PIDIRUSER - return code 403 Forbidden -

Hi Guys!
When I test my scenario with the Directory test tool I get an error:
HTTP Connection to ABAP Runtime failed. Error 403: Forbidden.USER: PIDIRUSER.
What could be wrong?
From which component is made this connection from? in ABAP Part the user PIDIRUSER exists. Is it connecting j2ee to abap via this user? If it is forbidden I suppose, there could be wrong password. If is this coonection try made from j2ee to abap - where to change logon passord for this user?
Thanx a lot for answer!
Olian

  • HTTP response code 403 (forbidden)

Hi, my name is Sebastiano and I'm a student.
I'm developping a Server-Client application for Web in 100% Java.
My application comunicates with a browser (Explorer) through a socket to satisfy http request.
So my application is between the browser and the web (like a proxy).
My application create an HttpUrlConnection with the URL contained in the http request getting from the browser, receive the response (the content of the url requested) from this URL and after doing some task with it, send it to browser as response.
However some site (in particular www.google.com when my application send to it a query of research) gives to my application http response code 403 (forbidden) raising an "java.io.IOException: Server returned http response code: 403 for URL ...".
There is someone who can help me ... may questions are:
Why my application get this respone code?
There is something to set in HttpUrlConnection to avoid this response?
How can I avoid this response?
Thank you very much for yuor reply,
    Sebastiano.

    Read this page:

  • System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)

    Hi,
After upgrading PI 7.1 (with local SLD) Stack06 -> Stack09 we have the following error in the runtime workbench. It seems that the connection
between PI and SLD is not working:
    1) error in RWB -
Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)
    2) another error:

INFO com.sap.sld.api.builder.app.DefineHostedSystem: Communication exception in SLD ping (HTTP 403 = FORBIDDEN): http://hfasapxi1:50000/sld/cimom, namespace sld/active.
sldcheck is working and the users are not locked or not valid. All seems to be ok but I still get these errors.
    Any idea ?
    Dimitry Haritonov

    Hi Venu,
thanks for the answer but it seems to be something else. After searching for that problem I also ran the configuration wizard->PI self registration. This activity registers all the component of the PI, unfortunately it only registered the "integration server" part without the Adapter engine, domain, RWB and etc.
Also, when I trigger the registration of the adapter engine I get the following error in the default trace:
The AdatperEngine has not been registered with the SLD due to: com.sap.aii.af.lib.sld.SLDException: Could not register AdapterFramework to SLD. Reason: Self-registration of instance af.xid.hfasapxi1 of class SAP_XIAdapterFramework failed
the reason is unknown ... any idea ?

  • Error Code: 403 Forbidden

    Hi,
I'm new to microsoft products, so hopefully I can get my point across meaningfully.
I'm trying to connect to a site internally through forefront/tmg and recieve this message:
Error Code: 403 Forbidden. The server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). Contact the server administrator. (12202)
I assume I'm getting to the site, but appears to be some sort of rights issue as to why I can't see the content.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot this and steps to take?

Can you tell me exactly the way you have set it up ? OR what exactly are we trying to achieve?
If you are trying to publish a website through TMG, the address you (be it IP or NETBIOS or DNS name) HAS to match Entry in "Public Name" tab of the corresponding rule.
Here are some step by step walk thrus.

    It's http://mimarchlinux.googlecode.com/file … .8.tar.bz2, just as the PKGBUILD says.
    Edit:
If something is broken, you should ask on the AUR page for the maintainer to fix the PKGBUILD https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/openbox-menu/, but the PKGBUILD worked for me.

openbox-menu is from the AUR and not from the repos, so changing mirrors won't do anything here. You might want to read on what AUR is and deal with the issues with the signatures first.

  • When trying to create an acct. I keep getting error code 403 forbidden

I am setting up my new 6510-e and when I try to create an account I keep getting an error code 403 forbidden.
I cannot get far enough to enter my printer code.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    Hi UrGramps,
I just viewed the website on my computer, and it appears to be working okay on my end. It's possible that there's a setting in your web browser responsible for what you're seeing. I would recommend trying the following steps:
    1. Try to view the site in a different web browser to see if that's the issue. Normally, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari all display the website properly. Try one or two of those (other than the one you've been using) and it should do the trick.
    2. If that doesn't work, try resetting Internet Explorer's default settings by clicking "Tools" (on the top menu bar), "Internet Options" (usually at the bottom of that list), "Advanced" (far-right tab), and "Reset" (towards the bottom-right of that box). After resetting the defaults, try viewing the ePrint Settings area again.
Let me know if you need any further assistance with your issue. Thanks Again!!

  • MySQL Connection "HTTP Error Code 403 Forbidden"

I can't seem to connect to my MySQL database on Go Daddy. I
have the db set up for remote access and can connect just fine with
Sequel Pro. But, when I try to connect to build my application in
Dreamweaver I always get "HTTP Error Code 403 Forbidden". I've
spent a good chunk of the last 3 days banging my head against this
problem. At this point I'm thinking of dumping Dreamweaver. I
thought these things were supposed to be easy? Yes, I'm very
    frustrated...
    All help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Pls check if your database name is already taken by someone
else on GoDaddy. GoDaddy has a policy that a database name taken on
any website hosted by them cannot be taken by another user.
If your database name was accepted by GoDaddy, see if the
first few lines of your SQL file contain code like:
DROP DATABASE IF EXISTS . . . or
    CREATE DATABASE . . . or
    USE . . .
If such lines are there, delete them so that the code starts
    with:
    DROP TABLE IF EXISTS . . .
Save the SQL file and try to upload it.
    Good luck!

  • Wget returns a 403 forbidden message but IE/Mozilla continues to run jsp

    Hi,
I have just seen a section of code from a jsp file that looks like this:
    response.setStatus( response.SC_FORBIDDEN,"getlogout.inc" );
%><%@include file="getlogin0.inc" %><%Basically this is used as part of a security check - if the user has not already provided a valid login (username/password) an exception is thrown and the above code is executed.
What I would like to know is why when I try to retrieve this page using wget I get:
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 403 getlogout.inc
18:47:50 ERROR 403: getlogout.inc.but when I access the page using Mozilla/IE it will execute the "%><%@include file="getlogin0.inc" %><%" line and the login page is included/shown.
What does Mozilla/IE do differently to ignore the 403 status response?
Is there a way to get wget to retreive the page succesfully?
    Cheers
Edited by: vijizzle on Jun 19, 2008 7:01 AM

you need to learn jsp basics.
The code you show here is never executed by IE but is processed on your webserver.
This means that somewere on your page you have Javescript that gives an error. Because Javascript has nothing to do with Java i suggest you ask advice on a Javscript forum and/or check the JAvascript

  • Error 403-forbidden from IE5 while authenticating a user through NT Realm

    Hi,
Before posting this request, I checked the forum until Sep.18 to see if nobody
else experienced my problem, but in vain.
    I am using WLS6.1Sp1 under NT4
I would like that NT users for defined NT Primary Domain Controller authenticate
themselves before accessing a web app. For that, I followed thoroughly the BEA
Doc to get the config.xml, web.xml, weblogic.xml and filerealm.properties correctly
    configured.
The <auth-method> is set to FORM. The <security-role> and <security-role-assignment>
are also set with business roles and principals from the NT PDC. the <security-constraint>
with all the sub-tags are also defined. etc.etc. When I use the WL console, to
check users and groups lists, it works fine although it takes a lot of time before
    being displayed (15 to 20 minutes !!!).
Through a Login.jsp, the user enters his/her login name and password. The result
is that I get the following message :
    "Error 403--Forbidden
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.4 403 Forbidden
The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization
will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated. If the request method was
not HEAD and the server wishes to make public why the request has not been fulfilled,
it SHOULD describe the reason for the refusal in the entity. This status code
is commonly used when the server does not wish to reveal exactly why the request
has been refused, or when no other response is applicable."
No trace in the log files. No warning . Nothing.
    My questions are:
1- Has somebody already experienced this?
2- Could you then help me ?
By advance , thank you very much.
    Athmani H.
Note : I can provide you through email the config.xml, web.xml, weblogic.xml and
filerealm.properties and the concerned .jsp files on demand

    Hi Jerry,
Many thanks for your interest and your help.
    weblogic.properties file for WLS 6.1 SP1? There is none... I do have a filerealm.properties. I didn't state that I was using a weblogic.properties
    file.
I checked the URL you proposed. I changed the <Auth-method> from FORM into BASIC.
A pop-up window is displayed requesting the user to enter username and password.
The result is that I get a web page displaying an Error 404 --not found.
Here is the complete error message :"Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found

to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden)
can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows,

The message is displayed when the browser tries to resolve the following URL :http://localhost:7001/examplesWebApp/j_security_check
Having said that, I had already configured the <security-role-assignement> with
role-name and principals in weblogic.xml, as well as the <security-role> tag in
    web.xml.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi Athmani,
weblogic.properties file for WLS 6.1 SP1? There is none... weblogic.properties
    is in WebLogic
5.1 and lower -- it was changed to config.xml for WLS 6.0 .. what are
    you using your
    weblogic.properties file for?
    Anyways,
I have gotten NTRealms to successfully work with WLS 6.1, with security
    on a web app, allowing
NT users to access certain resources. This stuff works.
Since you can see your users and groups through the console (even though
    it takes a while) I
think that your NTRealm setup is okay.
I would guess that you have a problem with your deployment descriptors
    in your web
    application.
There are quite a few posts in this newsgroup that illustrate how to
    set up security
constraints on resources in your web app with the deployment descriptors.
    For example, check out
    http://newsgroups.bea.com/cgi-bin/dnewsweb?cmd=article&group=weblogic.developer.interest.security&item=6244&utag=
Let me know how it goes, okay?

    Hi,
Before posting this request, I checked the forum until Sep.18 to seeif nobody
else experienced my problem, but in vain.
    I am using WLS6.1Sp1 under NT4
I would like that NT users for defined NT Primary Domain Controllerauthenticate
themselves before accessing a web app. For that, I followed thoroughlythe BEA
    Doc to get the config.xml, web.xml, weblogic.xml and filerealm.propertiescorrectly
    configured.
The <auth-method> is set to FORM. The <security-role> and <security-role-assignment>
are also set with business roles and principals from the NT PDC. the<security-constraint>
with all the sub-tags are also defined. etc.etc. When I use the WLconsole, to
check users and groups lists, it works fine although it takes a lotof time before
    being displayed (15 to 20 minutes !!!).
Through a Login.jsp, the user enters his/her login name and password. The result
is that I get the following message :
    "Error 403--Forbidden
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.4 403 Forbidden

No trace in the log files. No warning . Nothing.
    My questions are:
1- Has somebody already experienced this?
2- Could you then help me ?
By advance , thank you very much.
    Athmani H.
    Note : I can provide you through email the config.xml, web.xml, weblogic.xmland
filerealm.properties and the concerned .jsp files on demand
