Hi All,
I am looking for a report that shows PO header details only, like PO #, PO Value, Vendor # etc
SAPXPT
There is no such SAP standard report where you will find only the PO header details

Dinamic Logo in Header Reports
I've a table with two field. Emp_Name-Varchar2(30), Logo (BLOB). I want that report show me the logo on the header report, reading from these table, dynamically. I mean that when I pass Emp_Name as a parameter to the report, the report execute an sql that show me the logo on HEADER, not into the report body.
How can I do that?I suggest you create this code as your first query in the data model
select blob_column
from table_name
where report_name=srw.get_report_name;
This way you wont need to supply a parameter for the query because reportwriter will know the name of the report running. - this depends on your setup
This will create a blob column for your layout just like any other column. All you need to do is place it in the header section.
I am not sure if it is possible to this into a parameter????????????

Hi Frnds,
In CK13N i can see all the details of a particular material like the raw materials details , over head cost and other things .which can be seen only on each material basis.
Is there any standard report where i can see all these details for multiple materials???

*CK82, where you can provide multiple Material codes. This report provides Total cost and OH cost. If you require each component level, you can call Cost Components from the same report.

I need your help, I need to do a report in text format and this should be open in excel but when it's openned this didn't show the header only the body, when the report is created is save with the extention .rdf 'cause each report must be showed in pdf, html and text format

first, in object navigator, under system parameters, in DESFORMAT you have to put a DELIMITEDDATA for the output type of the file,
next, in the data model you have to create a query like:

I m going for a more complex selection criteria. So, I need to give Row Headings in the reports for various sections ie each row will require several rows to be defined (e.g. one row for revenues, with a specific set and selections, and a second row with costs using a different set and selections)
Could you let me know how this can be done?
I looked at the formating there I can see Column Heading but NOT Row Heading.
Any ideas are appreicated!

Sorting the report by clicking the column header

Currently working on a requirement where i need to sort the report by clicking the column header. Can anyone please help me on this.
Suppose i have 3 colums deptno,dname,sal fields in my report. if i click deptno column header, report has to sort by deptno.Like that i need for other columns also.

You can sort the fields using method suggested by Cauvery. However if you would like to have Ascending/ Descending sort order control at column header, then would require to implement few additional steps.
First do the sorting of field using the way suggested by Cauvery. Once sorting is done, right click on the column name and select the option ' Bind Sort Control'. You will see the sorted field in the window. select the field and click ok.
Now you would get 2 arrows on column. If you click upper arrow, fields would be sorted in Ascending Order and if you click on down arrow, it would be in Descending order.

SSRS 2012: Report Header PrintOnFirstPage-problem after report migration from SSRS 2008
Hi ,
I developed my report using VS 2008 IDE and the report header property "PrintOnFirstPage" is set to False.
The content of the header are some textboxes and lines that should show only on page number > 1.
This works fine in VS 2008 IDE in preview mode as well as with reports rendered by SSRS 2008 report server.
Recently I migrate&convert the same report to SSRS 2012 I noticed a different rendering behaviour of my report.
So in VS 2010 preview mode, the page headers content (textboxe etc.) is not visible on first page but the headers space did not colapse as it does in VS 2008 IDE preview mode.
I checked all the report properties but unable to find a solution to my problem.
I was able to reprduce the same behaviour by creating a new report using VS2010 IDE.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated

I have tested on my local enviorment and can't reproduce the issue, the issue can be caused by many factors, it can be caused by the properties setting and can also caused by the visual studio, Detais information below for your reference:
As you mentioned that you have check all the report properties, please also check the tablix,Page Header,report body properties to see if the size are the same with that in the SSRS2008.
Please open this rdl report in the report builder to see if the print layout is correct, if it works fine, the issue can be caused by the visual studio.
Please also try to upload the rdl report to report manager to check the layout.
Please also provide the snaphot of the layout in VS2010 to let us better analysis about the issue.

How to get prompt value in Financial Reporting and use it as header
Hi Oracle Gurus,
I have Hyperion Financial Reporting 11.1.1.3. I created a report.
I have Products dimension on rows. And I also have prompt for Products.
Let's say there is 3 products, Product A, B, and C, with each has its own level 0 item (for example A1, A2, B1, C1)
Currently in my situation, user will be prompted to select a list of Products, and then the report will display only the level 0 of the product chosen by the user. For example, user select Product A, then the report (or the grid) will display A1 and A2 on rows. User select Product B, B1 will be displayed.
My question is, I want to create a dynamic header report, so how can I get this prompt value and use it as a report header? For example: Sales of Product A when user choose Product A, or Sales of Product B when user choose Product B.

Here is the possible way to achieve it:
1. Insert a row (may be as row 1) in the report which has product as "User prompt".
2. mark this row as hidden always
3. User other rows as level0 of product in row 1
4. Use MEMBERALIAS in your header to use product as dimension & row as row1

We have a query in SQ01 that provides a listing of employees and their

date it was run, etc. What I've been asked to do is display the input

SQ01 - ABAP List Report Header
We have a query in SQ01 that provides a listing of employees and their
IT0027 distribution accounts. Using the ABAP List as the output I have
some control over the header information. I've done things like the
report title, the username of the individual who runs it, the time and
date it was run, etc. What I've been asked to do is display the input
parameters for the report in the header.

Select_Options consists of 4 parameters, in with the range consists in eg...
Select-options s_vbeln for vbak-vbeln.
then s_vbeln-low, s_vbeln-high are the range values...
So whne you write select query.
write vbeln in s_vbeln
instead of vbeln eq s_vbeln

Hi,
I have created a Report in Report Designer and executing the same in the portal. My report has a Header, report section and Footer. In the Report section of the Report, the first row is the Heading of the columns like Material, customer, sold to party, Bill to party, etc.. When i execute the report in the portal, this heading row is displayed in the first page. When i move to the second page, i could only see the header, footer & the values but not the Heading row. I want the Heading row also to appear in all of the pages in Portal. I have checked all the options available in Report Designer but couldnt find anything relevant to this.

ONLY the "Header Section" and "Footer Section" will be displayed on each page. If you want the column headings to display on every page you must put them in the Header Section of the report. Just add columns to the Header to match your report format then type in your columns headers in the "Header section."
NOTE: When you first add a header section to the report it adds it as one big row (really one big column). Just click the top of the default header row and add columns to match your formatting. Then resize them to fit the page.
If you need, you can also MERGE cells together (similar to Excel) to get the length required for your formatting.

We are using crystal reports. There are around 400 reports in our application. We want to use a common header across the reports. The main challenge that we are facing now is if I have a change for the header then I have to open all the 400 reports make the change and then re-deploy them. Is there any way that is possible in Crystal where I have a common header report and if I change at on place then all the reports should get modified automatically.

Prudhvisince the reports weren't built using this method or using repository objects, you either have extra work to do now (on all 400 reports) or you need to pay money to get a third party product as per Venkatesh's suggestion above and then do some work for that as well. another product you may wish to look into is Rpt Inspector but you'd have to verify with them as to whether or not this would work in an enterprise environment.
for the subreport re-import method you need to add the report to all 400 reports and then save those 400 reports back to the repository. as a test you may wish to try this out with a couple of (two) reports. then open the "header" report up from the enterprise system, make a change, and then when you open up the two reports that use the header report, you should see the changes in those two reports.
i mentioned repository objects above as that's another way of updating objects on multiple reports when you've got an enterprise system and those objects have been stored in the repository and then added to your reports when designing. please see here for more info on this...an older document but the methodology would still be the same. -

**URGENT** - Vendor Line Item Reporting
Dear Gurus,
Need some URGENT help with regards to Vendor Reporting?
Our business has requested for a Vendor Line Item / header Report, which will display ALL Vendor Items NET (before tax).
At the moment our business it manually taking out Tax in FBL1n (Vendor Line Item Report).
Please could you kindly let me know if there is ANY report in SAP which displays the Vendor Items NET & GROSS??

All I want is a "net column" - Which will display the vendor invocie amount - BEFORE VAT (Tax).
So on FBL1N or Another SAP-Vendor Report what I need is a
Net Amount column and a Gross Amount Column.
I hope this makes sense and someone can assist....

I would like to know is the complex authorizations can also cause the Bex report performance.
One of my scenerio is like there are two users A & B
A is having relevant authorizations for reporting, Drill down etc which are required.
B is having SAP All authorization.
When the same report has been executed by both users on the same system.
the data retrieved by user B(SAP_ALL authorization) is quite faster than User A.
Its like ther diffference of about 10 minutes.
There are some exsclude selections in report.
So my conclusion is like the complex authorizations do also hampers the query performance.
Please confirm & share your views.

Can you help us understand what was the exact problem and how you resolved it / solution at Extraction / Modeling / Reporting end.
I have a quite similiar issue with my report i have Header + Item report on Infoset
u2022 Header report takes seconds and item report takes minutes
u2022 The same report executed with exact parameter has inconsistent performance results meaning one time it takes 1 minutes next time same report same user and same authorization takes 5 minutes.
Any help on this would be really greatfull. Suspecting is not an issue with the report at all , as no changes happened between the pre and post check.
_Additional Information : _
We Create Secondary -Bitmap index every week end i do not see that is one of the route cause.
Except that we have our regular daily loads that are running for master data loads and transaction data loads in series.
