Please this is an urgent question !!!

Question

hi ,
I'm trying to serialize let's say a pig part of a gui application
but but when I make the target class serializable and try to save it to hard disk it just found a reference in the class that points to a non serialized Class and then I move to this class and make it serilizable
and it just blocks and throws Exception on another reference
the question is
is there any way to make the whole chain of objects serializable and save it to hard disk
I will appreciate any help

They all need to implement Serializable.
If you have a reference to something and you want that something to serialize as part of the object graph then make it implement Serializable. If you don't want it to serialize then declare the reference transient. E.g.:
public class MyGuiComponent extends JPanel implements Serializable{
  private MyGuiComponent sibling; // will serialize as well
  private transient MyUnserializableComponent child; // will not serialize
// ...
