Photo Album scrolls to top!

How can i stop the javascript from scrolling to the top of
the web page when the Slide show starts.
The photo album is a bit lower on the page and each time the
user decides to start the display again, the page gets reset to the
top and the album is too low to see. I just want the slideshow to
start without jumping to top so user can see.
How can I avoid this?
I thought it might be scrollto command but I can't find it.
here is example:

Thanks

Well thats because u have a onclick command attached to a
href command. add return false; behind the onclick commands
so it will be:
(example)
<a href="#"
onclick="function() return false;">

  • Camera roll photo album scrolled above where I can click it

My iphone 4 photo album app has my only album, "camera roll," appearing under the heading (Albums) where I cannot click on the album but I can scroll down the page to see that it is there.  Any help on why this happened and a way to fix it?

This started for me earlier this year, now it happens about once every 2 weeks.  Only fix is to reboot the phone. Of course it happens when I need something quick, making it a pain.  Hopefully somebody get this glitch submitted into Apple so that it sorts itself out in the next software release.

I made a photos page with links to 2 pages of photos. when i go to the photos page, and click on the photo album, only the top photo shows up in it's own window. i can't get my photo page at all. (i have unchecked "include page in navigation menu"). if i leave it checked so the individual albums show in the navigation menu, the pages load just fine. what am i doing wrong here?

What type of template did you use for the page with the links to the other pages?
You can't use a photo page for the "gallery" page that has the links to your "albums" or photo pages. you have to use a different template, for example "Welcome," "About Me," or a Blank template. (Some of the "About me" templates--and possibly some of the "Welcome" templates have place holders specically designed to drag albums to. When you do, a new "photos" page is created, and the picture on the first page is automatcially made a link to the photos page.)
see this article for more details.
If my answer doesn't solve your issue, it would be helpful if you could post your url so we could see the problem for ourselves.

  • Jumping to the bottom or top of a photo album?

Just wondering whether there was a way on the iPhone to jump directly to the bottom or top of a photo album, like the Safari jump to the top tap? Would be very useful for photo albums in the hundreds.

There is no quick way of doing it, either scroll or exit the album access a different album then access the previous album again and you will be back on top

  • My events photo albums have all been renamed with a number followed by IMPRT instead of the date which was how they were originally named. Also the photo now showing on the top of each folder is not actually in that folder. How do I restore?

My events photo albums have all been renamed with a number followed by IMPRT (deleting the date on which they were taken) Also the photo now showing on the top of each folder is taken from a different event and so is not actually in the album it is sitting on top of. This happened when I linked to itunes. Any idea how to restore it to how it looked before?

One thing that I find odd is that iTunes used to rebuild the .itl file when you deleted it.  It seems as if the newer iTunes somehow broke this old capability.  If you delete the .itl file it can't rebuild it- it simple treats this as if this is a fresh installation and completely ignores the fact that the .xml file has all the data in it.  I think Apple needs to bring back this old "feature".  Of course, the negative with that was that you lost all of the "Date Added" info along with some other stuff but at least it still kept the favorites info etc. (and I think maybe even the path although I don't believe I ever tried that because my account path has never changed until now).
One side note: I can't find where the iTunes Windows SDK is.  I was hoping to try to use that to access the .itl "database" and write a utility to fix this situation.  Seems like this has moved from its original location...

  • Facebook Problem - Scrolls to Top When Closing Photo

If I click on a photo on my newsfeed in Facebook, as soon as I exit the photo, Facebook scrolls all the way to the top of the page. This is really irritating and I was hoping someone might have some advice as to how to solve this.

  • How do I remove individual photos from the ipad without changing the photo album in my lap top where the photo album is stored??

How do I remove individual photos from the ipad2 without affecting the photo album in my lap top where the photo album resides?

    You don't.
To remove a photo from your iPad that is located in a photo album on your computer selected to be transferred to your iPad under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, the only way to remove the photo from your iPad is by removing if from the album on your computer followed by a sync.

i really hope for that in the X6 ((
I think you can achieve what you want to do on the X6. On the X6 an album is termed a folder.
If you go to the Gallery so that you can see the large list of thumbnail photos and select
Options > Folder options > New folder
Create the folder with a name of your choice.
You should then see a folder icon appear at the top of the large list of thumbnail images. If you then select, or 'Mark', the images that you want to group together by selecting
Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark (you may have to scroll down before Mark/Unmark appears).
Once you have a little tick by all the photos that you want to group together then select
Options > Folder options > Move to folder and choose the folder you created earlier.
You should then have only those images grouped together in a single folder (or album ). You can create as many folders as you like. I use this method to group all my wallpaper images together and also any system images that the gallery may discover so that they don't clog up the main gallery.
Note: From what I can see the actual locations of the photographs on either drive C: or drive E: remain unchanged, only their listing within the gallery is changed so that an image appears in the main group or within a 'folder'.
Hope that helps and I hope I've understood you correctly in terms of what you want to do.

  • Photo Albums Not Displaying On TP

Hey everyone, spent a few days looking for an answer without any luck, so I apologize if this has been discussed before. I recently loaded about 100 photo albums to my TP using USB file transfer. All images are saved as .jpeg. Half of the photo albums loaded normally, but the other half turn sideways with a vertical white line and another white line at a slight angle crossing it instead of displaying one of the images in from the folder. When I enter the folder, the images are replaced with small icons that flash but don't load, and the loading cycle spins but never refreshes the images. The number of images in the folder keeps changing as well. When I reconnect to my computer, the images are intact in their respective folders, and can be read as normal through USB.
I have tried deleting and re-transferring. I have also tried creating a new folder on the TP and transferring the images into the new folder. I tried renaming the files to .jpg and .jpeg. None of the techniques I have seen online have helped.
    Any help??
I am running the most recent update of webOS, and I have not installed any cracks or foreign software. I am attempting to index the albums using the webOS photo app.
    Thanks!

Found this information, but I am not sure if the fix will apply to my system? I am not certain if Internalz or Luna are factory installs or downloadable apps?

Okay, fixed it. Took longer to try various thing and the fix is failry easy.
    1)  Launcher to Settings, open Device Info.
    2) Tap the More Info button, then the Software up top of the next screen.
    3) Scroll down and tap Photos & Videos v3.0.2
    4) A pop=up should appear, and seemed mine took a while to show the Done button.
Also went to Internalz Pro, Preferences, scrolled down to Image Viewer and finally turned the Register as file handler to the off position.
Unsure if the second part was needed or not. When I closed Internalz Pro and opened Photos and Video everything was back to normalagain.
Final Step is to restart Luna, and then the TouchPad. Otherwise you'll end up with several horizontal panes meshed together on the preview - making viewing quite annoying!

  • Photo Album app and Video viewing crashes the whole phone

    Hi.
Not sure whether there is already another forum for this?
    I am running android 4.3.
I have found that when I go into my photo album and scroll right the way down to the bottom of the page, the pictures stop showing a thumbnail and instead all I am shown are blacked out squares.  When I then scroll to the top of the page the thumbnails that were previously there then turn black too.  This then has the effect of crashing the whole phone.  What I mean by this is that it becomes unresponsive, the back and home buttons do not work and I am then shown a barrage of "Album is not working" or "Google+ is not working" or "system is not working" messages..
This is also the case when I am attempting to view videos.  The phone will play some videos but then all of a sudden it will begin to become unresponsive in the same way as I have mentioned before.
When the phone has become unresponsive, the screen times out and I am unable to access my phone again for a good few minutes. When I can eventually access the phone, I have found the same sort of messages and unresponsiveness will occur again when I enter these apps or try to view videos through the movies app or another video viewing app and I am forced to restart the phone.
The issue with album app occurs every time I try to access the photos at the very bottom of the page.   The issue with the videos appears to be more temperamental and will occur every so often and through either the movies app or when viewing videos through alternate sources such as facebook.
I have only recently bought the Z1 and I have to say I am incredibly disappointed by the device so far!
Can anyone offer any sort of guidance or tips on what I should do?
    Thanks!
    Gurpal

Sounds like there could be a problem with the indexation of your media files. So I suggest that you try to clear data for the media storage application.

  • Trouble Accessing Photo Albums

When I go to the Photo album, it lists the albums I have. Right now all I have is the Camera Roll and Wallpapers album. The top album- Camera Roll, is blocked by the Album header in Ipod Touch. It won't scroll down to access the album. Can anyone help.

  • I somehow hid every photo in every photo album.

I somehow hid every photo in every photo album. When you scroll the mouse over the albums, it still tells you how many photo's are in it. Once you double click the album, all the photo's show up the same. I somehow set a particular photo to show up instead of the real one. When you doible click on a certain photot, the real one does appear. They are not lost, but a big pain because you don't know what you're clicking on until you do. Any advise? The unhise doesn't work. I also spent 2 hours, draggig each album onto desk top and re introducing it into IPhoto. I shut down IPhoto and when I went back into it, realized it went back to the way it was!!!! Help!

Sounds like the library is damaged.  make a temporary backup of the library and launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild the library. Select the options to rebuild the small thumbnails .
If that does'nt correct the problem repeat the process but select all option.

  • 1.1.4 - Photo Albums title overshadows first album name?

    Hmm. Is this just me?
After the update, when I click Photos, it shows the list of albums, starting with the overall "Photo Library" item, as usual, followed by my own folders.
But the Title "Photo Albums", now is laid on top of that first item. In fact, it stays on top as you scroll. ("Movies" does similiar on Videos, which I hadn't noticed either.)
Not a biggie, but I swear it didn't cover up the first item before. (?)
Edit: hmm. maybe it's just because previous to the update, my list was partially scrolled downward. Again, not a biggie and maybe just my overimagination!

This has always been the case. The update has not changed this.

  • Problem in my Saved Photos Album

I recently updated my iPod with the latest software in Apple. But when I checked my Photos icon, my Saved Photos album is not visible. I tried to scroll it down and I saw the album placed on the very top, hidden behind the "Album".. What am I supposed to do fix this?

  • *** iOS4 Update: Photo Albums No Longer Alphabetical Order  ***

Hey all, I have a 3GS and just did the 4.0 update today. Everything works fine, no errors, etc........but when I go into my Photo Albums...
...and for example; Click "My Vacation". The photo album opens up at the bottom, so I have to scroll upwards to see the photos, where-as before you always started at the top of the album and scrolled down to see all your photos.
Not only that, they are completely out of alphabetical order. I've went into the folder itself on my computer and made sure it was organized.
My friends phone did the same thing on an entirely seperate computer. Any ideas how to get it alphabetical again?

This is a MAJOR problem for me. Several of my photo albums are actually screen shots of Hebrew texts for prayers. Until now, the photos displayed in filename order, so that the screens shots of text were in the proper order. Now they do not!
I use a PC, and I am not going to buy a Mac just to have the power to re-order my photos within an album! That's ridiculous to require that!
This has only been an issue since the ios4 update, and Apple needs to fix it!
