Please, get me out of this hell (NetBeans error)
Hello all. I'm just done with a 3 month proyect, and I just lost it all.
I'm so worried about what I have done, please let me explain clearly so maybe someone can help me.
So I had finished my proyect in NB, and I decided to change the default name of some variables of a jFrame class. As you know, NB allows you to do it easily by right clicking on the component and selecting "change variable name".
Once I was done with that, I noticed that it did not automatically update all concurrences in the source code, so I had to manually change it, which of course I did not.
So basically, I deleted this jFrame class from my proyect because I thought I had the original source code anyway, so I could copy-paste it in a new jFrame class and all would be solved.
I was so fool ! I cannot create a new jFrame class in NB and copy-paste the source code of the original jFrame class (the one that had the default names for the variables) to the new jFrame class because it does not replace the initComponents() method which is in 'gray' and cannot be manually modified !! you know what I mean right ?
So the only possible solution that I see is to redone all GUI from scratch.

I've done that and I cannot compile the file because of missing libriaries ( ex. org.netbeans.lib.awtextra )Great, so you've actually created dependencies upon your IDE in your application?
Anyway, this won't affect the "cut'n'paste-to-a-file & copy into project" solution. If it does you're setting your file up incorrectly within the project. You'll have to find a NetBeans expert to help you with that.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

My iPod touch is in recovery mode, how do I get it out of this?
My daughter's iPod touch is in recovery mode (we know this by the code it gives us when she plugs it in to the computer), how do we get it out of this? We have tried resetting by holding down the on/off button and the other button on the bottom front of the iPod for 30 seconds to a minute and nothing happens.
Two ways to get the iPod Touch out of recovery mode.
From iTunes click "Restore" this will download the latest iOS for your iPod Touch and install it.
Second way is to press and hold both the home button and the sleep button for around ten seconds and release them when the Apple logo shows on the screen. -

hey,i forgot my login password,so i changed the password by using terminal command(reset password).now i have new user name with new password,

resetpassword wouldn't have done it. If you managed to create a new user, then your data is still in the old account. -
I had got my iphone 3gs from the US in april and it was purchased without contract from AT&T. When i got it here in India I jail broke it using Spirit. There was a dead pixel in my phone and hence i had to send it back to US for replacement. Before sending it I restored it back to factory settings. Now my current phone config is given below

Your solution is that you need to purchase another iPhone from a country like the UK that sells unlocked iPhones to get the phone to work in India. You can't do this online, so it would mean purchasing one next time you visit the UK, or getting a friend who is visiting the UK to purchase an unlocked iPhone from the Apple store.
I suppose it is too late to send your other iPhone back to the States and get a refund? If so, you are stuck with a non functioning and very expensive paper weight! -
When I'm composing emails a dialog box keeps popping up asking me to click "resend" to reload my email. If I don't I get timed out. This problem has only happened after I installed update 3.6.16

Is it possible to get my iPhone 5c out of recovery mode?
If the iPhone is in recovery mode simply due to a software issue (ie: a failed iOS update), it's very easy to get it out of recovery mode. It just needs to be restored.
If the owner is selling it and the only problem he/she mentions is that it's in recovery mode, it's very likely there are some other issues also. It could have a hardware problem that the owner is not revealing or is unaware of. It may also have been jailbroken and this can permanently brick the phone.
Best not purchase it as the odds of you ending up with a very colorful paperweight are high.

My IPad is stuck on Verifying. I'm on the Settings page and there is a box that says Account not Verified. At the bottom is something in red asking me if I want Delete Account? It's been stuck for an hour. I tried turning my IPad off, but when I go back on and into Settings it's still there. Does anyone know how to get out of this? Thank you.

The toolkit wouldn't show up in your installed programs list as it is more like a plugin to LabVIEW. Instead, pull up NI License Manager and go to Local Licenses > LabVIEW XXXX > Toolkits and see if it is listed amongst the toolkits you have installed. There should be a geen box next to it to indicate that it has been installed and activated.

I have bought new macbook pro 13.3" i5 2.5 dual core. I was working fine but suddenly when i restarted my macbook after a shutdown its screen started blinking or scattering type. But before shutdown it was working very fine, dont know what happened to it. Please help me out.

When I have documents open and I walk away for a few minutes, when I come back and resume working, my computer freezes up and the little pinwheel starts spinning. I literally have to unplug it to get out of this frozen state. This has been getting progressively worse over the past three months. I recently took it into the Genius Bar and they could not find anything wrong. They told me to add more memory, which I did. However, the problem persists. Do you know why my computer would freeze up after the screen has had no activity for just a few minutes? My screen saver is set for an hour so I know this is not the problem.
What kind of documents? Office? iWork? Text Edit? What version?
What settings do you have in regards to power saver and/or screen saver?
For these kinds of system glitches I always recommend installing and running Onyx 'Automation'. If that does not work you should reinstall the offending software, if possible.

Time to buy a new iMac! My iMac PowerPC is still functioning well, but it's too slow now - finally time to update.
New iMac will be used primarily for internet, email and iTunes... BUT, I'll be doing a lot of HD video editing utilizing Final Cut Express and photo editing with Aperture. I'll also be using HandBrake from time-to-time. I'll do zero gaming.
I love the real estate a large screen provides, so I'm definitely getting a 27" iMac.
Considering my video editing needs, I'm leaning towards the 2.93GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 because of it's performance and hyper-threading capabilities? Good idea - yes/no?
From what I've read on other forums, many people suggest sticking with the standard 4GB of RAM, and then upgrading from another source (crucial) at a less expensive price. Good idea - yes/no? And, how much total RAM would you recommend for video editing?
Now, the BIG QUESTION:
Do I spring for the SSD? Many consider this a dramatic performance enhancer, but I can't get over the cost. I'm considering getting a SSD for OS/Applications and a 1TB HDD for storing photos/music/videos/etc.. I already own a couple external HDs I could use, too.
The additional $750 for the SSD + 1TB HDD option is right at my breaking point, and I can't decide whether to go SSD, or stick with the standard HDD.
Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to my new iMac, but want to make sure I order the appropriate machine for my needs (as it is a big investment).

I’m not sure anyone wants to talk you out of this because we’re all real curious about the benefit of using the SSD in conjunction with the standard internal hard disk. If it was me, I’d wait for Macworld and others to update their benchmarks. Macworld’s are nice because they include real world applications like Aperture, Photoshop, Handbrake, etc.
I don’t know how much benefit you feel is worth the cost of the SSD. If the system with SSD cost 30% more and gave you a performance benefit of 20%, would you still buy it? I guess if you look at my profile, you can tell I went the route of maxing out the internal disk capacity and memory since a lot of work is done in memory and I can wait awhile for the disks to load programs and data from the internal disk. This talk about SSDs to speed startup times can be misleading. Okay, so I could boot in one-third the time, but I only boot once a week. You see what I mean?
