PLEASE HELP ME! With retrieving pics emptied from trash. Silly me thought wrong thinking iPhoto operates like iTunes with backing up automatically when adding to your library. Lost 6000 pics :( how do I get them back? Should I go to an Apple store?
Can anyone please help me? I haven't the slightest clue on how I would undo emptying my trash with a Mac laptop. I have been told that even though you've emptied your trash, it's never really emptied it can always be found hidden somewhere! I'm hoping that is true. I lost over 6000 photos and videos dating back 8 years :( and to think I was finally organizing them all to back up on an external hard drive lol. Any suggestions much appreciated :)
Well you must stop using the Mac if you want to have any hope of recovering any of them.

If you originally downloaded iPhoto, iMovie, and GB from the App Store, you can re download the apps for free using the same Apple ID.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install. -
I just upgraded from Logic pro 9 to Logic Pro X on my computer, but all my EXS24 libraries are missing all of a sudden. How do i Get them back???
I have checked both the resource folders, and made backups from Logic pro 9, but its not recognizing them, or saying that they're missing a bunch of samples.

Everything should be on your computer.
You should be syncing contacts and calendars with your comptuer regularly.
You should be transferring all itunes purchases to your computer regularly.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly.
Most especially before any update.

They're not lost, they simply don't show because you settings ask it not to.

I can find all of my add-ons when I click on the Firefox icon on the upper left of my screen and click on add-ons, but they no longer appear on my toolbar where I can click on them and use them with the file I'm working in. They are useless to me now. I disabled the AOL toolbar for one session and the add-ons didn't show up. When I click on the edit buttion on the AOL toolbar, I don't see where I can add the Firefox add-ons. How can I get them back onto my toolbar?

I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

Since installing Ios7 280 music tunes out of a total of 360 will now only play when I'm within range of WiFi. The remainder now appear with the stupid Icloud logo beside them. How can I get them back on my Iphone 4s and scrap this stupid icloud that I did not want or ask for in the first place. Why can't rotten apple ask if you want the dam icloud rather than just stealing everything without permission and then you can only have access to it through wifi.

What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
