Planed Cost value for order

Hi gurus,
I'm just a beginner at this SAP module, so I would be very grateful for your help...
When I first create a maintenance order through transaction IW31, and go to Costs tab, i wonder how Co/area Curr value is calculated, because it doesnt' seem to take it from Tcurr table since the currency change is different from the one is used in this tab.... i hope u can help me with this doubt....
Thanks a Lot,
Daniel Siñani

Hi,
Please check the your setting in customising for below path
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>>Maintenance and Service Processing>Functions and Settings for Order Types-->Costing Data for Maintenance- and Service Orders
1)Maintain Costing Sheet
2)Maintain Costing Variants
3)Define Valuation Variants
4)Assign Costing Parameters and Results Analysis Keys

  • Can anybody tell me how to extract sales value and cost value for an materi

    dear all,
    Can anybody tell me how to extract sales value and cost value for an material sold .
    All the values of cost value and sale values are getting  stored in bseg-wrbtr field .
    How to identify them uniquely.
    Or there is another way to find the sale and cost values.
    Regards
    Mave

    Hi Mave!
    Normally there is no condition change, when something is sold.
    But sales price depends on sales conditions (not only price, but also surcharges, discounts, taxes - if customized).
    Nevertheless, after selling you have a invoice document, where correct values <i>should</i> be stored (see VBRP fields mentioned above). If here is a problem, then customizing of price determination is in question, not a programming of user-exits with MARD selection for costs (or some other tries to get a price).
    When you specify your requirements more in detail, you might get better answers - but currently only general hints are possible ('see in invioce / G/L accounts').

  • Default Value for Order Type based on Company Code  in ME21N

    Hi,
         Using ME21N, I want to make the PO type defaulted to a certain company code, say for instance Company code  XYZ should have a PO type XYZ Purchase Order, ..company ABC should have a PO type ABC Purchase Order, and so on...I'm just puzzled how to implement it. I know that we can set a Default value for PO Headers in Personal Settings but its doesnt give the result I want coz it will only have one Default Value. What I wanted is when a certain company code is chosen, automatically, the corresponding PO type for that Company code will be displayed in the Order Type drop-down menu (so there's no need to choose on the drop down list what Order type) Is this possible in ABAP? Hope i made myself clear.
        Thanks in Advance.

    Use BADI IF IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST - method OPEN
    View the interface documentation in transaction SE19 and you will see the method OPEN can be used :
    2. Opening of a purchase order (OPEN method)
    The system opens a new document to create, change or display a purchase order. With the OPEN method,
    <b>you can import your own data and prepare it for further processing.</b>
    This is available in 4.7 Enterprise but not sure how far back.....
    hope this helps

  • Different Cost values for full table scans

    I have a very simple query that I run in two environments (Prod (20 CPU) and Dev (12 CPU)). Both environemtns are HPUX, oracle 9i.
    The query looks like this:
    SELECT prd70.jde_item_n
    FROM gdw.vjda_gdwprd68_bom_cmpnt prd68
    ,gdw.vjda_gdwprd70_gallo_item prd70
    WHERE prd70.jde_item_n = prd68.parnt_jde_item_n
    AND prd68.last_eff_t+nvl(to_number(prd70.auto_hld_dy_n),0)>= trunc(sysdate)
    GROUP BY prd70.jde_item_n
    When I look at the explain plans, there is a significant difference in cost and I can't figure out why they would be different. Both queries do full table scans, both instances have about the same number of rows, statistics on both are fresh.
    Production Plan:
    0 SELECT STATEMENT Optimizer=ALL_ROWS (Cost=18398 Card=14657 B
    ytes=249169)

    4 2 TABLE ACCESS (FULL) OF 'GDWPRD68_BOM_CMPNT' (Cost=1076

    There seems to be no reason for the costs to be so different, but I'm hoping that someone will be able to lead me in the right direction.

    This link may help:
    http://jaffardba.blogspot.com/2007/07/change-behavior-of-group-by-clause-in.html
    But looking at the explain plans one of them uses a SORT (GROUP BY) (higher cost query) and the other uses a HASH GROUP BY (GROUP BY) (lower cost query). From my searches on the `Net the HASH GROUP BY is a more efficient algorithm than the SORT (GROUP BY) which would lead me to believe that this is one of the reasons why the cost values are so different. I can't find which version HASH GROUP BY came in but quick searches indicate 10g for some reason.
    Are your optimizer features parameter set to the same value? In general you could compare relevant parameters to see if there is a difference.
    Hope this helps!

  • Cost value for third party sales order scenario

    Greetings, I have a cost question involving the Third Party Sales Order (Item category TAS).
    At billing (VF01), the cost being picked up by the system are the value from the PO (PBXX condition type). I would like the system to pick up the entire  COGS value (inclusive of freight values) posted at MIGO.
    Ex. If Purchase price is 100 and freight is 20, I want 120 (the COGS value) to be shown in the cost field. It currently shows 100.
    The steps I follow are
    1) Create OR sales order (item category TAS)
    2) Create PO referencing PR
    3) Goods Receipt  D 120 COGS/ C 100 GRIR /C 20 freight
    4) Outbound Delivery (Confirmation only)
    5) Billing (Costs showing 100?!)
    Again, only the PBXX condition type value (From MM Calculation Schema) is being picked up.
    How can I get the system to pick up the freight value as well?
    Regards
    Ken

    Hi,
    If you bring the Freight condition after PBXX and include in the net value, your problem will be solved.  so it will be 120 in MIGO, MIRO, Dellivery and VPRS in billing.
    We have the same situation and its working fine for us.
    Thanks
    Krishna.

  • Tabale for Actual cost value for Process orders

    Hi Friends
    From which table can we retrive the actual values relates to process orderwise, like actual material consumption cost, activites cost, overhead cost and other costs.

    Hi
    You would find the actual for process orders in Table COEP with Object Number = OP*. Also Check if you would require COSS, COSP for Controlling Tables and to get the Object numbers you need to used AFPO with Order type of Process order PI01...

  • Planned cost/ value for CJ40 tcode

    Hi
    We have a requirement where we need to find out the Planned Costs  booked against a WBS element, in a year. The costs can be against all the plan versions or on individual plan version.How to find total  object-numbesr for a WBS element
    Regards
    Ravi.

    Hi Swastik,
    Those cost elements (category 31) are used to calculate and store WIP values at the detailed level of so called line IDs.
    Line IDs are groups of cost elements that were posted to production order.
    For example you can calculate and store WIP separately for Raw Materials, Semis, Activities and overhead.
    You can also settle them to different GL Accounts via mapping in txn.OKG8.
    Hope it helps,
    Szymon

  • Rounding value for PR Quantity

    Dear Expert,
    Can we have rounding value for order quantity in Purchase Requisition? So we do not need to calculate the PO quantity based on the rounding value we have determined in material master / get the error  message "Order quantity violates rounding rules while we creating the Purchase order.
    And What is rounding profile? can we use this to set the rounding value for PR quantity?
    Hope to see ur feedback soon.
    Thanks
    Pauline

    Hi Dick Hua,
    Thanks for your feedback.
    i understand what you are trying to explain to me , can we do some changes / customizing from your statement, so that the manually created PR can have effect on rounding value, same as when we run the MRP.
    Can you tell me What is rounding profile used for? can I used rounding profile to solve my customizing?
    Thanks

  • Hide cost value in documents.

    Dear everybody,
    Someone knows, if there is some choice to hide the value in the field cost.   I dont know if I am wrong, but I heard its possible marke that value with asterisks to protect it.
    I was trying in general authorizations but the value is always visible.
    Thanks a lot.
    Daniel.

    Thanks a lot Gordon,
    This recomendation is to do it in every document, for example I should do it in the item master data and to all of every marketing documents too and after I have to make an Aditional Authorizations creator to the form settings? If I am wrong thanks for your future information.
    Is there other choice to do this topic general in the way to protect the cost value for all the users and documents.
    Thanks a lot for your help.

  • TCode for calculating cost by sales order number - EK02 condition value

    In our case we have order item based cost. For each order item we push the calculator button and calculate the cost. The system adds the EK02 condition by this way. But is there a transaction code where we enter the sales order number and the system calculates the cost and adds the EK02 condition?

    Hi,
    T-code is KVBI  and or explore sales order costing

  • Function module expression for dynamic value for Cost center in BRF

    Hello Experts,
    We are in SRM 7.0 and our business object is shopping cart using BRF.
    Right now we have Cost Center Approver and its evaluation id ()zev_sc_**_*) has expression zc_sc_*_** that checks whether overallvalue >= 5000. It initiates cost center approver only if value is greater than or equal to 5000. But this is static expression. We want it in a dynamic way so that we don't have to modify this value frequently. Therefore we have set approach to use an expression of Function Module BAdI as expression. We have a new z table which contains value field zval. Now I want to know how or what should be the process so that this FM knows the corresponding value from a z table that user might select in the SC.How it should be linked to this. I am using /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP000 function module. Please advise where should the code be written ? Any method ? And what should be the exporting and importing parameters for this ?
    Right now I can see EV_VALUE, EV_TYPE, EV_CURRENCY etc as exporting paramters. Looking for your suggestions experts.
    Thank you.
    Best regards.

    Dear abhijeet,
    just follow the steps.
    i) I believe you have created the event as Zev_***  with implememt Class     0EVENT.
    ii) copy the std fm /SAPSRM/WF_BRF_0EXP000 to z custom fm
    iii)  since you want to have an  expression as function module procurement type create expression  with
    expression type  0CF001
                                                                                    result type B ( boolean)
                                                                                    Buffering as event-controlled buffering
    and very important procurement type as function module.
    iv) immediatly you may find written as AccessFM where pass your custom z function module.
    v) finally link this expression to your event.
    In the custom function module  the exporting parameter EV_VALUE is solely responsible for identifieng the approval based upon the approval criteria. If the field EV_VALUE = 'X' this notify that the approval is required  for current process level, otherwise if it is initial then it will skip the current level and continue with the next level.
    whatever your coding should be written in FM.
    just look into below code
      DATA LO_WF_BRF_EVENT       TYPE REF TO /SAPSRM/CL_WF_BRF_EVENT.
      DATA LO_CONTEXT_PROVIDER   TYPE REF TO /SAPSRM/IF_WF_CONTEXT_PROVIDER.
      DATA: LV_HEADER LIKE BBP_PDS_SC_HEADER_D.
      DATA: LT_ITEM TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF BBP_PDS_SC_ITEM_D.
      LO_WF_BRF_EVENT ?= IO_EVENT.
      LO_CONTEXT_PROVIDER = LO_WF_BRF_EVENT->GET_CONTEXT_PROVIDER( ).
      CALL METHOD LO_CONTEXT_PROVIDER->GET_DOCUMENT
        IMPORTING
          EV_DOCUMENT_GUID = LV_DOCUMENT_GUID
          EV_DOCUMENT_TYPE = LV_DOCUMENT_TYPE.
    pass this guid in the below function module in order to get the SC details.
    GET SC DETAILS
      CALL FUNCTION 'BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL'
        EXPORTING
          I_GUID    = LV_DOCUMENT_GUID
        IMPORTING
          E_HEADER  = LV_HEADER
        TABLES
          E_ITEM    = LT_ITEM
    After that loop the internal  table LT__ITEM   and you decide based upon your approval criteria for each line item level wheather the gross price of  line item is exceed 5000k or not.
    you should decide the value for field EV_VALUE within the loop so that each line item will be verified for approval.
    Pls contribute if this helpfull.
    regards

  • Reduce Remaining Order Planned value for services with PO

    Hi guys,
    I'am looking for a way to reduce the remaining or residual order plan value for a network activity with services where the amount on the PO is below the planned value. If for example the planned value amounts up to 1000 and the PO has been reduced due to negotiations to 900, a remainder order plan of 100 remains on the network activity till the activity is technically closed.
    Is there a way to reduce the ROP when a PO exists for the network activity?
    Thanks, Geert

    We are combining an early visibility of all costs and a strict budget availability control with a formal procedure for project managers to request additional budget.
    We have more and more projects where a part of the budget remains blocked in ROP for service activities because the planned value was more pessimistic than the real PO amount. Since these service activities are typically executed at the end of the project that part remains blocked. Of course the project managers want to use that marging elsewhere without having to pass a request for additional budget.
    We have no issue with the network activity planned costs remaining visible, we just want the ROP to be 0 when a the purchase requisition for the service activity has been transformed into a purchase order. In the above example 100 of the budget would be freed for other use.

  • There are values for cost element 80000 that are not assigned to any line I

    Hi,
    While calulating WIP I am getting below error:
    There are values for cost element 80000 that are not assigned to any line ID
    Message no. KJ161
    Diagnosis
    Not all values for the cost element are assigned to a line ID.
    Procedure
    Assign the cost element to a line ID. If you don't want to include the cost element in results analysis, assign it to a line ID of category N.
    You can access a detailed list of unassigned cost elements as follows: Start results analysis in the individual processing mode (transaction KKA1, KKA2, or KKA3). Select the field Full log. Execute the function. On the next screen, choose Logs -> Parameter List in the menu. A list is generated. The unassigned values are shown at the end of the list.
    If cost element "+++++++++" was shown in the message, this is because in the assignment of costs and revenues to line IDs, you have not used a cost element other than the full masking "+++++++++". In this case a presummarization eliminates the information on the cost element.
    Cost Element 80000 is of type 43 Internal activity allocation, I have Masked this in OKGB as below:
    Controlling Area = FLGP
    RA Version = 0
    Masked Cost Element = 000008++++
    Masked Cost Center = ++++++++++
    Masked Activity Type = +++++
    ReqToCap= COS (Secondary Cost)
    I have Configure OKGA also but still system is giving error.
    Please help me to understand.
    Regards,
    Vivek

    I was wondering if you could help me I am trying to configure the RA key for Refurb orders and when I go into txn OKGB for the Assignment of C/E for WIP there is sample config already there which I copied.  But I am having difficulty getting the KK1A to work I am getting the message as outlined above.  Could you explain how this OKGB works and how to configure it a bit more fully.  In my sample config there is a ReqTOCap section and in it there are letters like ABR, EK, FK, EL what do they mean.  This is a screen shot of it.  I am not sure how to go about this entirely so any light you could shed would be greatly appreciated.  Can you suggest a good resource or documentation you may have, would be greatly appreciated.

  • Report for extracting the actual and planned cost from service orders

    HI all
    we are creating a report in BI for Module - Customer service . LIke , the report is all about how many complaints created in the system and how many completed technically and what is the cost involved for each complaint .
    Like we want the comparision between the planned cost and the actual cost .
    Now to give the logic to the BI Team for planned cost and actual cost , please suggest the flow of logic or table flow to arrive the planned and actual cost
    thanks in advance

    Hi Marthand,
    I am not sure which datasource your are using. In this case, you can use the 0VALUETYPE to differencitae between th eplan and actuals. Normally Plan which is budget will have value 050 and for actuals will have 010. For costs, you will have one key figure and at the reporting level, you will have the costs restricted by the value type for plan and actual to make comparisons.
    Hope this helps.

    Srinivas
