I want to buy a macbook pro but don't have a credit card, I checked at the apple store, they didn't mention about debit card in the online store malaysia, so can i use a debit card to buy thing on malaysia apple online store?As long as the debit card has a VISA or Mastercard logo on it, it's really called a "Check Card". It can be used anywhere you can use a credit card, but the funds come out directly from your banking account just as leroy said.

I have a Macbook Pro with Retina display and after I connect the tv with my computer through the HDMI my tv just reads no sync. Is there another step I am missing?

I am going to NYC on May 7 to May 13 and would like to buy a new Macbook Pro 15 of the following configuration:

The questions are:
1. Can this custom configuration be purchased in one of NY retail stores?
2. If no, is it possible to buy a Macbook Pro 15 with an antiglare high-res screen in any of retail stores?
3. Can I buy a standard Macbook Pro 15 configuration (MC723) and add extra 4GB RAM? What else could be added on-site in a retail store?
4. What is the current tax rate for NYC?

This is why you are being urged to contact one or more of the stores there directly, even if it isn't convenient for you to do so. You can't get a definitive answer to your question any other way.

Are there any MacBook Pro Retinas available in Apple Retail stores in Canada?
I have been searching for the past two weeks in the Vancouver region for a MacBook Pro with Retina, and I've come up dry every day. I have gotten different stories from the same Apple Stores, either saying they have been getting shipments periodically throughout the week, while another Apple Rep said they have received nothing since launch day. What is going on?
No one here works for Apple, knows Apple's shipping policies concerning their stores nor does Apple visit this message board.

Profile is which profile I chose to enter in my SnowLeopard System. I created 2 profiles. One I enter to work, the other, personal, I enter to do my personal things when I go home.
It worked weel for a while. I had muy icloud working on both profiles, with iCal, Agenda, etc. Now it doesn't anymore. On my work profile the information from icloud only gets in, not out. -

But what I do not like in that picture (my personal view, others may think differently), is that there is much plastic around the connectors where the cable must fit. You may ot may not be able to get the cable to *fully seat* with the adapter.
Other adapters (http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0334087, yes I know this is a DVI) hve no plastic barriers to connections. -
On my new MacBook Pro when I am connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable, Facebook pictures do not load. They show up as white boxes with blue question marks. This also happens on a website editor. But, when I am connected to the internet via Wifi, everything load properly. This is my work computer, so I have to be able to connect through the Ethernet cable to access everything. Please help me!
I mostly use Safari. But I also tried it on Firefox, Mozilla, and Camino. Mac OS X. It's my work computer, so I've only tried it at the office. I have to be connected through the Ethernet cable to access my files and email on the server.

Which Macbook Pro to buy as a college student?
There are 3 different Macbook Pro's out there that I can buy with the rebate / reduced price / free iPod Touch. The problem is I don't know which one to buy. Many people said that the difference between a 2.4 and 2.5 core 2 duo cpu is only 5%. Then there is a bit of difference from 256mb to 512mb of the 8600m graphics card.
Basically I will outline what I will be needing from a laptop so you guys can help me make the right decision. But for now before I say what the outline is, you bought your Macbook Pro; did you choose the right one? If you didn't and you could go back in time, which one would you have bought?
Anyways, obviously the laptop is for college work. So Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop and such. But of course there will be some gaming here and there. I am a Blizzard fanatic and I only play Blizzard games. From diablo 2, starcraft and now Warcraft 3 is pretty much all I play. I am not even going to try WoW as it could probably ruin my college carreer.
But the game I'm really anticipating is Starcraft 2. Which Macbook Pro would be able to handle that game in your opinion?
But I hope these information is good enough so you guys will know which one I should buy. But if you guys have any other questions on what I will be using the MBP for then let me know so I can help you help me pick the right decision.
Thanks!If you're going to use your new laptop for college use/gaming/general use, my recommendation is going for the $1799 MacBook Pro 2.4GHz. I recommend this one over the others for a few reasons. As mentioned previously, the 0.1GHz in processor speed in essentially unnoticeable. With regard to RAM, its always best to have your system maxed out in order to achieve its full capacity. However, I do recommend going through www.otherworldcomputing.com or a 3rd party RAM merchant to purchase your additional RAM. You can get it for a drastically reduced price there, and then have an AASP install it for you. Bear in mind that installing RAM yourself could void your warranty. My point about the RAM is, the 2GB standard in the $1799 MBP version is sufficient. Also, the graphics card. 256MB should be sufficient to support your gaming, and unless you plan on getting a large display, it shouldn't be necessary to double the VRAM. So, based on the information you provided, the lower-end model should be plenty enough for your needs. Hope this helps.

how do i uninstall iphoto? it was preinstalled on my macbook pro when I bought it used and I can only update with the previous owners password.

Then you can simply move iPhoto from the Applications folder to the Trash,
sign into the App Store with your own AppleID
reload the "Featured" main page of the AppStore with ⌘R,
then download iPhoto with your own AppleID.
Make a backup of your iPhoto Library, before your launch the new iPhoto the first time,
If your current system is not Yosemite, you can only buy a boxed iLife 11 version of iPhoto to install it independent of the previous owner. -
I am using my old iPhone for playlist for my Dad's funeral as that meets the crematorium requirements. Some tracks - uploaded from personal CDs to MacBook Pro and successfully transferred to new iPhone (with small doc) won't transfer on syncing. Most do, but why won't some, of my own music sync when others off the same album and in the same playlist do? I have now checked the storage, freed up 766MB, how can i not sync (and get everything i've just deleted back) but upload the required tunes? All help appreciated, many thanks x x x

I just got to school after getting a new screen put on my 13in macbook pro. when i opend up my macbook there was only a apple simble and the loading sing with a bar at the botton it took fovere to load, one it loaded and opend up there was a few options to pic from saying i could get all my datata back, i got confused and called the tec support where they wanted me to spend 90$ to back up my data, i feel as if they fixed my screen my data should be there when i go on it. Apple has a 90 warranty warranty on all of their repairs. You should take your computer back to the repair shop. Or call Apple Customer Relations (800) 767-2775. Wait for a human to come on the line and ask politely and firmly that you want to be transferred over to the Customer Relations department. Tell them your issue.

Just select Print in Safari and then, in the bottom left-hand corner, select PDF and you can save it to whichever flavor pdf file you like.
