Photoshop touch is way overdue for updates

First update in a long time and they disable auto-sync? Photoshop touch is way over due for an update. It doesn't even support any stylus that have been released in about the last two years. I would like to see a major update that allows you to send a file to the desktop apps and more features such as masks.

1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.

Photoshop Touch with IOS 8.1 update

on ipad 3 and mini cannot locate photos in My Photostream folder. Will this be fixed?

All folders can be browsed except for My Photostream which did work prior to IOS8. When IOS8 first came out, My Photostream has bern discontinued but with further update in 8.1, it was reinstated. Photoshop Touch no longer shows photos, only blank boxes, in that folder.

Photoshop Elements 4.0 files for update/edit using version 8.0 on WIN 7

I would like to ask assistance for my software Photoshop Elements 4.0. I've been using this product for how many years now. I'm planning to get the full version of V8 but I'm wondering If I still have the access to pull out the files I created using my version 4.0 product. Please help I really need an assistance on this.

New updates later cropped tablet work area and suddenly cant open file (photoshop touch)

Two days ago I saw photoshop touch and sketchbook pro flaming updates there, at the Google play store, then i clicked them, what's that ? There was too many changes, new logos, fresh-nice themes but tablet fullscreen work area cropped.. And others.. Interesting ! I said to myself; this is not problem, i must do continue to work, later in the saving photoshop touch, what's that ? Its says "can't open file, its not valid photoshop touch file" but i see my file there, in photoshop touch menu, i didn't anything! My 8 hours works file flew.. ..Very interesting!! OK i said it's just error but...? Again i said to myself; i must do something, i did some changes, restart, clear caches, etc
nothing changed .. I did copy openable my files to hardrive and all them I erased then i saw, there is a flaming update button in android settings, i thought twice.. i push it, later machine did twice restart
splashing robo android, loading splats what's that ? Same as a this is not update, seems like new software.. But i m very glad software optimized, more touch sensitive, more fast but i didn't like new themes and i want to back themes honeycomb 3.1 themes with more optimized, tight, fast changes !!.. I lookt android options; turn on for honeycomb 3.1 there is no button to back, i get some files for thinkpad tablet preloaded software from official lenovo's web page but i don't know, how i can use this ? I hope this problem will be corrected as soon as possible... or helpful guidances,informations.. and i m sorry for my english...

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. Which tablet is it exactly that you are using?
Which Android version do you have on it?
It would be good if you could give us a screen shot of what you are seeing.
Would it be possible for you to share the file that you cannot open?
You could send it to me privately.
Could you also please let us know what you were doing before the file got corrupted?
From which version did you upgrade by the way?

Adobe photoshop touch for iPad 1?

I'm a iPad 1 user and I really want to edit pictures on iPad I waited and I see the adobe photoshop touch app, it's for iPad 2 only

Photoshop Touch for the iPad specifically states - iPad 2 only.... so no Touch solution for you...
What sort of things are you trying to accomplish with your iPad 1 ?
If you are looking for basic adjustments, sharpening, cropping, etc., and some minor effects & frames then you could always give Photoshop Express a try... In other software you could do a lot worse than programs like Nik's Snapseed or Filterstorm Pro... I use both of these apps but PST is now offering me options that neither of them has - plus some continuity with OS native Photoshop itself...
None of those other programs offers you a "layers" option so if that is your need then I see a new iPad in your future....
Even if you could make it run PST I think your iPad 1's processor and ram would choke pretty hard as soon as you tried to stack a few layers...

Hello, you want to know if Photoshop Touch, rather than Express is coming for Win8 or Win RT?
I'd check in the Touch forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/creative_cloud_touch_apps/adobe_photoshop_touch but Adobe's policy is not to comment on unannounced products... But, there is maybe a list where you could put your email to be informed of disponibility.

Photoshop Touch freeze

Hey guys. I recently purchased a AGPTEK Tablet that runs Android(Ice cream sandwich) and promptly downloaded Photoshop Touch, my main reason for buying the tablet. The only problem is that the program hardly ever loads past the initial start up screen, and when it does open none of the tutorial/project functions work. I've got plenty of room on my tablet and everything else seems to be working fine. I've even uninstalled/reinstalled the program with no luck. Any ideas?

Photoshop touch is not available for the desktop at the moment it's made for the tablet. If you still want to use Photoshop on the deskop
there's Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS6.

Adobe Photoshop Touch Question / Issue

I bought Adobe Photoshop Touch some time ago for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and I liked it so much. Of all the apps I had for photo editing, this one gave me all I need. I used to own Adobe Photoshop CS2 on my old PC so I wanted something for my tab as well. I was very satisfied by this app until my tab died some time ago. After a pain of service and repairs, the tab worked again but it had a new issue. Anytime I used the device on something more demanding (i.e. playing games ) the tab overheated a lot and the screen started to touch itself very much as, if it was pressed all the time. After some time of struggle with it I decided to wipe it clean and pass it out to a family member who would maybe dedicate more time to fix it.
Last month I bought myself a new device ( Sony Xperia Z ) and I was eager to get all my data on it and apps of course. To my sadness Adobe Photoshop Touch is not compatible with my device now, and it just sits there in my app list doing nothing . I could install only Photoshop Express but it does not give me the full access I had with Touch. I saw that there is another product called Photoshop Touch for smartphones and it seems to be the same as what I had only phone edition.
My problem is that I can not get this new app unless I pay for it and I do not wish to do that because I already paid for the previous edition.
My question is: Can I somehow obtain the Smartphone edition and the previous version ( which apparently is for tablets I suppose ) be removed from my Google Play account. I would purchase the smartphone version but there is no point in having 1 app 2 times.
I would happily like the staff to remove my previous version from my account if they would gave me the smartphone version and I acknowledge that the tab app was more expensive than the smartphone version and Adobe will not refund me the money difference nor are they obligated to give me the smartphone version. I am just asking if it would be possible because I like that app and it's such a shame for it to be in my app list and not be used. I don't think you'll have much luck. PS Touch for tablets was designed for just tablets; PS Touch for phones was designed for just phones. Touch for phones came out a little later than Touch for tablets. (By several months, if I recall.) On the brighter side, if you ended up buying Touch for phones, you'd be covered no matter which device you had.
Both are very similar in function. I believe the only differences are their UIs; Touch for tablets is landscape-oriented-specific while Touch for phones is portrait-oriented. (Some elements are also placed differently.) I imagine this allows for maximum utilization of screen real estate and element placement.

Hey ADOBE! To date the Lumia 1020 has the best camera on all mobile phones. You'd think therefore that a Photoshop phone app might be developed to take advantage of such a thing, wouldn't you???? I'm a photographer who is ALMOST ready to sacrifice the loss of at least half of my beloved Android apps to buy said phone just for the camera, but if Adobe won't support it, why bother?

Does Photoshop Touch support "Actions"

One of the features I use most in Photoshop is the "Actions". So far I have not been able to find that feature on Photoshop Touch. Can anyone tell me if that feature exists or if it is something I can look forward to in a future release? Having the ability to take a picture while on location and then to instantly apply preprogrammed actions would make Photoshop Touch an undispensable app for me.

Photoshop Touch doesn't currently support actions. I'm not sure if it would be possible to incorporate this functionality into a tablet based app or not. I created the following feature request on your behalf, please add your vote and any comments you would like to see included.

Photoshop Touch update for Galaxy Note 10.1

Photoshop Touch came installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at purchase. Is there a way to update this app as updates become available, or do I have to purchase the app from the Android market in order to recieve updates?

I had issues updating the app too. It's a little annoying to update the first time. Here's what I did:
1) Close your Photoshop Touch app.
2) Find the app that is called something like Samsung apps. It will run and then the app will disappear from your app list.
3) If it's already not there or once you complete step 2, find the app called GALAXY Apps and open it. This might require an update too.
4) Do a search for Photoshop. You'll get a bunch of options there. Be careful to not choose the app that you have to purchase. Find the photoshop app that requires an update. You may have to sign up for a Samsung account to update it.
That's it, you should be able to connect after that! Hope this helps.

Yes. get a computer with iTune 10.5 and:
- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other stuff using a third-party program like one of those discussed here. Most are good for music. It is harder to find one for other stuff like synced photos.
Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right-clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up
- Restore the iPod from backup and sync as neccessary.

I update my photoshop touch to 1.6 and the native font is not scaling correctly, whenever i enter for example "hello" i only get "he" and in some cases just pieces of words after resizing it, help!!!

Thanks Laparra!! Thanks to your original comment again-- at least now I know if I need a "work-around" I now know at-least-that-the original-fonts in PS TOUCH seem to work. No wonder the default-font worked.. but not the NEW COPPERPLATE FONT.. YaY, mystery solved.. (almost)! [i wished they'd change that default-font..and get a new default font...Lol.. It's pretty homely looking..Hee.) I normally have been using that original TRAJAN PRO FONT.. but the letter "J" almost looks like a straight line vs a rounded J.. which at least the new COPPERPLATE FONT (which is a more normal usable font--That's not boring like aerial is,etc... ]. So yeah that will be great when all those new fonts gets fixed! // It would be great too (on my PS TOUCH wishlist, if someday they could fix the TEXT BOX too.. to be able to better & easily add A LOT [more] TEXT on a graphic .. as I always have to go to the "OVER APP" [That's the name of the app in the APPLE store] on my iPad to do that... PS TOUCH only seems to let you do TITLES vs a more lengthy text on a project. If I want to make an EASY border I take the image I've been working on into the CAMERA+.Plus App..
