PO attachments in ME22N greyed out

Hi all, i created a new PO, after that, i went to ME22N just to add an PDF file as an attachment.
I went to the create Services for Object - Create.... but the option of Create attachment it is greyed out.
The PO is open, not MIGO or MIRO transaction run.
Any idea what should i do just to have this functionality available?

As per you problem , as sangeetha said ..it may be authorization problem. "Service for object" authorization object is missing .

As I can't see any complicated scenario in your requirement. So I suggest you can achieve this by simple standard configuration.
Go to OME9, double click on the Account assignment category and make the field as Display.
Then check in your PO.
But I doubt, your requirement can not be simple like that.
So either you didn't know the settings or your requirement is different or you are just trying to learn that can it be possible via coding.
Let us know the appropriate reason for set it as display.

BADI/user exit for me22n - disable/grey out field quantity (MEPO1211-MENGE)

Dear all SAP gurus,
When changing PO (ME22N), I need to disable (grey out) the quantity field on item (MEPO1211-MENGE), when all scheduled quantity is already received (EKET-MENGE = EKET-WEMNG).
Have tried using LMEIGICJI and Handle_event method in CL_SCREEN_VIEW_MM. But still doesn't go to the screen that wants to be disabled.
Tried using BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, but couldn't find how to disable the quantity field.
(IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~FIELDSELECTION_ITEM only works for custom field).
Please kindly advise

No need of ABAP, follow this IMG Path.
Material Management -> Purchasing - Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level
After Executing it . Choose ME22 from list and then choose display icon.
than double click Quantity and Price here uncheck opt. Entry and check display.
save your work.

Greyed out fields to be enabled in delivery schedule tab of ME21N & ME22N

Hi Gurus,
I need to make two fields in PO create and change tcode, to be made editable as they are greyed out for particular document type and item category combination. Please refer screenshots below:

I tried settings in 'Define Screen Layout at Document Level' for that field selection as well as in Edit system settings at the item detail level...but still the fields are in disabled mode only. Any help in this regard??

Hello Pramod,
As AKPT has pointed out, FO type documents are used for a broad framework type scenario, where most of the details are unknown at the time of releasing the PO.
The system by default allows standard, limit (B) and service (D) for such POs.
If you are trying to change the item category during creation (and not after the PO has history) please look at this IMG -> MM -> Purchasing -> Define Doc types -> Framework order FO -> Allowed Item categories.
I don't think delivery schedules are allowed for FO type orders.

Cannot email event videos via link. Link greyed out

I took some video clips (about 30 seconds each) with my iPhone the other day of my wife playing guitar. I sync'ed my iPhone and they went into an event in iPhoto, "Wife playing guitar." That event did sync back to my iPhone, however the videos in the new "Wife playing guitar" album on the iPhone are from an entirely different event,"Friend playing violin," and I can't find the one's that are supposed to be in that event.
Now, the video clips of the wife playing guitar are in the proper event in iPhoto 2009. I want to email the videos, but the option for emailing is greyed out. The option for flickr, MobileMe, and Facebook are colored in and available. I did upload them all to a MobileMe gallery, but MobileMe doesn't offer me the option to email them, only to download them.
Can anyone offer me some suggestions, advice, or help?

Email the URL for the MMe gallery to those you want to have the movie and let them download. Email accounts often limit the file size of attachments and the MMe gallery method is more compatible with those kinds of email accounts.
Or try this method: Sharing Large Files with iDisk. It involves an email with a link to download the file.

Grey out out ESLL=TBTWR in Service purchase order

Hi I need to grey out out ESLL=TBTWR in Service purchase order when the status is released 'S'?
I Tried Include LV69AFZZ - form userfield modification -it works for conditions tab but not for service tab.
I need to grey out only for released PO , others cases allow user to edit.

Recording Modes greyed out

All my recording modes have greyed out, as the attached screen shot, so I cannt change options.
I seem to be stuck in Demo mode.
Any ideas what I have done wrong?

Please note that if you have an image, you may insert it inline using the little camera icon just above where you type the post.
This way we may see your image immediately and not have to wait for the forum mods to make it available in the attachments section.
So it will be helpful if you could reply and add the image that way. Perhaps then we might better help you.
Also, what version of Captivate are you using?

Scanned [PDF] Document Greyed Out

Hello:
I have a Windows 7 Professional [SP1] (64)-bit computer running Acrobat v9.5.x that is having problems scanning in documents from a HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP 425dn all-in-one, as PDFs, using the native HP scanning software that came with the device.
Scanned documents are "greyed out" when viewed in Acrobat, however, when these same documents are printed our or sent via e-mail [as attachments] they are displayed properly in Acrobat.
An additional oddity, is that on the same computer under a different user profile, the same scanned document is displayed properly in Acrobat.
While I realize that this could be a scanner [scanner software] issue, it seems likely that it may have something to do with the users [profile specific] Acrobat settings, so I'm wondering if there are some things I could check or if there is a way to remove this persons Acrobat settings, so they can be recreated.

IWork Files Greyed Out

I bought an iMac G5 second hand. It had old, licensed copies of iWork on it. I deleted them and installed my licensed copy of iWork. The Mac seems to have picked up the previous users license key but I am able to create and save documents in Keynote etc.
However, when I try and email using a webmail client, any iWork files are greyed out and not selectable. Other files created in, say, Text Edit are selectable as attachments.
I have trashed the plist file for Keynote but this does not help. Permissions for the file are read and write. I am signed in as an Administrator.
Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

Control-click a document, compress or archive it, and attach the zip file. iWork creates packages, which look like files but are actually folders, and these cannot be directly attached to an email.

the Insert bar in hotmail reply is greyed out and the icons such "Attachments" are not clickable. I am using Firefox 3.6.13 and have Silverlight 4.0.51204.0 enabled. What can be the problem? Also, in some instances cookies that store my address and other information that I need to populate when filling in online purchase forms on - say - eBay, are not working and I have to fill them in every time.

Image Processor Greying Out

Hi everyone:
I have been using the Image Processor Script for years to resize my tifs to jpegs. Recently, I have come across a problem. The folders that I want to select are greyed out and I am unable to select the correct folders for making my jpegs. The folder properties are correct. Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can select the correct folders? I appreciate your time and thoughts. Thank you very much for your assistance.

I've seen a big increase in the amount of image spam, I spoke with Ironport support and they had me use the following filter:

That filter will catch a lot of image spam. Unfortunately, it will also catch a lot of legitimate messages, too. Within two minutes of enabling that filter on our system, it had quarantined 8 messages, but 2 of them were from vendors we work with regularly. Seems to be quite a few legitimate applications that generate messages containing inline graphic attachments, and this filter will stop all of them.
I've noticed that Outlook with Word as the editor will generate messages with inline graphic attachments, so anyone who uses this and includes a logo in their signature will run into this. Just FYI. I've seen messages from Microsoft support people get caught by these types of filters. Not good for business, so we just have to put up with the spam until we can find a better way to filter it out, but this isn't the solution.

Adobe Reader X - Save Button is greyed out

the "Save" Button is greyed out with every PDF File.
File -> Save is also grey
File -> Save as... is functional.
Where's the Problem?

What I've been doing is using the keyboard command Ctrl+Shift+S, which brings up the Save As... dialog box.
Like thinksink, I receive PDFs by email. I scan documents using our printer/scanner/fax machine, and it sends the documents to my email account as PDF files. By default, the documents are named "scan.pdf", and it is inconvenient to type in a different document title before sending. So, when scan.pdf arrives in my inbox, I open the file to ensure that the document has scanned correctly, and if it has, I save it to the appropriate folder on my drive.
In Reader 9, I could click the Save... button (which was NOT greyed out), and the Save As... dialog box would open. I think the first time I did that, I was shown a warning that changes to the document could not be saved and if I wanted to save it, I would have to save it to a file with a different name. Since this is exactly what I intended to do, everything worked great. And, I didn't have to see the warning every time because there was a "Don't show me this again" check box.
Another related annoying change from Reader 9 is that Reader X doesn't remember what folder I saved the last document to. In the Save As... dialog box, the saving process for each document always starts in the temporary folder that Outlook stores attachments in, and I have to work my way through the directory tree to save each file. This occurs even when I leave the application running and just close the last document.

Applescript open message menu items greyed out

I've struck a real dilemma. When opening a Mail message with any sort of scripting, many of the menu items remain greyed out, including the one that's important to me, 'Save Attachments...'.
If I manually open the same message, the menu items are enabled.
Try this script, by resetting the mailbox name to one of your own mailboxes, and you'll see what I mean.
Anybody got any clues as how to fix this, please? (I've lodged a bug report).

Text wrap options are greyed out

Hi,
I am trying to create a "drop cap" by selecting a text box and changing the wrap options in the inspector however, the "object placement" options to wrap the text are greyed out and I can not change them, except for the options below, such as "object causes to wrap" check box and the "text fit" boxes.
Is this a glitch? I have restarted both my program and whole computer, as well as tried it in a new document, and it still is coming up greyed out.
HELP, I have a project due and I need to be able to add in drop caps!

Wi-fi option on my ipod touch is greyed out?

Hi,
My ipod touch won't connect via wi-fi and the option is greyed out when I try to connect manually. Two other ipod touches in my house are working fine. I've already reset it 3 times and no change.

One user reported that placing the iPod in the freezer fixed the problem. A trick that works frequently with iPhones:
Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
