Photoshop has started acting weird

whenever I try to do a fill layer it fills everything but my selection. When I try do draw a dashed line it's invisible. Should I reintall Photoshop? I am using CS5.5.

A logical next step is to rest your Preferences.
To reset Preferences:
If Photoshop is already open on your screen, close it (Quit). Then hold down Shift+Ctrl+Alt (Win) / Shift+Command+Option (Mac) on your keyboard and start Photoshop.
A dialog box will pop up asking if you want to delete the existing Preferences file (the "Settings"). Click Yes in the dialog box. The existing Preferences file will be scrapped and a new one will be created.

I work for Dr Pod, an iPod repair company. This sounds to be that the hard drive is dying in the iPod. As it is an older iPod it is out of its one year warranty, the iPod won't be repaired for free by Apple, and you'd need to consider wether it'd be better to have the iPod repaired by an iPod repair company such as my own, or to purchase a new one from Apple.
If you did choose to purchase a new iPod from Apple, then they do provide 10% off the cost of a new iPod if you exchange in your old one. I'm not sure if this applies to faulty ones though (I have heard of some people being turned away for having a faulty device).

Doesn't really sound like a virus.
See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

How many of these you can answer...
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

If your device has been jailbroken during the warranty, Apple will not service it.

"Hacking" of a BB would be highly unusual and unexpected -- if ever. After all, POTUS has one, and such would not be allowed if they were hackable. I believe that something else is going on, but lacking specifics, only generic advice can be given.
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If that does not work, then please return to these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and register an account so that we can provide you with direct assistance.

I am using Iphone 5. Since the last 3 weeks the phones has been acting weird. on dialling a call it get hung on disconnecting it stays on the call ending screen only. this happens for atleast 5 to 7 minutes and then it gets to normal

I have taken the phone to the service outles but the best they did was to reboot the phone it works fine for a day or two but again the same issue.
Can anyone share any info on it?

I'm glad to hear that they replaced your phone. Any experience I have had with Apple customer service and/or Genius bar has been extremely positive. While I have had positive outcomes from trouble with other phones in the past, they are not as quick and friendly. I had a Motorola phone and a Samsung phone go bad several years ago and warranty work through AT&T required that I wait for a replacement unit and then mail back the original unit to keep from being charged for the device. This usually meant almost a week without a phone. Nice to walk into Apple and walk out with a replacement device. Enjoy your phone.

Gradient fades started acting weird. Each new fade removes the previous. VERY FRUSTRATED! Please help!

I have been using CS5 for about 2 years now and suddenly it started acting up. I do a lot of gradient fading on band photos, i.e fading them into one another. I am a novice at best, but I have a working knowledge of the program. a few weeks ago my gradients started acting goofy. Normally, I could take a photo, fade the edges out to transparent multiple times on the same mask. I.e I could open a layer mask, make all the fades I wanted, and then move on to the next photo. Now, I make a fade, then when I try to make a second, it removes the first.
This same thing happened to me a few months ago but I can't remember how I fixed it. I have scoured google and gone on an endless search of people having this issue and being told to use other tools, other methods, etc. I know what I am trying to do (and have successfully done it for 2 years) for whatever reason something is tweaked, or a setting changed that won't allow me to. I have reset the gradients, followed the hard key preferences reset procedure, and even completely uninstalled the program from my rig and re-installed. Nothing has helped.

I suspect that you used to have gradient option set Foreground to Transparent, and that you now have it set to Foreground to Background.

When I tried to open the web browser the browser flashed black and white at start up, then all the applications when i open a new window are completely black, I am unable to view the drop down menus as the come out as random pixels. This happens to all new applications i have been able to open. The document window opens as plain white but if you click on it it opens a document even though you cant see any thumb nails. Some of the documents are open as normal images/files. Having been a mac user for 10 years i have never seen anything like this before, any ideas or suggestions

I have started running a virus check.
There are no viruses for OSX. Uninstall the software, repair permissions and restart your computer. Especially if it's Norton's. It's known to cause problems.
To rule out a hardware problem, run the hardware test: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11342 OS X Mountain Lion: Use Apple Hardware Test and zapp the PRAM: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11342 OS X Mountain Lion: Use Apple Hardware Test.
In the end you may need to lug your iMac down to your local AASP or an AS. Diagnostic testing is FREE!

My iPhone 4 has been acting weird since the update to iOS 5.1.1

I charged it to 100% yesterday morning and by the time I went to bed it was at 13%. I didn't do anything I don't normally do. A few games, email, check weather, sports scores; a couple hours of use.
Then this morning I was texting a buddy that's in town and when I got a response my screen just flashed on then off really quick and it make a weird static noise instead of the bell when I went to unlock the phone to read the message. Just before this I changed the volume of the ringer in settings because it sounded really high.
Has anyone else experienced anything weird since updating? I'm trying a reboot and will watch it for a while. Might be time to take it in and have it checked out.

Can't make or receive any calls. When making a call, you see the thing dialing but no tone, it rings at he other end however. When somebody trying to call me, it does not ring at my end. If you try to end the call, the phone page will just freeze, when you exit the phone page to go try the MP3 player for example, and come back, the phone is still trying to end the previous call. I tried resetting the network settings, turn the phone off and on , no difference at all. It's easter Sunday, everything is closed here in Montreal.

Photoshop CC crashes, acts weird

I just downloaded Photoshop CC a few days ago, then also downloaded Nik and Topaz plug-ins for it. After using it a few times, the image I'm working on fragments into about 5 pieces, or hops to another image when I'm working on one. I'm still able to use CS6 with Nik and Topaz plug-ins without difficultly. What should I do? Photoshop CC is unusable.

Thanks John for the reply, however the plug-ins are the latest updates. After buying and downloading Photoshop CC, I contacted Nik for the Photoshop CC plug-ins, they sent me an email with a link to download. And then I downloaded the latest Topaz plug-ins for CC from their site. I do suspect the plug-ins, though I'm not sure where to start.

Ever since the last IOS update, my Iphone 5c has been acting weird. The time is always off; It says that its 9:30 in the morning when it's actually 2pm. I try to fix it, but it just goes back to not working. Please help!!

I go to settings and switch "Automatic time" off and then back on. It works for a while, but then just goes back to being off. I've tried manually setting the time, but it just goes back to what it was before. If I send a text, it sends and then disapears. I can't see what I wrote! I went in to Apple to try and get it fixed, but they just restored my phone. It's still not working. Please help!

It's not hacker or a virus. You are experiencing what a number of users of iOS 5 are experiencing now - sluggish or less than perfect iPad performance. It seems that for some of us - memory management has gotten a little out of whack with this most recent update. Some of the basic troubleshooting steps that you can try are ....
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close apps in the recents tray. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If you have Safari crashing issues - Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
None of these steps should be necessary as part of your daily routine - the iOS is supposed to handle all of this without any user input. Once again - for some of us - the iOS is letting us down.
Until Apple releases another update that resolves this issue for the "few" that suffer, keep these steps in mind and use them as needed.

My photoshop CS6 is acting weird

Recently my drawings are having these weird light rectangles on them every time I tried coloring it. I tried erasing it but it won't go away. Did i accidentally turn on a effect? If so, please tell me how to turn it off.

Recently Photoshop has started disabling my keyboard

Whilst using Photoshop to restore an old image, heavy use of clone brush and content aware fill, Photoshop disables my keyboard after about 10 minutes work. Nothing will get it back apart from a restart.
Any ideas?

It is probably not a keyboard malfunction. Perhaps a ram problem.
Go to Edit > Purge -- All and see if that solves the problem.
