Permission denied Create object orasession

I am using win2k with oracle 9i.
i am tring to use oo4o with asp and getting the following error
Microsoft VBscript runtime(0x800a0046)
Permision denied :'CreateObject'
line 19
and line 19 in asp is :
set Orasession = CreateObject ("OracleInProcServer.XOraSession")
I have got full access for internet user on oracle home direcorty !!
It is really urgent !!

There are a number of places I found with the information in the following

my specific case, the RsExecRole role in both the "master" and "msdb" databases
had had both the "NT Authority\Network Service" and "NTAuthority\System" logins
removed from its members (the RSExecRole had had all its members removed by
someone doing some maintenance). I compared another Reporting Services
installation on another server after reading information in the above
link.
Steps:
1. In Mangement Studio connect to the SQL Server instance
on which Reporting Services runs.
2. Databases > system Databases
3.
master > Security > Roles > RSExecRole (then add whatever logins are
required... check in the ReportServer or ReportServerTempDB databases if you're
not sure)
4. msdb > Security > Roles > RSExecRole (add the same
logins you did to the master DB)
In the end you need the same logins in
RSExecRole role for the master, msdb, ReportServer, and ReportServerTempDB
databases. ("ReportServer" is the default Reporting Services database name, in
case that's not clear ;)

Permission denied on object 'PSOPRDEFN' database 'FSCM' schema 'dbo'

Hi,
I get the following error when i try to login in 2 tier thru App Designer.
SELECT permission denied on object 'PSOPRDEFN' database 'FSCM' schema 'dbo'...Just to give a little background...Since i was installing PS FSCM 9 on my new machiine, I did not create a new DB, as I had the mdf and ldf files from my earlier machine. All i did was to add the DB thru SQL Server management studio. I have executed the grant and connect.sql. Both have executed successfully. But I am still unable to login. I also tried altering the authorization on my DB, but that did not work either

I was installing PS FSCM9 on my new personal machine. Since I had my "MDF" and "LDF" files for FSCM 9 DB (from my previous machine), I did not create a new DB for my new Install of PeopleTools. I simply copied the DB files to my new machine.
I can login into the DB using sa/sa1. But when I try logging in using App Designer in 2 Tier, it pops up the error mentioned. I ran the Grant/connect sql's again, but that did not help. i did run alter authorization script for the 3 tables PSACCESSPRFL, PSSTATUS and PSOPRDEFN, and granted them access to people, but that did not work out.

EXECUTE permission denied on object 'xp_sqlagent_enum_jobs'

Hello. I am running SQL 2005 SP2 (9.0.3282) on a Windows 2003 SP2 Enterprise server. I have three users that I have assigned the three SQL Server Agent roles within the msdb system database so that they may manage jobs that they own. Recently they started seeing this error:
The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'xp_sqlagent_enum_jobs', dartabase 'mssqlsystemresource', schema 'sys'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 229)
I have other servers that have SQL server configured the same where we are not seeing the errors.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

After you move the msdb database, you may receive the following error message:
Error 229: EXECUTE permission denied on object 'ObjectName', database 'master', owner 'dbo'.
This problem occurs because the ownership chain has been broken. The database owners for the msdb database and for the master database are not the same. In this case, the ownership of the msdb database had been changed. To work around this problem, run the following Transact-SQL statements. You can do this by using the Osql.exe command-line utility (SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000) or the Sqlcmd.exe command-line utility (SQL Server 2005):

Permission to create objects under different USER

Hi there,
I´d like to know what privileges are used to allow a user to create objects (tables, indexes, triggers, procedures) under another user.
Example: I´m logged with user TOM and want to be able to run the following DDL:

FIELD2 VARCHAR2(50)

You need to have "CREATE TYPE" granted to you for creating Object types.

SQL INSERT permission denied on object Error

Hi,
I am new to Sql server in fact i've only been using it for the last two hours , the create database and create table statements worked fine,
I am now trying to insert, delete, and update some records on SQLSERVER 2000, and i am getting this error for each insert , update or delete statement nowing that the syntax is ok.
It is a permission problem, I 've heard that there is a Grant method can anyone tell me how to use it

go to enterprise manager right clike on the table and change the permission in ALL TASKS
r change the database owner to the user id u r using

Select permission denied in RPD

I am mapping data in my rpd file and cannot view data or update row counts for almost all of my tables in the database.
I am running obiee 11g on my local machine connected to an sql server database.
The error I receive is "Select permission denied on object...". I have talked with the DBA and I should have sufficient privileges for my project.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Venkat is right,You don't have privileges for that table,You can always find out your own effective permission on any object by using fn_my_permissions('table_name', 'OBJECT')

the user which you use in the JDBC Adapter isn't allowed to execute the stored procedure.

[SOLVED]"permission denied" when building pkg

most consistantly, I get the error when a pkgbuild has the line: ./autogen.sh
in building linphone-git, mediastreamer-git and ortp-git
another time, I got burned with the line: ./system.tmp
from building wiimms-iso-tools
and the last pkg I tried to build, I got it on the line: ./file2h
while building linux-wbfs-manager
...it really bugs me about these packages, because my desktop has the exact same install and works fine (so well, I can build them on the desktop and install them on the laptop... but that becomes tedious after a while, so I'd like to fix this issue... I searched for the issue in the forums, and it always semed to be related to the actual pkgbuild... but that's not the case in my scenario because the build works fine on the desktop and kicks me in the teeth on the laptop. Please ask whatever questions necessary to get the info needed to deal with this issue. I'm not really strong at pkgbuild configurations (only make a couple for my own to test my abiliities) so I'm not sure what to include exactly. I can include the line numbers for the pkgbuilds in question, but I'm sure the PKGBBUILDs are not the issue here... it's something to do with my laptop...
come to think of it, my desktop isn't quite up to date as my laptop, I think... because the laptop ran into an issue where python-qt and python-sip were attempting to replace python2-qt and python2-sip, but both python2 pkgs were deps for like 50+ other packages... so I'm not sure if that's related. Pretty sure I didn't update my desktop and get that issue... not in the last couple of days. And that issue started on my laptop today... both issues, actually, so maybe they are related.
SOLUTION: removed "noexec" from tmpfs options for /tmp ramdisk setup in fstab
Moral of the story: be mindful of how you configure things, because an old configuration can ruin a new package installation or functionality.

I have tipical situation in my database environment. i have task for deployment few object in Stage environment while running those scripts showing these error message "create database permission denied in database 'master'"
I have SA permissions in my server and environment is Sql server 2008 r2.
Please help on this.

If you have SA permissions then you will never get this error.
What is the login that you used. Confirm if you indeed has SA permissions in the instance that you are trying to execute the script and got this error.

Cannot create file "/Applications/ " Permission denied.

When installing new software Iget the following error message: "Cannot create file "/Applications/ ". Permission denied. I have used disk utilities to try to repair my permissions with no sucsess. I have also tried reinstaling the software. Any advise is appreciated.
I am using Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 and Safari 8.0.4

You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this,boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type: ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.
Repair User Permissions

SQL Express 2008 R2 - CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'

I have created a setup application with SQLEXpress 2008 as a prerequisite. On test SQLExpress installs OK
after the application is installed it must create and install a database using a mixture of SMO and Scripting. I used SMO to add the current user (who is a Windows Administrator) as a Login to the SQL Express server.

how is it possible to scrip this? there is no documentation i can find.
the database must be installed in the ProgramData folder. Is there a permissions issue with this. Do I need to assign permissions to this folder somehow?
bear in mind this will be a remote install and the user expects it work flawlessly.  No manual interventions

if i connect to the sqlexpress instance (local)\SQLEXPRESSS using SQL Management Studio and try to modify the Windows User Login I get the error message:
"User does not have permission to perform this action. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 15247)"
how is this possible. it seems to be at an impasse. can't go forward or backward
Now try launching Managenment Studio by right clicking on shortcut and choosing "Run As Adminitstartor".
If above works then you are running on Windows 2008 family OS (Vista, 2k8 or Win7) which has
UAC feature.
If above does not work then you really don't have permission then follow below.

"Couldn't create destination temporary file:Permission denied"

I am running the latest version of Final Cut Server on a Mac Pro Tower running Mac Server 10.6.X.
I keep getting 2 Error messages every time my users are trying to send content to the server via Final Cut Server client application:
(1) "Broken Pipe" and (2) "Couldn't create destination temporary file:Permission denied"
Anybody have any Ideas on how I could correct this?

Can you elaborate on what you did to fix this? I am getting the same error. Everything was fine about a week ago. I tried repairing the disk permission in Disk Utility.

Permission denied remote socket ERROR when creating outgoing PROVIDER

Hi,
I am having issues in the outgoing provider.
My Stellent 7.5 is installed on a linux box with ip address 182.30.190.28 and hostname of pc-prd-st and the URL to access this is http://pc-prd-st/stellent_pr/
I have installed two instances of Content Server 10gR3 on a different linux box with ip address 182.30.190.38 and hostname of poc-dev-prd-cs. There are 2 instances of Content Server 10gR3 running on this box. One is for dev and one is for prod. Here are the URL's to access both
http://poc-dev-prd-cs/dev_idc/
http://poc-dev-prd-cs/prod_idc/
dev_idc admin port=5440 and contentserver port=5444
prod_idc admin port=4440 and contentserver port=4444
Now on my Stellent 7.5 version that is running on 182.30.190.28 I created an outgoing provider to connect to http://poc-dev-prd-cs/prod_idc/ which is my prod instance of 10gR3 and here are the values I have when creating a provider:
Provider Name: ucm10gProdProvider
Provider Description: Provider for connecting to poc-dev-prd-cs PROD Instance
Provider Type: outgoing
Provider Class: intradoc.provider.SocketOutgoingProvider
Provider Connection: intradoc.provider.SocketOutgoingConnection
Instance Name: prod_idc
Server Host Name: poc-dev-prd-cs
Server Port: 4444
Relative Web Root: /prod_idc/
But when I test this provider it's giving the following error:

Connection Error: Unable to establish connection to the server. Permission denied. Address '182.30.190.28' is not an allowable remote socket address.

As I have verified all the instances are up and running. I restarted both the servers several times but still the same error. As I also have one more out going provider that connects to the test instance which is on different box and it works for that. But some how not for my the new prod_idc. Any ideas what might be wrong.

Add the config entry SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter to config.cfg with the IP addresses that you want to let access the CS . It should be like this :
SocketHostAddressSecurityFilter=127.0.0.1|10.177.*.*|10.229.175.167
After this restart the CS and test it out.
