ZCRMD_BUS2000120 using for Sales order Return.
Client is asking for adding a drop down box to be added to select one value that gives them some kind of information.
now i had added trace paramter on my user id and i can see all the information related to filed group,structure etc.
what i have is OIC2 and ODC1.
ODC1 has Products,Status,DocumentFlow,ChangeHistory Tab.
Now how where to add this FIELD AND HOW TO.
Can you guys please gice me Step by Procedure.

Is it a standard field already existing in the structure of that field group? If it is a customized field you need to write the code in relevant MAC.
if that is not the case check in the read method of that particular MAC, you would see if that value is getting saved or not.

Advanced Search Help in PCUI & adding fields to SRES screen structures

I have linked the application COMM_IBASE to the POST_CODE1 field in CRMM_ACCOUNT (SRES area - field group ACC_SRES_CITY). When the user clicks the drop-down icon next to the post code field, a new window opens which shows COMM_IBASE.
We use our IBase to hold locations/addresses.
Is it possible to set up the system such that on selection of an IBase component, relevant address fields of that component are sent back to corresponding fields in the calling application, CRMM_ACCOUNT? Namely, Post code, street, city, country, region? I think my problem might be that these fields are not available in the screen structure of the COMM_IBASE Search Results area (CRMT_BSP_IBASE_RESLIST). How should you go about extending this structure? I can't see how it can be done using the EEW in the way you would extend, say, a service order.
I have the cookbook in front of me, but am finding sections 6.1.3.2/3 a little reticent here.

I solved it.
It wasn't too complicated, either, so I suspect my difficulty was down to me being totally unfamiliar with the PCUI (I usually do ICWC development) and this being the first PCUI requirement I have ever been given to work on.
Anyhow, if any other newbies are interested in how I implemented advanced F4 help to integrate searching of an IBase of addresses with postcode field of BP creation, then please reply to this post and I will give details.

In layout editor please select listbox in dropdown attribute of input field and put some fctcode attribute

Newly added field in the data Source not getting populated

Hello All,
We have added few fields in the Data Source. The Data Source is based on the InfoSet. We have included the field in the Infoset and have updated the code to fetch the value for the newly added fields.
When we perform the test extraction for this Data Source in RSA3, the newly added fields are not getting populdated with the value. In the system generated query's selection list, the newly added fields are not selected.
Please let mw know how to get the newly added field selected in the system generated query of the infoset.

Hi,
As you said you have added the filed in Info Set. Have you included the same in data source? try if not.
If you are trying to create a query in source system to check the data. I guess in R/3 (ECC) then you have to include the new field in slection critera (ther is an option available on top menu).
I would suggest before creating any query go to RSO2 select the data source. Display the field structure and check if the filed is there or not. You maysee Infoset level data directly by data display from top menu. Try that optionas well to check.

Rejection code

Hi Fnrds,
We follow the process of closing all the open sales order at the month end , using a rejection code , but when i close the orders using rejection code the order value is also getting changed.
For example :
material : -- BB10
Grid:--
   S : 10 -- 100
   M : 10
   L : 10
now i have done delivery of 8 pcs for Grid S and M and i have delivered 10 Pcs of L . Now when i put the rejection code system automatically converts it into S - 8 , M - 8 and for the remaining two pice of S and M its puts the rejection code.
Now when i put the rejection code the value is also getting changed
S -- 800 Rs and M -- 800 Rs.
I dont want this to happen , even when i put the rejection code the qty should get splitted up as happening above and the value should remaining the same.
How can we do this?

Adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity )in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

We are adding field GAMNG ( Target Quantity ) in the Data Source 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL ( Work Center View from PP/PP-PI )
The field GAMNG is available in the communication structure maintainace.
The problem is- We are not able to drag & drap field GAMNG from the Communication structure LBWE. Getting the error - End phase 002 ***********************************************************
Message no. D0322 ..
We deleted Setup table , Meins field already exist in comm str.
1. How we able to drag the field from the communication structure as getting the above error. We searched SDN & try to follow that method but not working.
2. We can add the field in SE11 - Structure -Manually, then we have to write ABAP code.
Kindly suggest correct answer.

Hi,
There could be a number of reasons why you are getting the error:
1. Fields are not assigned to datatypes.
- Check structure in SE11 and assign to datatypes.
2. There are inactive appends in the extract structure.
- Double-click one of the includes. You will get a new screen with the INCLUDE structure. Click the button append-structure. Check if the append is inactive.
3. The appended structure is in a different development class from the one of the structure it is being appended to.
Please review and apply the following notes carefully :

It is not possible to enhance the datasource 2lis_04_MATNR with the field GAMNG (so its possible that its the same for 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL) because GAMNG has the reference field AMEIN, which has a STATE F (forbidden) in table TMCEXCFS .
Check to see if this is the same on your system.

Adding Fields to People Search Results Page

Hi
Working in SharePoint Online, I've been able to add a few fields to the People Search results page successfully:
Organization
Office Locator
Office Location
Work Phone
Mobile Phone
Home Phone
Work Email
All of the above fields are working and display on the People search results page.
I tried to add these and they simply do not display. There is no error:
University Email
Assistant
Calendar/Scheduling
I set them up the same way. I created the Property in the User Profile area. I then populated the data for each user. I then added the property as a Managed property (search schema) linked to the Crawled property from the People category.
Made sure that they were query able, retrievable, searchable, etc. Then I edited the People Search code and then I waited over the weekend for the search to pick them up. I came into work this morning and they still do not display. Here is

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding fields in people search results page.
Per my knowledge, there is no issue in your steps, and the issue may be related to the search crawl in SharePoint online.
For SharePoint server on-premise, we can start the search full crawl, however, for SharePoint online, we could not start the search full crawl manually.
You can wait for some time to complete the search full crawl in SharePoint online, then check whether it works.
As this is the forum for SharePoint server on-premise, I’m not familiar with the SharePoint online search crawl, for this issue, I recommend you can post a new question in the forum for Office 365/SharePoint online.

Need help for a adding field manually

Hi,
My requirement is to add fields in the component BP_DATA/ accountcardsEF , for which i have to enhance the DB Table BUT0CC . Since this is not supported by EEW , i have to do all this manually.
For which i have modified the DB table , added the fields at the BOL level and and are getting displayed on the WEB UI . Could you please tell me what modifications i have to do at the GENIL level as to save that data into the database .
Please advice on this.

did u added fields as Model Attributes(which contains reference to database)or else as Value attributes(no refeeence in database)
In Case of value/model attributes we have to write the code in get methods to retrieve the data from database.because they are not in the attribute structures.

Af:query component added field not removed when remove icon is clicked

I have an af:query component on a popup dialog. In advanced mode when I add a field, the new field appears in the searchRegion followed by a red X remove icon. If I subsequently click that remove icon, the query refreshes, the red icon is gone, but the newly added field still remains. The query component is linked to a standard VO query executable in the bindings. There is no custom processing of the value, model, queryListener or the queryOperationListener. In all other respects the query component works fine. The only problem is a newly added field not being removed when the remove icon is clicked. Here's how the component is setup (an added wrinkle is that the query component is hosted in a Declarative Component, so that makes this code a little harder to decipher).
Does anyone know where I should start looking for this? Hopefully I don't have to implement my own queryOperationListener.

Adding fields to the standard Report

in QA32 Tcode, after executing it will generate a report there i hv to add it.

Go to the inclide RQALVF14 in this there is a perform call_listviewer_f14, in this the output is displaying using REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY function module . before this do like this ..
modify the output table p_object_tab like this .
the output table is of structure QALS_D02 you can extend this by appending a structure with the custom fields and there is an enhancement ( i have checked it) in this routine call_listviewer_f14 in RQALVF14. Create an enhancement in this routine at the start of the routine and modify the output table using your custom code in it , then you wil get the data as well as fields into fieldcatalog,.

How can I put logic in PBO even of screen 101 for enabling this.

Adding field/column in screen painter SE51

We are trying to add field BSEG-VBUND for transaction code FSB1 fast entry screen (program SAPMF05A screen 8503). The new column will be after CoCd. However as the image below shows, TradPart is only on the first row but is needed on all rows as the other fields are.
We tried to use grouping to include BSEG-VBUND for all rows and in screen layout editor it seems to be correct.
But, when the syntax is checked the error states BSEG-VBUND is not assigned to a loop and that it must appear in "PBO" (PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT) and "PAI" (PROCESS AFTER INPUT).
We added BSEG-VBUND to PAI but then received the error that this is not assigned to a loop.
As a functional - not technical - consultant, I am unfamiliar with how to correct this. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Adding fields from KOMK structure to screen painter.

Hello Everyone,
i have created an Extra tab(like ADDITIONAL DATA B) using BADI, i have added fields from VBAP table, its working fine. But when i add fields from KOMK structure(KOMK-STCEG) only empty field is showing. Do i need to code something in PBO or PAI?

Hello NarsiReddy,
I assume that you have linked the field KOMK-STCEG using "Get from Dictionary" option from your above screenshot.
In PBO section, make sure to write the logic to update the value in the field. The logic which you would build, would be based on your requirement. For instance, you can use BELNR to check and its corresponding STCEG could be found in the structure KOMK.
But if the KOMK structure itself is not filled with any value, then there is some problem with your code. Try to check your BADI and its corresponding structures which would get updated at runtime and use them appropriately.

Date Added field blank in attachment

Hi All,
I am adding an attachment (through coding ) to an UDO.
The attachemmt attaches fine but the Date Added field is blank and non editable.
Moreover I cannot find any APIs to fill this field with the current date.
As a result, my UDO does not get saved.
Please provide pointers to fill the Date Added field either automatically or through coding.

Since there are no standard API's to set the date added field., you can use getExtensionField to set the date. The field ID for date Added within AttachmentSubIBeanIfc is "MODIFIED".
You can use this line of code to set the date added:
attachmentBean.getExtensionField("MODIFIED").set(TypeFactory.createSysDatetime(new java.util.Date()));
where attachmentBean is of type AttachmentSubIBeanIfc.
