Phone Applicatio​ns resort to original locations and/or locations in whihc they were added to the phone

This weekend my phone started cycling on and off for no apparent reason on Friday and Saturday. I replaced the battery about 3 times (properly using the shut down) to see if it was a battery problem but it was not. Then on one of the cycling on/off on Saturday the phone reset all the applications it appears to original pages and locations and the apps I have added (125) all over the place on the first tab/page in no logical order that I had them sorted in (my guess is they are now sorted in how they were added to the phone date and time wise, but that is just a guess). I have since moved my apps back to where they were but when reset the phone they all went back to unorganized. I moved them a few times and every time their location gets reset to an illogical order again. I was on chat here for an hour plus and after 45 minutes the first chat rep could not solve the issue so he just disconnected me. I reconnected, got the same rep, he read my name, and immediately disconnected me. I then did this with three new reps, they read the log after saying hello and their standard lines, then immediately disconnected the chat. So HP provides no service. If you want to call them it will cost you $14.95. IF you want to email them, they provide no email address. If you go to their free Chat service and they don't want to or don't know how to correct your issue they just disconnect you. I copied all the logs to a Word document so I'll probably just go to Verizon and they won't do anything so when my contract ends, I'll be with another provider and another phone company's products. But anyway, back to the issue at hand. I tried to move a couple of apps around then do a Palm backup to see if that would lock their locations in and then restarted/reset the phone and it still moved the apps back to a nonsensical location. I used this phone for a year and a quarter never having to move apps back to where I had moved them after resets but apparently I think HP did something this weekend that ended all that. I am not sure what all of your experiences have been but I don't think a week goes by on average that my phone does not have to be reset due to its problems or because I have run out of battery power and need to put in a new charged battery, with the Apps all over the place, this phone has basically become useless from a "smart Phone" standpoint. Anyone else having this issue and know of a solution?

Saying that I have solved the issue is not quite right...but...here is what I ended up doing and how I have in a way attenuated the problem...
I decided to reset the phone, start it from new....really. I mean, not installing absolutelly anything at all and going step by step like it was the first time. By not installing anything I include the 5.1.1 release. Very important part of the process of getting my phone to work again.
Every app I wanted to keep, I simply downloaded it again (I actually erased purposely the back ups to make sure it wasnt an issue with a corrupt file). The same goes for adding music and libraries.
As for emails, which were, I beleive, the dataacessd issue that kept on reporting to apple on low memory...I simply decided to keep only the main accounts I have...and NOT SYNC IT WITH ICLOUD!!! I took special attention to blocking SPAM from being sent to the phone...since I was worried if maybe this could be a malware...(I have to say I am still in doubt if it isn't...)
I downloaded an app called Memory Free, which shows perfectly that my memory is still running at the edge...at the most it reaches 20 Mbs...instead of the 400 or 500 it is supposed to be, but the crashes are much less frequent now. I would say it only happens if I am multitasking against 3 or 4 apps at the same time.
I can listen to music again...and I can be multitasking again...I can write messages without the app closing on me...then again, I insist...APPS STILL CRASH, only not as often as before.
Apple absolutely doesn't reply...and certainly aren't even looking into getting this fix...the Genius at the store or over the phone...or whatever, arent aware of the issue at all (or they pretend not to be)....and insist this is a HW issue, which more and more it seems to me like a "HW design flaw" then an actual HW issue.
I have to say I am certainly falling out of love with Apple all together (iMac, Ipad, iCapsule...), since literally they are all falling apart with issues.
