Phone won't connect

Hi
I have installed and uninstalled different versions of PC Suite sevaerl times and used the registry cleaner.
I always get the same error i.e. when installing PC Suite will not auto-detect the serial port. I manually select COM1 as I only have ome serial port.
Not surpisingly, when the software is loaded it says that no phone connection is detected then says to reinsatll PC Suite.
Where am I going wrong/
I am running Windows XP SP2
PC Suite 4.88 (although have had the same probs with 4.81 and 6.7)
6310i (but same problems with 6210)
Any help would be appreciated, this is driving me mad!

Ok I have now got past the problem above (PCSuite cleaner took out someting taht was causing this error)
BUT......still no luck. get as far as selecting cable then connecting cable, then phone.....then wait forever whilst it tries to make connection.
Sister - you said it may take a while to connect, you don't mean more than 30 minutes surely?
What else can I try now?

When and where was the iPad/charger purchased? It's covered by a 1-year warranty.
The problem may be the USB cable.

After iOS 6.1.1 update, phone won't connect to data network

I've gotten suggestions that I update the software, but phone says it needs to be connected to WIFI to download update...

Phone won't connect to wifi saying authentication problem

My phone after being connected to sky wifi from sept 2013, has all of a sudden started hardly connecting, and always says 'authentication problem'. I have my iPad connected to the wifi too, but this has also been connecting fine since sept 2013.The connection to my phone drops a lot, and then when it is connected it is very, very slow. It doesn't drop at all on my iPad. Please can someone help me. And put it in layman terms please, thank you. EM

Two things to try. Change the wifi channel on the Sky router/Hub itself, instruction on a post at the top of this forum. And try forgetting the network on the iPhone; Settings->WiFi, and select the network ticked. Select Forget This Network and confirm it. Then reconnect to the Sky router/Hub by selecting the wifi network and entering the password again on the iPhone. Try the latter first, then change the wifi channel on the Sky Hub/router after this step. If you don't have an iPhone, then use the steps appropriate for that phone to basically do the same as above, for forgetting and reconnecting the phone to the wifi network.

Phone Won't Connect to Dock

I've had my HTC Rhyme for a year now. Up until last month it worked flawlessly. Suddenly it will no longer connect to Dock Mode. I've checked everything that I can and have figured out the following:
1. The phone still charges when resting on the dock.
2. Dock Mode works when I enter into it manually.
3. The dock is still listed under my linked bluetooth devices.
4. The dock will not connect to the device when resting the phone on the dock.
As far as I can tell, the phone is not connecting at all to the dock but it is still getting the charge. I can't find any other topics with this specific problem and was wondering if anyone else at all is having the same issue?

I took my docking station over to my boyfriend's house. It worked there. So I put it in a new spot at home, after straightening the cord. It works now. Weird but it works now. Try it, it may work for you too.

Hi I have an iPhone 5 and I am trying to connect my phone to BT Openzone FON
When I try to connect to the network a pop up appears where I have to fill in my details so I am able to use the internet connection
But for a while now whenever the pop up appears when I try to connect to BT Openzone FON or any other network that requires the pop up and ask for my details always appears with a BLANK PAGE!!!!
Every time the page appears I wait for a little while to see if it eventually loads but then a second pop up appears which is a message and the message says
"ERROR OPENING PAGE"
"HOTSPOT LOGIN COULD NOT OPEN THE PAGE BECAUSE THE SERVER STOPPED RESPONDING"
Please could someone help me and solve this problem for me!

The tips in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1591 will usually resolve any issue that would cause the iPhone to not show up in iTunes on a Mac.
Make sure your iPhone is directly connected to your Mac.
If the issue persists, try reinstalling the latest version of itunes. http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Blutooth phone won't connect

hello, i got a samsung phone awhile ago, an A736. it wouldn't connect with my new macbook pro, i figured this was a phone issue. but then i tried to connect via bluetooth to my old powerbook, and it works fine. it's so weird... my macbook pro and phone can see each other and pair up just fine, but then the connection goes down. if i try to browse my phone from the laptop it sees the folders but they are all empty, and if i try to send anything from my phone to my macbook pro i immediately get a "sending failed" message. but it all works fine with the older powerbook. both machines are running leopard. is there any way to fix this?

My phone won't connect to the internet even though it says I have 3G. As soon as I get home it connects to the WIFI and I get a flood of emails etc come through. Can anyone explain what the problem might be?

Whilst I'm at work I can't seem to connect to the internet, despite the home screen telling me I have a 3G connection. I can't get anything to refresh at all, until I go home and my phone auto connects to the WIFI and then I get all my emails and app notifications come through in a flood.
All other aspects of my phone working fine.
Can anyone help?

Check to see if you have cellular data enabled for mail.
Go to Settings > Cellular and check the apps under "USE CELLULAR DATA FOR:"
