PIX Backup Image in Flash

Can anyone tell me the boot behavior of the PIX when it comes to recovering from a corrupt/invalid image in flash?
Example: In flash I have 2 images:
image1.bin
image2.bin
What (if possible) are my options to have 2 images and a boot sequence so it tries a specific image first. This would be useful in an upgrade situation in case the newly applied image is corrupt or for any other reason can't boot the PIX.
This may be the default behavior - I'm just looking for confirmation or more details. Do I specify it using: "boot system flash:/image1.bin" and then will it try another if "image1.bin" is not successful?

So the problem is: the link to the flash file could be bad
and flash will not be loaded.
If ir happens I would like to show some default image. How
could I point it to object\embed tags to work in suxh way?
May be some mechanisms exist in java script?

WLC 5508 (7.6.100.0) - AP invalidates primary/backup image after reboot

I'm running 7.6.100.0 as default in production and wants wlc to boot with 7.5.102.0 if I run into issues regarding the 7.6.100.0.
To prepare I have predownloaded the backup image into all AP's.
However, if one AP reboots while the WLCis still running 7.6.100.0 the AP has an invalid primary image and need to re-download 7.6.100.0.
The backup image is then displayed as "3.0.51.0".
If someone reboots the AP, the reboot time is much longer than usually.
And the download might be an issue for some offices in Middle-East and Asia, since the WLC i located in Europe.
Due to some small VPN internet access lines.
This is something that came with version 7.6.100.0.
Before I upgraded the WLC, I was running 7.5.102.0 as primary and 7.3.112.0 as backup, with no issues regarding reboots and image.
Have anyone encounter this type of problem?
Any tips to solve this is much appreciated.

First of all I have narrow it down and found out that the 1130,1140, 1240 and 1250 are OK
AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 reboots and starts with prim: 7.6.100.0 backup: 7.5.102.0 status; OK
AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 reboots and starts with prim: 7.6.100.0 backup: 7.5.102.0 status; OK
AIR-LAP1242AG-E-K9 reboots and starts with prim: 7.6.100.0 backup: 7.5.102.0 status; OK
AIR-LAP1252AG-T-K9 reboots and starts with prim: 7.6.100.0 backup: 7.5.102.0 status; OK
It seems to be related to the 2602 and 3602 series.
Let me described the steps I did to pinpoint these two models.

I bought an ASUS laptop with no disc drive... and basically, there was no way I could boot up with an external DVD drive or USB

Which application do you use to create the image?
I use the Symantec ghost and Im very satisfied. I have created an image file which was placed at the second application and if something going wrong Im able to install the OS from the image file.
Furthermore this unit support RAID and the RAID driver must be installed to recognize the HDD.

Can't drag disk icon in Disk Utility to restore backup image

I'm restoring my MacBook from a backup image I made on my external HD with SuperDuper! and I've run into a big problem. I've booted from my OS X CD. I'm in Disk Utility, and while my external drive mounts and I can select the image in the 'restore' pane, I can't for the life of me drag any icon to the 'destination' field. Any help with this?

I have exactly the same problem,i backed up my internal HD, and want to restore it by starting my mac mini intel single core with the original delivered os dvd including diskutilities.But no way it is not possible to drag a volume or partition to the required field to the left.I called apple support and the guy did not understand what I'm talking about at all, and told me he will forward to the developer dep.

Yesterday my mac mini intel audio hardware has broken, so I have to do another bkp with booted up os dvd to bring in to a serviceprovider.
Tried to recover for security issues , but disk utilitiy did not work again , no drag 'n' drop possible - this problem never exists under powermac before and its driving me mad under intel macs
I did a trick to show thats it is definitely the revision of this os dvd and disk utilities (x86 intel rev.)
I did a clean install form this os dvd, then cloned the interal harddisk to a external firewire disk making it bootable (using ccc for all)
I did no software update just clean from the dvd, restarted , choosed external firewire harddisk, et voila - opened disk utilitiy to restore dmg image for the internal hd and drag 'n' drop works without problems!!
Resumee:
my delivered os dvd 10.4.5 AHT vesrion 3A102 disc version 1.0 2Z691-5738-A has the biggest bug of all, it can not recover a backed up image at all - that is a revision e.g. release bug (error).
I will have to return this dvd !

The issue here is the mapping of the interface to the service in question, and usually points to a possible mistype or rename of something within your service architecture.

If it's a simple image, it's easier just to import it to the
stage, save it as a symbol, put it in a timeline frame and then
code your link so on click or rollover it goes
'gotoAndPlay(framenumber)'.

Scrolling Text and Images in Flash CS3

I am pretty new to Flash and I have spent all day trying to
look up tutorials on making it possible to scroll text and images
in Flash but none of them are working for me. I know you save the
content into a movie clip but that's as far as i have gotten. would
anyone be able to walk me through this PLEASE???

You could use a Swing HTMLPANE or draw it all onto a
BufferedImage and display that (code posted under 2D graphics thread).

Images do not store text data in any isolateable manner, it is comprised of just pixels like anything else in the image. You would need to develop some form of complicated text recognition program to be able to extract text from an image, and I don't believe anyone has.

Load Random Image in Flash?

I've googled it and searched this forum. No luck.
Does anybody know how to load a random image in flash. Like
on a welcome screen (i.e. the first thing that shows up in my
timeline with a stop command on it)

let say you have 20 images file in jpg format, all at the
same directory with your flash file, with file name as below:
pic1.jpg
pic2.jpg
pic20.jpg
in your flash, select the frame which you wan to load a
random image, type script below:
num = Math.ceil(10*Math.random());

Can't import an Image into flash

When I tyr to import an Image onto Adobe Flash CS5, the image is balnk with grey outlines.
Same thing happens when I try and copy and paste a image onto flash.

I have created a dad on 9.0.3, and the import works. The dad in both are identical to what I can see. The 10gAS Apache logs has a preceding error message, here is the complete error messesages generated by the 10gAS Apache server when I try to import an application :

I have searched metalink for anyting on the "modplsql.lck" error and have not found anything.

Exporting images from flash

I'm currently porting a game from flash to the DS and having
difficulties exporting the images and was hoping someone out there
might be able to help. The images in flash are all vector based and
I need to export them and place them on a background (colour
255,0,255). The reason for the background colour is it is removed
programmically within the game (blue screening if you will).
Problem is, if I export them as png's and then add the background
in photoshop, or do a screenshot in flash with the image over the
background then it leaves a halo around the character.
Anyone know how to get around this?

You show a preview and use loadMovie() to load a big file.
You can
create a preloader (progress bar) showing how much part is
loaded,
while user sees the small image. When you achieve 100% tou
show that
big image. What's more?

What are you talking about is not a "streaming", but
"progressive
download". Images "streaming" is impossible.
