Planning Manager is not Loading data into Forecast Interface table

Hi
I have created a forecast set with name 'ABCD-IA' and I am inserting a row into the mrp_ofrefcast_interface table.The rows are not processed by the Planing Manager and it is pendign with the status of 2.The planning manager is up and running.
Here is my insert statement.
insert into mrp.mrp_forecast_interface
(inventory_item_id,forecast_designator,organization_id,forecast_date,quantity,process_status,transaction_id,source_code,workday_control,last_update_date,last_updated_by,creation_date,created_by,confidence_percentage,bucket_type ,attribute1)
values (51046,'ABCD-IA',84,sysdate,100,2,null,to_char(sysdate,'RRMMDD'),3,sysdate,-1,sysdate,-1,100,1,'INSS');
Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you to go through this link on how to write pl/sql block.

For your question it could be re-written as follows :
create or replace package body asg_change
is
  procedure p1...
  is
  begin
   insert into org_change
    sl_no, status, org_name, effective_start_date, person_id, assignment_number
  SELECT xxkdd_asg_seq.nextval, 'NP' status, hr_general.decode_organization (paaf.organization_id) organization_name, paaf.effective_start_date, paaf.person_id, paaf.assignment_number
  FROM per_all_assignments_f paaf
  WHERE EXISTS
     SELECT 1 FROM per_all_assignments_f paafi
     WHERE NVL (paafi.organization_id, 0) != NVL (paaf.organization_id, 0)
         AND (paaf.effective_start_date- 1) BETWEEN paafi.effective_start_date AND paafi.effective_end_date
         AND paafi.assignment_id = paaf.assignment_id
end p1
end asg_change;Also check this post.

Tom-- I subscribe to your SQL mantra for data (and truly, is there anything else? :))
which is:
1. Do it in a single SQL statement if at all possible.
2. If you cannot, then do it in PL/SQL (as little PL/SQL as possible!).
3. If you cannot do it in PL/SQL, try a Java Stored Procedure
(extremely rarely necessary with Oracle9i and above.)
4. If you cannot do it in Java, do it in a C external procedure.
(when raw speed, or 3rd party API written in C is needed.)
5. If you cannot do it in a C external routine, you might want to seriously think
about why it is you need to do it...Hope this helps.

  • Can anyone confirm the date used for pushing the data into AR interface table? Is it abse don Actual ship date or scheduled ship date?

    Can anyone confirm the date used for pushing the data into AR interface table? Is it abse don Actual ship date or scheduled ship date? We are facing a scenario where trx date is lower than the actual ship to which logically sounds incorrect.
    Appreciate any quick response around this.

    Hi,
    Transaction date  will be your autoinvoice master program submission level date (If you haven't setup any logic.
    Please check the program level default date, if user enter old date ststem will pick the same.
    Customer is trying to set the value of the profile OM:Set receivables transaction date as current date for non-shippable lines at the responsiblity level. System does not set the transaction date to current date in ra_interface_lines_all.
    CAUSE
    Customer has used the functionality in R11i. But after the upgrade to R12, the system functions differently than R11i.
    SOLUTION
    1.Ensure that there are no scheduled workflow background process run.
    2.Set the profile "OM: Set Receivables Transaction Date as Current Date for Non-Shippable Lines"  at Responsibility level only as Yes.
    3.Now switch the responsibility to which the profile is set.
    4.Create order for Non-Shippable Lines and progress it to invoicing.
    5.Ensure that the 'workflow background process' concurrent program is run in the same responsibility and this line is considered in it.
    6.Now check if the 'SHIP_DATE_ACTUAL' is populated to ra_interface_lines_all

  • Sql* Loader syntax to load data into a partitioned table

    Hi All,
    I was trying to load data from a csv file to a partitioned table.
    The table name is countries_info
    columns :
    country_code ,
    country_name,
    country_language
    The column country_code is list partitioned with partition p1 for values 'EN','DE','IN' etc
    and partition p2 for 'KR','AR','IT' etc.
    I tried to load data into this table, but I was getting some error Message (not mapping to partitioned key).
    I tried syntax
    load data
    infile 'countries.csv'
    append
    into table countries_info
    partition(p1) ,
    partition(p2)
    fields terminated by ','
    country_code ,
    country_name,
    country_language
    What is the correct syntax- I searched a lot but have not been able to find out.

    Hi All,
    I tried to load data into this table, but I was getting some error Message (not mapping to partitioned key).It's not some error message, it's relevant information for resolving problems you encounter while using Oracle.
    In your case, although you didn't specifiy the exact ORA you recived, it sounds like [ORA-14400|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=ORA-14400&objID=f61&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001]
    What is the correct syntax- I searched a lot but have not been able to find out.It's not about correct syntax , it's about understanding message that was trying to tell you that something went wrong.
    That message was (i guess) ORA-14400.
    So, refering to that ORA message , you will need to add new partition ,
    where the data from your csv file that currently don't map to any of the specified partition would fit ,
    or add partition that would be able to accept data range in which value/s for which you received that ORA message could fit into.

    Hi,
    The select command is the most fundamental function of writing ABAP programs allowing the retrieval of data from SAP database tables.
    Try filling the 3rd internal table with Loop ... Endloop.
    Loop at t_tcurr.
    Read table t_rabr with key field1 = t_tcurr-field1.
    If sy-subrc  = 0.
    Move t_tcurr-field1 = itab_final-field1.
    Move t_tcurr-field2 = itab_final-field2.
    Move  t_rabr -field3 = itab_final-field3.
    Move  t_rabr -field4 = itab_final-field4.
    Append itab_final.
    Endloop.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Doubt on inserting data into rcv interface tables

    Hi all,can anyone kindly suggest me what are the mandatory columns in rcv_headers_interface and rcv_transactions_interface tables to insert data so that after running Material Transaction Processor concurrent program the data in these interface tables should populate in rcv_shipment_headers and rcv_shipment_lines.

    Thanks for your reply Sandeep Gandhi,i followed your advice and went through that metalink note but it didn't help much.Errors are cropping up every time,i am testing with only one value right now.Am i missing something like the flow of the whole process..
    --->First i have loaded data into mtl_interface table
    --->Next,i am trying to insert into rcv_headers_interface and rcv_transactions_interface
    So,is there any link between the data i am passing into mtl interface table and rcv interface tables?

    iam new to oracle applications.....i just want to know how to load data into gl_interface table using pl/sql (that is...first loading data into a temporary table and then using pl/sql procedure to load into gl_interface). can anybody help me out with this by providing the pl/sql structure for it??
    thanx in advance

    Asuming you have data in a datafile and file is camma delimited. I asume table has two columns you can add more columns also.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE p10
          IS
          lv_filehandle                                UTL_FILE.FILE_TYPE;
          lv_iicc_premium                              ref_cursor;
          lv_newline                                   VARCHAR2(2000); -- Input line
          lv_header_line                               VARCHAR2(20);
          lv_trailer_line                              VARCHAR2(20);
          lv_file_dir                                  VARCHAR2(100);
          lv_file_name                                 VARCHAR2(100);
          lv_col1                                      VARCHAR2(10);
          lv_col2                                      VARCHAR2(50);
          lv_comma                                     VARCHAR2(1) := ',';
        BEGIN
           gv_PrFnName := '[pr_iicc_premium]';
           DELETE FROM temp_table;
            lv_file_dir  := 'p:\temp';
            lv_file_name  := 'test.dat';
            lv_filehandle := UTL_FILE.FOPEN (lv_file_dir, lv_file_name, 'r', 32766);
            UTL_FILE.PUT_LINE (lv_filehandle, lv_header_line);
            LOOP
               FETCH lv_iicc_premium INTO lv_newline;
               EXIT WHEN lv_iicc_premium%NOTFOUND;
               UTL_FILE.PUT_LINE (lv_filehandle, lv_newline);
               lv_col1 := substr(lv_newline, 1, instr(lv_newline, ',', 1)-1);
               lv_col2 := substr(lv_newline, instr(lv_newline, ',', 1)+1, instr(lv_newline, ',', 2)-1);
               INSERT INTO temp_table VALUES (lv_col1, lv_col2);
               COMMIT;
            END LOOP;
            INSERT INTO your_production_tables VALUES ( SELECT * FROM temp_table );
            COMMIT;
            UTL_FILE.FFLUSH (lv_filehandle);

           WHEN UTL_FILE.INVALID_OPERATION then

  • How to  load data into user tables using DIAPIs?

    Hi,
    I have created an user table using UserTablesMD object.
    But I don't have know how to load data into this user table. I guess I have to use UserTable object for that. But I still don't know how to put some data in particular column.
    Can somebody please help me with this?
    I would appreciate if somebody can share their code in this regard.
    Thank you,
    Sudha

    You can try this code:
    Dim lRetCode As Long
    Dim userTable As SAPbobsCOM.UserTable
    userTable = pCompany.UserTables.Item("My_Table")
    'First row in the @My_Table table
    userTable.Code = "A1"
    userTable.Name = "A.1"
    userTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_1stF").Value = "First row value"
    userTable.Add()
    'Second row in the @My_Table table
    userTable.Code = "A2"
    userTable.Name = "A.2"
    userTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_1stF").Value = "Second row value"
    userTable.Add()
    This way I have added 2 lines in my table.
    Hope it helps
    Trinidad.

  • Unable to load data into Planning cube

    Hi,
    I am trying to load data into a planning cube using a DTP.
    But the system throws a message saying that, real time data loading cannot be performed to the planning cube.
    What would be the possible reason for the same?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Surjit P

    Hi Surjit,
    To load data into cube using DTP, it should be put in loading mode only.
    The real time cube behaviour is set to planning mode only when the data is input to the cube via the planning layouts / or through the Fileupload program.
    You can change the behaviour of the cube in RSA1 -> Right click on the cube -> Change Real-time load behaviour and select the first option(real time cube can be loaded with data; planning not allowed)
    Best Rgds
    Shyam

    Are you sure that you haven't got Planning 11.1.2.3.500 in your environment? This sounds spookily similar to the issue described in note 1678759.1 which was seen after applying Planning 11.1.2.3.500. If it's definitely Planning 11.1.2.3.500 is there any chance that someone has applied ODI patch 18687916 to the ODI home (C:\Oracle\Middleware\odi)?
    If you /*are*/ running Planning 11.1.2.3.500 then you might need to apply patch 18687916 to C:\Oracle\Middleware\odi - you might need note 1683307.1 to take some of the pain out of applying this patch though.
    Given the error that you're seeing though there's a mismatch in versions of JAR files between ODI and the Planning server somewhere.
    Regards
    Craig

  • Using Import Man to load Data into Multi Value Fileds in a Qualified Table

    Hi there,
    When using the Import Manager, i can not use the "append" option to load data into my multi value field which is contained within my qualified table.
    Manually it works fine on Data manager, so the field has been set up correctly. Only problem is appending the data during Import Manager Load.
    Any reason why I do not have this option available during Field mapping in Import Manager. The selection options are shown but in gray.
    Would appreciate any sugestions.

    Thanks Sowseel
    Its a good document but doesn't address my problem, maybe My problem isn't clear.
    The structure(part of) that I have currently is as follows.
    Main Table - Material
                           QFTable-  MNF PN
                               LUField - MNF Name(Qualifier Single Value)
                               LUField  - BU ID  (Non Qualifier Multi Value)
                               TField   - P/N- (Non Qualifier)
    I know how to load data to the main and qualified tables, but what I can not do, using Import Manger, is updating the  "LUField  - BU ID  (Non Qualifier Multi Value)" using the append functionality.
    Thanks
