Please, Help me with keeping SESSION persistence
Hi guys,
I run into the problem when I can't pass a Java Bean because session is lost.
What am I doing: First, I start my webserver - tomcat, but DON'T open a browser. Then I start some Agent program in Java which sends a request to Tomcat - URL to JSP page(setAgent.jsp), passing all the parameters (with url.openStream())
This setAgent.jsp creates Java Bean with <jsp:useBean id="sdbean" class=...scope="session"/>, sets all the parameters into the bean.
Then I open my Netscape browser calling another JSP(getAgent.jsp) which wants to access this bean (also with <jsp:useBean.../>, sdbean.getName()) and this bean is empty - no data like brand new bean.
But when I call setAgent.jsp?... directly in the browser and then getAgent.jsp - then that Java Bean is populated.
So I figured that the session is not the same.
How to preserve the session or what is the other approach to pass the data through the web server without opening browser? Or how to retrieve that previous Session? If I simply get Session_ID what can I do with it?

Batch Input Session:
BATCH INPUT SESSION is an intermediate step between internal table
and database table. Data along with the action is stored in session
ie data for screen fields, to which screen it is passed, program
name behind it, and how next screen is processed.
Three processing modes of executing Batch Input Session :-
Run Visibly : You can correct faulty transactions online & work step-by-step through the transactions not yet executed.
Display Errors only : You can correct faulty transactions online. Transactions not yet executed, but without error, run in the background.
Run in Background .
2) What is the alternative to batch input session?
Call transaction.
3) An ABAP program creates a batch input session. We need to submit the program and the batch session in back ground. How to do it?
go to SM36 and create background job by giving
job name,job class and job steps (JOB SCHEDULING) -

This table have following data.

I wanted to get the rate of interest on 8-DEC-2009.
Output will be 8.5 as this given date is in between 8-NOV-2009 and 9-JUN-2010. Could you please help me with proper query?

That sounds like a job for the LAST function:
SELECT MIN (rates) KEEP (DENSE_RANK LAST ORDER BY rt_date) AS eff_rate
FROM rate
WHERE rt_date < 1 + DATE '2009-12-08'
MIN above means that, in case of a tie (that is, 2 or more rows with the exact same latest rt_date) the lowest rates from that latest rt_date will be returned. In rt_date is unique, then it doesn't matter if you use MIN or MAX, but syntax demands that you use some aggregate function there.
I hope this answers your question.
If not, post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) for your sample data, and also post the results you want from that data.
Point out where the statement above is getting the wrong results, and explain, using specific examples, how you get the right results from the given data in those places.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using (e.g., 11.2.0.2.0).

Please help me with simple program
Can someone please write a simple program for me that opens up a webpage in the center of the screen , with a set size, and then asks the user where they would like to click on the screen. Then once the person clicks it asks how many times they would like to click there, and then once they enter the # the program opens up the webpage (in the center at the same spot as before, with the same set size) and automatically clicks on the predesignated spot , and then closes all open internet windows, and keeps doing it for however many times the person chose. The scenario is a car agency which works on importing cars from EUROPE[ITALY, FRANCE, GERMANY] and its main location in EGYPT and have three branches[CAIRO, ALEX and ASWAN].
THE imported cars are first shipped to alex through ships from EUROPE then usually stored in the company stores in ALEX from 5 to 30 days until they are moved to either CAIRO or ASWAN to be sold there.
I want to implement the shipping of all the cars coming from EUROPE to be stored in PLANT ALEX for 5 to 30 days, as i have three types of Purchase Orders 1- Foreign PO (for buying from europe), 2- Local PO (for buying locally from egypt), 3- Service PO (for asking for any service).
Hint: I tried to make a default and displayed plant Alex in the PO but it is not the solution i have a local PO which have a default material group BMW.

There will be 2 possible scenarios,
1. If you consider Alex as plant,
Against the "Foreign PO" receive the material at the Plant Alex ,Keep the stock as many days required there,Then subsequently Create the STO to move the stock to other plants for the storage .
2.If you consider Alex as storage.
Receive the material at Alex storage location & Later do Sloc to Sloc ttransfer posting.

If you look at the first one, you should be able to align quite easily as follows, View>Smart Guides being your friends:
1a) ClickDrag the top flower with the Selection Tool (black arrow) so it is clear of the pointy part;
1b) Click an empty spot on the Artboard to deselect, then ClickDrag the top flower by its bottom Anchor Point (Smart Guides say anchor when you are close enough to grab it) down to snap to the top Anchor Point on the pointy part (Smart Guides say anchor when you are close enough);
1c) Do the same for the boroom flower.
If you look at the third one, to get the triangles and the hexagon sized and aligned precisely, you may, creating them with stroke and no fill:
3a) Click with the Polygon Tool and select a suitable/chosen Radius and 6 Sides, then Object>Transform>Rotate by 30 degrees (or use the Rotate option in the Transform palette), you may Object>Transform>Reset Bounding Box to have it look nicer;
3b) Click with the Polygon Tool and select the same Radius and 3 sides, then deselect and ClickDrag the top Anchor Point to snap to the top Anchor Point of the hexagon;
3c) Object>Transform>Rotate by 180 degrees clicking Copy, deselect, and ClickDrag the bottom Anchor Point to snap to the bottomAnchor Point of the hexagon;
3d) Select all and Ctrl/Cmd+G to Group (for alignment purposes, you will know why if you try without grouping, see below).
To create full symmetry, you may use circles rather than almost circular ellipses; you may:
3d) Click with the Ellipse Tool and select a suitable/chosen Width = height;
3e) Object>Transform>Move a copy vertically by the Height (= Width) twice (or you may Ctrl/Cmd+D to repeat), to get three circles over one another with no gaps;
3f) Select the topmost and bottommost ones and Object>Transform>Rotate a copy by 120 degrees twice, to have all the seven circles precisley touching one another; you may Group them, but it is not necessary.
To have everything aligned, just:
3g) Select everything and click Vertical Align Center and Horizontal Align Center in the Align palette; you may click the pointy group or the circles ojnce more before aligning if you want to keep it in place (that will make it the key object that the other set is aligned to).
These ways may also help you further.

First of all, I live in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Sometimes, I use a VPN to search on the web here. I purchased Toy Story 3 on my MacBook Pro 2011 OS/X - Lion through iTunes. I initially had trouble downloading it which may be due to being on and off the VPN but after a while it finally downloaded and shows up in my iTunes library on my MacBook.
Under my Apple ID account (which is the only Apple ID account I have), I look under purchase history and it shows that I paid for Toy Story which is where I got my Order # from. But if you go to the iTunes Store then to the Quick Links then click on Purchased, under all my Movies, it does NOT show Toy Story 3 as one of my movies.
Now when I go to my iPad (3rd gen.), Toy Story 3 does not show up under purchased movies (all or not on my iPad). It does not show up on my Apple TV as well. If I want to have Toy Story 3 on my iPad or Apple TV, then it says I have to purchase it again.
I have searched for help via Apple support communities but so far none of their solutions have worked for me. I have tried logging off iTunes & App Store on iPad and also shutting down the iPad. I also made sure that under iTunes Preferences>Store that iTunes in the Clouds purchases is checked. Can someone please help me with this? Your consideration is greatly appreciated. I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

I just bought this movie "Godzilla 2014" but it won't show in my Movie Library. I closed my Itunes and put it back on again but still won't show up. I checked my purchased list and it shows that I recently bought the movie but when I checked the itunes store it wants to buy the movie again. Please help me with this right away Apple.

HELP!!!! My Hotmail no longer works with Safari v. 5.0.6 and my Imac Leopard operating system 10.5.8. Please help me with any suggestions on what to do. Thank you. I cannot find any new downloads for Safari that work with Leopard. The newest ones only work with Lion. My Firefox browser still works though but I would rather use Safari and cannot access any e-mails or send any e-mails via Safari. They did change it to Outlook recently, but while not pretty, I can access mine with Safari 4.0 still...
You can also set it up in Mail so you don't need a browser at all if you want. -

OK I have iPod mini 4GB and I have the latest iTunes installed 7.02 or something I don't know anymore.
Anyway a sad iPod icon displayed on my screen a few days ago and I managed to restart it and to put it in a disk mode and then iTunes finally recognized iPod and I clicked on Restore and then Restore and Updated and after a few seconds during the restore process it says:
An iPod 'iPod' couldn't be resoterd. An unknown error occurred (1418).
I am desperate and i don't know what to do.
I read almost everything about this but nothing helped.
Please help me with any kind of solution...I did a Support Search for that error number and this is what I got. I hope one of these links helps:

If you have a pc, when you plug your iPad in you should see the windows pop up window offering to backup the photos. Do that and it will save all your photos and videos to your computer where you can then sync them back to your new one.
If the pop up doesn't come up, double click on my computer and navigate your way to the iPad. Double cick on it an d navigate to the DCIM folder. Drag your photos and videos to your pc, then sync them back onto your iPad.

I'm getting the message that my MacBook Pro has run out of application memory?
