You may have a stuck image in the AutoRecovery folder. THis file is in your scratch drive directory. You can delete it.

Since the last Thunderbird update I'm having trouble with random(?) emails opening in tabs, even though I don't use tabs. It's annoying to have to keep closing all these tabs that I didn't open and don't even use in any way. It's a distraction. I'd just disable the tabs bar altogether if that was possible, but I guess it's not an option.

How do I get it to open in tabs instead of windows? I went to Options>>Tabs and unchecked "open new window instead of tab". I can't figure out what else to do.

When playing music on my iPhone 4S, it keeps repeating the same song, even though it is set at Shuffle.
Make sure you don't have Repeat turned on. While the song is playing, tap the screen (cover art) if necessary to bring up the extended music controls (see image below). Then tap the Repeat button until it turns white (which is off).

I can not get Adobe Flash Player to update on my Mac. It keeps telling me to close Safari even though it is closed. I tried every thing on Adobe's site to fix the problem with the same results always. I went to Mac's site as well and was told to go to Adobe for a solution. It worked fine since a new Mac in Feb. ,but it will not update now so no Flash Player ay all. Thanks for any help.

I deleted sessionstore.js it worked once but the issue re-occured afterwards. I don't have the file user.js.Make sure that Firefox closes properly to prevent Session Restore from reopening those tabs.
Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).
You can leave the sessionstore.bak file with the time stamp appended that Firefox creates automatically in case of updating.
There is software like Advanced SystemCare with its Surfing Protection feature that can protect files in the Firefox profile folder against changes.
If you have such software then check the settings or uninstall this software. -
Sometimes when I open my MacBook Pro, it restores its RAM, as if it has run out of battery, even though it has not run out of battery and it has been charging. Why does this happen, and should it be happening?
It's similar to hybernation mode in Windows.
If you put your laptop to sleep, after X amount of hours it will move to the "deeper" sleep level (save memory to disk and shut down...), to save up battery.
Otherwise if you left your laptop asleep in the evening, you could wake up to a dead battery. Not a great surprise when you in hurry to leave the house with your laptop...

Its very frustratiing as my i ph 5 keeps jumping to different carriers even though its been locked to 1 particular carrier and the automatic selection of carriers
turned off..Its strange as I can see the the tick next to my selected carrier but its connected to a different carrier..Have tried releasing the lock and re-selecting my particular carrier..It locks in for a while and then jumps carriers again..The autmatic selection is always turned off..Pls help as its getting very expensive and frustrating..Maybe you should call Apple again and ask for a Senior Advisor and/or ask them to look more closely at the Activation Profile information.

It sounds like you are experiencing multiple issues with this iPod Nano 5th Gen. From what you are describing it seems we can isolate this to either the software or the hardware on the device with a couple of simple steps assuming you have tried another set of headphones. Tip: If you are having difficulty resetting your iPod, set it on a flat surface. Make sure the finger pressing the Select button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also make sure that you are pressing the Menu button toward the outside of the click wheel, and not near the center.
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.
If you are able to reset it, but the issue persists, or you are unable to reset it, I would next attempt restoring it with iTunes:
