Personalize settings not getting saved in the portal

Hi all,
In the SRM portal, I need to personalise the settings according to my needs.
In the list of Shopping carts displayed in the POWL i dont want all the columns to be displayed, so I selected the columns that I wanted and saved the layout. But on logging off and logging in again the newly created and saved layout is not present.
Please help.

    Hi  experts,
    We are creating a protoype for one of the standard HCM form for change in working time. When we initiate the process, the workflow is supposed to identify the agent(which is the manager in this case) and push the work item in the inbox of the manager.
    In our issue, we are able to see the workitem in SAP inbox, but the same work item is not getting displayed in the portal.
    If we try to approve from the SAP inbox, the hard coded message u201CWork item can only be executed using the Portal and the UWLu201D comes. [this comes through the method of  one of the tasks 17900101 which we are using for approving the form]
    We commented the message by using a Z class. Now we donu2019t get the hardcoded message, but still the workflow does not complete from here.
    Can this be aan integration issue of the workflow tasks with the portal??Can someone elaborate on this??

    You have to say to your portal team to modify their XML file as above. In simple you hvae to configure the task in the portal and in the SWFVISU txn as follows with the following vizualization parameters
    Task TS17900101 and visualization type is JavaWebDynpro
    APPLICATION     ApproveFormApp
    PACKAGE     sap.com/pa~asr~formstep

  • Output type not getting saved in the PO

    we are facing one issue where output type is not getting saved in the PO.
    we give one output type and than save it , after going back to the PO we see that it is not there.and no output issued
    the PO is released properly and there is no issue , any idea what could be the reason for it

    Check in SU3 t.code, did check box selected u201CDelete After Outputu201D in Spool Control segment in Default TAB
    Also check Partner Function VN maintained in Default values TAB in NACR--- > EF Application for your output type
    Cross check partners {VN, PI, GS) are assigned to your PO output type in Partner Roles per Message Type

    Double-click the white Adobe Reader Icon to open a new windows.
    Double-Click the "Adobe Reader X Installer.pkg" file inside.
    If it has already been installed it will notify you and say that it has been installed already.
    If you no longer have those files go here to get the latest version of Adobe Reader.

    It sounds to me from researching the other white 'icon' you have that you are trying to install a copier by the brand of Rico Aficio.
    Possibly the Aficio 2090/2105.
    If so the install CD/Driver download for that copier must have also wanted you to install Adobe Reader to view the User Guides/ Documentation included.
    If you are trying to install said device then double click the white icon labeled Ricoh_Aficio...double click the installer file inside of that.
    It should run a setup/install window like Adobe Reader did then go from there. If it has already been install also you can go to your System Preferences -> Printers to see if it installed correctly and is working properly.
    You can get to system preferences by clicking the Apple icon very upper left on your screen and selecting it from the drop down.

    We have implemented single sign on (SSO) and we do not create users in the portal as user/pwd come from OID.
    Now becoz of this the portal tables are not getting populated.I require that all the users of the OID to be populated in the portal tables. How can I do it.I depserately require it.

    You can use the function wwsec_api.activate_portal_user to create the shadow records in the portal repository.

  • Adobe Form not getting displayed on the portal

    Hi,
    From the MSS portal when I run the process, the associated adobe form(using HCM) doesn't get displayed on the portal. Initially the problem was with higher version of acrobat reader but now it is solved. Now I am not getting any error or warning but adobe form still not getting displayed.

  • Any iviews not getting opened from the portal content.

    Recenlty i found that the any of the iviews of the portal content are not getting opened.When i click on any of the iviews a blank page pops up.But the iviews when dispayed in the top level navigation gets opened there.Even the personalize option in the masthead pops with a blank screen.
    Am not able to figure where the problem is exactly.Pls help.

    We are using IE-7 and as per our clients requirements the portal has to be run on IE-7.May be this may be the browser problem but what settings i need to do to make all iviews running fine.This problem was not earlier but i am seeing this since a week.And all iviews pop up with a blank screen.

    Unable to capture some screen shots. I am getting the sound of camera-clicks, but not finding them in the desktop. Searched in the finder to locate, whether these are gettiing saved in any other locations, but didn't find. Followed some of the instructions in discussion forum, unsuccessfully.

    This report is for batch generation of WSR and not changing the WSR. Internally itcalls the transaction 'PT01' only.

  • File not getting Saved on Application Server

    Hello All,
    We created a file in "Automatic Payment Transactions (F110 Transaction)" and are able to save the text file on Local drive. But for our e-banking requirement we need to store this file on our application server. The configuration settings in OBPM4 are already done and now system is picking the default application server path while saving file in "Payment Medium - > DME Administration" transaction. The problem is - although the system is picking the required path of application server but file is not getting saved. The error coming is: File <path> could not be opened (Message Number: FZ231).
    We have checked for 777 authorisations (OS authorisations) for the folder.
    Please suggest that what can be done to resolve th issue.

    What exactly we need to check in Payment program? We are not able to save the file on application server. There is no problem while saving the same in local drive.

  • Adobe form - Text field not getting saved.

    We created an application in which user will enter the data and submit it . The details entered in the screen will be saved in the Ztable.
    Our problem is when the user enters the data in the TextField UI of the adobe form it is not getting saved in the table. In development its working fine.
    In production for few users it is getting saved and for few users it is not getting saved.
    We are not able to find out the root cause of the problem.
    Any help will be appreciated

    As you said it is working for few users,
    Then you need to check Adobe reader installed for users who are having problem.

  • ESS Leave request not getting Saved to Infotype

    Hai All,
    I created a Leave Workflow wherein there are 5 levels of Approval. After the final approver approves, the Workflow will be Completed but, the data is not getting saved to the Infotype. I ran the reports required, but still it is not getting saved.
    I have created a User Decision Step and the type of that is: BOR -> Decision -> Process. I think, the BOR is not returning the Value Approve or Reject correctly. I haven't made any changes to the BOR. So, it has to return the Status correctly right? Please correct me if I am wrong.
    According to Outputs of the above step (Aprove, Reject or Obselete), further steps are designed. But, on Final Check for Approved (where the status is checked for Approval), it returns False as the Status is set as SENT  (?).( I checked the Workflow Log and the status there seems to be SENT, instead of Approved) I think, due to this status, the Infotye is not getting Saved.
    Please help me on this.

    Has your carrier been having issues with Call Display? Do the telephone numbers come up when people call, or does it just show 'Unknown Number' or 'Blocked' ?

    Try going to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and delete the existing backup so iTunes creates an entire new one vice changing the existing one.
