HI Gurus,
Yesterday i got clarified some doubts on my clients mapping.
I want somebody to explain even in detail please.Its is urgent.
My Client is Pharmaceutical company with H.O. inmumbai.They ditribute the drugs through thier C&F(Carry & Forward) agents to Dealers(Customers).Also company distributes drugs to Institutions like Central Govt bodies,Corporate hospitals in bulk at lesser price than dealers.Company also do exports to Nepal And Srilanka.There are 3 Divisions and 3 plants.
Company will do the consignment at C&F Agent and pay the commission on sold Drugs.Invoice will be processed on Company name not on C&F Agent name.
1Q.How many S.O. & Distribution channels& Sales areas are required?
2Q.How many pricing procedures are required.Mention in detail please?
3Q.Can I treat C&F Agents as Sales office or Storage locations.
4Q.Can you name some Possible Condition Types apart from regular one.?

Ans- 1 sales org,3 distribution channels Direct sales,Indirect sales,Exports,as there are 3 divisions you can have 9 sales areas
2Q.How many pricing procedures are required.Mention in detail please?
Ans-Pricing procedures depends on your requirement,But you should deffanetly use differeent pricing procedure for exports and direct sales are made from depos so you can use different pricing procedures,Totally as per i can sujjest you can use 3 pricing procedures depending on your distribution channels
3Q.Can I treat C&F Agents as Sales office or Storage locations.
Ans- C&F agents are treated as Sales offices,
4Q.Can you name some Possible Condition Types apart from regular one.?

Pls help me.
I am using OWB 10g under Oracle 10g. I want to run OWB Mapping automatically by OEM.
I installed Oracle Database 10g fully but don't have OEM in this. After that, I installed Oracle Client 10g. In this product, there is OEM 10g. I read some topic as "want to run owb mappings thru job schedule" and also read http://otn.oracle.com/products/warehouse/htdocs/oem_scheduling_viewlet_swf.html
But my OEM not as same as in this . It don't have job menu and OEM Console Login window and don't have also where I can put username/pwd to login into OMS???
I don't know this problem.

Hi,
Here are two possible solutions:
1) If you have OEM 9i anywhere in your environment you can use this for scheduling the OWB jobs.
2) If your environment is 10g only you need to install 10g Grid Controll. This product has replaced the OMS / Java console of earlier releases, and contains the same functionality for scheduling jobs.
Note that if you are using the sql_exec_template to execute your mappings you can schedule and run these from any machine on the network, not just the target server.

E72 UAE Map search shows only Arabic, Pls help to ...

I have the issue with Maps, from the time i bot it. I have the map of UAE in my E72, when ever i search any place, the result shows only in Arabic. I need the search reasult in English. My phone language is English. I tried several time reinstallations of maps as well.. Pls somebody help me to make the search result available in English. That will a BIG help!!!

if VBKD-BSTKD_E = 3011192 is like 4 records in excel means for these 4 should be one SO
if it is changed to 3011193 then only different SO.

If u want to add Items data, u have to handle the Table control by writing the complete code.
U have to write code for 2 items, when u press enter u will get new row to enter new record one by one.

Need to update the xml clob-pls pls help!

my xml is stored as blob, i can view,do string manipulation and churn out data etc...but now i have a request where i need to find some particualr node and modify its value.

In June of year 1, new budget prices must be determined for the following year (year 2). The budget prices for year 2 are calculated out of the average contract prices in the first 5 months of year 1 (January May). The average contract price will then (outside the system) be corrected with an index. To calculate new prices for Campina Netherlands, a report is needed to show all materials with current budget price, volumes and contract prices during the first five months of year 1
The purchasing assistant creates an excel file per Material type, based on the Budget pricelist out of SAP.
Purchasers check the file on:
 being correct,
 materials marked for deletion in SAP
 changes to be made in data
The new prices, calculated based ion the output of the SAP Budget pricelist, are sent to controlling in june year 1.
On the 1st of January year 2 the new budget prices are inserted in SAP as the new standard price / budget price.

I reinstalled my computer because it was too slow, and Safary icon has a ? question mark on it in the dock, i pulled it out with the hope that i can bring it back from the application, but the icon could not be found in the application. Pls help me.

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.

Help with mapping the mod_plsql path with Apache

I need help with mapping my pl/SQL Handler path.
Currently i have an URL like this :
http://myhost.com/pls/DADUSER/PLSQLPROC?param1=123
But I need something like :
http://myhost.com/d/PLSQLPROC?param1=123
I tried to rename the "Location Handler" from "pls" to "d", works great, but it always appends my Default DAD User to the URL.
And I tried to map my PL/SQL Handler to "/" and create a DAD User called "d" and set it to default. Didn't worked...
Any help is appreciated....

XI provides 3 standard ways of interface mapping between source and target.

Two more additional mapping types can be activated in XI by making changes to the exchange profile. Those two mappings are
ABAP mapping
XSLT mapping with ABAP Extensions
Graphical Mapping
Graphical mapping is a common approach followed by everyone for generating desired target structure. It involves simple drag-n-drop to correlate respective nodes (fields) from source and target structure. It hardly involves coding. (Exception - User defined functions). But sometimes with graphical mapping it is difficult to produce required output. For example ... text/html output, namespace change, sorting or grouping of records etc.
ABAP Mapping
A person comfortable with Object Oriented ABAP can go for ABAP mapping instead.
Java Mapping
Java Mapping uses 2 types of parsers. DOM and SAX. DOM is easier to use with lots of classes to help you create nodes and elements, but , DOM is very processor intensive.
SAX parser is something that parses your XML one after the other, and so is not processor intensive. But, it is not exaclty easy to develop either.
XSLT Mapping
One can also think of Java mapping as another option but it is a bit complex and required knowledge of Java. In such cases, XSLT mapping can be the best approach to meet the requirements.
A few example cases in which an XSLT mapping can be used:-
When the required output is other than XML like Text, Html or XHTML (html displayed as XML)
When default namespace coming from graphical mapping is not required or is to be changed as per requirements.
When data is to be filtered based on certain fields (considering File as source)
When data is to be sorted based on certain field (considering File as source)
When data is to be grouped based on certain field (considering File as source)\
Advantages of using XSLT mapping
XSLT program itself defines its own target structure.
XSLT programs can be imported into SAP XI. Message mapping step can be avoided. One can directly go for interface mapping once message interfaces are created and mapping is imported.
XSLT provides use of number of standard XPath functions that can replaces graphical mapping involving user defined java functions easily.
File content conversion at receiver side can be avoided in case of text or html output.
Multiple occurrences of node within tree (source XML) can be handled easily.
XSLT can be used in combination with graphical mapping.
Multi-mapping is also possible using xslt.
XSLT can be used with ABAP and JAVA Extensions.
Disadvantages of using XSLT mapping
Resultant XML payload can not be viewed in SXMB_MONI if not in XML format (for service packs < SP14).
Interface mapping testing does not show proper error description. So errors in XSLT programs are difficult to trace in XI but can be easily identified outside XI using browser.
XSLT mapping requires more memory than mapping classes generated in Java.
XSLT program become lengthier as source structure fields grows in numbers.
XSLT program sometimes become complex to meet desired functionality.
Some XSL functions are dependent on version of browser.

Message Mapping -> Graphical Design and testing environment. Default Provided By XI. Queue based modelling allow handling or large documents. Extensible via user defined functions
XSLT Mapping - > Based on openstandard, Portable across application platform, Extensible using user defined functions kewl but disadvantage is Memory overload while handling large documents.
SAX -> Simple Api For XML. -> Allows you to parse through a XML document. Doesn't consume any memory. But the message can be parsed only once from top to bottom. It Has evolved by contributions made by group of ppl itz a open architecture.
DOM -> Document Object Model -> Itz designed by W3C. Consumes Memory as the message will be loaded. Allows parsing of document in both way top down and bottom up.

hi.. I'm new to java .. but i know the very basics of it.. so that i could write a couple of simple programs.. I've been working wit .NET all these days and MSDN library helps me a gr8 deal.. it gives explanation for every class and methods of the class, even explaining the parameters passed into the methods.. I'm currently workin wit J2ME for developing MIDlets... As i know the basics programming isnt very bad.. but where can i find the explanation for the classes used in micro edition or the methods that belong to the classes...
Is there any facility like MSDN library for java where i can find the whole information...?????
