PHP5 + XSLT functions

Hi,
I have installed with YaST php5-xsl module extension.
phpinfo() shows that xslt is enabled:
XSL enabled
libxslt Version 1.1.20
libxslt compiled against libxml Version 2.6.30
EXSLT enabled
libexslt Version 1.1.20
But if I execute something like this:
<?php
echo "xslt test";
$xh = xslt_create();
echo "xslt working";
?>
I get the error:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function xslt_create()
Any ideas?

sure - RTFM! You only think that you enabled the xslt extension - but in
fact you did enable the xsl extension, and you also wrote this initially,
and a second time where you wrote what phpinfo() reports....
So consult the PHP5 docs, and read how xsl is coded to - its completely
different from xslt. From doccu:
Note: This extension has been moved to the PECL repository and is no longer
bundled with PHP as of PHP 5.0.0.
However you can also at any time fetch xslt from PECL and compile self.

  • Custom XSLT Functions Throw Exception

    Hi,
    I have following requirement-
    1. I have defined and configured some custom XSLT functions in Jdev and BPEL, which throw exception in case of an error.
    2. Now I want to catch that exception in my BPEL process
    3. In My BPEL process I have defined transformation step ( which is using those Custom XSLT functions) in a scope and added a catch branch to that
    4. But even XSLT java function throw an exception , it is not being catch by catch branch.
    Could you please help me regarding this and tell me any other way to catch an exception in BPEL process thrown by Custom XSLT function within transformation step?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Its the problem with the date. In the configuration file i used dateTime for java.util.Date, because of this i cant see "User Defined" option in Jdeveloper component pallete. I checked at XML data types i had seen dateTime for java.util.Date Class, but its not working.
    Do anyone created a custom xslt function which has date as parameter or return type?, If so wht they had used as data type for xml and java.
    Thanks,

  • Using Starts-with XSLT function with XI

    Hi All,
    Any help is apperciated. I am using the starts-with xslt function and when i do so the message gets stucks in the queue. If i run code without the starts-with then is works??
    <xsl:for-each select="receipt/prod">
         <xsl:for-each select="carrier/carrier_detail/carrier">
               <xsl:choose>
                   <xsl:when test="carrier_type='CASE'">
                        <xsl:choose>
                             <xsl:when test="starts-with(carrier_barcode, '00')">
                                                   do something
                                            </xsl:when>
                                           <otherwise>
                                                 do something
                                           </otherwise>
    so on..
    when i try to process messsage using this xslt format it gets sysfail in the queue, but without it, it works fine.
    I need to a special format if the condition of barcode starts with 00

    Chirag,
    Create xslt on abap mapping using transaction SXLT_TOOL on XI abap stack. Copy paste same xslt code and run with test file. You can debug code or most likely you can see error message too.
    Actually your mapping raising an exception which result in sys-fail.
    Hope this will help.

  • Questions about xslt functions in BIP

    Hi,
    Is there any document showing all the xslt functions in BIP specially for the string related?
    I have found some sql functions for string related but can't be mixed with xslt functions,is there any solution for this?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    You can find few functions in here :
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12844_01/doc/bip.1013/e12187/T421739T481158.htm
    Apart from this, you can search this forum and blogs - there are quite a few possibilities.
    If you have any specific requirement, post it here. Will try and help.

  • Custom XSLT Functions - Unable to access in Mediator ExpressionBuilder

    I have created some custom functions, I am able to access them within the xslt mapper, but when I open Mediator Expression Builder I cannot access them. Is this by design, bug, enhancement request, trick to get get it work?

    yes was able to activate the functions, no error, but i dont want to build everything and in the end when tested in the schema and found out that wasnt able to call the codes, would rather pre-emp during the build

  • Error while applying stylesheet - XSLT functions

    Hi ,
    I have a source XML and applying XSLT on source XML. It works fine from the tool stylus studio. but when i apply that transformation using MII,i get below error.
    "Error has occurred during XSL transformation Could not compile stylesheet"
    My xsl was working fine but i needed to do a date manipulation..so i have used one function which is in name space xs.
    So i have added name space on top of xslt document as . xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    <xsl:variable name="docdate" select="sch:dateTime" />
    <xsl:value-of select="adjust-dateTime-to-timezone(xs:dateTime($docdate))"/>
    i have attached xml and xslt ( changed extension while attaching to this post  since sdn is allowing  xsl extension )
    Thanks
    Hari

    Update: Above function looks to be xslt 2.0 function and thats why MII is blowing up the transformation.
    So,Question now is can i use EXSLT functions at least in MII? Does MII XSLT processor supports EXSLT function?
    If not,is there any way to get that work like Xalan libraries??
    Thanks
    Hari

  • Use document() function in xslt

    Hi I want to use the xslt function document() to import a data file into the transformation.
    However I don't seem to be able to import the xml file onto the osb. can this be done ?
    Basically can you use the document() function?
    I've tried googling and searching the docs but i think i'm missing something basic :-)
    Thanks in advance

    Not an answer to the particular point but i've got round the issue by adding a stage which inserts the data xml into the xml document being transformed.
    I then supress the data injected from being copied to the output tree and use a variable which references the data nodes rather than a variable referencing
    an external doc variable name="myvar" select="//injecteddatanode" /> rather than <variable name="myvar" select="document("path/doc.xml")
    The question still stands though : how do you import an xml doc which can then be used by the document function in a transform

    Did anyone came across this issue with Class not being found for XSLT Function used in transformer on 12c OSB.
    I'm using oraext:sequence-next-val and have configured as below:
    namespace-uri:http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.ExtFunc
    namespace-prefix: oraext
    Not sure why at runtime I'm getting below error, as the same was working fine in 11g OSB Domain.

    Have you restarted servers after putting jar in $Domain_Home/lib directory? Also try after explicitly adding this jar in classpath by editing server startup script (startManagedWeblogic.cmd or .sh) or in domain env setting script (setDonainEnv.cmd or .sh) and restarting the servers.

  • Split an XML File and invoke a Web Serivce for each splits using an  XSLT

    Hi,
    We Have a requirement to Split an incoming XML File into chunks based on a child element and hit the target Web Service for each and every split ( i.e no of splits = no of hits on WebService).
    Currently, the incoming XML file is getting splitted and gets appended to the SAME Payload and the WebService is hitted only once with the entire Payload.
    Is it possible to invoke a WebService within a XSLT ?
    Please find below the XSLT code used to split the file in chunks of 3

    Hello,
    It is possible to invoke a webservice from XSLT. To achieve this you must create a custom XSLT function that does the actual webservice call. You need to write an implementation in Java for this. See my blogpost http://blog.melvinvdkuijl.nl/2010/02/custom-xslt-functions-in-oracle-soa-suite-11g/ for a simple example.

  • XSLT Mapping :-- End to End Scenario

    Can any one provide XSLT Mapping End to End scenario with screen shots?

    HI
    XSLT Mapping
    XSLT stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations. It is an XML based language for transforming XML documents into any other formats suitable for browser to display, on the basis of set of well-defined rules.
    Using XSLT mapping in a ccBPM scenario
    File to Multiple IDocs (XSLT Mapping)
    Steps required for developing XSLT Mapping
    u2022 Create a source data type and a target data type
    u2022 Create Message types for the source and target data types.
    u2022 Create Message Interfaces includes Inbound Message interface and Outbound Message interface.
    u2022 XSLT Mapping does not require creation of Message mapping, so donu2019t create any Message mapping.
    u2022 Create an .XSL file which converts source data type into target data type.
    u2022 Zip that .xsl file and import it into Integration Repository under Imported Archives.

    u2022 Test this mapping program by navigating to Test tab.
    By having look at above steps you can easily find out that this mapping is no where different from other mapping programs, here the challenging lies in creating an XSLT file. ABAP mappings run on ABAP Stack and are developed in the ABAP workbench of the Integration Server.

    XSLT (mapping).

    Hi,
    What is XSLT
    XSLT stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations. It is an XML based language for transforming XML documents into any other formats suitable for browser to display, on the basis of set of well-defined rules.
    It can be used to transform
    u2022XML to XML - From one XML data format to another
    u2022XML to Text
    u2022XML to HTML/XHTML
    u2022XML to PDF
    Pre-requisite for XSLT
    Writing an XSL program to transform XML document into desired format is not a difficult task though it seems to be in the beginning. It requires basic knowledge of XML tags, basic XPath concepts and HTML.
    We will concentrate more on use of XSLT in XI (EXchange Infrastructure) for mapping.
    Before starting with XSLT letu2019s get familiar with the following terms:-
    u2022XML
    u2022HTML
    u2022XPath
    XSLT: Extensible style sheet language transformation. It enables the definition of mappings for messages with different structures. Provides the transformation requirements for an inbound message to create an outbound message.
    XSLT mappings can be imported into the Integration Repository; java methods can be called from within the XSLT style sheet. Advantages of this mapping are: open standard, portable, extensible via Java user-defined functions.
    XSLT MAPPING:
    Steps required for developing XSLT Mapping
    u2022 Create a source data type and a target data type
    u2022 Create Message types for the source and target data types.

    u2022 XSLT Mapping does not require creation of Message mapping, so donu2019t create any Message mapping.
    u2022 Create an .XSL file which converts source data type into target data type.
    u2022 Zip that .xsl file and import it into Integration Repository under Imported Archives.
    u2022 In Interface Mapping choose mapping program as XSL and specify this zip program. (Through search help you will get XSL Mapping programs that you imported under Imported Archives, select your corresponding XSL Program)

  • For Each function for a Concat Value

    Hi:
    The scenario is, we need to concat two unbounded elements and map it to a target element using for each functionality.
    For example
    <BookStore>
    <Books>
    <Name>NAME1</Name>
    <Author>AUTHOR1</Author>
    <BookId>1</BookId>
    <Quantity>2</Quantity>
    <Price></Price>
    <Status></Status>
    <Books>
    <Books>
    <Name>NAME2</Name>
    <Author>AUTHOR2</Author>
    <BookId>2</BookId>
    <Quantity>2</Quantity>
    <Price></Price>
    <Status></Status>
    <Books>
    </BookStore>
    I need to concat "Name" and "Author" which is under the unbounded element "BookStore" and map it to a single element called "Sample" on the Target side.
    I am not able to use the "for-each" XSLT function to get the multiple value of Name and Author since concat function is used. Is there any other way to concat and get the multiple values of the element "Name" and "Author"?
    Regards
    RK

    Hi Vlad:
    Ok i use for-each function in my XSLT to get the vlaues of unbounded elements
    eg:
    <xsl:for-each select="/BookStore/Books/Name">
    <request:Sample>
    <xsl:value-of select="/BookStore/Books/Name"/>
    </request:Sample>
    </xsl:for-each>
    This works perfectly fine and whenever there is a multiple vlaue for Name it is mapped to Sample and output comes as expected
    <Sample>NAME1</Sample>
    <Sample>NAME2</Sample>
    Now i need to concat the Name and Author and pass the value to element on the target. Since name and author occuring multiple times, i am not sure how to pass the values to the element on the target

  • Using XSLT 2.0 in JDK 1.5.0

    How do I set the Java Runtime to use XSLT 2.0?
    The XSLT functions format-date and format-time are not being accepted. My transformation works fine without these 2 functions.
    Thanks.

    In other words, none of the XSLT 2.0 functions are possible with the latest JDK 1.5.0.
    Even functions like tokenize, matches, substring-before, substring-after are not possible in XSL using JDK 1.5.0.
    Thanks.
