    Hi,
As far as we could see, you're facing an authorization issue. To solve
    that...
Can you check that the user executing the task (SOLMAN, i suppose) is
assigned the authorization - you can run an authorization trace using
transaction ST01 (check only the authorization box) and reproduce the
issue. The resulting trace should show which authorization failed. Once
this is established the necessary authority can be assigned to the user.
    Thanks,

  • Unable to create webservice from EJB due to wrong wizard configuration

    Hi All,
I was trying to create a webservice from a EJB(session bean).I executed following steps :
    1. I created the bean in one EJB project.
    2. Then created another Enterprise Project in whichEJB projects .jar file is included.
    3. Now when i right click "ejb-jar.xml" to create a webservice ,webservice wizard
appears in which Server and WS runtime configuration are set properly.
But it displays following error message on the top : "Select a service Project Type".
If i click on the link on the wizard to select a "service Project type" the drop down for the same comes empty. The value for 'Service Project' is already defaulted
as "Webservice Project ".If i go to windows->preferrences->Webservcies->ProjectTopology i found two entries in the service project type list :
                         1.Dynamic Web project
                         2.SAP Web Project
But there is no entry for Webservice Type project. Can any one help me out

  • Siebel Gateway Name Server Configuration Wizard returns "Execution failed"

    Hi,
I am installing Siebel 8.1.1.1 on Linux platform and now having problem while trying to configure Siebel Gateway Name Server.
    Steps done:
    1) DB instance prepared
    2) Created Siebel installation image
    3) Installed Siebel server and configured Gateway name server (the wizard started automatically as part of the installation). Skip configuration of Enterprise and SWSE Logical profile
    4) Ran DB Configuration Wizard for the primary language - successfully. Import repository-add language - successfully.
    5) Trying to Wizard "Configure Enterprise" - failed with "Execution failed"
Here I thought that probably Gateway Nameserver was not configured and decided to remove the Gateway and create it from scratch.
Unfortunately this time the Gateway configuration failed. Also with message"Execution failed"
Here are the errors I got in the log files sw_cfg_util*.log

Does anybody know what is the reason?
Searching in Metalink and Google were fruitless..
    Thank you in advance.

Just in case anybody bumps in this thread:
The problem in my case was solved according with Oracle Note "Delete and create the "Siebel Server" via Configuration Wizard on Linux, it failed. [ID 880562.1]"
    Applies to:
    +Siebel CRM - Version: 8.1.1 SIA [21111] and later   [Release: V8 and later ]+
    Linux x86
    Symptoms
Delete the "Siebel Server" once and then create a new "Siebel Server" via Siebel Server Configuration Wizard on Linux, it failed with message "Execution Failed".
The error on sw_cfg_util_xx.log is as follows,
    GenericLog GenericError 1 0000ce524a3a1bd2:0 2009-06-19 10:18:33 Executing step: AddSrvrRegistryEntry

    GenericLog GenericError 1 0000ce524a3a1bd2:0 2009-06-19 10:18:35 Failed during Execution, err: 5500044
    Reproduce steps:
    - confirm that siebel server was created before, and is stopping.
    - create sh env and enter the following command to remove the Siebel Server.
    +$ cd $(SiebelServerRoot)+
    +$ . ./cfgenv.sh+
    +$ cd $(SiebelServerRoot)/bin+
    +$ ./ssincfgw+
    - select "3 - Remove Existing Configuration".
    - complete the configuration wizard.
    - enter the following command to create the Siebel Server.
    +$ cd $(SiebelServerRoot)+
    +$ . ./cfgenv.sh+
    +$ cd $(SiebelServerRoot)/bin+
    +$ ./ssincfgw+
    - select "1 - Create New Configuration".
    - continue inputs to finish and execute the configration.
    +==> you'll find "Execution Failed".+
    Cause
AddSrvrRegistryEntry section shown in the log is the command for registering the Windows Service, and it is no need to execute on Linux env. However, it is executed and it failied.
    Solution
You can do either of follows,
+(1) Uninstall and Install the Siebel Server again.+
+(2) The section to execute the Windows registeration command is specified on $(SiebelServerRoot)/admin/common.scm, line 2475-2477.+
    +[Step]+
    Name = AddSrvrRegistryEntry
    Type = RunProg %%SiebelRoot%%%%OSDirSeparator%%bin%%OSDirSeparator%%siebctl ' -r %%SiebelRoot%% -q -S siebsrvr -i "%%SiebelEnterprise%%:%%SiebelServer%%" -a -g "-g %%SiebelGateway%% -e %%SiebelEnterprise%% -s %%SiebelServer%% -u %%Username%%" -e %%Password%% '
So, delete the AddSrvrRegistryEntry section from common.scm, and execute Configuration Wizard again.

  • Re run Configuration Wizards

    Hello:
I've installed ESR on CE and ran the configuration wizard "Configuration of ESR in CE"
I missconfigured the sld host, appending the "http//" prefix, and now ESR attempts to connect to http:
    http:
    host:50000\sld
how can I re-run the configuration wizard so I correct this situation?
    Thanks
    Alejandro

    Hello Alejandro
Unfortunately, with the SP3 release of ESR, it is not possible to run re-run the Configuration Wizard. But you don't have to do so to fix the problem - The configuration wizard only takes you through the step-by-step process.
You can change the settings manually by modifying the ESR properties. The post installation documentation is available here

  • SAP Configuration Issues

I have recently been involved in configuration of ECC6.0 for use in my intermediate accounting lab. I have run across some problems and errors that as it turns out, are also fairly common in the BPI classes. Although fixes for some of these common errors can be "googled", I thought that it might be nice to have them all in one place for all of us faculty who sometimes end up with frustrating errors in our assignments. So I will post these as separate threads by topic, so that you all can search on the topic and hopefully find an easy fix fairly quickly. Then we can get our "golden clients" updated as well.
    Here goes:
When posting a cash sale, we received an error that the accounting document was not created because of an account determination error.

This fix works in the IDES clients:
Account determination issues in sales result from missing or incorrect configurations. In the IMG, go to sales and distribution and follow the menu path below:
basic functions > account assignment/costing > revenue account determination > assign GL accounts > customer group account key.
Make sure that account type EVV has been assigned a GL account for your company code. EVV is the cash sales order type and often is forgotten in the initial configuration. Your account should be the cash account in your chart of accounts.
If you get the account determination error in all of your sales orders, the fix is a bit different. Using the menu path above, go to general instead of customer group account key, but you still need to maintain the account determination for all the types of sales orders. The account should be your sales account in the chart of accounts.
Account determination errors also relate to material movements, so if you receive an account determination error in MIGO, use this same fix. Follow the path: materials management > valuation and account assignment > account detrmination > account determination w/o wizard > configure automatic postings.
In the BPI exercises, account determination errors can happen when the student does not complete steps in exercise 96 properly.

  • Configure GRIR account and Purchase Price variance

    Hi,
Please explain steps involved in GRIR configuration and Purchase Price Variance
Thanks for help. Points will be given

You need to set up the automatic postings:
IMG \ Materials Management \ Valuation and Account Assignment \ Account determination \ Account determination w/o wizard \ Configure Automatic postings
In particular you need to ensure there are settings for the Transaction Event Keys PRD (price differences) and WRX (GR/IR).  Drill through and set per:
Valuation Grouping Code (these are set per Valuation Area which is normally Plant level and you can see the settings one step back in config.), General Modifier (if applicable) and for all possible Valuation Classes.
This link is very good,  read the top bit for an overview then go to Transaction Event Keys (about half way down) for further info. on these.

  • Use of wizard in config

    Hi all,
When do we use wizard in configuration. What is advantage of going with wizard and manually?  Is it possible to use wizard configuration for all scenarios. Till now I have used wizard configuration.  Is there is any scenario where we do configuration manually. After finished the configuration, How to test our configuration whether it is correct or not (steps need).   If we do any modification at (IR) Integration process (bpm), how it will effect on configuration.
How to do configuration setps for the scenario using wizard and manually.

    your help is rewardable.

    Hi ,
You can configure any scenario through wizard or manually.
    <i>
How to do configuration setps for the scenario using wizard and manually</i>
Create one by one step which is specified in the weblog with respect to source and target business system.
1)Create new configure scenario in ID
    2)Import your BPM from IR.
3)Create communication channels in business systems under service without party.
    4)Create three interface determinations
three reciever determinations and one sender agreement(For file system) and one two reciver agrements(one for file system and other for DataBase).

    Fairly new to linux!
Not sure where to go to from here!

OK. I think I´ve found the solution. Apparently selinux needs to be in permissive mode:
Check to see if permissive or enforcing
    cat /selinux/enforce
    0 = Permissive
    1 = enforcing
    If 1 run
    echo 0 > /selinux/enforce

  • E6, Help configure email

Can anyone guide me on how to configure email manual on E6. Have a lot of problem with the email and configuration wizard configuration on E6 - pity the E71 doesn't work any more, there was no problem with this on the E71. I had to delete a email account on the E6 since it stopped working after 2 month - could not get any more email down to E6.
I now need to configure an mail account, type Other that uses pop3, and cant get around the wizard! It keeps telling me that the mail box is not available - try later. I know that the mail box is available and working. So how do I get around the wizard so I can configure the mail manually?
The E6 is updated, the SIM is in and I'm on the ear, and I know that the mail box is up and running since I using it with other devices.
    An other question.
When I configure an mail account (telia.com) I get different functions in the E6. In some accounts I can just do simple configurations, in some accounts I also get an option "advanced set up".
How do I do the installation to get the advanced set up option in the mail account?

Try to set up the e-mail manually
Start the e-mail guide, choose e-mail type 'Other'
When asked for the e-mail address type a non existing e-mail address
as an example: [email protected], and as password type anything .. like: 123
The automatic configuration will then fail and is forced to ask you for manual settings.
    Choose e-mail POP/IMAP
then enter all e-mail settings you have gotten from your e-mail provider.
(and change the e-mail adress to the correct one.
When asked in the end if you accept the terms of use ... choose No

  • Adobe Customization Wizard X with Reader 10.1.3

    Hi all,
First time trying to use the Adobe Customization Wizard X and i wanted to install version 10.1.3 but everytime i use the wizard it always sets it to version 10.1.0.
    any ideas?
    thanks

    Hi!
Same here. Im using wizard X to create a deployable msi of Adobe Reader 10.1.3 but its not working. Everytime i open the msi the wizard transforms it into a 10.1.0 package.
I tryed with 10.1.2 and 10.1.3. It always results in a 10.1.0 installation.
Update: After extracting the setup.exe the resulting msi is definatly a 10.1.0. How could that be? So the wizard is not the problem.
I hate it. It takes me a whole day to read annyoing tutorials of how to make a adobe reader deployment work. I´m sorry Nikhil but your answer is not helpful. Please tell us what is exactly to do?
p.s. i dont understand why there is no msi file+wizard+tutorial in your download area? I was searching about 4 hours in different sources until i finally understood that i have to download the .exe from your hidden ftp, then run it with -nos_ne parameters to get msi, stored somewhere stupid in  c:\programData\adobe\setup\blablablabla, download wizard, configure the msi getting a mst, put this and that on a share, set grouppolicy and and and and and.... ******* which admin has time for stuff like that? HELLO?! Its only an adobe reader deployment not a  spaceshuttle! Im tired now and have to go to rehab for 1 week. Thank you.

  • Problems installing CF 10 with Apache 2.2.24 (or 2.4) on RHEL 6.4

Built Apache using openssl 1.0.1e (updated LD_LIBRARY_PATH to reflect the correct openssl libs) and pcre. Configure for build was:
    configure --enable-ssl=shared --with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl  --enable-so --with-included-apr --with-pcre  --with-perl
Also downloaded and built the connector from http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/rhel-connector-configuration.html after the vanilla CF install didn't work. I get the following when I try to start up CF:

    Hi,
RHEL 6.4 is not the supported version of RHEL, Supported version are 5.6 and 6.1. We published an article you can try if that helps.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/rhel-connector-configuration.html
However if that doesn't work please try this in Supported environment.
    Regards,
    Priyank
