Photo app not working- any suggestions on how to get it to work?
My photo app will not show photos. When I touch the icon the screen goes black and that's it. I can hit the iPad button to exit.
Try going to System Preferences>iCloud, uncheck Mail, restart your Mac, then go back and check Mail again.

On the app store app, I only get a blank/white screen. If I search for an app, nothing happens, only the blank/white screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My screensaver won't automatically bring up pictures from my iphoto albums as it always did in the past since I installed Mountain Lion. I do use an external hard drive to save all my pictures and music on that is always connected to my MacBookPro. Any suggestions what I may be doing wrong. I find it frustrating to have to set it daily as I close my computer down every night.

from the contextual menu. A folder should open. Inside it there should be one or more files with a long name beginning with "com.apple.screensaver." Move those files to the Trash. Set your screensaver preferences and see whether they stick. -
Most the photos/music/memos are memories I'd like to keep but if I took it into the store would they wipe it?

Hi. I have Snap To Grid and By Kind enabled in Lion but it's not working. When I trash an icon, instead of snapping the remaining icons to the By Kind grid, a space is left where the trashed icon was. Any suggestions on how to get Snap To Grid working?
Where are you talking about the Desktop?
I don't see where it is possible to set both Snap to Grid and By Kind they seem to be mutually exclusive.
And then
If I have Snap to grid set I get the behavior you describe. If I have By Kind set the icons stay together and close up the space from the deleted icon.

i have purchased itunes match but the cloud will not load on my ipad 4.it works on my iphone 5 & it originally worked on my ipad.the only music that will show up is stuff that i bought from the itunes store.any ideas on how to get this to work?
On the MBP, in iTunes, switch to Song view and enable the iCloud Status column by pulling down View > View options and selecting the option for "iCloud Status." Close the small window. Look for any tracks that have a status of "waiting." If you see several of them disable iTunes Match while holding down the Option key. Quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then open it again and turn iTM back on. Let it compelete the scan. Wait until all tracks that are "waiting" have a status of either "matched" or "uploaded."
On the iPad, turn off iTunes Match then launch the Music app and let the contents clear out. Power cycle the iPad for good measure, then re-enable the service once all the tracks in iTunes have been processed. -
We just installed maverick and the new final cut. On 2 separate computers we have had it crash while using final cut and have lost the project. If you do not have, or remember, the passcode for Restrictions, the only option available to you is to reset the device to factory settings via itunes.

If you are certain that iCal is no longer present on your computer...
To reinstall iCal:
1. Insert the Leopard Installation disk into the computer.
2. The disk will appear on the desktop.
3. Double click on the "Optional Installs" folder.
4. Double click on the "Optional Installs.mpkg."
5. Click on (Continue) in Introduction.
6. Click on (Continue) in Software License Agreement.
7. Click on (Agree) to agree to the terms of the software license agreement.
8. Click on the disclosure arrow ▶ next to Applications.
9. Select (✓) iCal.
10. Click (Continue).
11. After iCal has been reinstalled, download and install the Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update to bring iCal up to the most recent version. -
When i charge my ipod it workd but as soon as i take it out the charger it doesnt work any suggestion on how to make it work?

Go to settings>messages>send and receive at>you can be reached by iMessages at> Uncheck your phone number and you can select your Apple ID emal address if you want to use that for messages.
