Plz help complete newbie
hi all, I just started learning JAVA 2, I am skipping lots of HTML, cuz it's boring me like crazy. anyway, I have Sams teach yourself java2 in 21 days, and it says I need this program called Java 2 Software Development Kit, Standard Edition, version 1.3 , but I can't find it! I looked in the search, I checked the api section, nothing, and the book says I need this to start off, so plz help me out :) thx in advance. o P.S. can a CGI-bin be made with java2?

Not a flame or troll, but how many people have posted
to this forum with this same problem? Which part of
clicking on the download link are they having
problems with?I took a Java class a little over a year ago and there where several people in the class who couldn't figure out how to open notepad and save a file, and they had absolutley no idea how to do anything with DOS. I mean if you can't understand how to use software how can you expect to be the one to write and design it. Its like a car engineer not knowing how to drive. I'm not trying to flame either, but snafu_uk makes a good point.

If you are running v10..7 Lion, install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
For 10.6 Snow Leopard > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Then restart your Mac. Try the App Store.
If that doesn't help, try the following..
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go
Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try downloading Mountain Lion.
You may also need to disable anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferences > Security (or Security & Privacy) > Firewall -

whan I compile with -deprecation , I found the compiler is giving warning in the reading from keyboard statemant i.e. :

I good power supply is vital, the amount of people I've seen spending £10 on one just because it's 600W is unbelievable. You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes support. Click the Support tab above, then the Get Started link in the Contact Apple Support area and you'll be guided.

Help Needed - complete newbie - WLC 4402
I am trying to set up a basic wireless network, completely seperate from our internal network, just utlizing the external internet bandwidth. It will mainly be used for meeting rooms and visitors requiring internet access.
There should be no need for VLans on the Wireless network.
The External 7204 router is plugged into a 12 port 2950 switch, which has a connection to the external side of our firewall.The ip address of the router is a public address, so if possible I do not want to give the WLC management ip a public address. The WLC will be plugged into the Cisco 2950 switch.
I am a complete newbie at setting up the Cisco wireless. I imagine it is down to routing - do I have to purchase another router or is the WLC capable of doing simplified routing?
Any advice would be greatly apprciated.

Question:in info shows drive capacity is 28 Gb....why not 30 Gb??

The difference in the iPod's disk capacity is due to how computer disk manafacturer's calculate disk space. The actual usable capacity of any computer disk will be about 10% less than what is given. It's normal, don't worry about as there is nothing you can do.

im trying to create a form as follows!
the user specifiees the number of say questions in jspPage1, getting the number of questions and displaying the number of forms on the next page jspPage2.
for example if the user specified that they wanted to enter 10 questions the next page would create 10 of the same forms.
or allow the user to enter 10 questions on the same form by adding the data to the database and refreshing the page. displaying a empty form and indicating whther update was successful!
plz help!what i mean is!
i need to create form that when the data is submitted the data is processed andit refreshes it self so that the user can enter some more data.

You can backup the iPad and then do a restore to factory condition which will completely wipe it: Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. But, before doing that remember, it completely erases everything.
You then have to restore from a backup...if you have a backup from before the bad message, you can use that and be fine. If not, you would be better off setting up the iPad as new and then redownload your apps and music...you can do that by going to the app store and itunes and tap the Purchases button and redownload everything.
You will loose your photos and email, and such in the process, however. If you have iCloud, put the photos in PhotoStream and then use that to put them back on the iPad.
Without a good backup from just before the bad message, erasing is going to cause you a lot of work.
