PO from the BID

Hi,
We created the BID from SC in the system.
The vendor has sent the Vendor Bid with his own positions. By results of the BID procedures the position offer from SC has been rejected.  But the vendor’s position has been accepted.
Then we true to create the PO with vendor’s position from the BIT, we have the system message – «No PO created – No logical system for FI is maintained». Why we can’t create the PO? That do you think? There we should to define FI system?
We use the Stand alone scenario. The VENDOR_ACS and VENDOR_SYS attributes we defined in the Org. model

In Org structure have you defined:
System Alias for Accounting Systems (ACS)
value would be whatever system you would be posting FI entries

    Hi Experts,
    I have 2 packages :
    1. Main Package -For each loop package
    2. Sub Package - As we need to collect the information from several other DB with same table structures .
    The Main Package calls the Sub Package and loops through several linked server (9 of them ) .
    From last 2 weeks the scheduler is running on time but no data is loaded into our destination DB . 
    Daily i need to manually run the package .
    The SQL Agent task is scheduled using the service account from which  the sql server was installed on the server so it has the full privledges.
    If i run the Main package from the BIDS i see 2 messages related to the configuration of xml no error message and executes fine.
    If i run the Package from the execute package utility it runs fine.
    Now if the package is scheduled for a nightly load it executes fine successfully no error message also in the Job History
    but when i check for the data loaded on that day no data loads up in the destination DB . Due to this behavior of the sql agent even if am on leave i have to login on to the server and exec manually so if at times i forget the exec we are in big trouble
    Please experts help me in troubleshooting the issue.

    We are using a service account to run the package .. Earlier in the BIDS i was getting the error crypotgenic
    something password .. I googled out and changed the security : Protection Level : Dont save Sensitive
    information . So that error now its not showing in the BIDS
    And how is login mapping done for the linked servers?  You've configured a mapped login for the service account also?

  • In DOC CHECK BADI: Check if PO has a SC when coming from a BID

    Hi Experts,
    Please consider this situation and recommend best possible approach.
    From Sourcing, I raise a BID and then create a PO from the BID.
    While PO creation, I need to check if this PO had SC and if so include the SC requestor in the approval if the price has increased while Bidding when compared the created SC.
    Here I am facing a challenge - When executing the DOC CHECK BADI, the FM: BBP_PROCDOC_GETDETAIL does not result any HEADER_REL itab values that shows any history details of the PO document. Whereas by the time the logic moves to the Workflow BADI, this same FM returns values (SC and other details).
    My Query: While creating from a BID, How can I check if this PO is generating out of a SC in the DOC CHECK BADI.

    You can check this BADI "BBP_ITEM_CHECK_BADI" and this badi is called when
    u2022     a new item has been created,
    u2022     an item has been changed or the document is to be checked

  • Partial ordering from several bids

    Hello experts,
    One of our procurement scenarios include creating a bid invitation with reference to a shopping card, creating bids for the bid invitation and ordering an item partially from the bids. For example we want to procure 5 pieces of material and 2 of them is to be procured from bid 1 and 3 of them is procured from bid2.
    The problem is when we procure partially from several bids we lose the shopping card reference in the second bid. Is there anyway to procure an item from multiple bids and still keeping shopping card reference.

    We created PO from accepted bids that is right.
    By SC reference I mean the SC reference in PO.
    That happens when i accepted more than one bid for a shopping card item. The first PO has the bid and SC reference but the other PO's lost the SC reference.

    Hello,
    are you trying to create a local SC or a backend PR ?
    If you are in classic mode (so PR and not SC), you could try to derive the PO flow to create a PR instead.
    But this is not really clean.
    The best way is to add a new button "Create PR" in quote screen (or rename the create PO if you don't use it), linked to your own fcode processing and finally call the META_REQUISITION_CREATE in SRM (instead of META_PO_CREATE).
    The last point would be to create a link BID_INV>BID>PR to be displayed in document flow. You have to check if it is possible, because sometimes the system is designed for limited possible flows and does not take into account the flow you want to add.
    In standard, you can create directly a backend PO only if the bid was created from a SC in the sourcing cockpit. Otherwise use local or extended PO (replicated in R/3).
    If this is the case, FM BBP_PD_SC_TRANS_MULTI_BE_PO will transfer the initial SC items to next document, which is a backend PO. You would need to operate some changes here to create PR.

    We are on SRM 7.0 classic scenario.
    Trying to create a local PO from an accepted bid in Plan driven scenario
    1) Is there a way to alter the quantity in the PO, or create partial PO's from 2 or more accepted bids.
    I didn't see any way to do this as the PO is instantaneously triggered & no option to change
    2) The scales and Pricing conditions entered by the supplier in the bid , are not transferred to the PO?
    Only the final Price calculated , based on the conditions is transferred? Is there a way to transfer the conditions and scales too?
    3) The bidder can enter the validity dates in the Price conditions. However what is the effect of those? If the buyer tries to create a PO from the accepted bid, beyond the validity date, is there a hard stop error?
    Is there any other place at Header level, where the bidder can specify the validity date for the bid, except the conditions?

    I deleted the mail.app in the bid to save space but i want to re-install. I have inserted the install disk and tried to do it that way but the version is too old.
    in the box i was told to install the combo update which one do i install and will it work. Is there something else i can do

    If you've already restored the older version of Mail, then run the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 update.
    Note that the version of Mail you restored should be from a Snow Leopard Installer Disc.

    This only just started after I updated to the new 3.1 software, which included an update to the Mobile Me control panel. I sure would love to fix it, because the error message pops up every 20 seconds.   • No approval workflow  found error while processing the  Bid Invitation

    We are working on SRM 5.0 (SP level6). We are able to create the bid invitations successfully from the sourcing cockpit. However while saving the changes in the bid invitations, system shows the error "No approval workflow  found". When checked in SWB_PROCUREMENT , no workflow exists for object" BUS2200, Bid Invitation EC"in the standard SRM.

      Use T-code OOCU - Task custamising overview. Then SRM-EBP --> SRM-EBP-WFL then active event linking.
      Please activate WS145000026 for automatic approval of bid. or WS145000027 for one step approval of bid invitation.
    This will help to solve your problem. IF not please reply me the error.

  • How to resend the bid

    Hi All,
    We have an item that we took off an existing PO because the vendor was not able to fulfill this part number. We removed (using trash can) this item off the PO so the item will go back into the sourcing cockpit. This item in now in the sourcing cockpit, but it will not let us choose the item for re-bidding; the box is grayed out and is showing the original bid number. How can we re-send this item out to bid so we can finish processing this request?

    I think we need to implement BAdI "BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI" to get solution for your issue. I also faced the same problem like when I deleted the PO item in PO, the item is not available in Sourcing. We implemented the BAdI to get Solution.
    The BAdI logic: Once the item is deleted from the PO we need to save the PO, while saving the PO you have to update the item status as available for sourcing with the help of BAdI. Then that particular item is available for sourcing

    I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
    When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
    At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
    I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

    Bidder logon to SUS. SUS has manu link for Bid Invitation. When bidder selects Bid Invitation link in SUS, application brings up the EBP ITS screen.
    + You have to set up bidder replication from SUS to EBP
    + Single Sign On should be setup from SUS to EBP
    + SUS bidder should have SAP_EC_SUS_BIDDER role
    Please check SUS customizing.

      In my scenairo ,the document flow PR -RFx -Contract (SRM)-Contract (ECC).Sometimes ,the use cant make sure the number of the product .because the number of the product Id has relationship with the price .So the user create the PR with the product description in ECC ,and do the sourcing in SRM .After Rfx ,you user will create contract reference the RFX response .You know ,at this monment ,the number of the product ID is defined .But the user cann't enter the product ID in the contract .
      yes ,I guess this maybe the SAP standard  .Any body has the suggestions  about it ? thanks .

    free text must be converted as product category in the Material Type rather than MATERIAL when you turn to Bid Invitation from the shopping cart .
    This was a bug the above behavior . i do remember the type SHOULD be COCO in the BBP_PD.
    i raised one oss message long back regarding this behavior and SAP has changed this behavior in the following correction note
    so like wise sc to BI - needs to be corrected by SAP notes.( I think me and Tim SChuflin discused in some thread ) since you could not change since the system internally behaves like Product category item type
    Note 1440426 - Wrong Itemtype selected when GOA created from SC
    Symptom
    Purchaser creates Global Outline Agreement ( GOA ) from Shopping Cart with the following steps.
    1. Create a free text shopping cart.
    2. Shopping cart items will be available in sourcing cockpit for processing.
    3. Purchaser creates a GOA from sourcing cockpit with 'Create Contract' option.
    4. GOA will be created with items. All the items are created with NORMAL category instead of product category although the product ID is not maintained.
    Eventually i tell you one point
    when you convert free text to RFX and item type must be PRODUCT CATEGORY rather than Material so that you should not think of to enter a material.
    when you convert product id to RFX and item type should be MATERIAL.
    Hope you understand the behaviors.
    so there is a flaw in the existing  system ( i believe after you convert into BI and you may manually change into product category from MATERIAL but sytem should do but purchaser should not do this activities).
    p.s Are you having the same behavior for SRM originated shopping cart free text or only for external free text item
