PE 11 Email Attachment Body Edit
When I use PE 11 email attachment to forward photos to email contacts, I do not have the ability to edit the body of the email. I cannot get the cursor to show up in the email body to edit the body of the email before I send it. Any ideas to fix the problem?
Yes, this is a known bug, unfortunately. For now you can create your text in another program and copy/paste it in, but so far there's no fix.

I have created a form in InDesign, exported to a pdf, then created an editable form and saved. When I open the form and make changes and save, then reopen the changes are there. If try to email this form as an attachment after editing, the attachment is always minus the edits. ????

If you ave created the form and then filling it yourself and saving the form, the filled data should be there when you reopen the same form.

Hi, I wonder if any one can advise me?
I have an email in a gmail account with an application form attached to fill out and return by email. I have tried everything but can't write on it. It opens in google documents and I can read it but not amend it.
I have downloaded quick office and adobe reader but when I press and hold on the attachment it either just opens or bring up an 'open' button not 'open with'.
I have also tried pressing the box with the arrow at the top of the safari page but this just has print, copy Facebook etc?
I can just press download on my friends mac and I can write on the form but I have attachments I need to send with it so need to do I from the ipad.
What am I missing, it surely can't be as difficult as I am making it?!

EmmaThis may seem like a silly question, but have you tried logging into your GMail account in Safari by going to http://gmail.com/, then clicking on the email attachment from there to edit it?

When setting email attachments body is also attachment
When an email attachment is included with an email, the body is also included as an attachment.
Isn't it possible to show the body content normally within the email instead of making it a seperate attachment?This is being fixed. Please work through support if you need the patch

I have to send the Email with the content and the attachments, here the email content and attachemts contains different set of data , attachment needs to be an .HTML file which has to be generated during the mapping & its content is the part of the email body content...and the attachment name is dynamic...like PO Number or customer name

Hi,
My excel file contains a logo , text and other information .
I have to send this excel file(which is on the local PC in the C drive ) as email attachment .So I am using the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 .
The receiver is able to get the mail but the contents are missing in the attached file .
Suggest what changes should I make in the below code to successfully send the attachment
I am passing the file path as value to parameter object_header .
Also I feel the value to parameter CONTENTS_BIN is wrong.
So please help

Send report as an email attachment from a page

I have page which generates a report based on two filters. After the report is generated, 'I want to send that report as an email attachment from that page, when button is clicked "Send Email"
Thanks a lot in advance.'I accomplished functionality I believe similar to what you are looking for in an application once by querying a report into an html e-mail message. This approach gives you all kinds of flexibility. At least this would be one way of doing it. I am going to include a simplified sample here of what the script looked like. I am trying to store an email attachment (an Excel spreadsheet) somewhere on my iPhone 5 to be able to access it easily in the future. I do not need the ability to work on it, just to access it, although it would be convenient if i could load updated versions over it on a regular basis. The spreadsheet was created in Excel on a laptop with Win 7. I read one posting that said I should save the document to iBooks and then could open it whenever I wanted. The same posting refered to something in the upper right corner of the attachment that enabled me to save it to iBooks. Unfortunately, there is no such option showing when I looked at the file, which I did email to myself. I was able to open the attachment, but can't get beyond this point. My tech ability doesn't go much beyond being able to power up my phone, so I need a really simple solution, if one exists.
First of all, Excel file can't save to iBook. (iBook only can view PDF files). That's why you don't see it in "open in" options. In order for you to save excel, you will need a third party app like Numbers, Office2. There are a few free apps that can use to view. I used Office2 from Byte2, because I can not only store and view later, I can do some edit too. Especially when you want to edit a few numbers and re send them to my office or clients will be very useful for me.

Acrobat XI email attachment does not appear to work with Outlook 2013 64 bit
When attempting to send email from Acrobat, the following Microsoft Office Outlook 2013 64 bit error message is received:
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default email client."
Naturally, Outlook was set as default client and then reset for good measure. I did both Outlook and Acrobat repairs and have the latest 11.0.2 installed. All other internal Office 2013 email applications work as well as seemingly all other embedded Acrobat funcitions with Office 2013 work well. Office 2010 64 bit and Acrobat X worked fine. I upgraded to Office 2013 64 bit and had the problem with Acrobat X. I then upgraded to Acrobat XI and the issue remained.
Most importantly, I intalled Office 2013 64 bit on my laptop with Acrobat X. An the email attachment function works perfectly.
So, is there some sort of corrupt MAPI file that I have to overwrite on my desktop that the Ofice and Acrobat repair functions do not fix?

Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client." It worked to resolve the problem where Adobe Acrobat was generating this error.

Is there a way to paste an email attachment into a pages template?
Can I open an email attachment and copy it to Pages to create a Pages document that I can then edit; etc.?
That depends of what format the attachment is off.

.pdf is missing when send as email attachment (Outlook) from Adobe Reader 11.0.06
The PDF is streamed from our webserver application to an IFRAME in Internet Explorer 9.
The headers Content-type (application/pdf), Content-disposition (random-unique-filename.pdf), Content-length are all set.
Acrobat Reader plugin opens up inside the IFRAME and presents the PDF without problems.
When our users try "Send file as email attachment" Outlook 2010 opens up and the file is attached - without the file extension.
The name of the attachment is the same name as the Java Servlet that delivered the streamed file.
If we save the streamed PDF to disc, open it in Acrobat and do the same maneuver - the file extension is added to the attached file name in Outlook.

If we use adobe reader 11.0.x file is attached as "filename.do"
If you use save file as , it does get the "pdf" extension automatically

This is more simple than the one u have written , just include ur data upload logic . For ITAB values to be attached i have written a simple logic to retrive from EKPO.
