PDF output not printing specific Czech character

Hi,
On the XML template i have harcoded some Czech characters like, měna & Peněžní
if any Czech character has small v on top of the character, then the report output prints as ? instead of that character. For examplae, měna & Peněžní in PDF output prints as m?na & Pen??ní . It prints rest of the Czech characters correctly. The issue happens only with PDF output. When i keep the Format as EXCEL then it prints the Czech characters correctly. Can any one help me on this issue.

but it is not giving required output. Then we saved same file in doc format (Sample.doc), which is giving required output.
Because it is application specific problem, kindly
assist to resolve issue on priority. We are sharing IFilter paths for extracting text for doc and docx.

PDF Files not printed

I can able to print text files in the printer properly. When am printing PDF files am getting
the error :

Do you have pdf2ps presented in the PATH of applmgr user?
Did you run the concurrent program with (number of copies = 1)?

Please give us the complete error message, every word. This is not a familiar symptom.
Also: What software and version are you printing from? What system do you have?

PDF's not printing to Epson R1900

Posted problem awhile back. PDF would not print to my Epson R1900. Downloaded umpteen different drivers. I am on a G5 Intel Dual Core running OS 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 since yesterday. Adobe very little help, Epson likewise, although I talked to an Epson Tech for about 45 minutes one day.
Decided I had to fix this myself. When in the Print window Click on "Advanced", check mark "Print as Image". This enables printing the PDF.
Adobe has a note about this on their website now.

I recently noticed that when using the Gutenberg drivers on my Epson Stylus Photo 380, it was shrinking the pages slightly.
So I decided to update the Epson drivers, and use them instead.
After updating, I could no longer print over my network. It was making my crazy. I tried everything that I could think of.
I saw your post & tried it. Perfect, worked like a charm!

I can see the MICR in PDF but not Printing on Printer

I have almost done with AP Check printing using BI publisher I can see the MICR in PDF but not Printing on Printer It is printing as normal font... I missed something?

PDF Output Not Displaying Turkish Characters

Hi,
We've configured BI 7.0 System with an Standalone Portal+BI Java System running both on SP11 Stack without problem.
For BI Web Reports, we're taking PDF Outputs and getting Turkish Character Problems. On the screen we can see everything correct, even Excel Export displays Turkish Characters without problem but PDF Export is wrong. I've checked the "<b>Note 1007116 - Form output in incorrect language</b>" but not sure whcih form to check? And also if this is the problem?

But all in vain. It works fine for 2000 characters but not able to print 4000 characters.

PDF output not showing all 4000 characters

I have a placeholder column of character data type and its width is 4000. When I execute the report and see it pdf output it shows only 1980 characters with last line characters going beyond the report margins.
Is there a way to display all 4000 characters?

Script PDF output is printing distorted

At the time of printing script output I have set Option paramter 'ITPO' to generate spool request.I sent this spool request PDF output to external mail by SP01. But when I download this PDF output form mail and print, priting quality gets distorted. Why this is happening? Please help how to overcome this issue.

1. I have developed a script form and driver program which is used for invoice printing.
2. Our client wants to send this invoice on external mail. What i deed for this that I am using the spool request which is created during the print of output.
3. Then I am using transaction code SP01 to send spool PDF to external mail.
4. This script PDF output is sent successfully on external mail as an attachment. User saves this PDF attachement and print on their printer.
5. PROBLEM is when user open this attachment and prints this PDF, the printing gets distorted.
Note: I have also used another way by function module and program, but the result is same, PDF attachemnt printing gets distorted. It is not the same as get printing through ZTCODE printing of this script.

PDF Header not printing via Concurrent Manager.

XML Publisher 5.6.3
Oracle Financials 12.0.6
RTF Template created by Word 2003
When submitting a XML Publisher report request via concurrent manager and choosing a pasta driver printer to print too.
The report prints with no header details.
If you view the PDF report from the concurrent manager by clicking the view output button. The PDF document does have a header and if you print this PDF report via internet explorer the header does print out.
i.e. No header printer via oracle financials concurrent manager
But header printed out via internet explorer
so PDF is getting printed by Linux through CC Manager and no header details appear in the print out.
Any ideas?

All of the complex report logic is handled in your Oracle Report (rdf) file.
If your Oracle report is working OK, then this report should be generating XML.
After running your report, go to the View Requests window. Highlight your request, and click the Diagnostics button. Then click the 'View XML' button. If you see XML data, then you should be OK.
When I faced a similar issue, it was because the '1 step' process didnt work for the particular report I was using. The '1 step' process doesn't work for every report. Which report are you using?
If the report is submitted via a form (not the concurrent manager request form), then you probably need to use 2 steps to produce the desired output.

Export to PDF is not printing all the columns in one single page.

I have a report, I am exporting the report to PDF, but ALL the columns are not printing in a single page, It is getting printed 2 or more pages.
I am okay if I have a horizontal scroll bar or if the test size is reduced. Please see the recording and let me know whether it is possible.

So it is defenitely possible to make ALL the columns appear in the same page in PDF regardless of how much width the report occupies?

PDFs are not printing correctly in Adobe Reader 10.1.3

When I try to print pages from a PDF using Adobe Reader 10.1.3, some of the text is not printing. If I use another PDF program, such as Apple Preview, that text is printed correctly.

This is not a channel to official Adobe support. I cannot find the bug by the number you gave in the Adobe help system.

Barcode in PDF output not coming in Oracle R12.1.3

We have a rtf template for Invoice report. In this report we have to display barcode in PDF output. In our development instance barcode is coming properly. But in our test instance barcode is not coming(same template is available in Development and Test instance).
We are using wocrb.ttf and w128l.ttf font files and we have these files available at $OA_JRE_TOP/lib/fonts path.
Also, we have config file available on $OA_JRE_TOP/lib directory. and this config file has correct path of both the font files.
Still the barcode is not coming in Test instance.
Request you all to please help me with this issue.

PDF requires the font be registered correctly, since it is not appearing you have missed something in your configuration.
The most common error is the font family name does not exactly match the font name in Word. (Open the font on your PC and the name is present there also.)
You can use the xdodebug.cfg troubleshooting method, then see what error appears in the xdo.log when the font is accessed.

PDF will not print please help

I am using Win7 64, updated print driver, updated Adobe. When I try to print a pdf document it will not print unless I restart my computer for each document. I can print Word documents but not pdfs.

PDF will not print correctly from any app

I seem to keep on getting the same error everywhere I print on SL (from safari/firefox/preview etc etc)
It will usually print any lines or logos but miss all text?? I did have the dreaded adobe reader installed but have since removed it?
I am in urgent need of printing out some manuals for a class so in real trouble, help!

Where do these PDFs that do not print correctly come from? Are they downloaded from the internet or from email? Or do you create them yourself on your computer? If so, in which program?
Do some PDF files print correctly, but not others? Did you remove the dreaded Acrobat Reader before this problem developed or after? Did this problem develop only after you ungraded to a certain release of Snow Leopard or has it never worked in SL?
PDF is wonderful technology, but every so often there can be issues.
