Photoshop/Mac -- update window bug after plugin completion?

After some of my plugins, photoshop/photoshop elements don't redraw image window (only on Mac!).
Some correlation exists between image scale and this problem -- "Actual pixels" scale repainted (always?) correctly, and any other scale SOMETIMES don't updated.
If user change window size, image redrawed with plugin results.
Work-around found -- send Update event to foreground window during filterSelectorFinish processing.
But where is root of problem?

OK, then HOW is your plugin preventing Photoshop from receiving an update/paint event?
You really need to spend some time debugging your plugin.

first, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. if it goes, good. if it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to itunes.
next, download and install the revo uninstaller http://http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html. use it to clear any existing itunes and/or QuickTime installation configuration information from the PC.
next download itunes. it worked for me hope this is helpful!!
oonce you get into the revo uninstallergo thru to delete itunes hit uninstall on the itunes icon then you will go thru to it will tell u the same nmessage about the feature and network hit cancell then go thru and hit scan (make sure bthe advance scan button is pushed) this will take awhile but go thru the list and hit everything associated with itunes. hit delete then install itunes again. it worked for me hope it works for you!

Photoshop Lag on Windows 8 after few days after installation

Hi all guys. I need your help if anybody can help me. When I install Photoshop everything is working perfectly but after few days Photoshop starts lagging. If I unninstall it and install it again there is not any lag and It's working good but after few days the lag is back. I'm confused really because on Windows 7 there is not that lag (Just on Windows 8). I'm using Photoshop in my job pretty much and this problem confuse me.

Everything is slowing down. If I make selection it takes effect after 3-4 seconds, if I'm using brush it takes effects after 3-4 seconds too. Whole Photoshop is lagging.

Error Code: U43M1D207 Photoshop (CS6) Update Windows 7

After running Adobe Updater, on CS6 Premium, I get the above error.
Downloading is fine, but fails to install with the above error.
I cannot see any current recommendations to correct this situation.
I have re-downloaded, and also ran with AV etc, disabled.
Please advise why error occurs, and also corrective action required.

Photoshop Elements will not open after download complete

It says my download is complete, but I cannot open Photoshop Elements. I have a Macbook Pro Mac OS X 10.7.5. I would love any kind of help...very difficult to find the answer.

Did you see it go through the install process? Maybe you need to find the instal file in your download folder, and run it.
Or can you see the Elements icon on your desktop, but it is not responding? As much info as possible please.

Problem Updating Windows Apps After 8.1 Upgrade (0x80070002)

I have a Macbook Pro using BootCamp to run Windows 8 Pro natively. Yesterday I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro through the Windows Store. It took awhile to update. Everything seemed to have ran fine except I had to update my BootCamp to 5.x due to some trackpad issues.
Other than that, I'm trying to update the Windows Store apps (Bing Finance, Sports, Skype, etc.) from the Windows Store, but I keep getting this error:
"This app wasn't installed - view details."
Clicking gives me this message:
"Something happened and this app couldn't be installed. Please try again. Error code: 0x80070002"
I've tried running WSReset.exe, renaming SoftwareDistribution, running some of the utilities from Microsoft to no avail.

Thanks to all for the replies. The problem appears to be with Dell and we'll have to wait until they do further updates.
Dell posted an updated system BIOS yesterday but it doesn't seem to fix the whole problem.
I did a clean install of Windows 8, installed all Windows updates and then loaded all the current drivers from Dell and everything looked fine. I then did the 8.1 upgrade and after the upgrade Fax and XPS Document writer were listed as unspecified
with the big X thru them. I connected a bluetooth keyboard and speaker and they are being recognized and look normal.
I installed a network printer and it again came up as unspecified.
Nothing else to do except complain to Dell.

My laptop has just been returned from repair after having been wiped clean due to a computer crash. I am just wondering what I have to do to reinstall CS6 since I am unable to return any license as it was deleted along with everything else. Can I simply reinstall it again without a problem? Tried that by shutting down via the power button only as the normal shutdown was nixed by the open window issue. It did not help. Found a very similar question in the discussions and it recommended "Force Quit". That worked and the update works normal and the window is gone. Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to update the camera raw plugin (min 8.2) in photoshop 5.5 for windows. I downloaded, ran, installed camera raw plugin 8.6 and rebooted. The installation wizard shows as installed but when I open photoshop it still has camera raw 6.7.0.339. Please help!! (The dng converter works but the camera raw plugin has not been updated)

That may be because the latest version of ACR that works with CS5 is ACR 6.7

What DVDs are this ?
If it is OSX Snow Leopard Installation DVD then yes this disc contains the BootCamp Drivers version 3.x and is needed after the installation of Windows to install the BootCamp Drivers.
With OSX Lion BootCamp is at version 4.x and the BootCamp Drivers have to be downloaded during use of the BootCamp Assistant in OSX.
