POP email acount will not go away

I deleted a pop account in Outlook 2010 and replaced it with an IMAP account. Everything works fine except I get a pop up every time asking for my user name and pass word on my old account. I know it is my old account as the server name
is pop.xxxx.com When I click on file/account settings the pop account is not listed. I have searched but there seems to be no answers to this one. I am running windows 8.1

Remove that particular POP3 account also from the Accoung Groups by following the given path:
Send/Receive >> Send/Receive Groups >> Define Send/Receive Groups
In “Define Send/Receive Groups” option, click on “Edit” and choose to deselect the POP3 account by using
“Deselect” option for “Include the selected account in this group” dialog box.
Finally, click on “Ok” and restart Outlook. If you will again get prompted for password just make a click on
“Cancel” button.
In last, recreate the Outlook account by using IMAP settings.

Same situation. Had to pull out the Mini to research this. The Apple logo has been on the screen about five min, oh, just went black. Home brought it back and popup is gone. Wonder why this happened to many folks.

Iphone 5s pop email account will not delete emails

I cannot get my new iPhone 5s to keep deleted emails out of my Inbox. The e-mail account is a POP email account. They keep coming back into the Inbox after I move them to the Trash.
Please help! This is very frustrating.

The password for the new Apple ID does not work since the iCloud default user name is imbedded in the login box. The login popup for iCloud will not go away so I cannot get into my iPad since it pops up as soon as I turn the device on and re-occurs every few seconds.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPad on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Option to add POP email acounts not available

On my new BlackBerry Bold 9900 the option to add POP email accounts as described in the handbook is not availble. Only the option enterprise activation is provided. The BB is a none branded device and sold via AMAZON. OS 7.1 Paket 2061 (V7.1.0.714, Plattform 5.1.0.532) Is there a possbility to activate the POP email acount option, because I don't want the use push / enterprise mail.

On BB10 models the client will poll for email on POP3 server at an interval you select. When the email client finds email it downloads it do the device. Depending, you might want to set a long interval (30 minutes or an hour) and then manually refresh if you should happen to want to check at any time in between. You can set short intervals, if you want, and see what it does to battery life.
On BBOS models (with BIS as described above) the BIS server is doing the polling, and it pushes the email to the handset. The polling interval depends, If the BIS is finding email on the server each time it polls, then it will tend to poll more frequently. If it doesn't find email, it reverts to the default interval which is something like 15 minutes. Some accounts are pushed as soon as email arrives, such as Windlows Live, or Outlook.com.

Finally there are two boxes to click. One says not now. If I click on that the box goes away for 2 to 3 seconds and then pops back up and WILL NOT go away. If I click on the second box, Install, it says The software is currently unavailable. To install a Java SE 6 runtime later, open Java Application again.
My confusion here is that I have no idea what the java application is, When I click "okay" on that box, the original box pops us again and WILL NOT go away. CGoing to the apple lega web site was no help. My solution so far has been to drag the dialogue box as far to the lower right and out of the way as far as I can. Help.

Does this happen immediately after you log in? If so, one of your login items is probably causing it.

Update to latest iOS. Keep getting pop up message to "Connect to iTunes to use Push Notifications". This message will not go away. Any ideas on how to fix?

Move cursor onto video. Right click. Click Settings, Click the "never ask again" box. Then click Close. That will work.

Mail Account directory Will NOT go away!

A long time ago I set up an account for my friend to use on my web server and on my local computer (osx mail app). It's long since been deleted from Mail>preferences and on the server side.
But, in the directory, users:(user-x):Library:Mail:V2:
The old account keeps generating a directory that looks like this [email protected] (the mail server IP).
This will populate with the default mailboxes like in-box, junk, trash, etc.
you can trash it and it comes back as soon as the mail app checks for mail.
How can this be if it is a deleted account on the local computer and the user has been deleted from the server side?
And how can you make this go away?

Turn your phone off...then call your mobile phone number from another phone and leave a message. Turn the phone on and then go to your voicemail and listen to the message. Popup TitleWindow component will not go away

I have a very odd situation that I do not understand. I am
attempting to create a dialog box and can successfully do so. The
problem is, when I attempt to remove the dialog box, it does not go
away! When I instruct the pop-up manager to remove my pop-up, it
appears as though the dialog disappears. The background screen is
once again in focus but there is still another copy of my dialog
box on the screen that will not go away. The remaining dialog box
still captures and emits events but it will not remove itself event
though I tell to repeatedly.
I create pop-up as follows:

In order to close the dialog I simply catch the close event
and instruct the dialogue to remove itself as so:
PopUpManager.removePopUp(this);
When I create simple modal dialog boxes like the development
guide illustrates everything works correctly. However when I
attempt to create the modal dialog box in my application I observe
the above behavior. The behavior occurs whether the box is modal or
not. It occurs when my parent is the application or a child
component of the application. I have found no way to coax the
dialog box to completely remove itself. It almost appears as though
it is a bug but I cannot easily reproduce it to submit a bug
report.
I must be missing something. Perhaps I am not specifying the
correct parent for the pop up. My application consists of a
hierarchical tree of components. I am not certain what type of
information to post. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks a bunch.

that when i call the same code again my popup doesn't appear.
But now your problem, I think that your problem is that the
code does not now what "this" is anymore..
I use this:
PopUpManager.removePopUp(popup);
and works fine by me.
