Please help me load an .flv video that has been embeded onto a web page

Hello there,
I was hoping someone on this forum could please help me with one specific problem that I am having. I would like to embed the a flash player into an html page, and load the video from a service that has the streaming video provided.
This is the context of the situation...
We have created a site that was to be used on a showroom floor (no internet connection) and loaded the .flv videos at the local root level for the site.
Now however, we would like it to be an online site. I have been able to use the flash "jw player"to load videos to play using the shadowbox javascript, but when I try to embed it onto a page and have it play, it isn't working and I am not sure why.
Below is the code that is currently working to load the videos on the local root level.
Might someone have any ideas on what I need to replace to have it load the videos from the streaming service?
I would greatly appreciate any assistance that could be provided. I can also provide a URL if it would help.

Thanks a lot for the reply. However, I am pretty confident that the jw player supports the streaming video option, but as I mentioned that I was able to use it as a popup using the shadowbox javascript before. After doing a bit of investigating on how the videos are hosted, I am using "progressive download" method for these videos.
I think the problem is that the player.swf is hosted on my website server - and the videos are then hosted on the media hosting service. I think that the player needs to be located on the media hosting service, and then embedded onto the page along with where to point to the .flv video. Does that sound right?
If so, the paramater I am using to embed the player as I mentioned in my original post is simply:
<param name="movie" value="player.swf" />
does the "value" then have to change to the http:// address for the video player.swf that would then be hosted on my video hosting service?
Little help?
Please let me know if there is anything I can provide to clarify the issue.

What do you mean by iTunes registering the mp4?
Which iTunes, on iPad, iTunes is a Store and it won't take your .mp4.
On pc, check if it supports the mp4 (there are a number of different mp4 format) you have converted.
Can you import it to computer iTunes?

If you are doing this from your phone (as you mention) then you can use the new iPhoto Photo Journal feature to do this.
Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might consider DropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage.

Does an adobe reader read the Adobe acrobat document that has been downloaded from a web site

I am having trouble opening anything that has been downloaded into a adobe acrobat document . I am wondering if I am suppose to have an Adobe reader to read it and why is it not being read because it is not a supported file type or because the file was damaged sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded. I am not very computer illiterate and don't understand what I need to be able to get a embroidery designed sent to my computer and be able to open it up.?

PDF is the document standard that you are trying to read. If you have Acrobat installed then you can open the pdf with Acrobat to read it.
What error do you get when you try to open the document?

Last night, someone hacked my Skype account. I can still get in through my connected Microsoft Live-account, but I am not able to shut him/her out. I have even tried contacting the hacker via text message, as my account is set up with a british cell phone number now. The hacker has tried to some success to purchase skype credits totalling in the area of 500€. Luckily I try to keep as little as possible on my debit card account, but there has been some activity on my connected credit card. I have deleted what payment info I could from Skype, and Microsoft Live. However, one of my cards (Credit) can not be removed in Skype account settings due to being registered on Live. This is not correct, as I have deleted all card info from my Live account.
Please help me get my account (and money) back.

Fix a video that has been recorded in full zoom?

Is there a way to zoom out during editing or de-pixelate? I must have zoomed in by accident while recording on a tripod. Half the video is fine, half is in full zoom and therefore poo. Is there any way to correct this through editing or something? Or, is the video irreparable like that?

Only way to solve this is to redo the shoot.

New iPad and iTunes that has been consolidated onto an external HD

I have two iMacs. One of them just had a HD crash and burn. I bought it three to four years ago. This was the main computer that I used to play my iTunes music, etc. Surprisingly Apple covered all costs in replacing the HD (...I love Steve Jobs).... Anyways, I now have a computer with a new HD. I did not want to recover data from the old iMac's HD (too expensive to do and anyways, .... I have another iMac that had all email stuff anyway.) Years before it crashed I consolidated all iTunes data to a Lacie external HD. Now I have a new iPad. I am JUST using this newly refurbished HD iMac for the first time back from Simply Computing Mac/Apple store since repair. I would like all my data (or some of it anyway) to be put onto the iPad that i purchased. Here is my question: does an iPad able to get the data that is on the Lacie external HD so I can have my music, videos, etc on the iPad? (Note: I have yet to consolidate the iTunes library again since the nw HD means that I essentially have a new "brain" in my iMac).

When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.

I edited a document on Word that was in word rtf. The document had been in my dropbox folder. When I saved the document it was downloaded to my Firefox downloads (but not to dropbox.) . I want move the file to my dropbox.

Create a new sequence starting higher than your current value (+ cache + a bit for safety if you're busy/paranoid) and then re-point anything using the "wrong" sequence.
You can spend hours of fun trying to "tidy up" already used/allocated numbers but it is risky and IMHO completely pointless. What does it matter - they're just managed unique numbers after all.

I would suggest you read the manual first.
However connect your iPod touch to itunes via usb cord
It should appear in the Left Hand Sidebar ( If this is not showng View > Show Sidebar)
Then your iPod Touch will appear in the sidebar.
Click once on it and on the right hand side select Music from the row of buttons.
Choose your music by Album, Artist, Paylist or Genre
Click Apply
The music should copy to the iPod

Best small format that can play automatically in a web page

I did two videos that I want to play in web pages when the page opens. In m4v format they are 5.8 MB and 15.6 MB. Way too big for connections here. I've tried shrinking to 3gb format, and they are now a little small, but very clear. But when the web page comes up, a message comes up and asks what you want to open it with, then downloads the video in another window.
What is a good small format that plays automatically in the page?

if you highlight the movie in iWeb, and open inspector and go to the QT logo at the far right and click on it you can check "autoplay.

- You can try disabling the camer notification

Hello to who ever can help a hand out. I feel very stressed by this whole problem. I have a documentary movie that has been finished and edited. I only had to add a couple more parts to it to finalize the film. However when i went on my computer today, (last time being last week. Where everything had worked properly) all the video playback is green. it has audio of all the video files, but the video shows up green in the playback and the viewer. Any idea what could have happened. (last week i added a 5 jpegs thats it!)
Please anybody with any suggestions, I would be very greateful.

Lots of folks with similar problems. Do your clips play ok in Quicktime Player ? have you done any updates lately.
