  • This is old. ITunes doesnot have a support you can call to get things done.  There needs to be an easier way to contact them? The screens are not user friendly.

    I have had my Blackberry Curve since last spring and still do not find it user friendly.  The online guide states how to make categories for the memo pad but stops there and does not explain how to save new memos within those categories.  I go back and forth and cannot figure out how to do it.   After pressing many buttons I finally manage to get it where it belongs but have no idea how and when I try adding another go through the same thing.   I had a Palm previously; it was so easy, just make the cateogry, click on it  and then click add new.    Now I click on the category, then new memo and after that the entry goes into outer space somewhere because I cannot find it.   Just clicking save does not work.    Sometimes I can find the entire list of items in every category but cannot figure out how I did it because there is no actual option to do that.  I often wish I had gone with a different smartphone but am locked in now for another 2+ years with basically a phone but nothing else.    I am still using the smartphone part of my Palm for data, memos, etc., because it is so much easier to use; unfortunately I cannot get another battery for it so its use wll be gone when the battery does.    .I wanted a smartphone so I just had to carry one device; now I am back to carrying two, a Palm PDA and a Blackberry phone.   .      

    Actually I did get these replies in my e-mail, thanks.   However, I did finally toss the Blackberry and got an iPhone.  It is so much easier to use, right out of the box I was able to  make calls whereas it took me some considerable time to figure out how to even do that with the BB.     And the Memo section on it great, very easy to use, not to mention the other basic apps like calendar and contacts.   Very user friendly.    .

I eventually got a response which showed I had texted 207 times on 31/07/2015. This inaccurate record showed these messages were to two numbers.As a result of the above just before 10am on Sunday 02/08/2015 I contacted your customer services and spoke to a male who sounded Indian. Again your help line is so frustrating over 3 minutes of select from the following to find none of them covered the help I need so I decided to select I am leaving EE. I pointed out to your representative the problems I was having and he put me on hold while he checked my account. After a minute or so he came back to me and said he would have to transfer me to someone else. Again I was put on hold and after a little while another man came on the phone. He checked with me what my call was about and then put me on hold while he checked my account. He came back on after a while and said he could see there was a problem and counted the texts I had sent since my top up on 25th. I think he said it was 43 or something like that. He then said he would have to speak to his manager about the problem and again I was put on hold After a minute or so he came back and told me his manager was very busy and his manager would phone me back. We agreed a time of 1pm that day Sunday.I am still waiting for that call.I have checked the records on my mobile phone and since I topped up on 25/07/2015 I have sent 29 text messages.So what do I need.EE to buck up and:Give me accurate recordsYour website to work every timeMy account number to show on my accountA link either from my home page or account where I get the phone number and an e-mail address at which I can contact you.     Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
    The calendar however,  is not easy to use.
    The typing function on the phone has  become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.

    I completely agree!! I'm starting to really hate iTunes.  I bought a macbook and an iPhone so everything would sync perfectly with no problems.  I have to log into iTunes constantly for downloads and this and that...it's so annoying!! Apple is more concerned about tracking your personal information than they are about users enjoying their music.  It's just a big data collection scam.  iTunes (AND APPLE) you are on very thin ice with me.

    This most likely means that either the server is unavailable, or your email settings are corrupted. Try deleting the account, rebooting the phone, and adding it back.

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
    Please note:
    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

    Here's an answer from the net:
    Go to Settings/Mail,contacts,calendars/Add account choose other, choose Add Mail Account. Fill in name, email address, password and description on the screen that comes up. Save those.
    One the next screen tat comes up click om POP in the first line then fil in the host name as
    spop.west.cox.net or spop.east.cox.net or the one to go with your region.
    Note that is not a misprint, that is spop (secure pop)
    Fill in your username one more time (the password should have carried over from previously)
    Fill in your outgoing mail server like smtp.west.cox.net (change for your region) and click Save.
    When all the settings are verified a checkmark will appear next to them all and you are good to go.
    If it says something like "can't connect via SSL would you like to ..." then you probably missed the step about selecting POP on the second screen and are trying IMAP so go back and try over with POP. Or perhaps mistyped soemthing.
    Once everything is working you can go back into the settings and see that it has automatically connected on port 995 and that SSL is on
    Note that you probably won't be able to send email from a wifi in a cafe or similar as cox won't let you connect to their smtp from outside their network.
    I haven't tried receiving mail from a non cox connected wifi yet but I suspect it will work just fine. Anyway these settings work for me using my ipod to my home wifi router connected to cox.
    I could not find a definitive guide when I searched so I hope this helps other folks trying to configure this.

    Cant get FaceTime to work on new mini IPad....any suggestions? It keeps verifying but it will not work, it allows me to get apps. Triple checked that the Apple ID and password is correct, checked the settings to make sure they are turned on, able to get imessage, not sure what the problem could be?
