PO Upload through recording

Hello All,
I m writing upload program for PO through recording (SM35). I m facing problem at item level. I have hundred of items to upload. At item level grid there is no button like 'Insert Row'. In actual screen it is done through scroll bars of grid. It generates BDC_Code of Enter/Return. But when I run this recording (or generated program) even in SM35 it doesn't write records more than that of grid rows (visible rows) and gives error message that material group column is not writable. Actually it doesn't consider scroll bar pressing as new record entry in recording and tries to overwrite on last row that is already written. If I give row no greater than that of visible rows, it gives error. I have no problem for Condition entries because 'Insert Row' button is available there.
Please tell me how I should handle this problem in recording?

Hi Nadeem,
I don't know on what release you are on. But BAPI_PO_CREATE1 does have the possibility of adding conditions. Furthermore, as far as I know, you can use an arbitrary package number just to relate the PO-item and the relevant Services. Just start with '0000000001' for the first PO-item and add 1 for any next item.
The checks executed during screen processing should be the same when executing using a BAPI.

Issue with clearing previous record while uploading through LSMW

I have created lsmw for hiring action using transaction PA40. i have a tab delimited flat file, when i run the lsmw script the first record is uploaded perfectly. However the upload halts for the second record, coz the previous record still remanins, is there an issue with the recording or do i need to clear anything?. How do i resolve this one and continue uploading other records.

Hi Friend,
In the LSMW, Under the User menu you have Display Read Program and Display Conversion Program select this and open the respective program you feel having problem and put a break point in the Loop statement and debug. I will help you to identify the problem to resolve.

Unique ID during upload through WebADI integrator

Hi All,
Is there any unique ID generated for each upload through a custom Integrator (similar to fnd_global.conc_request_id for concurrent programs)?

Normally we use row id or integration id for this, we populate this value in the external id field (for the records created manually) so that we can do bulk update. My personal experience is row id's are more reliable than integration id's and it has always worked for me :) (my technical team also prefers to use the row id for WS as this value cannot be changed). What kind of linking problem did your people face by using row id?
If you are looking for some other unique single value identifier, I dont think any other than row id, integration id and external unique id exists. Else you need to go with “On Demand predefined fields” option (First Name, Last Name, Email, Work Phone # for contact records).

The batch input program RV14BTCI reads the parameters is necessary
Giving sequential file and creates (depending on the data

The data are seq file in the following structure expected:
- The session a session intent (Table KOBTCI, Record 0)
All other records until the next session, the intent
Last session assigned to read
- The head condition Sentence (Table KOBTCI, record 1)
All other records until the next condition,
Last read head appropriate rate
This includes the corresponding condition
Condition table
- The key sentence of a Main (Table KOBTCI, record 2)
It must be directly on the head set to follow
It contains the key condition of the table
+ Detail fields
- The season record has a subordinate clause (Table KOBTCI, record 3)
The teams relate to the key sentence in the main

Pass-through recording with Canon ZR25

I have an older Canon ZR25. Is it capable of pass-through recording from a VCR? I can plug the VCR to the camera, and the camera to the computer via the firewire, but can't get anything to work. Is my only option to actually record the VCR tape on the mini DV tape in the camcorder first, then transfer that to the computer?

How business transation data,opening balances are uploaded through lsmw?

Hi,
As all the balances can be uploaded through FB01,Create a document type by for upload set all the transaction allowed in document type.
Firstly create a LSMW for FB01 posting a document so that we will know what all the fields need to be captured.
Then in the same format create a XL template with necessary required fields and fill the same with data.
Asset master data also can be uploaded through FB01 by removing the reconcilation field in OAMK change the reconcilation control and upload the balance in FB01 and again in OAMK change the control to reconcilation.
or through OASV also you can upload.

Unable to update DVM in MDS with upload through em

Hello all
I'm working on two environment : dev1 and dev2
I'm able to deploy a MDS on dev1 by zipping all the content in a "metadata.zip" file and uploading it to the dev1 through entreprise manager console.
When I do the same thing on dev2, it does not work.
I use a directory structure for dev1 : then I zip it in metadata.zip + upload through em : I can see then the modifications through the soa composer.
I use another directory structure for dev2 : then I zip it in another metadata.zip + upload through em : I cannot then see the modifications through the soa composer (but modifications are visible in the metadata database !).

Another information :
On the MBeans Browser, when I invoke the listSandboxes() operation on MDS I can see that there is one entry that is returned and which filename is composed of the filename that I want to update in the MDS. I mean :
I want to update a file in apps/AIAMetaData/dvm/dvmstage001.dvm
In the listSandboxes() returns I have one entry :
weblogic_72apps72AIAMetaData72dvm72dvmstage001.dvm

Uploading info records by using BDC

Does any one having knowledge in uploading info records (ME11) by using BDC.
Problem arises when going for multiple scales.

Goto transaction SHBD enter a recording name and specify the transaction code.
Enter the test data and save it , it will actomatically create a bdc program.
now select that recording name and click create program icon and specify the program name.

Can any one let me know if there is a FM or BAPI which can be used to update/upload condition records into inforecord (Transaction ME12). I need to know it to write a program for mass change/adding of conditions for huge number of inforecords.

Iam PP consultant and facing a problem of BOM components uploading through BAPI,for creating of the Network (CN21)
we have 300 components in the network activity and while uploading the BOM through BAPI , only 295 components has been uploaded.Others components has not uploaded.
Please suggest me what will be the Problem? and
What is the solution for the same?

Is it possible to write everything in a BSP application without the help of Planning level or layout or functions.
but only through webinterface and a BSP application and can abap coding be included in directly in .htm page.

Hi,
I don't think so you 'll be able to write the abap code directly in htm page.Web interfaces are used for the purpose of creating and using user interface .It is no where linked to the logic or the activity that has to be performed using abap code directly.
You have to use the planning level and planning function for uploading the data through flat file.You can check the How to guide in forum's.
You can also create Transaction code for uploading the master data,through abap code you can provide buttons to upload it.

Introduction:
In case of Purchase order, we need to maintain Release Strategy each year. This is due to organizational changes. Due to huge organization, this is around one week activity for us. Reason, we need to maintain characteristics for around 300 different release strategies. Since, we can't transport "Characteristics" from one system to other, we need to maintain them in Quality as well as in Production system.
Issue: We tried to use option of LSMW to maintain these "Characteristics". But, system is giving error as "Logical Path is not available".
Question: Who is responsible to create this "Logical Path" and where it can be done?

I think you moved LSMW from test to production and this might be happening due to this fact. Please redo steps in LSMW for:
Specify Files
Assign Files
Read Data
Create completely new paths, and allow system to recreate (you need the right authorization). This might help I hope.

Error while uploading conditions records in MEK1

Hi All,
I have a code that updates condition records in MEK1 from an excel sheet. The no of records in an excel sheet can go up to 60 k records. If i try to upload 5000 records, the coditions records are saved successfully. But then, if I try to upload 10000 records i get a error saying " Condition blocked by user " . On debugging I found out that the user id is mine. That is, same id as the person who is trying to upload records. The transaction is not open in any window as well.
My question is, why do we encounter this error and is there any limit to number of records that can be uploaded at a time in MEK1?

Hi Rao,
For blocking you can commit in intevals or you can use wait command but it will take extra time but your records will update in one go,when a condition record is created,then after you try to update for same material or plant thats the reason its blocking,you can either use wait or adjust your excel files and avoid duplication of materials or whatever you are using in sequential manner.

Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.

I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.
