PDO_OCI-1.0 Make Problems

All,
Right yet, I'm running on a 64-bit Redhat6 box, with Oracle's Administrative Client installed in the standard, ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1 (this software was provided by the p10098816_112020_Linux-x86-64_4of7.zip from Oracle).
I've successfully compiled, made and installed oci8-1.4.7 and have the module loading just fine when I run a php -m .
I realize that PDO_OCI is experimental, but I'm needing to get it to work with the oci8 module. I've been able to do the pecl download pdo_oci , untar/gziped that file, and then edited config.m4 in order to accommodate my newer than 10.1 version of an oracle client.
Next, I have to phpize within the directory PDO_OCI-1.0 and then I ran the:
./configure --with-pdo-oci=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/client_1 (without any errors).
make (without any errors.)
make test
Gives me:
Build complete.
Don't forget to run 'make test'.

I've tried using the instantclient and the xe client (and the necessary changes to the ./configure --with-pdo-oci=<statements> with the same results.

I'm not surprised about getting a similar error: you had mismatched PDO_OCI driver and generic layer PDO code. This isn't anything to do with the Oracle software you use.
Once you get the full PHP source code matching your PHP version, download the Instant Client basic and sdk ZIPS, create the symbolic link for libclintsh.so and then do:
cd php-5.3.13/ext/pdo_oci
phpize
./configure --with-pdo-oci=instantclient,$HOME/instantclient_11_2,11.2.0.3
make install
Edit php.ini to add the extension=pdo_oci.so and restart the web server.

Of course we users want it to be released ASAP if not sooner.
The process goes as follows (over simplified):
- identify the problems (uses need to report them to Apple)
- reproduce the problem (for example i don't have problems with iTunes but you do, perhaps my library only has 1,000 songs while yours has 50,000 and that makes a difference)
- Prioritize the bug list
- Fix the bugs
- Test, test, test
I expect 10.10.1 to be released around November, but no one here knows

PDF Maker Problems in All Office Applications

The PDF Maker add-in shows in the add-in add-in manager as ACTIVE in Word and Excel 2013 but I see no Acrobat toolbar nor anything related to Acrobat under the generic add-in toolbar. I am using Acrobat XI with Office 2013. Both Acrobat and Word were just updated. I have searched this forum and the internet for a solution but had no success. Also, if anyone knows where to find the serial number, I'd apprecaite it. You can't live chat without it.

thanks for the message…..subsequent to posting on the forum, I discovered that the problem was due to the fact that my version of Acrobat Pro - 11.0.00 required updating; once I did this, the problem fixed and the Adobe ribbon appeared again the my office files.

Photoshop CS6 on Yosemite make problems

Hello, I've Photoshop CS6 running on Yosemite und use a Wacom Cintiq as a second monitor. Often I can’t use shortcuts keys only after changing the tool.
Now I've installed the WhiteWindowWorkaround Plugin and this problem is fixed. But now I can't open, save and close with shortkeys anymore. Is there any solution, too?

To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"

Hello Microsoft! I am just reporting that when I downloaded Movie Maker from the official microsoft site, I did not get MovieMaker. wlsetup appeared and it downloaded windows essentials but that was not anywhere in my computer. I clicked start and searched
Movie Maker and Microsoft Essentials but nothing appeared. When I redownloaded the installer and installed, it said I already had the programs on my computer. I have checked everywhere, but there is no Movie Maker. I believe there may be a problem. Please

You can try few steps and check if it helps..
i) First make sure all windows updates are completed and there are no pending updates.
ii) Open HP Support Assistant from Start-->All Programs--> HP Help and Support. In HP Support Assitant click on
Maintain and check if there are any pending updates. If there are pending updates then complete all the updates.
Sometimes it could be due to display and audio drivers.. You can try updating the the display and audio drivers from here:

If none of the above helps then you can try uninstalling and reinstalling Movie maker from control panel.

Package maker problems

hi there i have a package maker issue that i am sure is either esily resolved because im overlooking something or unexplicaply dificult and i dont even reolise. now i am in no way schooled on how to use this software but common sense has allowed me to build an installer to install files to my desktop no problem. my problem arises when its time to install it on another user or on a diferent computer. because the destination folders i have specified are native to my environent and include my user in the filepath when i then put it on a diferent machine my user no longer exists and ofcourse the files do not end u in the corresponding folders. an example of a filepath i used would have been ' Macintosh HDD/Users/myuser/Desktop ' but the 'myuser' section of course is different on every machine so i gues my question is how do i set the destination path to work on any user on any machine? i tried /Users/User/Desktop and other combinations but like i said i dont realy know what im doing and its verry hard to find info on the subject.
ultimately i want to send 2 files to the applications folder 1 to replace an old version and the other a seperate program
then i want to add some component files to a plugins folder . seemed easy at first then i hit this bump in the road and iv been stuck ever since

I was just using a generic term. The idea is that you need to setup a development area for installation that mirrors where you are installing. It is just a directory (of directories). It is important to keep it separate from your actual software you are building. Always copy things into the sandbox.
The problem is Package Maker. It is one of Apple's worst programs. One of the things you have to do before installing is change ownership of the sandbox directory to root. That makes dealing with your development directory a royal hassle. It is best to script all parts of a Package Maker installation.

That would be a great thing to have. Alas, it doesn't exist. There is (may be) documentation inside Package Maker. Some of it may include the command-line tools. There is also a man page for the command-line tools themselves. Neither is actually correct, or, at least, neither was correct the last time I used them. Use them as suggestions rather than documenation. Package Maker is just really buggy and hard to use. No easy answers there. Plus, it changes frequently so my 2-3 year old knowledge of how it used to work probably isn't accurate anymore. It really is trial and error.
In fact, in my last project, I just wrote a bootstrapping installer application. I included a preference pane inside the application bundle of the application. When the application started up, it checked for the preference pane, authenticated if required, and installed exactly what it needed. That was easier than using Package Maker.

PHP make problem

My system is Linux and i've installed Oracle9i Database 9.2.0.1.0.
Apache server was included in installation.
Now i want to install PHP 4.3.3 (also tried on earlier versions) with oracle support.
I used the following configuration:
./configure with-oci8=$ORACLE_HOME with-apxs=$ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/bin/apxs with-mysql=/usr enable-sigchild
The configuration didn't ran on any problems.

So how can i properly install PHP with oracle support and with Oracle installed http server.

Re the issue compiling sapi_apache.c, it looks like the Apache headers
can't be found. On my RH AS 2.1 it seems as if
$ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/bin/apxs -q INCLUDEDIR
isn't returning /my/oracle/home/Apache/Apache/include and the
APACHE_INCLUDE variable in PHP's Makefile is wrong.
To fix the problem I thought I could simply manually edit the Makefile
and correct the APACHE_INCLUDE path, but APACHE_INCLUDE is not used
anywhere in the makefile; the configure script has already
pre-expanded it.
Your solution of editing sapi_apache.c looks good.
A quick workaround would be to edit the Makefile and add
-I/my/oracle/home/Apache/Apache/include to the compile line for
sapi_apache.c
Another workaround with UNKNOWN CONSEQUENCES is to edit Oracle's apxs
script and change:
my $CFG_INCLUDEDIR = q(/include);
to:
my $CFG_INCLUDEDIR = q(/my/oracle/home/include);
and then re-run PHP's configure.
Configure gave me "expr" and "test" warnings before and after this
change, but the install now worked. The errors I saw were at the
point of checking for APXS support. The messages were:
expr: non-numeric argument
./configure: test: : integer expression expected
In another direction, on RH AS 2.1 I can configure and build PHP 4.3.3
if I just use --with-apxs with no directory. This uses the
preinstalled Apache - which is the one I'm running anyway.

Moreover, /usr/ucb/cc is there as can be confirmed with

Hello, I'm new to Archlinux. Been using Ubuntu for a while, but thought that i'd try something new. I'm trying to compile a program, aircrack-ng, but everytime i do i get this error

Ok, i found xarchiver. Although now another problem has arisen. I had a dual boot system, Ubuntu, and Arch, and i deleted the ubuntu partition, and then moved and resized the arch partition to fill the entire hard drive. Now however, i am trying to install GRUB2, and while running grub-install, it doesn't finish. I read in another forum that if it takes more than 1 minute to complete, the first sector is bad and i need to repair it. My question however is how would i check to see if it really is a bad sector, and how would i repair it if it is?
EDIT:
I fixed it. It seems that the device.map was from grub legacy, so i deleted it, reinstalled grub2, and everything works perfectly.
However, it seems that i don't have a "update-grub" or "grub-update" command. No problem though. Probably just need to edit /etc/profile for $PATH

ITunes, AMDS and iPad make problems

Hi everybody
I got some serious problem with iTunes, iPad, AMDS and Windows 7 64 bit. I first noticed it when I wanted to watch video. Due to a "cancelling sync..." message I was unable to watch video (and listen to music). Searching the web brought me the solution that all I should do was to force a re-sync of the iPad (i.e. delete a file).
But, then all the problems started. My iTunes does not "recognize" the iPad due to the Apple Mobile Device Service is not started. If I tries to start the service with the iPad connected a windows error message 1067 appears and I start the service without the iPad connected the service starts, but terminates instantly when the iPad is connected. The "canceling sync... " message is fixed, I connected the iPad to another PC, but I'm still not able to get the iPad and iTunes to work together on my own PC.
I followed this guide (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923) but, it did not fix my problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes about five times, inclusive all apple programs such as QuickTime, Bonjour, etc. I even took a "screen dump" on the iPad as some suggests, tried a clean boot and reinstalled iTunes once more. I tried updating the USB driver as Apple suggests, but yet nothing seem help. I'm running out of ideas, and I'm not much up for re-installing windows.
Anyone who knows how to get my iPad/iTunes to work on my Windows 7 64 bit platform, without reinstalling W?

PDF Maker problem in outlook using right to left text

Hello,
I am using the PDF Maker application in outlook (acrobat 7.0.5 and outlook 2002) which allows the user to convert an email message (or folder with messages) in the outlook to a PDF document.
My question is :
When the document contains languages from right to left (Hebrew), the converting PDF Maker process changes the letters order in the "from", "to" and the "subject" fields to be from left to right . The text in the message itself is in the right direction (right to left).
How can I overcome this issue ?

I've insaller SUNWlibm and the make is going further now but still ends in a fatal error:
