Plan version Current plan was set
Hi Experts,
I am working on the SAP HCM implementation in the Health Sector and this is the first time i am working in Health Sector Project, and one of the IS-Healthcare Consultant has raised the following issue saying it as HR, and i am unable to figure out if its my error or not,I checked all the settings from my end and everything seems to be fine from my end... Please Advise....
In IS-H there is a t-code called NB20 to create an organization structure in IS-H , but when he is trying to execute the t code thru easy access, it is giving a message saying " PLAN VERSION CURRENT PLAN WAS SET" ...

See MunPlan versions: A plan version is created in accounting and stores different cost plans for a project, such as an "optimistic" and a "pessimistic" plan.
Now coming to plan version 0 is verson where actaul cost is updated in your organisation.
Plan version 1 is used for the planning...
How to see the same in CJE5 is suggested by Virendra..
However there is no filed name planned cost in report but the name of the filed is Proj.cost sched.000
with which you can achieve your result.
path is run txn CJE5>give your Project no.> F8> in new screen> F5-->in new Window scroll down in the right side for the Proj.cost sched.000 filed > with select take the same to left side>Enter--> values will displyed for this field in your report.
similarly you can use the other fields as well... take help of F4, to know the meaning of fileds.

Options to maintain persons in active plan version from a current plan vers
Hi,
We have two plan version currently in use. Plan version 01 in the current status and plan version ZZ in the active status. Few employees are still with the current plan version and are active in the system.
Can anyone guide me how to maintain the Persons that are still with Plan Version 01 and active in the system ?
Because we need to somehow maintain them also with ZZ otherwise our Ugraded system wil not show all reports correctly...This would be considered as Masterdata correction....
I mean how to move the persons from the plan version 01 to active plan version ZZ and how there relationships will be maintained.

Thanks for the quick reply. I executed transacn PP01 . I entered the emp id . but when i select the infotype relationship and try to maintain or dispaly it; it takes me to either PA20 or PA30 screen.
Please guide me how to change the plan version of the employees.

Suppose if the value of NUMRG COMP is space then assigned number range will be used across all plan version's for different OM objectts.
And if the value of NUMRG COMP is 'x', Then each plan version will have different set of object range.
This has to be specified in OONR transaction.

rajeshCurrent plan mean : You are doing confguration or change system structure... ( this is model structures, u can have many plans, but current plan mean in which you are doing modifications)
Active Plan : This plan would be in sync with other modules like PP, SD, FI etc ....
Means, u can have many plan versions... but only one current plan and only one active plan. ( genarally active plan is current plan)

You can follow a convention that -
(1) Forecast Start/Finish dates: Used only for Primary planning, once initial planning is done you should not change these dates.
Now, you will copy the same dates in Basic Start/Finish dates also.
(2) Basic Start/Finish dates: Whatever changes are done after the initial planning, you will make the changes only in Basic Start/Finish dates.
So, in Project Planning board, if you enable Forecast and Basic dates with different color coding, you can clearly see the variation in the Project schedule.

When log-in, current server is set to "1"
Hi all,
I have recently installed SAP 8.81 to a server, which it works well ever after logging in for the first day.
However, when I checked SAP the next day, I noticed that I couldn't log-in because the Current Server was set to "1" and no other selection is found, which I would choose "MSSQL_2008"
I have also checked the SAP service manager, and the setup on the Configure Security is already correct. But still the problem exists even if the server has already been restarted.
Why is this so, and can you give me any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.The variable that is used in this report is 1VERP. You can changed this via GS12 to enter the whatever plan version to default under the default value. For your information, the report group 1AIP is run when you run the t-code S_ALRr_87013613, which inturn runs the report 1AIP-001 that incorporate the variable 1VERP under the plan data for version selection.
But this may not be the best practise, because you will be changing the SAP standard, which will be overwritten when you upload support packages or do an upgrade. Better you copy this report and use your own version variable, by copying the 1VERP. -

Query design question: multiple plan versions in single column
I have a standard financial statement query with current month "Actual" restricted to Value Type 10 and current month "Plan" using Value Type 20. This scenario is repeated for year-to-date Actual and Plan along with $ and % variance calculations. Until recently we were only loading plan version so I had no reason to restrict the plan to version 0 Actual/Plan.
We are now loading an alternate plan version, Version 1, and I would like to report both versions in the same query. I though I could just bring in "Version" as a Free Characteristic to easily switch between version 0 and 1 but that didn't work as expected.
With "Version" as a filter item my Plan amount will report both plan versions combined which is fine and when "Version" is filtered to the alternate version 1 Plan correctly displays the alternate amount, in both cases Actual is unchanged and displays correctly. The problem is when I change the filter to just show Version 0 which is defined as "Actual/Plan". When version 0 is selected the Plan amount displays correctly but ALL Actual values disappear.
No Version filter set = Actual/Plan and Plan Version 1 combined correctly. Actual displays correctly.
Filter set to 1 and 0 = Actual/Plan and Plan Version 1 combined correctly. Actual displays correctly.
Filter set to 1 = Plan Version 1 only. Actual displays correctly.
Filter set to 0 = Plan Version 0 only. No actual data is displayed.
Is there a better way of displaying multiple plan versions in a query or will I have to add additional columns for each plan version?

JeffThanks Amit that was the help I needed.
I added "Version" to every actual Key Figure and made each a Constant Selection. I also added Version as a Free Characteristic of the query for a filter.
By adding Version to each Key Figure no matter which plan version I select in the Version filter Actual data alway remains correct and just my Plan column changes to show the plan version I selected.

Carousel content cannot be edited under current Plan
Hello, I set up a trial site using the Adora template which employs a Carousel 'app'. After upgrading to a paid plan (webBasics+) and going live, the carousel content is visible but I cannot edit it or even access the files any more. Does this mean I need to upgrade to a higher priced plan, and which one is the minimum required to give me access to Carousel content editing? This is sort of disappointing already, I considered the Carousel part of 'dynamic' content and not really an 'app', so I anticipated being able to use it under my current plan. Also, there was no warning whatsoever when I went live, that my current content would not be compatible with the plan I was choosing.
Related to this, there doesn't seem to be a way for taking a live site offline and back to trial mode, for working on new features not available under one's paid plan. Or is there?

SotirisThat is not stopped by the plan. That is HTML and JavaScript and inline. The ability to create multiple items and just input content and everything lose happens for you uses web apps.

Some scenarios of the MSS need to be referenced to another plan version different than the current active.
Then, I'm trying to configuring my Object and Data Provider with the requisites needed. The issue is that how can I tell the system that the plan version is another one??

Thanks for your answers.Firstly, try to check whether the correct smartform is getting picked or a different form is getting picked. TO identify, set soft break-point inside your program lines or use SF_TRACE.
If it is still picking the same smartform, and it is not showing your changes.. then goto form attributes and check whether it is translated to all languages or not?
I guess, because of one of the above two problems it is not displaying your form correctly.

go to oopv transaction and create the different plan version
2. then go to table T77S0 and set current plan version to plogi plogi
3. go to transaction ppom_old here in settings you can choose current plan or any other plan.
4. if you want to copy exsisting org structure to other plan version see the report: RE_RHCOPL00
Plan Version Contains a one or two alphanumeric key which differentiates between
scenarions in you organizational plan.
Organizational Management allows you to manage scenarios in parallel in
various plan versions.
It basically defines which plan of the org structure to use.Suppose if want one current org structure (say A)and one org structure for future( say B) after 2 years,then we take 01 ie current plan as assign to the org structure A and assign 02 to org structure B.This will say that A is the current plan and if want an alternative plan its B. Hope i am clear
