PO Buyer Name
Hi,
I am trying to extract Buyer's information from PO_AGENTS table in R12. Below is the query
SELECT pa.agent_id,
papf.person_id,
papf.employee_number,
papf.email_address,
pa.category_id,
pa.location_id,
papf.effective_start_date,
papf.effective_end_date
FROM po_agents pa, per_all_people_f papf, hr_all_organization_units haou
WHERE pa.agent_id = papf.person_id
AND papf.business_group_id = haou.business_group_id
AND TRUNC (SYSDATE) BETWEEN papf.effective_start_date AND papf.effective_end_date
AND papf.effective_end_date > SYSDATE
AND haou.business_group_id = 83 -- CURRENT
Here, I am using business_group_id from per_all_people_f because the organization_id I require is not available in per_all_assignments_f table. But this query does not return data specific to my organization. Which joins do I need to add to get the data?
Is there any other way I can join po_agents or per_all_people_f with hr_all_organization_units?
Thanks in advance,
Aditya
Sunil,
it is coming from Purchasing group description, table for that is T024.
Reward points if helpful.

You have purchase order number (EBELN)
goto table EKKO and get vendor number (LIFNR)
goto table LFA1 and give the LIFNR value there and get the (Vendor name) NAME1.

Make Purchase Order Change Buyer name
Hello Experts - small question, how do I change in an Purchase order the buyer name for standard.
I mean, I always make the PO's so I want my name standard in the buyer box, how can I do this?
Thank you!HI Bob
You need to go Administration->Setup->General->User Defaults.
You have to select the appropriate user and under default tab,you have to set the sales employee as your name.
So Buyer name will appear by default in PO when logging with that particular user...
Revert me for any clarifications... -
Buyer No & Buyer Name in PO's Process
Hi All,
I am Technical consultant. But i want know who is buyer in PO's process.
In which table these data are stored means..what is the field names of buyer no & buyer name.
Thanks,
Subbu.Hi,
In MM , you can create purchasing groups. A purchasing group can be an individual or a group of individuals,i.e nothing but a Buyer.
U can maintain Purchasing group at Organisational data tab while creating Po.
Purch group-Key for a buyer or a group of buyers, who is/are responsible for certain purchasing activities.
Table Name-MEPO1222
Field Name-EKGRP
Par ID-EKG

How to maintain Authorized buyer for a customer in Sales Order.
Dear all,
We have a corporate customer, which has 10 authorized buyers. We have created a Customer number for this company.
But at time of sales order creation, we need enter the authorized buyer name in sales order for the record purpose.
we are not creating any authorized persons in the system.
but our management want to see the person name who is buying behalf of the corporate customer.
for that we need to prepare a report.
I think SAP must be having a standard solution to address this requirement.
I request you to help me to resolve this issue. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
thank you

Changing buyer on PO or scheduling agreement
Hi All,
In SAP you have the functionality to send a mail to the buyer when an invoice is blocked for price differences. This mail is being send using the ME partner profile and it determines the buyer from the PO or SA to send the mail. My question is how can one change the buyer that is assigned to a PO or scheduling agreement?
We are making heavy usage of scheduling agreement which run for more then one year. Now it happens that a buyer leaves the company and his work is taken over by another buyer so we would need to have these mails send to the new responsible person.
Could you experts advise on how this could be done? We don't want to re-create new scheduling agreements each time a buyer leaves the company.
Regards,
PeterHi Jurgen,
The purchasing group, ok that one I have but this is not the field that is used for the sending of the mail on price differences after posting the invoice in MIRO. This is the buyer name, aka the creator of the document.
Now we have a buyer that is leaving the company and the mails need to go now to the new buyer and we don't want to changed all the scheduling agreements and PO's created by this buyer.
I find it strange that SAP gives the option to send mails to buyers but does not offer any option to change this data if needed. -
Default different blanket release buyer via PR interface
Hi,
My scenario:
blanket agreement set buyer A, and all the sourcing funtion have been set (ASL, assignment set, sourcing rule..),
I want to customize a program to insert PR interface, then create new blanket release automatically, but the new blanket release's buyer is B,
how to do that? I suppose the PR interface column suggested_buyer_id could achieve this function, but it's not workablePR interface suggested_buyer_id column won't work.
It just puts the buyer name on the requisition; not on the release.

Can we make requestor not to change the Buyer on the PO?
Is it possible to not change the Buyer on a PO once it is created? I guess this can be achieved by form Personalization. But I am not sure which PROPERTY I need to use to make this change?
Any Ideas please?
Thanks,
PrathimaDid you test the fucntionality of enforcing the buyer name? Setup-->Purchasing-->Puchasing Options -->COntrol--Enforce buyer name?
If you check this, the user who logged in should be setup as a buyer and they cannot use anyother buyer name.
Or you should be able to create PO with any buyer name and after creation you do not want to change this?
Thanks

Suggested Buyer Field in oracle iprocurrement requisition
Hi Gurus,
please tell me the prupose of suggested buyer field in the iprocurrement requisition.
also please suggest me how a buyer knows that a requisition is available for autocreate process for PO creation. Does oracle sends any notification to the buyer once a requisition is approved. what is the message type for this notification.
Thanks,
SamDWhen the buyer goes to the autocreate screen, the buyer name is filled in with his/her on that screen by default.
If the iprocurement requisition has the suggested buyer filled in, the requisition will appear when he searches on the autocreate screen.
As far as I know, no notification is sent to the buyer when a requisition is approved.
Hope this helps

How to Forward PR to specific buyer login ?
Hi All,
we have oracle apps 11i (11.5.10.2).
I want to forward PR to specific buyer. How it can achieve ?
Buyer is using Autocreate functionality to create PO then how buyer will know that the PR is lying in his account at the time of autocreate?
regards
sanjayMake sure that when the PR is created, the user enters the Buyer name on the PR lines.
That way, when the buyer goes to Autocreate screen and hits find, he/she will see the PR.
Hope this helps,

end;As there is change in requirement now I need to read the multiple supplier sites at the header level. Current this is my structure please give an idea how to read the mulitple sites as one record, probably i can increase the supplier site columns at table level so as to capture second site level information.
But if in case if i receive that time it should not fail please provide some good solution for this issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.

NagendraHi odie,
Thanks for your response. But here my supplier site will always be maxiumum 2 times and minimum 1 time. My thinking is to fit this one in the existing code by repeating the supplier site only like this

supp_site_region_code_2 VARCHAR2(3 ) path 'HEADER/SUPPLIER/SITES/SITE/REGION_CODE',As this table I am being used in many areas, it will be problem for me if try to go for different levels of tables. Or else can it be possible to read only once
I mean only the first in the xml tags and leave the second xml. As there is not much significant for the second one.
I appreciate your ideas on this, as the structure we are following is to rigid so I don't have much options to explore, please provide me your inputs in this context.
Thanks for your help.

Is there a List of all Oracle R12 EBS Standard/Seeded Reports?
Hey,
Does anyone have a list of all Oracle R12_ EBS Seeded Reports in the system?
- Particularly for Finance and/or Purchasing modules
- Ideally with additional information and details regarding what each report contains (a general description or all the fields it includes).
I can only assume there should be a document that lists them all out by module, and includes details of each report. I dug through the document library, but was not able to find anything like that.
Even a list of report names per module would be nice?
If there is a perfect query that brings in the exact Active Report Names and associated Application Name / Module Name that would work too... (emphasis on perfect: Comprehensive, correct, and includes names of relevent Application and/or module)
Thanks,
