Planned Value in sap pm order

Hello All,
Please explain me from where the planned value updates in refurbishment order in sap pm.
Thanks,
Regards,
piyush

Split Valuation means that you can define various prices for a Material in the master data (Accounting1 tab) dependent on a certain categorization - Valuation Type. When you have set the Valuation Category for a material to 'C', you may create additional views in Accounting for the material, with a different price for each Valuation Type, e.g.
C1 - new part - €1000 (new purchased value)
C2 - damaged part - €10 (scrap value)
C3 - refurbished part -  €700 (value based on the cost of refurbishment)
Then with the Refurbishment Order you can take a C2 material & "convert" it to C3, adjusting the price & stock value for your refurbished parts.
Learn more about the Split Valuation concept at SAP Help & SCN:

As for the other question, you are probably seeing the cost of the material you are going to refurbish, from the Order header (what is your price control & price for this material in MM03?)

  • How to update planned values in SAP PS

    Hi all,
I'm trying to update a cost planning in SAP PS from an interactive report.
Does anyone know of a function module or class I can use for this? Or come up with another clever solution to do something similar.
    Some extra info:
The manual transaction for this is CJ40 of CJR5 (with own defined planner profile)
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

    Hi BERT,
Thanks for my first ever SDN points!!! I've no idea what they do but it sure feels good to have them
    With regards to your question:
It's taken a while but I've found something you might find useful. Rather than just giving you a code snippet, I've found a program that is dedicated to this FM! Please have a look at program:
    <b>RKKIPL1P</b> (Example Program K_COSTS_PLAN_INTERFACE_PERIOD).
    I hope this helps.

  • Negative Planned Values in CJ40

    Dear Guru's,
i am getting negative planned values in CJ40 against Order/Network column. I am unable to find the root of this value.
Here i am using the network costing, BOM's and MRP run process. So can any one tell me how to find the root of that negative cost plan value.
    Reagrds,
    Rao.

    Hi Rao,
Could you please perform the below steps?
    1. Execute the transaction CJEN for the affected project
    2. Execute the report BPDIST0 in SE38 for the affected project
Should the problem still persists, please implement the report ZAIMPLDL
    from the attached note 887864.
    1. Execute the report ZAIMPLDL for the project
    2. Then execute CJEN and BPDIST0 again.

  • Production order having no planned values

We are in Make to order scenario.  The production order for the parent material is created with reference to a Sales Order.  While costing the production order for the parent, total planned price is displayed as zero.  we have maintained price control std price for all configurable materials(parent & child) with zero price being configurable materials.
We dont understand why the production order is having no price. BOM, routing, etc. are in place. What are the possible reasons as to why costing is having no value for the production order ?

    Dear Nikkitha,
Normally, the planned prices for the Production order are displayed as per the costing variant that apperas in the Production Order control tab (passes down from the order type). This has no relation with the sales order cost estimate which is used for Target price calculations.
Also, you can check when the Planned Prices of the Production order are calculated in the Transaction (OKZ3) for the order type.

  • Reduce Remaining Order Planned value for services with PO

    Hi guys,
I'am looking for a way to reduce the remaining or residual order plan value for a network activity with services where the amount on the PO is below the planned value. If for example the planned value amounts up to 1000 and the PO has been reduced due to negotiations to 900, a remainder order plan of 100 remains on the network activity till the activity is technically closed.
Is there a way to reduce the ROP when a PO exists for the network activity?
    Thanks, Geert

We are combining an early visibility of all costs and a strict budget availability control with a formal procedure for project managers to request additional budget.
We have more and more projects where a part of the budget remains blocked in ROP for service activities because the planned value was more pessimistic than the real PO amount. Since these service activities are typically executed at the end of the project that part remains blocked. Of course the project managers want to use that marging elsewhere without having to pass a request for additional budget.
We have no issue with the network activity planned costs remaining visible, we just want the ROP to be 0 when a the purchase requisition for the service activity has been transformed into a purchase order. In the above example 100 of the budget would be freed for other use.

  • Does sales order assigned to WBSe increases plan value of WBS element

    Hello Experts,
In my project, planning is done using activities, so ideally CN41 report displays the plan values (Proj.cost sched.000) for the network and the WBS assigned to the netwok is same.
E.g. 1000 USD planned for network = 1000 USD planned for the WBSe.
But for one of the project, I see the WBS planned value is more than that of Network though we plan only in NTW.
I can see a sales order assiged to this WBSe for which sales order billing value 1500 USD displayed in CN41 in revenue plan column.
Is there anything like sales order planning? the billing value is for revenue generation but does sales order planning also required? like to complete the sales order, how much is my plan cost? does the sales order plan cost gets updated in the WBS plan cost?
I am asking this question becasue if i look in CJ41 (Display WBS planning) I can see all the cost displayed in the column Order/network
Please clarify me on the sales order assignment.
    Regards,

Thanks for the reply and clearing my doubt on sales order.
    my problem is as below:
Cost planned on the network: 1000 USD
as in my project, planning is done only on NTW, CN41 report should show:
    Project Object---- Proj.cost sched.000
    WBS.0001------ 1000 USD
    Network --- 1000 USD
however, CN41 report is showing as below:
    Project Object---- Proj.cost sched.000
    WBS.0001------ 1100 USD
    Network --- 1000 USD
I can see that the 100 USD are directly planned on the WBSe if I see the values as non aggregated but I am not able to understand how 100 USD are planned on the WBSe.
If I see CJ41, I can see Planned 1100 USD under the column Order/network
This means that all 1100 usd's are planned using orders/network.
Please help me understanding why there is a difference of 100 USd's at network and WBS level and how to find out where the additional 100 USDs are planned on WBSe.
    Thanks

  • ECP Planned values into Sales order

    Hi,
I have a scenario where client maiantians the planned costs with ECP for around 50 wbs elements. Client would like to bill the customer based on the planned costs of wbs elements.
He would like to see all the wbs elements as individula line items in the sales order and then he will add some mark up and then bill the customer.
Is there any process where i can transfer the planned cost of each wbs element into sales order as line items?
    Please suggest.
    Rams

    Hi Ravi,
I am using an internal activity and sometimes maiantaining ECP for activities also. But when i click on sales price system is not picking up the activity plan values. I tried different combinations on ODP1 but its not triggering the activity ecp values.
Characteristics i chose in the DIP profile are
    1. Activity number   Char relevant
    2.Cost element            do
    3.Material                     do                   mat determination
    4.object number          do
    5.Transaction Currency do                 No Summarization
    6.UOM                          do                      do
    7.WBS                          do
i didnt selected structuring for any of these characteristics.
Could you pls tell me how to pick the activity into sales price screen.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Settling plan values from Order to Contract

I'm creating a Service Order against a Service Contract.  This service order does not have any revenue, but only costs.  When I create the order, I enter the components and other costs required.  This is considered as planned costs.  Later, I book actuals and then settle the same to Contract.
When I settle, only the actual costs are moved to the contract.  Plan costs show zero.  So if I run KKAC or S_ALR_87013104 reports, the planned costs column shows zero in the settled items.
How to get the planned costs to settle to the contract?
    Ravi.

    Hi Friends,
I am facing a similar issue.
We have a process where we create a service order and plan costs on the order.
Later a contract will be created with billing plan. The contract is assigned to service order manually.
After actual costs are booked to the service order the same is settled to Contract.
When I run RA for Contract I dont see the planned costs so the POC is giving correct results.
I am not sure where exactly the issue is. Could you please explain what you meant by settlement of plan values also?
Should I map the settled values in RA line iD to SET?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vamsi

  • Rem order plan value exist for  difference between  PO & GR value

    Dear Experts ,
In PS  report S_ALR_87013558  it is found that  the difference between Service PO & GR value is reflecting in Rem. Order plan.
    against the WBS.
According to my understanding the difference between Material PO value & GR value reflects as outstanding commitment. Hence I assume that the same should happen in case of Service procurement also.
Kindly let me know whether the reporting is correct or not.
If the reporting is incorrect, then what could be the reason for the same and how this problem can be tackled.
    Regards,
    Vishal

    Hi
Check if you have ticked remaining order plan value updation under costing in customization (both check boxes). If those are checked your plan value becomes assigned values always and if there is any residue it will be there under plan value.
Also note that for service PO, once all entry sheets are posted, for final entry sheet user should click FINAL ENTRY in SES. It will remove any residual commitment.

  • PS : Plan value query in Plan report S_ALR_87013533.

    Dear PS Experts,
We are refering to a report T-Code : S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned. For one of the WBS, we find some planned values.
We checked the following for Plan value research :
    1.  In CJ40/CJ41 : We find Plan values in the fields "Planned Total" against that WBS Element.
    2.  In CJR3 : No plan values inserted / uploaded. Meaning its all blank and there's no WBS having any Plan Values against any Cost Elements.
With the help of F1, on the field of "Planned Total" of CJ40/CJ41, I could find explanation & understand "Plan total is the annual or overall plan value including existing values from unit costing and cost element planning. In the cost planning of projects, the plan total also includes the plan total for all orders and networks assigned to the chosen WBS element and those subordinate to it."
Please help me to know :
    1.  If not CJ40 or CJR3, then from where do I am getting Plan values.
    2.  From where would I be able to find those line items (planned or actuals) reflecting in the

    Hi,
I m just refering to report T-Code : S_ALR_87013533 - Plan/Actual/Commitment/Rem.Plan/Assigned. In that, for one of the WBS, we find some planned values.
Refering to CJ33, we observe that the :
    1.  Overall Budget is 985,000.00
    2.  Planned Total is 1,321,986.41
We checked CJ40 & CJR3 and have found that we havent uploaded any plan values (thru both the T-Codes), but still Plan Values Total shows as 1,321,986.41
Please help me to know : If not CJ40 or CJR3, then from where do I am getting Plan values.

  • Planned values of profit centers not showing up in customised report painte

    Hi,
I made a customised profit center report via report painter.  I have already uploaded planned values in KP06.  In the customised report painter, the record type is "1" (plan) and version is "0" for actual/plan.  The columns for the planned values do not show any figures.  But when I generate std SAP report S_ALR_87013340 - Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance, it shows the plan values.  In that way, I know that the cost center upload is correct.
Please advise on how to show the plan values on the report painter.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Thess

    Hi,
ahhh...the fact that you can see the actual values has made me realize what the problem might be. GLPCP and GLPCA (actual line items) use different fields in regard to the period. I assume that you are utilizing the POPER characteristic to select the periods....correct?
In that case please try the following: copy library 8A3 into the customer name space (I would always base customized reports on your own library). In your copy activate the RPMAX characteristic. The re-create your report based on the new library and make the following changes: use RPMAX in the general selection and only use POPER in the column definition for the actual values. That should work.
    Regards
    Karl
P.S....hope you bear in mind that such a report is a potential performance nightmare.
