Plug-in Builder not showing up in JDeveloper

Following instructions here: Plug-in Builder
Under the "Installing Plug-in Builder into an Existing JDeveloper Instance" section, I successfully get to Step 7, at which point "EM Plug-in Builder" is not an option on the Preferences page. I've also tried creating a new project per instructions in the next section, but "Enterprise Manager Plug-in" is not an option in the Categories section of the New Gallery window.
System Info
EDK - 12.1.0.3.0
JDeveloper - Studio Edition Version 12.1.2.0.0, Build JDEVADF_12.1.2.0.0_GENERIC_130608.2330.6668
OS - Windows 7 64 bit [Version 6.1.7601]
JDK - 1.7.0_45-b18
The instructions mention using JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 and JDK 1.6, so I suspect version incompatibility may be the problem.

Check the EDK Build Number you are using. The expected build number to be 130913. If it is older you will not see the new options.
     EDK_INSTALL_DIR\bin>empdk -version
     PDK Version: 12.1.0.3.0
     Build Number: 130913
I had Build Number 130621 and was seeing the same symptoms as reported above. After updating to Build 130913, I now see the option(s) to create from a sample Plug-in.

Plug and Play not showing up on desktop - camera, jump drive, etc.

Hi all:
On my Macbook Pro, none of the so-called "plug and play" devices show up on the desktop as they normally would on a Mac computer. I tried my ipod, camera, and usb jump drive. Is there a setting that I could have set on to make it like this??
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Go to Finder>Preferences>General, and you will find some boxes to check so that external devices will show up on the desktop. I'm not sure your camera would show up on the desktop--but it will appear in iPhoto if you want to put your pictures in iPhoto. Your iPod and jump drive will show up for sure.

Itunes Connect, one app, one version, different builds (not showing up)

I rejected my own binary in ITC, fixed bug that i noticed and then reuploaded with a different build and version number, however one the main app page I can only see the old upload. In the testing area I can see the new upload.
My question is, Which version will be reviewed? New or Old.
(Not sure if I am missing a step)

Here's what happened
1) All my Music was stored on a TC 2.0TB WD hard disk which I shared with my partner.
2) All music in iTunes were mapped to this specific location and only this location.
3) When opening the folder on the TC only a fraction of the actual music folders were available to see (i.e. Artist The Wonder Stuff folder was present and in this folder only 2 album folders were found when in fact there should have been 12)
4) All songs in iTunes did play correctly so if i wanted to listen to one of the The Wonder Stuff songs they would all play (even albums that did not show up in the artist folder from above).
5) When clicking show file in finder, the file would show up and then again when going back manually into the folder as above.
6) TC dies on me. No more power.
7) Took out the HDD and put it in a cradle to extract the songs.
8) Right click on the folder shows there are about 35'000 files which sounds right BUT only a fraction of these can be seen.
9) Now I cannot do the show in finder through iTunes as the directory no longer exists (the TC died and I threw it away, except for the HDD).
10) The files are on the HDD but I cannot see but a fraction of them when opening the folder...
I hope this makes it a little more clear.
I honesty do not know what to do as I know the files are there but cannot see them and thus map them in iTunes... :-(

The Facebook Social Plug ins are not showing up in Firefox on my website but are showing up in Internet Explorer? They were working, but "stoppped".

I followed your instructions to the nth degree and, bingo, it was "fixed".
Interesting that I had not uploaded or changed anything prior - I am so careful about that. Something had gone corrupt though.

Can't download plug in for windows media player. Have used download site and it says it worked, but plug in is not showing up on my list of plug ins.

I tried to hear a conference call on a website. Got a message, needed windows media plug in. Checked my plug ins, no windows media. Read tutorial on firefox support. Clicked on download. Got a window that asked for repair or change. Tried repair, then change. Need better directions on how to finish download. Got message download successful, but after closing firefox and reopening, still no plug in for windows media in list of plug ins. Went to site and could not hear conference.
Read support forum. Message about using about:config. Tried this, typed in about: config in start menu, but didn't see anything that looked like I could change to true like message said.
solved by opening internet explorer and going to website and listening to conference call on windows media player. There was a message saying click here if you want to enable media player. Did so, heard conference.
Tried using chrome. Got to hear conference yesterday. Today, there was same message about needing plug in when I tried to follow instructions to get plug in, it was as confusing and useless as firefox. The bottom line is I tried to do everything set forth in firefox's forum suggestions and can't get the windown media plug in to show up in my list of plug ins and can't hear conference calls on firefox.
Chrome did say they were working on getting plug in available at chrome store.
I agree with comments that I was able to go to web sites and hear calls before firefox made an update that removed my windows media plug in. The simple download fix, presumeably from windows, does not work, apparently because firefox can't find the fix. That is not the user's fault, and it looks like windows tried to provide a fix, and firefox won't recognize it.
Bottom line, it is easier to use another browser, than try and get the windows media player plug in installed on firefox. What good is a browser, if you can't hear a call on the website that the browser takes you to? Please make it easy to install the windows media plug in on firefox. Thank you..

Firefox can find plugins in several locations, but Firefox 21 changed the location of the "shared" plugin folder so older installers like the Microsoft Windows Media Plugin no longer drop the DLL file in the correct location.
There apparently are two ways to address this:
(1) Change a Firefox preference so that Firefox checks the old location. Here's how:
(i) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(ii) In the filter box, type or paste '''plugins''' and pause while the list is filtered
(iii) Double-click '''plugins.load_appdir_plugins''' to switch its value from false to true.
This will take effect after you restart Firefox.
(2) Copy the plugins folder to the new location. Here's how on Win 7 64-bit:
Open a Windows Explorer window to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Right-click and copy the '''Plugins''' folder
Double-click the '''browser''' folder to open it
Right-click and paste
Right-click the new copy of '''Plugins''' and rename it to '''plugins'''
After restarting Firefox, the plugins in that folder should now be available.

Plug in options not showing?

Until yesterday I was able to watch live streaming movies through my blockbuster account not it says I need to install plug ins..but nothing is coming up for me to install..usually a bar at the top would pop up and say "allow plugins"...I updated to the newest firefox...why am I having this problem? I can watch on Interent Explorer but would rather go through firefox..

Even I faced the same problem, but got the workarround.
Please go the the below mentioned link and download the zip files.
http://www.oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@otn/documents/webcontent/156082.xml and download the Oracle BPM Studio 11g and Oracle SOA Composite Editor
Now go to your help -> Check for update -> Click on Install from local file and provide the path of the zip file that you downloaded in the previous step.
Finally restart the jdeveloper. Now you can see the BPM suite and SOA suite in your application.

Plugged ipod in, not showing it in iTunes

I plugged my iPod into my laptop, it isnt showing that my iPod "Gabby" is even plugged into the computer. Usually you go to 'devices' the it shows that the device is plugged in. It's not doing that. trying to plug it into Windows

So when you connect the Nano to iTunes, it does not appear under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes?
Is this the first time you are trying to connect the iPod with this PC or has it been able to successfully sync before? If it has successfully synced with this PC before, what has changed since the last it was able to successfully connect?
What happens if you try plugging the iPod into a different USB port. Make sure it's not plugged into a USB hub or a port on the front of the PC (if applicable) as they do not provide enough power to properly communicate with the device.
With the iPod still connected to the PC, try a hard reset. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons (or Select (Center) and Menu buttons if it's a clickwheel model) long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

New build not showing up in iTunes connect

I generated a new build version 1.1. But it doesn't seem to show up in iTunes Connect.

EA2 Query Builder not showing related tables

While using Query Builder with the sample schema(s) I click on the Options->Show Related Tables and never get a response back. I am on a Windows XP machine. After waiting several minutes I just cancel out of Query Builder.

Hi Hema,
First of all you have to make sure that you had given the correct data source in JDBC Connecction.
When the work is in progressand we click on Backspace button then we will get the page as greyed.Make sure that you have to wait for a while after saving the report and never use the Backspace button.

Fish Eye Hemi plug in does not show in filter list of Photoshop 11

I cannot get Image Trends Fish Eye Hemi plug in to appear on the list of plug ins-filters in PSE 11. I used to use it in PSE 10. Does anyone have a solution?

If you already ran the installer, then you can go to
(i don't why the installer doesn't see pse 11)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Image Trends Inc\Hemi 1.0
and copy the three plugins highlighted below to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Plug-Ins

Acrobat Plug-in loading but not showing in menu

I had developed an small plug-in in C++ using Acrobat XI SDK for Adobe Acrobat X pro.
the plugin works 100% in my development machine.
But when I copy the api file into other users computers the plug in does not show in the menubar.
when I generate a system report in Acrobat, the plugin is showing as loaded, but it doesn't show in any menu.
any idea?
someone told me that I need to register a prefix for my plug in, but I cannot find any location to register.

Certainly you need to register a prefix, or you may duplicate the plug-in ID, menu ID, and selector and tool IDs from samples or other plug-ins.
But you can quickly test for this problem by removing all other plug-ins.
Check the "only registered plug-ins" option is off.
I can't advise using the Acrobat XI SDK for making Acrobat X plug-ins. Traditionally, uplevels SDKs will make plug-ins that don't load in older versions of Acrobat.

Plug ins not showing

After migrating from tiger on a powerbook G4 to snow leopard 10.6.7 on 2.93 GHz i7 imac. all my plug ins are not showing in Garageband 11 (Atmosphere, Rmx, trilogie, FM7 etc ...)where should they go? I put some in HD> library> audio> plug-ins> components ... but still none showing when I am in GarageBand.

You need to make sure that they are Universal Binaries, you can't use PPC plug-ins on an Intel machine.
You might need to see if there are updates available from the mfg.

Camera raw plug in not showing up as an option in the file menu the plugin was updated?

I am trying to adjust the white balance using photoshop elements 11, all the information I have come across tells you how to do it using the camera raw plug in. This has been updated and still I do not see it listed when I click on the file menu. I take photos of antique gold lockets using a light house and even though the custom white balance is set on my camera the photos are still coming out too canary yellow. I need to be able to adjust the colors so that they are more antique rose gold looking and have been reading different articles and videos on how other people adjust the colors and would like to try a couple of the ways I have seen but am unable as the camera raw plug in is not showing up as an option. Any suggestions on how I can solve this problem would be most appreciated. I have tried the quick fixes, color and contrast etc and not getting the results I am looking for... Please tell me what to do...

You never see it in the file menu. But if you go to File>Open As in windows you should be able to choose Camera Raw as the format.
On a mac it would be file>Open, choose the file, choose camera raw as the format>Open.
That's assuming these aren't raw files. If it's a raw file, just plain ol' file>Open and selecting a raw file should open the file in the converter.

Lighting effects not showing up in CS5

This plug-in is not showing up on both CS5 and CS 5.1 running on a MAC OSX 10.6.7 Italian system. I have tried both from the Italian versions of PS and even from one new version in English of PS5.1 and it isn't to be found under the menu "rendering" or enywhere else. I see that it is in the plug.in folder and the folder of lighting effects is there as well, but it just doesn't show up. Any ideas about this bug? I've tried it on 3 different computers!

As far as i know, the lighting effects filter only works in the 32 bit version of
photoshop cs5/5.1 on a mac system.

Added: If you have the extended version of cs5, you might experiment using 3d lights
for lighting effects, which works in the 64 bit version of cs5. Turn your layer into a
3d postcard and use the 3d lights for various lighting effects.
