Picture adjustments not working from Action Menu

Hi, I have a Sony Bravia KDL-55w805C with the latest firmware and The "Picture adjustmen" entry, within the "Action Menu" List is not working.
At the beggining it was working just fine and after a day or so, whenever I click it, nothing happens. I can still go to that menu browsing throug the Settings in the home screen, but I can't select it from any other place. Can anyone please help me with this?

Editing email fonts not working from top menu

When editing an email, if I click the A to open font options I can only use a selected an item once. For instance, I can highlight text and Bold it but cannot unbold it. I can underline but cannot reverse-underline. In order to do this I have to Control-Click and uncheck it from the menu.

I have been waiting for a response on this issue since yesterday. I work in a consulting agency, and it is prudent that my mail app work correctly on my macbook pro! I get at most, 1 notification per day if I'm lucky. I can't keep opening the app to make sure I have mail! Someone help us! (Not to sound desperate)

Workflow does not work from Script Menu or as Application

Hi,
I create a really simple script to adjust podcast volume...
1. Get Specified iTunes Items (Recently added podcast – my smart folders of recently downloaded items)
2. Filter Songs in iTunes (Volume Adjustment is 0: so the workflow will not touch podcasts already adjusted.)
3. Set Options of iTunes Songs (Volume Adjustment: 80)
The workflow works find when running from Automator. But when I save it as script plug-in or application and try to run it, nothing happens. Please help. Thanks.
P.S. I tried to create folder action script that adjust the volume automatically when a podcast is downloaded (get selected items -> set options in iTunes songs). At first it works. Now it doesn't.

It starts by pausing iTunes, executes a applescript where there are say commands, pauses for 3 seconds, gets info from ical, filters out todays events, speaks these events out loud, fetches a weather report via web(xml), speaks out loud, pauses a couple of seconds, gets current itunes song, resumes playing of this song and the workflow is finished.
It quits right before it is about to announce todays events. Doesnt matter if there are events for today or not. If I start the application manually however, everything seems fine.
The Applescript used to launch the program:

run
end tell
Any suggestions now ?

Hello there Karen,
It sounds like you are having to power cycle your modem to get internet back every single day. We can start by troubleshooting your Airport Express to help isolate the issue. I would first perform a Soft Reset, then test the issue again. If needed as a last resort I would then perform a Hard Reset:
Soft reset
Connect the device to power and wait for it to complete its start up process. To learn more about the start up process, please see All about Wi-Fi base station Status Lights (LED).
Press and hold the reset button with a pen, pencil, or straightened paperclip for 1 full second, then release it. The light (LED) will begin flashing amber, indicating that the device is in soft reset mode.
From the AirPort menu bar item, choose the network created by the device (the network name does not change).
Open AirPort Utility from Applications > Utilities.
Select the base station, then click Edit (The Edit window will indicate that the base station is in Soft Reset mode).
Move through the tabs to make changes to your passwords or other settings as needed, and click Update and Continue as required
Quit AirPort Utility.
Hard reset
Press and hold the reset button with a pen, pencil, or straightened paperclip until you see the status light (LED) start to flash amber rapidly, which should occur after about five seconds.
Release the button and the device will reset.
Wait about a minute for the base station to finish restarting, then open AirPort Utility from Applications > Utilities.
Select the base station from Other Wi-Fi Devices, then click Edit.
Select the Other Options button.
Select "Restore previous settings" and click Next until you get to the final window.
AirPort Utility will indicate that Setup is complete. Click Done.

My eyes just glazed over...Please in the future break down each of your issues with paragraphs separated by two carriage returns. It would be much easier when trying to address your issues.
Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Keyboard and Mouse -> Mouse
And edit your mouse settings to do what you want it to do.

Third, from my understanding, it would appear you are concerned about the noise the hard drive makes when it falls asleep? Why not put your machine in screen saver mode instead? Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Energy Saver turn off all Energy Saver settings, or set them to run Never.
Fourth, if your machine was purchased just a few days ago, you may still be able to get an exchange from the store, quicker than you can get a repair done. You may want to look into that possibility.
Fifth, it does appear you found the Logic forum. I would persist in asking there how to solve your technical issue with Logic regarding the audio. It may be you don't have to do anything special to the hard drive. Remember audio can be transmitted by wire, avoiding ambient sounds.

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

Had the C partition been split/shrunk to form a new partition previously?
Does disk management show the HDD as basic or dynamic? (Start>Right-click Computer>Manage>disk management on the left).
If it has been switched to dynamic (Windows does this automatically when more than 4 partitions are present on the disk), then the F11 recovery partition won't function until it is restored to basic, but I would like to confirm that is the scenario before providing those steps.
The Disk management shows that my HDD as Dynamic, what should i do then if this is the case and the possible solution to my problem?

If you have more than 4 partitions you will need to delete the extra partition/partitions, then convert the hdd back to Basic.

I downloaded sqldeveloper-1.2.1.3213.ZIP and extract to a local directory. From the extracted directory I ran ..\sqldeveloper\sqldeveloper.exe from Windows XP sp2. The program itself seems to run just fine but File-Print doesn't do anything. In Help-About, Java Platform is reported as 1.5.0_06 and Oracle IDE is 1.2.1.3213. I'm not sure where to look for what is causing the problem.

I hadn't tried CTRL-P before but I did today. On the first attempt, I saw a small jump in the memory usage for sqldeveloper.exe as reported in Windows Task Manager. Otherwise, there was no change. A second CTRL-P in the same session produced a further bump but subsequent attempts in the same session produced no further change in CPU or Memory Usage.
Using Task Manager to monitor this further, I tried File->Print again and saw that sqldeveloper would periodically climb to 1 or 2 percent CPU and consume a little more memory. After a minute or so, though, all activity stops again.
I do not get a print dialog box from SQLDeveloper using either CTRL-P or File->Print

Settings, general, reset and reset network settings. Clear out your network settings and set personal hotspot again.
also avoid special characters making a password. hashtags or open brackets for example doesn't work too good.

The work around is to leave iWeb default nav bar and header enabled, add your home made nav bar (outside/below of iWeb default nav bar).
Then turn off iWeb nav bar and header when you are done.
