Please help! - Trying to back up projects on tape

I’ve decided to back up all my projects to Video. I am having trouble doing this. I tried Print to Video. This action takes up a lot of hard drive space for some reason. Can somebody how to back up to tape.

Yes, I'm backing up my sequences to tape. I'm doing this because my 250gig internal hard drive is about filled.
When I try to do this I a box comes up that says writing Video 1%...5%....20%...etc. Then it will say Error not enough space on Hard Drive.
True I have less then 20gigs available right now on the hard drive but I would think that printing to tape should not take any space.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

Although it's a better bet with a 2330 than a 2349, I'd try running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Cant connect with a PC please help trying to do Christmas CHAT.

Mac is set up with ISIGHT/ICHAT
PC is set up with LOGICTECH Quickcam Fusion/AOL Instant messenger.
So we can text message and we can even do an audio chat. But when it comes to Video it does not go through. When I(the mac) invite the PC, the PC sees the invitation and will accept. My window will even say that it has started the video chat but I cant see them, only myself.
When they invite me I never get the invitation and they just sit on there side.
They are in a hotel...could this be a factor with some firewall.
Any ideas. Please help. We are trying to set this up to video chat with my father for Christmas. four days to go.

Ok Networking basics 101
DHCP. Dynamic hosting by a networking device.
This can be the ISP server, your modem or a router if you have one as well. As both Macs and PCs can "Share this internet Connection" then technically then can be (do this) as well.
Lets presume that you have just a modem and your computer.
Lets presume you Mac is in default settings where it expects to use - or have sent to it - an IP from a DHCP server.
You can look this up on a Mac.
Go to System Preferences > Network.
In the second drop down select the connection method you are using to the modem (built in Ethernet or Airport for wireless).
Then click on the TCP/IP tab.
This should have a drop down that will confirm it is "Using DHCP"
This will mean that it is.
The type of IP shown under that will say if the modem is in bridge mode (by showing a Public IP) or a local private IP.
How to tell ?
Local devices start with certain numbers
192.168.xxx.xxx
10.xxx.xxx.xxx
172.16.xxx.xxx - 172.32.xxx.xxx
Further down the same info screen is the DNS server info if added
And the "router" IP.
This "Router" IP is the IP of the modem if it fits in to one of those three groups above.
If it shows the same number at the top spot as when you go here then the device is in Bridge mode and it is allowing the ISP issued IP to come through to your computer.
Tell us the info you see in this part of System preferences.

The "ROUTER" IP if in a Local number as shown above is likely to be the default for accessing it's set up pages in a web browser.
A Linksys modem is likely to be 192.168.1.1
A Netgear is likely to be 192.168.0.1
This page is likely to be helpful if you device is listed.
IF it is click on it.
On the next page click on iChat.
This will tell you the defaults (if they have not been changed) to use.
It will go on to ell you how to set Port Forwarding.
DO NOT DO THAT AT THIS STAGE.
Tell us what you can find out.
Is there anything in the Port Forward settings ?
Does the device have UPnP in any of the menus ? and is it Enabled ?
Does it have Port Triggering as an option and is anything set there ?

Back on the Mac go to System Preferences > Sharing
In here you will find the Firewall tab.
Click on It.
Does it say it is on ?
In the list are the Presets which may have ticks next to them (Even if the Firewall is Off) due to thinks set in the Services tab.
There is no Preset for the iChat login port, the AV ports or the Jabber ports. (there is a hangover preset from panther for Bonjour but the ports are on the wrong protocol and it misses one)
If the Firewall is On and you have not set the ports then you will need to.

Re NAT.
NAT is Network Address Translation.
It is the way your modem tells what data goes to which IP that is in use on the LAN it is controlling if it is the DHCP server. (it can also do it if you are Static i.e. No DHCP server and Manually given IPs).
Some devices like an Apple Airport Base Station NAT all data and do not require you to point it anywhere.
Most devices require that you point the data in some sort of way.
Port Forwarding is the oldest and most common.
This requires that you state which port the data should arrive on from the ISP side and which port is should go to on the LAN side listing an IP do go as well.
Generally this means that a port (say 5190 for iChat) can only be open for one IP (hopefully your computer).
Port Triggering also uses NAT.
DMZ (Demiltarised Zone) is an extreme form of Port Forwading that opens all the ports to one IP address but still uses NAT.
UPnP (Universal Plug and Play does not use NAT.

PLEASE HELP ME ...Final Project ... How to fill a Listbox on runtime

Can anyone help out ? Does anyone knows how to fill up a listbox on runtime ...like when you click on refresh F5 on the web browser is there any event called up? when you use a SessionBean binding the listbox to a variable,thats only god for initialization, what can i do to refresh the listbox and keep it up to date?

I believe that you will have to populate the listbox option values by your java prog. You can include a "refresh" button/event to help you achieve this.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Will Not Install PLEASE HELP TRIED EVERYTHING

I downloaded from Adobe the Photoshop CS3 Extended Trial directly from Adobe. (BTW I am on Vista 32)
The first time I tried installing, ADBEPHSPCS3_WWE.exe successfully unpacked, I successfully transitioned to the Adobe Photoshop CS3 installation, and it appeared to install. After 30 minutes or so, the installer finished and simply said that shared components had installed but the Photoshop CS3 Component install failed.
I always got in the log Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC,version="8.0.50727.163",type="win32",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18 e3b",processorArchitecture="x86"'. Please refer to Help and Support for more information
This, I know, is everyones typical problem.
I turned off firewall and antivirus.
I uninstalled ALL Adobe and Macromedia programs, including Flash and Acrobat.
I used Windows Install Cleanup Utility to remove them.
I downloaded the CS3 Clear from Adobe and cleared at levels 1, 2, and 3.
I created the Administrator account on my computer and tried everything on the Administrator account.
I tried installing Photoshop CS3 with compatibility mode for XP SP2.
I tried:
1. Open an Administrator command prompt by right clicking on Start -> All
Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt and selecting "Run as
Administrator" and clicking "Allow" for the elevation prompt
2. In the command prompt, type the command below
fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\
3. Reboot the machine
I tried:
Get command prompt up. It has to be run with admin rights so save yourself some time and run it this way.........Start/programs/accessories/.....right click command prompt and click run as administrator.
Then paste these commands in 1 after the other
regsvr32 vbscript.dll (THEN PRESS ENTER)
and
regsvr32 jscript.dll (AGAIN PRESS ENTER)
I even tried installing in Safe Mode but the CS3 setup would not initialize.
I do not know what else to do. I have CS2 which I will use, but I was really hoping to move to CS3 which is supposed to be better and faster. Does anyone know anything else to do? I am not a computer noob but I am not about to reinstall Vista. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

I was in the same predicament and after spend many hours over several days trying a multitude of things I finally found an easy fix (below):

Assuming you have Internet Explorer 7 go to:
Tools/Internet option/Advanced
Click the Reset dialog box. This will bring IE7 back to its default settings. You should reboot your computer. After logging back into Windows load IE and let it take you though its initial setup. When you are done close IE and install Photoshop.. This worked for me,,, hopefully it will work for you!

I am a student. I've been trying to install and use Visual Studio 2013 Professional for three weeks now and I cannot get it to work. I am now two weeks behind in my Visual Basic class. I've installed, uninstalled, ran the repair option...
I've tried everything I know how to do. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with Microsoft, was transferred four times and finally told I will have to use the forums to find an answer. I'm almost completely out of patience with this.

Urgent please - help trying to diagnose an issue?

I've been burning DVDs for 7 years now and I've run into an issue I can't quite diagnose (and one I've NEVER experienced).
In short, I've had 4 clients in the last month come back because their discs were skipping at alternate points.
I'll describe what I use and what's happening.
I transfer video tapes (VHS, camcorder etc..) to DVD for clients - no issues there
I edit in FCP, export a .mov (non-self-contained) then take that file and use Bitvice to create the m2vs (sorry...I don't use compressor b/c it's terrible at
using all 4 cores whereas BV does it automatically).
create my DVD build in DVD SP with the templates I created a long time ago
burn using Toast Titanium 10 - usually at full DVD 8x's speed.
I use Maxell DVD-Rs - the same brand I've used for years...no problems. Also I've used discs from different carousels over the last month so I don't think it's a bad batch of discs. These discs have been flawless for me.
For the last client, I made 3 box sets of 3 discs each. Only 1 box set - ALL 3 discs, had skipping issues. The other 2 complete sets are fine. I have 2 burners in my 2009 Mac Pro.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why discs are skipping. I've been verifying each burn in Toast with no apparent issues.
She's returning the skipping box set for me so I can somehow analyze what's going on.
At first, I thought maybe my bitrate was too high - max of 5.8 + the audio - so it should be fine) BUT, if my BR was the issue, why won't the other discs skip?
Maybe it's my burners? Maybe a sign of skipping discs is a DVD burner showing signs of a fail?
ANY help would be so grateful b/c it's the Christmas rush and I'm about to burn 12 discs x 2 for another client. The builds are ready, but I'm scared to start burning.
It's one thing to fix an issue for a client, but for a brand new client, it's far from professional to have skipping discs.
I'd buy new burners in a heartbeat if I knew they were the issue.

Hi Keebler - sorry to hear you're having probs.
There are lots of reasons why discs skip - bitrate is just one. Did you use AC3 audio? Are there any other files on the disc besides the VIDEO_TS folder?
When you get the discs back, check the surface very carefully, and try them in lots of different players too - you may find it is a player issue, not a disc issue. Remember, you are burning DVDs and for the most part they will work almost everywhere, but it is not 100% guaranteed. Only a DVD-Video disc, professionally replicated and produced is able to boast 100% compatibility with the spec... and even then there are some players where they don't work too well!
Have you added labels or anything like that (I sincerely hope not...)?
Did you leave 'Lossless Linking' checked when building? You should do so if you are not making a master for replication, but just making a file for Toast.
Have you tried burning from within DVDSP? Toast is very very good, but it does allow you to push the boundaries a little. For example, many times DVDSP has complained to me about disc capacity, but Toast never does. It'll let you burn just that little bit more, and this might be a problem in some players.
Did you leave the AUDIO_TS folder in place? Strictly speaking it isn't required but the DVD Spec says it ought to be there, and some players will check for it, I believe. It is always empty when making a video based DVD - it is there because audio DVDs are also part of the spec and would use this folder.
Are you certain your media is good? Have you tried any other brand?
Have you cleaned your burner recently? I don't think this will be the issue as it would probably fail to burn if it was dirty... but you never know!
FWIW I know Bitvice is very good, and often recommend it, but have you tried Compressor recently? I know it doesn't use all the cores, but it is much better than it used to be. You should have a look at the latest version.
Finally, have you spoken to the guys at Bitvice? It is unusual for there to be a problem, but if there is an issue with encoding they will know how to fix it and are able to give you the best advice. You might find a call to them saves you time and effort and keeps you sane! Roger Andersson is very knowledgeable and I find him great at supporting his product.

Please help-Trying to compress to Mpeg-2 for Convention, also resizing issues

I just recently finished making an AMV in Adobe Premiere 5.5, and I am having trouble trying to figure out how to compress it into an Mpeg-2 source for a competition/convention.
I also have these massive black borders on the side of my video that I know is probably due to improper resizing on my part, and although I have tried to remedy this with a new avisynth script of the exported uncompressed AVI (before compressing to MPEG-2), whenever I try to run the avisynth script in either VirtualDubMod or TMPGEnc (the converting program recommended by: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/mpegforcons/) it crashes, although the original video does work.
This is the avisynth script I have created for the post-video:

I do not know if the resizing I have set up in the new avisynth script will fix my resizing issues, and I would like to improve that as much as possible, so if someone could clarify for me, that would be greatly appreciated.
You may also notice some audio issues throughout the video, however on further playback this never appears to happen in the same place. I believe this is caused by poor audio quality, and I have a friend of mine working on setting up a lossless source that I will try to recompress with the video before friday, however if someone else might know what is causing this, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the current MPEG-2 I have, however for obvious reasons, I do not consider it acceptable as of yet:

The original export from Premiere is Microsoft AVI Uncompressed, and then attempted to convert to MPEG-2 (I tried multiple settings, they all have the same sizing issues), and as I said before, no matter what I try to do with the avisynth script, it crashes.
I have even tried taking out every line from the new avisynth script except for the first two detailing the location of the video and audio, however this does nothing, it still crashes.
I had to convert all my original source avisynth scripts to AVI files (that are massive, as I am editing from 52 episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), and so editing the original scripts is impossible at this point, because to my knowledge, that would mean I would have to reconvert them all to AVI, which took over 16 hours, and then that would probably make me have to re-edit this entire video (which if you look at it, based on length and how much work I've put into it: is impossible, especially given the time constraints).
So anything that I can do to fix this will have to be done to the export from Premiere, unless there is a way to work with the AVI's that I made from the avisynth scripts.
The source is primarily 16:9 DVD (Fullmetal Alchemist) and very few parts from a 4:3 DVD (Naruto). (You can recognize these parts in the video, it is whenever someone is rowing in a boat during the lyrics "Row Row")

Those "black borders," if they are visible in the Program Monitor, are most likely due to a mis-match between the Source Files and the Sequence Preset.
If they are only showing up upon Export, then there is likely a mis-match between your Sequence and your Export, and could be either with the Aspect Ratio, or if using non-square pixels, the PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio).
I'll defer any commens on AVISynth to the experts here.

I have been an iTunes user some years ago - and now want to go back, but I have questions and trouble. Please assist...
Since iTunes could not handle my growing library (then 50.000, now 100.000 tracks) on my old computer (tragically slow...) I migrated my whole library to MediaMonkey. I felt like in heaven. What a much more flexible database that is, with LOTS of pleasant editing and grouping options.
But now, after a few years MediaMonkey the heaven became ****: it keeps messing up my library data, merges parts of tracks from different songs, attaches wrong art work to songs etc. etc.
Conclusion: iTunes is much more rigid and edit-unfriendly, but also more reliable and stable. And the newer version works faster with big libraries.
So today I took the final step to start going back to iTunes, version 11.0.1.12 now.
I experience the following problems:
1. Around 8.000 of my MediaMonkey (MM) tracks have not been imported. Why not?
2. Most of the MM comments do not appear in the IT comment fields. Why not? Where are they? Why can some be imported, others not? Can I redo it, maybe with the help of MP3Tag, that I came across in the past?
3. A few hundred (maybe more) tracks have a ! on the left of the title, meaning that the corresponding file can not be found. Why not? If I try to locate it manually it is always there (with the 10 tracks I 'relocated' so far). So why can't IT find them?
4.As I remember IT had a song/track list view with a separate sqaure window in the left hand bottom corner of the cover art of the playing song . But I cannot find how I can get that back. Now I only see a thumbnail in the top player, on the left of the playing title. Or is my memory wrong, did only MM have such 'cover art window'? If IT has such window as well, how to re-create it?
5. Does iTunes STILL have no proper option to store 'multiple artists or genres' in one field? In MM I could store a certain duet as 'Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli' - using the comma as a separator between two individual artists. Same as with genres: 'classical, instrumental, romantic'. But in spite of popular requests IT still seems to 'merge' such combinations as one artist (called 'Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli') etc. Am I correct? Any hope for improvement at this point?
6. Is there a way to view the number of tracks in the total library? Or the number of selected items?
7. Any hopes that multi-track-editing will be made possible soon? So that I do not have to add 'The Messiah' in the front of each individual track title of that work?
8. Do iTunes developers publish anywhere there plans for future enhancements? So that customers can see what is in the pipeline?

Please help, trying to Batch Capture in CS4

I am very new at this and I have been looking at the help guide for hours to no avail. I am trying to batch capture from a Mini DV camcorder, I logged all of the clips and batch captured them, but once it is finished all of the files say Media Offline in both preview screens and the status when I scroll over is Capture Failed, even though it says it is finished. I don't know what else to do. Am I doing something wrong?

User did Not respond issues!! Please help, tried everything...

I'm having some problems with the whole Audio/Video chat option on Ichat. I'm trying to connect to my girlfriend who also is running on Mac. When we try to connect, it says, "USER NAME, did not respond".
I've read almost every post on this thing, and seems that the solutions either don't work, or are specific to router/modem setups.
Now, just as a test to ensure it is from my end, I got my mom... who has an new Intel Imac to connect to my girlfriend, and their video sessions worked fine... so something is wrong with my end for sure.
I have 2 macs, an Imac and a Macbook pro, and they both experience the same problems, they are running on an Airport Extreme, and our service is through Bell Sympatico, which is a DSL service. I am using a Speed Stream 5200 modem.
Now both computers are running wirelessly, and I've tried different things like only having one computer connected... hardwiring the computer and even connecting one of the computers directly to the modem... all configurations didn't work. I've also turned off any firewall settings, and unchecked the Distribute IP address option in my airport.
Personally I believe there is an issue with my ISP or modem, and not sure where to go from here.

I'm sure you will find an answer because all problems are directed towards narrowing down the possible problem and direct you forward to your best way to address your configuration in a way that has the biggest change of successfuley solving your problem. Some peers have been thinking in a very analitical way and almost build a verbal software support applet
Regarding your trouble. You ran your Ichat behind a router and used the book Pro to host the iChat traffic. I think you should use the iMac to have the router pointforward to as first terminal to regulate iChat traffic. You can use bonjour to have your bookpro chat with the outside world as a network computer using the imac as ichat traffic controller. I noticed you run games on your bookpro . The output you pasted in your reply indicates that your Probook will get in trouble since the code for Xvid is meant for your iMac and your probook needs the universal version.
QuickTime/XviD_Codec-r58 (ppc).component/Contents/MacOS/XviD.
IT should be: QuickTime/XviD_Codec-r58 (intel).component/Contents/MacOS/XviD. (not available yet but comming very soon)
This might cause trouble that destabilises your computer set up and indicates the iMac is the one that is first in line to iChat and your pro is not able.
Any way you might wonder, what is all this and why this hassle? Basicaly it is something that happened years ago when OSX 10.3.9 was updated to xcode and a simple routine was replaeced by a newer and importand for future addressing compatibility of account/password/id in the future. Apple changed its policy of two account/password/id per user into one. Remember the two different passwords long ago? Well a smart move but badly implented because a lot of developers had the old routine implemented in their personal lybraries and toolkits and did not take notice to replace the old string by the new one wich was paramount to x10.4 account/pas/id addressing. This problem first came to light in mail, there were very strange and inconsistent account and ip malfunctions which where unexplainable at the time. IT took an enormous effort to get a work arround this problem. Especially since it was not analised to the bit. Anyway, this is the cause of suddendeath of iChat inititiation a/v functionality and the did not respond issue. The information to make the connection is inconsistend to the hard/software of the wireless functionality. AIM is also to blame. They chose the easy way out and get the bill now.
There are some more (not so relevant) issues as time will solve them (quicktime codec h264).
So please read the new discussionboard trouble shooting pages and i am pretty sure you'll be iChatting (2 way only for now) withing no time thanks to the men who had the patience to allow Apple some time for a fix and kept peers iChatting all over the world with almost individual counseling.

Updated feed problem, PLEASE help, tried everything....

Ive seen this same issue here in forums with no solution:
Service Provider hosting my old feed was going down in a month...
I placed the correct update tag in my feed to point to the new feed....
1 month went by, the server went down...
my new feed is valid at feedvalidator.org...

Possibility again that if iTunes didn't grab the feed with the <Itunes:new-feed-url> tag, it never updated its database.
It's tricky with your existing subscribers. Theoretically, if they subscribed before the old server went down, they should have received a copy of the new XML which would include the new feed url and their iTunes client would have updated itself to point to the new feed...granted they started up iTunes before the old server went down.
If they subscribed after the server went down, (i.e today), they won't get any episodes (it's still pointing to the old server).
You only have really two options to fix iTunes to point at the correct URL:
1) See if you can get access to the old server again at the old URL, put a copy of your new feed there which includes the <itunes:new-feed-url> tag. Then ping iTunes...sit back and wait until you can verify that iTunes changed the url it has in its database to the new one. You can subscribe to the feed and check the "show description" or continue to ping iTunes until it shows the correct URL in the "podcast ping received" results.
2) Remove the podcast and re-submit. Click the "report a concern" button for your feed in iTunes and choose the option to remove the podcast. Then re-submit.
Itunes provides no real way of knowing how many subscribers you have nor does it keep a list of subscribers. They are just playing matchmaker...just providing a list of podcasts and allowing people to subscribe to the URL you have listed. Once they have subscribed, they don't go back to the iTunes directory...they go straight to your URL.
Some podcast services like "Feedburner" can keep track of metrics and can give you data on subscribers and episodes downloaded.

Please help: trying to install Oracle 8.1.6.0 on Mandrake 8.1

Hi, I am trying to install Oracle8i that comes with "Oracle for Linux Starter Kit" on Mandrake 8.1. Could someone please give tips or pointer how i can accomplish this? The Universal Installer starts fine, but then a dialog pops up about compiling sqlplus. here is a piece from the log file:

I had the same problem with Oracle 9i on Mandrake 8.1. I am not sure if the same fix will work or not. See my 9i on 8.1 notes at:

You will get a link error after all of the copying and unpacking has been done somewhere in disk 3. Leave the error message up on the screen and go edit the $ORACLE_HOME/bin/genclntsh script. Blank out the LD_SELF_CONTAINED env var. Save and execute the script. Hit the retry button on the installer. The alternative approach to this involves downgrading the binutils but that seemed to get awfully messy to me. (thanks to a post from Helmut Seruega for this fix)

Please help - trying to use remote desk top

Let's see if I can explain this correctly...
I am on a PowerBook G4 in California and my mom is on her brand new MacBookPro in Ohio.
I bought the Apple Remote Desktop and installed it on my computer so I could log on and control hers in Ohio so I can teach her to use her new computer.
I followed all directions, all her preferences and and authorizations are checked on her computer, and spoke with Apple tech support, etc. and here is the problem:
Her husband's son (who THINKS he is some kind of computer wiz) hacked together an internet connection at her house that goes like this - Speedstream motem to Netgear FVS318 to another Netgear FVS318 to an Airport. Why he did it this way??? Your guess is as good as mine...
From what I understand, I need to Port Map (?) and the Netgear routers are blocking me from remotly connecting with her computer (?). I have her public IP address and her private IP address...How do I get around these Netgear things????

Oh, and plugging the Airport directly into the motem is not an option. I believe this is because The Wiz Kid has somehow enabled her husband to connect wirlessly to his printer with an IMac (that would be one of those blue ones from a million years ago that won't even burn a disk..you know the one? That is if you can remember back that far)...

Well, you can't "get around them", per se. In each of them, the ports used for ARD will have to be open, and then eventually forwarded to the internal IP address for your mom's MacBook Pro. Given the (probably unnecessary) complexity of the setup at her house, that's going to be a bit difficult, and very probably not something you can do remotely.
The ports that ARD uses must be open in each of the routers between the modem and her computer (as well as in any router on your end). ARD uses ports 3293 and 5900 so those must be open. The ports also need to be forwarded in the Airport (if she's using the MBP wirelessly) to the MBP's internal IP address. Someone will have to connect into each router's admininstration function to set up those ports; I'm guessing that you won't be able gain such access remotely, though it's possible.
It's a complex situation, so it may take some tinkering to get it work, something that's probably going to be difficult from your end. With luck, her husband's son knows enough about what he's doing to be able to help. Anything he can do to simplify the network configuration will be of benefit.
