Photo commenting not saving

Ok, here is what I have. I created a web photo gallery
through Photoshop CS2 and so all the code was produced for me (im
not code dumb just not saavy yet). On the iamges pages you can
leave feedback, there is a save feedback option and a email
feedback option, the email works fine, but the save does not save.
Here is the code that I believe deals with that area

Those are the options in iPhoto's preferences such as background color when viewing the thumbnails, etc. If you didn't make any changes to them before then you don't have to worry about it.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • AP workflow comments not saved after posting

    dear
Ive posted it in controlling forum, but it had to be rather here.
    I
when i check SAP AP workflow document overview id like to see comments entered by accountant as the reason for document parking. as soon as the document gets posted i see the approval and coding workflow path but comments are not saved any longer. do you know what might be a reason for that? why it happens? maybe it is related to specific settings for workflow?
workflow log for the posted docs is neither showing this information.
    your advice much appreciated.
    thank you very much!
    regards

thank you for trying to help me.
Well, it looks this way: invoice is parked as PO document via workflow and send for approval - for different reasons (price difference, no GR, any PO found etc). Accountant while parking enters comment - to inform approver about the issue.
Sometimes the invoices bounces back already coded and ready for posting, sometimes is rejected - then we have 2nd comment as the reason for rejection. When finally invoice is ready for posting and is posted - these all comments (for parking, for posting) are disappearing. They are not saved in workflow overview history.
The posting might be done manually via workflow, automatically, or via tcode to post parked doc. But in anyway - comments are not saved. I am sure its possible to review invoice workflow history (if appicable) and see the issues identified for that invoice (audit purposes for instance). But I dont know how to check what should be set up for the workflow to have all these comments saved in workflow overview history (not long text, not WF log).
When i.e. you enter WF overview history you see name and action (park, reject etc) - when was clicking on that line it was seen below the screen the comment.
Thank you very much for your help!

  • Photo adjustments not saving

When I try to adjust levels etc it is not saving my changes. When I click done, then close the event, when I come back to the event it is still the original photo. I have tried exporting, and duplicating the photo and nothing saves my adjustments. Is there something I am completely missing here?
    Thanks!

  • Photo boot not saving my pictures

Till last Photo Booth was working File. Then I updated to Mountain Lion. Now when I open Photo Booth It says unable to find directory. Whn I say use the existing one it starts, but then when i click on the camera icon to take photo and save it, there comes an error message, "Phot Booth Couldn' save your photo, Photo Booth encountered an error when trying to save your photos. Your photos cannot be saved at this time." Please suggest and advice.

Try image capture or a card reader - after the photos are safely on your Mac then use the camera's format command to reformat the memory card

  • Edited photos are not saved in Iphoto 09

I make my edits in iphoto 09 in my library photos imported from my iphone. I can perform the edits on the screen in small or full screen, either one, and then I click done. And it does not save the changes, it reverts back to the original which remains unedited in the photo event folder or library area. What is defective and how to fix? Just switched from PC to MAC. hmmmm.

TD- I discovered that changes such as red eye, or crop will save. The changes which do not save are the zooming in using the 1 key as described in the video tutorial of Iphone editing. If I do that, and then the area of interest is indeed enlarged, and a small sub screen shows up to allow me to move the focus area around even more to highlight what I want, then I click done and nothing is saved? This would be the most common use I would have for edits.
    Many thanks

  • Why is my photo collage not saving correctly?

I have only just got PSE 9, and am enjoying all the things you can do with it, so I thought I would try to make a photo collage for my family. I watched the video and it seemed straightforward enough, and I have made the collage. However, when I go to save it, although it appeas in the organiser, you cannot see a preview of the picture. All you see is a what I can only describe as a torn picture frame with one corner turned up. I can double click on the image in finder n my mac, and it will open the collage perfectly. I can also save it as a jpeg, and view it in preview. I want to order the print, so that I can get it a bigger size, but when I select it, it does not recognise the file type, either as a photoshop file or as jpeg. I also tried finding it using a jessops application that i downloaded some time ago, but the filename is greyed out. I have to admit, I'm at a bit of a loss!

The collage maker has a few bugs. I can’t even use mine as I get an error message as soon as I select any size image. Also there is a very restricted choice of templates. I’m on Windows so you experience is possibly different.
You can do it manually in Full Photo Edit
    Click File >>New >>Blank File

  • Shared Review Comments not Saving

    My System
    Acrobat 10.0.0
    Win 7 64 bit
Hello everyone for some reason my system is not properly uploading my comments on a shared review.  When I create a comment and select publish comments it shows a message that it was published but it doesnt.  Has anyone ver heard of this happening and have any idea on how to fix it.
Just as a side note my disributed forms seem to work fine, it just the shared review.

I have tried sending rieviews through a sharepoint server, and a network and as for the file both linked or attached.  This is the case for both reviews I post or someone else, even when others are commenting without any problems.

  • All photos in icloud photo stream not saved in local mac library

Basically, I have a shared icloud photo stream that is 1003 pictures, if I select all of them and say show in library, it only highlights 992 pictures on my local drive. Is there any way I can reimport a photostream?

    Hello asbreck,
You can use these steps to reimport photos from a Shared Photo Stream.
To save photos from shared photo streams you subscribe to:
Photos in shared photo streams are view-only. However, you can import the photos into your iPhoto library, apply edits, share the updated photos, and add them to your slideshows and books.
In the Source list, select Photo Stream.
Double-click the shared stream containing the photos you want to save.
    Select the photos.
Import the photos into your library by dragging them to Events in the Source list.
iPhoto '11: Subscribe to shared photo streams
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11959
It's important to note that if some of these pictures are already in your library and you reimport them, you will have a duplicate of the picture.  If you can isolate the 11 pictures that are not in your library, I recommend importing just those 11 photos.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Best,
    Sheila M.

  • Photos are not saved to iCloud (Fotostream)

    Hello,
I would like to ask for help. All of a sudden I stopped working storing images of photos taken using the iPhone or iPad to iCloud (Fotostream). Yesterday it worked. Nothing I did not set anywhere, did not change.
Some time ago I worked iCloud to store files in Pages and Numbers on the iMac. Despite the support of Apple, when I heard from the email alone, solve this problem, but I stopped working storing photos on iCloud (Fotostream).
Please've never met anyone with this problem? Please help. I'm quite used fotostream. And it's pretty annoying. Thank you very much in advance.

So today it no longer works. I did not. Possible support from Apple again something done. Now everything over to iCloud works (files from Pages, Numbers and photos in Fotostreamu). Thank you very much.

  • CUP - Comments not saving on request.

    Hi All,
We are having an issue on CUP.  We have setup the comments field as mandatory when the request is either approved or rejected.
When the approver enters the comments and approves the requests, CUP saves the time and date of approval, however it ommits the comments.  If you view the request at the next stage, there are NO comments, just the date and time stamp.
We haven't had this problem with rejections, but there are not many rejections.
This seems to be an intermittent problem affecting multiple approvers.  Any ideas?  We are on version 5.2.
    Assistance is highly appreciated.
    Rgds,
    Rodger Harris.

    Hello Neil,
SAP Enterprise Portal: Content Management and Collaboration is not the correct space for this question as there is no Content management application involvment here. Unfortunately I don't know which application you're using to save these variance comments. Can you provide some more application detail and I will try and send this to a more appropriate dicsussion area where you will hopefully get some assistance.
    Kind regards,
    Lorcan.

  • TS1702 My camwow photos are not saving and when they do they're just black?

How do you fix your photo settings when it says you do not have permission to save these photos :L ?

Welcome to the Apple Community Catlou.
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

  • IPhone Photo Edits Not Saved with 3rd Party Apps

I have been using Postagram successfully for some time.  However, now, when I take a photo with my iPhone and save/done the edits I make, this version of the image is not uploaded to Postagram-only the original, unedited image is uploaded.
In short, I take the picture, I edit the picture, I click save/done and the edited image lives in my Camera Roll; however, only the original version is uploaded to Postagram.
Has anyone experienced this or have a solution?
    Thanks.

I have this issue but didn't recognize it until I read your post. I thought it was 2 bad photos.
I'll subscribe to this tread to see if anyone comes up with a fix.

  • Photo Editing Not Saving Changes?!  Why??

After I finish editing my photos and save them I go to upload them on another site, and all of my edits are unsaved. This keeps happening.  does anyone know why??

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.
    Should that not work:
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
    Regards
    TD
