PCUI: functionality creating activities in Opportunity missing

Hi,
we are using the PCUI interface. On tab Activities of an Opportunity (iView Opportunities) there are no buttons in the toolbar for adding or deleting an entry. I would like to add those as in Accounts->tab Activities.
So what I have done is
1. create new toolbar group ZOPP_ACT
2. add events ADD_LINE and REMOVE_LINE to the toolbar group
3. in Application Layout (application CRMD_BUS2000111) added the toolbar to event OPP_HD_ACT in Detail area 1
I see the buttons now, but they are not working properly. I cannot delete an enty, and when clicking "add entry", a new line is created, but cannot be saved (i.e. when clicking enter, it is removed).
Do I miss something? Or is this functionality at that place simply not possible?

I have thought so, but I hoped that this funtionality is already implemented in the model access class "CL_CRM_BSP_AM_HEADOM_1O" which is used here.
This model access class is also used in the tabs "Sales Team", Partner, Competitors which all have the Add Entry event/button.
However, I believe the MODIFY and SAVE methods just do not support the entry of an activity. And I either extend those or write an own access class for handling activity entries (add line, remove line) like in Business Partner's access class "CL_BSP_ACC_ACCMOD_ACTIVITY".
Am I on the right track?

You can use action profile to create activity from oportunity based on the required condition (Status).
Use the method Call type of processing and Method COPY_DOCUMENT. aslo mention the Activity type in the Process Type of the action definition.

Error while creating activities from Account application (Activity tab page

Hi Experts,
We are using CRM 5.0 with PCUI ( EP 7.0 version). We are getting below error when try to create activities from Account application in PCUI ( from activity tab page):
Error : Activity contains error.
Diagnosis
This transaction has errors.
Procedure
To correct the errors, go to the maintenance interface of the transaction.
To navigate to there, use the link to the account application
Pls suggest how to proceed with this error & helpful solutions would be rewrded generously.

We are getting this error when try to create Activity from Account application in PCUI. But the same thing is working fine in at GUI level & actions profile assigned to Activity transaction is also working fine at GUI level. But in PCUIit is throwing this below error.
Diagnosis
You have attempted to create a follow-up transaction for an incorrect transction 2000764. This is not possible. You can only create follow-up transactions for error-free transactions.
System Response
The follow-up transaction is not created.
Procedure
Correct the errors in the source transaction 2000764. The error messages resulting from processing the error can be read in the application log in the source transaction.
Pls suggest solution for this.

Oracle limitation? function created using "or replace" clause

How I can know if function is created using "or replace" clause?
I mean we can use "create function xxx" or "create or replace function xxx" to create function.
when we check all_source (select text from all_source) to get the function body. The "or replace" clause is missing. Both are like "Function xxx".
We are asked to be able to identify if the function create using "create" or "create or replace".
what we should do? Is this Oracle limitation?

That only works if nothing other than create create/replace happens tot he function over time. consider:

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service. Your contacts should be in whatever program/service you have chosen to sync.
If you have failed to do this, then they are likely gone.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I could solve the issue as my Operation mode was inactive, I made it active and then could schedule the DB13 jobs.
Can you tell me what is the relationship between DB13 jobs scheduling and Operation mode. Also note when I am scheduling DB13 jobs that time none of the background job is running ie my background wp is free. It is only after I activated day/night operation mode, I could schedule the backup.

If only with this warning, I don't know how to correct the definition of the function.
BTW, because it is a warning, I just try to run the sql stmt which will call this function:

I think that your posting may be more suited to the PL/SQL forum.
after the function is created with errors you should try the command:
show err
or
show errors
this should at least give you some idea of what is wrong.

instead contractor request requisition should open in Sourcing super user and i should able to open through document builder to make New RFQ

I can use LSMW upload the data from legacy system to sap system., but my manager he did not want to use LSMW.He wants to use BAPI function for upload customer master.
I saw this BAPI function create customer master : BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA1,
BAPI_CUSTOMER_CREATEFROMDATA,
it is not enough field for input data.
example : if i want input : customer code,company code, Sales organiration,Distribution channel,Division.
So This BAPI function have not paramaters input this field.

Transaction to create a new opportunity

To create a business partner, it is rather simple to use transaction BP.
But does there exist a transaction for creating an opportunity or a quotation for SAP CRM 7.0?
I am not asking about the front end web tool where you can just use the site to create a new opportunity.
I am asking on the SAP GUI side.

You can use the Transaction CRMD_ORDER to create one order documents, Opportunity being one of it. Just to give you some information, SAP GUI is being phased out slowly for CRM. All latest developments are in Web UI, so don't be surprized to find the differences between Web UI/SAP GUI.
